The purpose is to observe the performance of the use of educational software in the learning process, specifically in the area of human anatomy, and its relationship with the creation of technological and pedagogical tools that facilitated the study method. Through a quasi-experimental design, the research was applied to a population made up of students enrolled in the Nursing course in the 2017 academic year - in the anatomy I course, which corresponds to the first year of the study plan. For this purpose, two divisions were taken as a sample, representing a total of 54 students, 26 from group I and 28 from group II. Of these, some names were removed due to non-attendance and because they were irregular students, leaving 20 from group I, which was the control group, and 20 from group II, the experimental one. The experimental group received the bonelab software support classes for the study of the bones in 3D. Those in the control group received classes using the traditional method.

The present work is made up of the following sections: Introduction where I develop the description of the problem, the epistemological conceptions, the methodological triad, the design and the research procedures. In Chapter 1 I explain the dimension of the general strategy. In Chapter 2 I investigate and dedicate myself to the bibliographic search of the background related to the topic and the main concepts that helped me to develop the work. In the third section I explain the socio-political context where I write the characteristics of the political project and economic issues of the Educational Transformation of the province of La Pampa. In the fourth section, I show the dimension of the techniques used to obtain and analyse empirical information, using the techniques of interviews, observations and life histories, and the corresponding analysis of each one. In Chapter 5, I conclude my work with some reflections on the information obtained and perhaps I can use it to discuss these appreciations of this research work.

In the history of mankind, a never-ending dialogue between the present and the past, experience has shown that the easiest way to remember history, to recount events, to learn about matters, has been to tell them; even the least knowledgeable have understood the most effective style to describe the variety of phenomena in this continuous process, a constant dialogue between the historian and the facts, which has been history.

The purpose of this study is to provide an introductory presentation of the Colombian antitrust regime, in a very specific aspect: the administrative liability that may be incurred by the various market players for the implementation of restrictive practices of competition. Therefore, this book is intended for non-experts in the field: students, lawyers, judges and non-specialized judicial officials, as well as professionals from other areas who are beginning their exploration of this discipline of commercial law, with the objective of providing the reader with a global vision of the subject, allowing him/her to identify those aspects on which he/she wishes to study in depth.

Most of the interpretations that have been made of Augustine's Against Academics have emphasized the epistemological aspect of the work and present it as a merely rational effort to establish, from the veracity of the arguments provided from logic, ethics and physics, the possibility of finding certain knowledge. It is considered important to privilege a reading of the work that takes into account Augustine's ethical and moral argument against academics, as considered by John Heil (1972) and Ryan Topping (2012). Hence, this paper focuses on analyzing the relationship between wisdom and happiness from Augustine's considerations of the sage in that work. It is well known that the Hellenistic philosophical schools, in addition to presenting the theoretical points of their systems, propose a way of life or ethos in relation to their discourses. From this they set forth a model of the sage and a consideration of what it means to lead a good or happy life. The question that directs the exposition is formulated in the following terms: Who can be called wise and happy according to Augustine's reflections in Against Academics?

The present research addresses the impacts of the instrumentalization of the internet by the Islamic State (IS) on the security and defense doctrine of the United Kingdom, particularly subsequent to the attacks that the group influenced/led on British territory in the first half of 2017. This instrumentalization is presented in a multidimensional way, however, this paper delves into the distribution of propaganda, the recruitment of followers and the provision of information on how to carry out an attack. Being the 2017 attacks a neural point in British history, an analysis is presented on the changes in discourse and action that occurred in the United Kingdom after the events with respect to the internet as a tool of outlawed groups. The research then seeks to relate the 2017 terrorist attacks to an unprecedented increase in the regulation of the internet in the UK. This work was a thesis for the 2018 undergraduate degree in International Relations at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to learn about teachers' conceptions of differentiated assessment and curricular flexibility in inclusive contexts. The great challenge facing teachers today is to ensure that all students, regardless of their individual characteristics, actively participate in the educational process and achieve quality learning. The design of this research was qualitative with a single case study approach and three data collection techniques: semi-structured interview, focus groups and document analysis, the participants of this study were 10 teachers from 3 educational institutions. The main results show that teachers handle a paradigmatic problem when referring to concepts such as integration and inclusion, which leads to a cultural barrier and jeopardizes the possibility of building an educational system with equity. Regarding differentiated assessment, teachers recognize its importance and concept, but basically accuse lack of time and training for its implementation, working as a pedagogical strategy and not as a teaching methodology.

he word "politics" is unpopular, so much so that many people call themselves "apolitical" and prefer to avoid political topics in any conversation. Brecht calls such people "politically illiterate," questioning that the less we are involved in politics, the more we are complicit in the injustices and abuse of the state. In other words, politics is everybody's business and not only for those who are professionally dedicated to it, so that the more we avoid our political responsibility in the environment, the more we will contribute to the violation of our human rights and the worsening of inequality, since those who manage political affairs will take the greatest possible advantage of the generalized indifference. This book develops some issues to understand what politics is and how to become aware of our historical role. It discusses the political relationship between Christians, witches and communists; it clarifies what machismo, democracy, left and right in politics consist of, whether capitalism has a mythology, what is the relationship between Marxism, feminism and human rights, and concludes with a philosophical analysis of happiness.

