Traumatic meniscus injuries are common. The study of longitudinal meniscal lesions, known as bucket-handle lesions, seemed to us to be of interest because of their frequency and their clinical, paraclinical and therapeutic particularities. The aim of our work was to study the long-term results of resections of these lesions on stable knees.The main mechanism of injury was hyperflexion of the knee; on arthro-CT and MRI, the constant feature was the fragment in the EIC. Our long-term results were similar to those reported in the literature. Overall, good and very good results ranged from 80 to 90%. According to the ARPEGE score, we found 85% excellent and good results. According to the IKDC score, 57.5% of patients judged their knee to be normal or almost normal at the last follow-up. Meniscus function plays a major role in the transmission of femorotibial forces and passive stabilization of the knee, which means that meniscus capital must be preserved through economical ansectomy, the only guarantee of good long-term functional results.

Human history is full of contradictions, antagonisms and murderous conflicts. This history has been built, and continues to be built, on the cement of horror and terror. It is written day by day with the anchor of blood, under the pen of violence. This violence, which poisons human existence, is omnipresent and protean, taking on new forms that threaten international peace and security. These threats include the proliferation of nuclear weapons, prostitution networks, the mafia, cybercrime, piracy and terrorism. Terrorism, one of the world's most widespread forms of violence, has survived the test of time, leaving an indelible mark on human history. In contemporary history, wars and murderous conflicts such as the two World Wars, the Rwandan genocide and the Srebrenica massacre have left their mark on contemporary international relations.

Organic amendment is an important element in agricultural production, given its effects on soil fertility. In this study, a trial was carried out on a plot of barley cultivated with sludge from the Beja wastewater treatment plant. A comparative study was carried out between the physico-chemical parameters of the two plots, unamended and amended with residual sludge (nitrogen, carbon, potassium, phosphorus and trace element content, structural stability and water permeability). Pre-sowing and post-harvest samples were taken. The results obtained showed a more or less significant difference in the physico-chemical parameters of the soil in the study area. For other major and trace element parameters, the difference was small. A significant difference was also recorded for barley yields (Arkansas variety) in the two plots amended and not amended with residual sludge. This work is aimed at correcting soil fertility with organic amendments, but this correction can be made over the long term.

It analyzes the elements of legal information processing in SILEX and the Chamber of Deputies' Manual for Compiling Brazilian Legislation, with the aim of obtaining a diagnosis of the legal information systems made available virtually and identifying the elements of information architecture in the Chamber of Deputies. It presents a descriptive comparative analysis of the principles of timeliness, relationship of norms, coverage, access to content and access to information that should guide the maintenance of legal information systems. The study concluded that a legal information system should follow the life cycle of legal information, include all versions of its texts published in official sources with coverage at national, state, municipal and district levels, and be accessible to citizens.

Currently, most of the world's hydrocarbon reserves are in the form of heavy oil or bitumen. The extraction and production of this resource requires the implementation of new technologies. One of the promising processes for recovering this oil is steam and solvent assisted gravity drainage (ES-SAGD), which uses two parallel horizontal wells, where the injector is placed above the producer. The process is carried out by injecting a hydrocarbon additive in low concentration together with steam. The steam contributes heat to reduce the viscosity of the oil and the solvent helps with miscibility, reducing the interfacial tension between oil and solvent. The influence of pressure drop and heat loss in the injection well on the ES-SAGD process was analysed. The reservoir model adopted has characteristics of the Brazilian Northeast and the numerical simulations were carried out using CMG's (Computer Modelling Group) STARS thermal simulator. The results showed that, for all the cases analysed, the model that takes pressure drop into account has lower cumulative oil production than the model that does not take pressure drop into account.

Tutoring is an Institutional strategy that Higher Education Institutions (HEI) have promoted through the Tutoring Program in the last two decades, in order to promote the integral formation of the student and assist in academic processes, and reduce dropout, dropout and failure. One of the main purposes is to enhance the academic activities of the students and to make this a fundamental concern in the Institutional development. In this sense, this document has the purpose of showing the advances that the Tutorial Program has had in its implementation in the IISUABJO, highlighting the background of the implementation of the Program and the use of technology in the tutorial action for its transformation.

