This work was carried out and presented at the Federal University of Paraíba, under the supervision of Professor Fábio Morais Borges. With the aim of obtaining the degree of Mechanical Production Engineer. The management of occupational risks is a factor that managers should pay close attention to, as it has beneficial consequences for both the company and the workers. In order to have effective occupational risk management, the rules established by law must be complied with, one of which is the mandatory development and implementation of an Environmental Risk Prevention Programme (PPRA). That said, the aim of this final project is to develop a PPRA for the University Restaurant of the Federal University of Paraíba, campus I in João Pessoa. To this end, several employees were interviewed, knowledge of the activities carried out by the workers was obtained, and the occupational risks found in each sector of the University Restaurant were identified qualitatively. After the qualitative identification, the need was identified to carry out quantitative assessments of certain risks.

Today's communication landscape is characterised by a multiplicity of media and channels for producing and disseminating content. In an attempt to integrate this scenario, radio has joined forces with the internet, creating digital platforms to ensure the dissemination of its content and reformulating the relationship it establishes with its listeners, who are now also adopting the role of users. Reflecting on the impact of the media on today's society, we wonder about the role of the school as a vehicle for transmitting knowledge and the relationship it establishes with the media. The prominent role played by the internet in conjunction with the media arouses interest in media education and the relevance of discussing it with children and young people.

Without animal protein, it is very likely that we would not be as we are -since the last 200,000 years- as indicated by the archeological remains of the hominids that preceded us. Supported by documentary information with abundant bibliography, the dilemma of eating meat is analyzed, with arguments from philosophy, ethics, anthropology, animal welfare science, applied ethology, nutrition, psychology and sustainability. The main objective of this essay is to provide a framework on the use of contemporary ethical principles and theories on our relationship with food animals - such as teleological theories, deontological theories and principlism, among others - that the reader - especially a zootechnical student - can understand as an acquisition of instrumental competences, and apply it to the dilemma caused by the consumption of animal protein.

This small book aims to build a theoretical framework around the different concepts in which Food and Nutrition Security (FNS) is framed. It defines hunger and food security and gives a brief history of the development of the concept of FNS, focusing on the dimension of economic access, the main cause of food and nutrition insecurity. Next, concepts associated with FNS such as vulnerability, food sovereignty, human right to food, poverty and social inequality are addressed, since it is understood that the discussion of these categories of analysis is fundamental when studying access to food and nutritional security.

The monograph writes about the cooperation between the two countries. Political dialogue is actively maintained between the two sovereign states, which is a subtle instrument of mutual understanding, through which interests are balanced and strategies of domestic and foreign policy of Russia and Kyrgyzstan are implemented. This is felt during official visits of the heads of state, visits of official representatives, high officials, etc. The parliamentarians of Russia and Kyrgyzstan also contribute to the development of political dialogue, expressing their support for the expansion of joint activities on the convergence of national legislations and the synchronization of procedures for the ratification of signed documents, the creation of a common legal space in the CIS, and the development of legal mechanisms for successful political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. Interaction between Russia and Kyrgyzstan is a priority in foreign policy, foreign economic and military-strategic courses.

With the major changes in beef cattle farming, especially with the increase in large-scale feedlots, there is a greater need than ever to develop nutritional strategies with high levels of concentrates. The aim is to improve production performance, manipulate the deposition of finishing fat and marbling with effects on carcass growth and meat quality in feedlot animals. The aim is to reduce the cost of prepared diets, as well as the operating costs of preparing and distributing them to the animals. Likewise, as a result, labour, confinement time, food waste, investments in machinery and facilities will be rationalised, with a positive impact on the profitability of the activity. When working with complete rations with high levels of concentrate for ruminants, some feed management operations are necessary so that rumen stability is not compromised during this process. Some strategies, such as the use of additives, fibres and the non-processing of feed, can play an important role in preventing rumen metabolic disorders.

Ahmadou Kourouma, a writer from Côte d'Ivoire, made his literary debut by making African values his own. Despite the alienation that imposed the colonial script and language on the African people, Kourouma's writing has never ceased to influence them and to present itself as composite, polyphonic and atypical, bringing the concept of creation to bear. From this came our choice of works including Les soleil des indépendances, En attendant le vote des bêtes sauvages, Monnè outrage et défi, Allah n'est pas obligé, quand on refuse on dit non. This gave us the idea of reflecting on the theme of "Novel creation and the problem of language in Ahmadou Kourouma's work". In order to tackle our subject, we have drawn up a study plan based on three essential and complementary axes, each subdivided into three chapters with the support of sociocriticism, semiotics, psychocriticism and narratology.

The question in this book arises from the realisation that Freud attributes a narcissistic origin to the self and, at the same time, refers to the self as a bodily self. This statement calls into question the relationship between narcissism and corporeality, which is not explicitly thematised in his work, always appearing in a dispersed way throughout its development. The references to the theme of narcissism in his works also reveal a continuous evolution of his concept. This study first follows the process of formation of the concept of narcissism in Freud's work. Then, four specific themes that are directly linked to the issue of corporeality in Freud are addressed: schizophrenia, hypochondria, conversion and erogeneity. Analysing these themes is the way to discuss the relationship between the theory of narcissism and Freud's approach to corporeality.