The book recreates in its maximum human dimension the power and weakness in these current times through behavior or force of language that expresses threat and/or insults with aggressive character in adolescents. This power, which the author proposes to call bullying, constitutes a risk factor in the lives of adolescents and marks an early weakness with a tendency to attempt suicide. The author gives importance to both phenomena in order to prevent deaths. The present book gathers an analogy between bullying and suicide attempt as a multicausal binomial constituting an infernal social scourge for any country in the world.

The subprosthetic stomatitis is a chronic inflammatory lesion of the buccal mucosa, the etiology is multifactorial always related to the use of prosthesis. Multiple are the treatments used where Ozone Therapy occupies an important space, this therapeutic modality has been analyzed from the perspective of its effectiveness where the gender analysis has not been taken into account, in these cases the disaggregation by sexes is made and an analysis is made from the biological point of view, However, gender analysis is not based on biological differences, but rather on the social differences generated by being a man or a woman in a given context and has a historical character, which is based on the fact that one of the dimensions of social inequality is the relationship between women and men, together with others such as social class, ethnicity and region of residence. The use of this approach enriches the explanatory frameworks of the health-disease process, as well as the response to certain treatments. Therefore, it is necessary to include gender in the analysis of the effectiveness of ozone therapy in the treatment of subprosthetic stomatitis.

At that time I did not know that all contact would end up leaving eternal traces. Now I look out of the corner of my eye and try to understand how the heavens land on the ground of magnitudes. It is the footage impregnated in human rationality that has been in charge of governing the displays of reason for centuries.

The use of lactic acid bacteria in the dairy industry has undergone enormous evaluation in technologically advanced countries, but the exploitation of this type is very limited in certain other countries such as Algeria. This limitation concerns the diversity of products on the market, but also the number of strains introduced into dairy products, and is linked to the constraints posed by lactic acid bacteria. The main aim of the present study is to isolate new lactic acid bacteria from cow's milk and test their probiotic capacity (adhesive capacity, resistance to acidity, etc.). The milk collected from the three farms underwent physico-chemical and microbiological analyses, with satisfactory results. The cow's milk samples were subjected to spontaneous fermentation to enrich their lactic microflora. From 61 isolated strains, only 10 were selected. The results obtained are interesting, making our strains presumptive probiotics, which may play an important role in the gastrointestinal tract and in the inhibition of pathogenic microorganisms.

Access to scientific knowledge and technologies is one of the keys to socio-economic transformation and the achievement of high levels of productivity and international competitiveness, thus fulfilling the social mission of education based on the need to train men and women to master the fruits of the Scientific-Technological Revolution and to be, at the same time, creators and innovators. Among the definitions offered by researchers on scientific culture, we suggest the one that considers it as part of the general culture of people, which enables man to form explanations, interpretations and predictions about the phenomena and processes that surround them, from the most updated of science, in order to satisfy social and personal needs and interests, in harmony with nature. The proposed practical-experimental activities allow the development of scientific culture in students, since they make possible the link between the contents they receive in the different subjects and the activities they carry out in their daily lives, promoting adequate assessments of scientific-technological development.

The inspiration for using animated films as a teaching resource in science classes came from the Extension Project called "Cinema with Science", which seeks to bring methodological innovations through cinema to teachers, students and academics interested in the subject. The aim of this study is to present a reflection on current affairs, presenting leadership as one of the factors for organisations to achieve this success and emphasising the importance of an effective leader in motivating their team and achieving optimum results in the work carried out. The topics covered will be leadership styles, the differences between the main characteristics of leaders and bosses and the positive and negative points of each style. The central theme of this work is workers' mental health and how organisational environments and their managers contribute to good or bad health. We seek to clearly present the extent to which work is beneficial in each individual's life and when it becomes considered suffering, leading to psychological and depressive illnesses.