Dance is a way of expression of the human being, whose intersubjectivity becomes a phenomenon of social representation, which is why the educational researchers create links with its actors, by understanding the dance manifestation, as an expression of the popular feeling in the community "Santa Barbara" belonging to the Libertador municipality of the State of Merida, Venezuela. The informants were three dancers, descendants of the founders, the protagonists of this study. For the collection of information and its analysis, discourses were developed in everyday contexts. The results allow us to interpret that dance is a cultural, social and religious phenomenon that identifies human beings from their feelings, becoming the mystical expression of popular tradition. The study concludes from the vision of its protagonists in giving an intangible value to the being that revitalises their ancestors, even when modern variants emerge, it resurfaces for the inhabitants of the sector, to preserve the folkloric dance every fourth of December in honour of their patron saint.

Education is one of the most vital human rights and is included in the list of fundamental rights set out in the country's highest law. However, not just any form of education has been elevated to constitutional status, but education with a view to promoting citizenship, the full development of human beings and their potential, in other words, we are talking about sustainable education. Despite being one of the most prestigious rights and despite the express normative commands regarding the power/duty of the state and society as a whole to promote it, its lack of implementation at all levels of education in Brazil, and therefore in the state of Amazonas, is blatant, leading us to a set of reflections that go beyond the scope of the legal sphere and highlight larger debates (cultural, political, social, etc.) and how these values influence the implementation or not of this fundamental right, the basis for building a sustainable society. With this in mind, the general aim of this work is to analyse the importance of sustainable education as an essential path for the development of the state of Amazonas.

Primary osteochondritis of the hip is a complex pediatric condition. This study evaluates the efficacy of current surgical techniques and explores the factors leading to success or failure. It thus contributes to optimizing the management of this complex disease, improving patients' quality of life and paving the way for future clinical improvements.There was a clear male predominance (ratio of 3.28), with symptoms presenting at a mean age of 6.77 years. Radiological evaluation revealed variations in Catterall, Hering and Stulberg stages, while showing significant improvements in femoral epiphysis sphericity and Wiberg angle after surgery. Compared with pelvic osteotomies, varization was associated with a significant reduction in lameness.It is crucial to consider the individuality of each patient when choosing the best surgical technique. Early diagnosis and appropriate intervention are essential for optimal long-term results.

Growth, mortality and sexual reversion of guppy and swordfish were calculated over 120 days in 10 gallon aquaria, without aeration; densities of 1 fry per L, temperature ranged from 26° to 28 ºC ¿ 0.1. The average pH value was 8.1 and 8.4; O2 was 6.4 mg /l. They were fed 3 different diets with balanced feed with the addition of 3 different hormones: 1 Sten, 2 Primoteston and 3 Sostenon 250. The guppy fry fed with diet 1 showed growth of 0.48 g weight and length of 4.2 cm; with diet 2 were 0.44 g and 4.0 cm, and with diet 3 0.48 g and 4.2 cm. Swordfish with diet 1 presented values of 0.55 g weight, length of 5.4 cm; with diet 2, they were 0.59 g and 5 cm, and with diet 3 they were 0.55 g and 4.1 cm. Mortality for P. reticulata was 15% with diet 1, 7.5% with diet 2 and 20% with diet 3. For X. helleri it was 20% with diet 1, 12.5% with diet 2 and 25% with diet 3. Sexual reversion to males in guppies 88.2% with diet 1, 94.5% with diet 2 and 87.5% with diet 3. For swordfish 84.3% with diet 1, 91.4% with diet 2 and 93.3% with diet 3.

Dental biofilm is a stable ecosystem in the form of several microbial colonies that modifies the characteristic physiology of the oral mucosa. It's an ecosystem that dynamically replaces dead cells, and its maturity enables it to shape a primitive circulatory system. This system controls the diffusion or expulsion of nutrients or other substances as required by the biofilm. This characteristic gives it the appearance of a living entity with integrity in its own right. Dental biofilm is a dynamic entity, and must therefore be studied in its microbiological context. The means of exploration, especially staining, are still limited. This difficulty, in addition to the differences between environments and individuals within the biofilm, leaves many mechanisms, especially interactive ones, unknown. The bacteriophage viruses and amoebae that exist in dental biofilms are unquantifiable, making it impossible to study the biological interactions of parasitism (bacteriophage viruses - bacteria) and predation (amoebae - bacteria).