This research aims to delve into the conflictive relations between the Government of Gabriel Gonzalez Videla, the Communist Party, the Coal Companies and the Mining Unions during the 1947 strike in Lota and Coronel. Subsequently, special emphasis will be placed on the State of Siege that Lota and Coronel suffered under the Armed Forces and how it affected the workers' movement and its sympathizers through the imposition of a system of rules restricting their political and civic rights. In this sense, the disparity of perspectives between the inhabitants of both cities about militarization and the type of coexistence, resistance and adaptation to the circumstances that were generated at the time will be distinguished.

This book presents the crisis in education as a moment of dialogue with the crisis. This work also has the ultimate aim of producing didactic material, being a programmed instruction manual. The text is divided into two parts. The first deals with the crisis in modernity, totalitarianism as a problem, in its central aspects, analysing two possible responses to it: the ready-made and prejudiced responses to the crisis and the responses that emerge from understanding, that is, from the endless dialogue with the voices that participate in the crisis. The second moment is dedicated to accompanying a philosophy class for administration, proposing teaching material that aims to problematise the concepts presented by an instruction manual and a moment of debate. The manual is at the end of the book as an appendix.

Discussions on sustainability have gained relevance in the most diverse environments. As a result, organisations are being urged to adopt an ethical and responsible approach to business, with a view to sustainable development. In this context, the research problem of this study was to identify which organisational practices are geared towards sustainability and the degree to which they are currently institutionalised at Itaipu Binacional. Thus, its main objective was to understand the process of institutionalisation of organisational sustainability practices at Itaipu Binacional. It is hoped that this research can help promote sustainable practices in the organisational environment, especially in hydroelectric plants, which are known for their environmental and social impacts.

Attention deficit is increasingly growing in educational contexts, due to the poor medical detection and early approach to disorders such as ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), this disorder without proper attention can generate severe sequelae in adolescence and adulthood in different contexts of life, due to this, the ATENTI attentional pedagogical strategy is created, which links some contents supported by a virtual learning environment that favor the attentional processes of children at early ages within the educational context. In the research, the relevance and validation of the strategy is verified from two perspectives, the first one starts with a pedagogical level through the validation of the contents by two experts related to educational psychology and later, a technological validation of functionality and relevance by two experts in virtual education and digital contents, to later involve a population of cycle 1 of a Bogotá IED and evaluate the impact of the strategy in the attentional aspect.

B viral reactivation is commonly defined as a sudden reappearance, or an increase in viral load of 1 logUI/ml, in a patient with an inactive or resolved B viral infection. It can occur spontaneously, or during states of immunodepression.Several risk factors associated with viral reactivation have been studied in the literature. Some are host-related, such as male sex and young age, while others are related to the B virus, such as virological status (HBsAg - HBeAg) and viral load. Factors related to the type and degree of immunosuppression allow stratification of the risk of reactivation.The aim of our study is to investigate risk factors in the spontaneously reactivating group and in the group of patients undergoing iatrogenic immunosuppression.

Research into internationalisation in tourism is receiving increasing attention. This interest is associated with economic, social, territorial and other concerns. The importance attributed to the contribution that tourism can make to the development of countries and regions and its economic, environmental and social impact explain this attention. The topicality and relevance of the subject justify the scientific community also looking into the internationalisation of destinations, with the aim of adding value through the knowledge it generates and the research it carries out. This work seeks to explain what triggers it, what facilitates it and what conditions need to be taken into account in the process of internationalising tourist destinations, from the perspective of supply.

In view of the complexity of Electric Power Systems (PES), caused by the sharp increase in electricity demand, it is necessary to use efficient tools so that utilities can deliver quality energy to their consumers. This book presents a means of classifying and detecting three voltage disturbances: sag, harmonics and swell. The tool used is based on the Artificial Immunological System (AIS), specifically the Negative Selection Algorithm (NSA). The simulations were carried out in ATPDraw software and the test system is real, with 134 load bars, 1 substation and 133 circuits, and a base voltage of 13.8 kV.

Interest in vitamin D has increased due to studies showing its non-calcemic effects, its deficiency being associated with obesity and other chronic diseases such as Diabetes Mellitus. The aim of this study is to determine vitamin D levels in overweight and obese patients, evaluating vitamin D deficiency and insufficiency and its relationship with body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), blood pressure, glycemia values, lipid profile and HOMA index.

Brazilian education today is questioning itself, looking for essential answers to solve the important role of managers in the face of the difficulties presented by political and social issues and the interests of those who hold the power of financial resources to promote better quality education and professional training. Thus, faced with the financial difficulties experienced by the current Brazilian reality, managers are faced with the challenge of adapting to the high demands of supervisory bodies and society. The research was carried out in the mesoregion of the state of Pará, with a sample of 20 managers of private institutions, meeting the inclusion criteria using an objective questionnaire and quantified using the Linkert scale.