We know that many institutions already have a recognition plan for the best employees, but we do not know how motivating these recognitions are, some work for the sake of working, others enjoy their work, some think that their work is not recognized. When employees reach their objectives, enjoying their work, the institution will benefit, because everyone is committed to achieve the same good. The implementation of strategies to improve motivation, consists of recognizing the collaborator, so that he/she feels that his/her effort is recognized. The person will not be absent, will not be late, will arrive well uniformed, because he knows that he is an important piece for the company.

This is an exploratory study focused on presenting the Korean Pop youth collective, a study that answers the question: How did K-pop come to the city of La Paz-Bolivia? and how did it come to agglutinate so many young people and consequently this grouping occupies a passage in the center of the city, thus obtaining the necessary conditions to carry out its activities. This work was carried out thanks to the collection of different stories of the protagonists and to an ethnographic work that helped to understand in depth their different behaviors.

This book addresses the normative and factual requirements prescribed by Law 1448 of 2011, to analyze the legal figure of opposition, presented by those who intend to assert the rights subsequently acquired over the lands claimed in said process and the correlative requirement to prove a behavior adjusted to the standard of good faith exempt from guilt as a presupposition to obtain economic compensation; in contrast to a reality of deficit of protection to vulnerable and legitimate secondary occupants, who have not surpassed said parameter set forth by the law, for whom the judgment constitutes an unacceptable injury to constitutional mandates that protect them. Faced with this reality, initially not foreseen by the Law, it has been the jurisprudence of the highest Constitutional Court that, in consideration of the rights of those affected by the restitution order, has raised guiding criteria of judicial hermeneutics, which, together with the argumentative method proposed in this book, will lead to justify the decision to be adopted in this regard.

Debate within parliaments is the essence of our democracy and an inherent faculty of the right to political representation. A qualified form of the right to freedom of expression, it is particularly protected by constitutions and international treaties. However, the debate is limited by the rules on parliamentary discipline, which, while respecting the fundamental rights of parliamentarians, form the framework for the development of a debate at the height of the highest representative institution of a country.

This research work was conducted in the Faculty of Education Sciences, in the Bachelor of Science in Education, saying that the Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) is rooted in real life behavior and not in theory or research, neurolinguistic programming is a system to prepare ("program"), systematically our mind (neuro), and make it communicate effectively what we think with what we do (linguistics), thus achieving congruence and effective communication through a strategy that focuses on human development, allows us to know the mental processes we use to encode information, and therefore our way of thinking and acting, in turn allowed us to understand how humans structure the individual experiences of life; generating the representation of an attitude of mind and a way of being in this world. Neurolinguistic programming is used in the classroom at all times because NLP is about how people succeed; how they manage to improve their lives to achieve their goals.

With the existence of Habeas Data in the Ecuadorian Constitution and the Electronic Commerce Law, the Central Bank of Ecuador is responsible for issuing and validating Electronic Signatures for any data exchange that requires legal validity. The Universidad Tecnica del Norte, hereinafter UTN, is implementing new communication and information technologies through the evolution of its institutional processes to adequately serve its students. QUIPUX is a document management software that does not meet the requirements to be integrated to the Integrated University Information System of the UTN, whose acronym is SIIU. Implement a digital signature service software to positively impact at least one process of the management of institutional procedures: ISSUANCE OF REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES SIGNED DIGITALLY AT UTN. Document the SRS according to the ISO / IEC 29148 standard.

Following his recent publication of the work "Energy Reform in Mexico" for the Chamber of Deputies last May, this essay discusses Dr. Victor Rodriguez-Padilla's text "100 years of Oil in Mexico" from the hermeneutic philosophy of Hans-Georg Gadamer. This involves commenting on the definition of oil to form a hermeneutic sense of the Mexican collective consciousness, its links with nationalism and the complex process of recovery that the people of Mexico experienced throughout the twentieth century. Delving into the relationship between interpreter and author, and immersing ourselves in the historical unfolding of oil from its links with morality, we end by analyzing the axiological and symbolic foundation that occurs in the text.

This monographic work intends to understand the paths that are taken when faced with situations of child abuse and maltreatment detected in public schools. The bibliographic analysis on the subject will be articulated with the personal academic experience during the process of intervention in a Public School in Montevideo in 2012, in which we worked with children who lived situations of Abuse and Mistreatment. From this academic experience, questions arise in relation to the process of approach that took place in the school and the role of the psychologist in an environment that is governed by the institutional rules of the public school. The approach to the subject will aim to investigate and understand the ways in which situations of child abuse and mistreatment detected in the school institution are addressed, as well as the use and viability of the Road Map, of the Council of Initial and Primary Education, in its latest edition (2013), a tool designed to guide the officials of this institution in the detection of situations of mistreatment and abuse.

This bioethics course is called university because it is intended for undergraduate students and contains universal subjects studied in bioethics. It includes thirteen chapters with a selective bibliography. In this course, the student learns the notions of morals and ethics. He discovers the relationship between ethics and medical practice. And then, he penetrates the history of bioethics and grasps major themes such as genetic engineering, contraceptive techniques, assisted reproduction, organ transplant techniques, tissue transplantation, abortion, while clarifying for each theme the ethical issues raised. Then, the ethical problems triggered by patient support, therapeutic relentlessness, euthanasia, coma and celebrable death are examined. To resolve a bioethics problem, the student is taught the types of bioethics committee and the methods of analysis with supporting exercises. And in Africa? The course explains in the last chapter an African strategy to circumvent sterility in a couple.

The aim of this work was to find out about the diet and ecology of Tilapia niloticus and Limnotrissa miodon in the littoral zones of Lake Kivu in the case of the Baie de la sncc using the occurrence method, which specifies the type of diet of these two species by direct survey. Our feeding results show 50% cow manure, 26% chicken droppings and 24% rice flour in the cages and on the surface of the lake, and the ecology of the two species living in symbiosis in the sncc bay, Lake Kivu.

Exposure and use of nanoparticles are widely called into question by recent awareness of the existence of poorly understood potential risks. These nanoparticles have properties and behavior different from other particles because of their very small size. They are characterized and classified according to particular behaviors and new parameters specific to them. However, fine particles of larger size, nanoparticles, are known for their toxicity towards the environment and the human body. Due to their small size, they can easily penetrate the body by crossing barriers, as well as disperse throughout the environment and reach fauna, flora, and humans.

The present work aims to "analyze the influence of sustainable resource management in the production of the shrimp industry in Machala canton, period 2015-2017" as a way to reduce environmental pollution caused by the use of chemicals in shrimp production. Descriptive statistics were used to show the information resulting from the surveys conducted to 10 production companies that use sustainable resources, obtaining as a result the effects of the use of such resources in the production processes, thus complying with the provisions of the Organic Environmental Code, in the National Development Plan 2017-2021 All a life-Objective 3 and, achieving the recognition "Green Dot" for good environmental practices granted by the Ministry of Environment.

With a view to putting the right man in the right place for better performance in the workplace, psychological tests are used to highlight an individual's aptitudes and abilities, as well as to observe their behavior and identify their personality characteristics. When a person applies for a job, we want to know if he or she is suitable for the position. And since you can't get to know someone a priori simply by meeting them and talking to them, tests are often used to bring out what's hidden. Psychological tests are therefore often used in professional selection. A recruiting company is like a jigsaw puzzle looking for its missing piece. Not just any piece will do. Similarly, when you're looking for a candidate, you first need to define in advance the abilities he or she must demonstrate and the very valuable qualities he or she must possess. This module covers two parts: the first focuses on test methods, the second on test construction.

The scene of free access to knowledge has changed in the 21st century. The organizational model of free software has gained the interest of those who used to defend the proprietary model, while free knowledge initiatives are increasingly interested in achieving sustainability. Today it is possible to find coherence in the open science discourse, so that it is recognized by governmental and multilateral bodies.The articles in this volume reflect this maturation process. The first part brings together essays that explore the foundations of a critical approach to knowledge. The second and third parts translate some premises to their practical consequences in fields such as media communication, education, law and labor. The fourth part is the result of the interest in laying the foundations of a management model based on access to knowledge.As a result, this publication brings together various ideas on the subject of free access to knowledge from a civic and community perspective. In this sense, it proposes to offer elements for the understanding of open science policies.