This book was written by state civil servants from the state of Minas Gerais and aims to deal with the issue of innovation in organisations, especially with a focus on analysing the organisational context of public administration. The book aims to help broaden the field of study on the subject of innovation in public management and to analyse management innovation projects developed in the state of Minas Gerais. By analysing the data collected, the aim was to highlight the main advances achieved by innovation, as well as the main obstacles identified to its implementation.

Cancer is a genetic disease that ultimately happens as a result of the effects of environmental factors. In 2018, more than 15,000,000 people were diagnosed with cancer and approximately 8,000,000, or 50% of them, died. Cancer mortality ranked first by the number of deaths in the world in the past year. The simplest and least expensive way to fight cancer is to improve nutrition, as this book aims to do.

Through its wide-ranging references, the book makes it possible to develop a critical and reflective analysis of the current Unified Health System, providing academic/professional reflection by analysing the challenges of legislation (theory) versus practice that must be overcome in order to make the SUS a reality. Aimed at academics in the health sciences, it comprehensively compiles scientific literature on the construction of the public health system in Brazil, from its historical basis and evolutionary process to the standards and protocols developed from the country's health policies. It covers the health models adopted in Brazil's history, up to the emergence of the Unified Health System (SUS) with its principles and guidelines, standards and pacts, the blocks and organisation that finance the public system. It also includes an analysis and organisation of the Health Care Levels according to the determinants of the health and disease process, highlighting primary care. The tool that I consider essential for achieving the objectives of primary care, which is Community Diagnosis, was discussed.

This study aims to verify the innovation construct and its impact on student satisfaction and loyalty at HEIs in Brazil, adding other constructs to the original ECSI model: complaint, failure recovery, trust and word-of-mouth communication, proposing a model adapted and expanded from the ECSI-European model. The research is guided by the following problem: Can innovation, complaints, fault recovery, trust and word-of-mouth communication have an impact on the perception of student satisfaction and loyalty towards HEIs, in the light of new evidence of these constructs? This study used a methodology describing data analysis techniques, statistical data analysis, descriptive analysis, factor analysis and structural equation modeling. An extension was made to the ECSI-European model, introducing new constructs - innovation, complaint, failure recovery, trust and word-of-mouth communication. The results of this study show that the majority of the constructs were rated positively by the students, and were directly related to satisfaction and loyalty, including trust and fault recovery.

Ballantyne syndrome is characterized by the triad of fetal, placental and maternal edema. It is a rare condition associated with fetal hydrops, in which the mother reflects fetal symptoms. It is essential to differentiate it from preeclampsia, since there are common signs such as hypertension and proteinuria. The etiopathogenesis is unknown, although theories associated with an imbalance between angiogenic and antiangiogenic factors have been postulated. Its treatment consists of terminating gestation or improving the fetal situation. It has a significant impact on fetal morbidity and mortality; however, the mother usually recovers within a few days after termination of pregnancy.

AUTHOR: ROSANA RODRIGUES Graduated in Accounting Science in 2017, she believed in the Federal Government's project and dedicated herself to the topic of implementing eSocial in companies in her Capstone, completing the course with this new era of digital information fully realised. Since 2014, she had been researching the new rules, which became a reality in October 2015 with eSocial for households, and over the course of the timetables for other companies. This caught her attention because Brazilian culture was undergoing a real change. He has currently worked in an accountancy office in the city of Telêmaco Borba for 11 years. Since his first job in the 1990s, he has worked in the Personnel Department and Human Resources area, something he does with great love. With his knowledge of the subject, he has implemented eSocial effectively, applying it in all the companies where he works, bringing reliability to his clients. The cross-checking of information is something that is monitored in real time. eSocial is here to innovate. All you have to do is follow the sequential steps set out in this book to fulfil the Federal Government's obligation, a large database for the supervisory bodies.

The results contained in this paper aim to offer a creative proposal of innovative and flexible character, capable of addressing the diversity arising from the heterogeneity of learning styles shown by students participating in virtual training programmes, through a research conducted between 2017 and 2019 with the intention of presenting a way to determine the learning styles from virtual environments in students of the Zootechnical - Veterinary speciality of the Instituto Politécnico Agropecuario "Manuel Simón Tames Guerra" and strengthen, from them, individualised attention.A theoretical conception is presented, consisting of dimensions, sub-dimensions, indicators and evaluative scales, which allows the characterisation and identification of learning styles in virtual environments.

This work will present a study on Forensic Auditing, how Auditing in conjunction with accounting can prevent and combat corporate fraud in Brazil, showing the process of it, when the will and the opportunity to extort the entity's assets and its potential assets arise. How to discover signs to detect it and how to prevent it. This study arose out of concern about the training that accountants and future auditors have, when it comes to the importance of studying fraud and its prevention and detection. Precisely because "auditing cannot act as a police force".

The present degree work, a case study model, as an alternative to the inhabitants of La Puntilla de la Troncal, the development of family gardens as an alternative to lower the costs of the family basket. The study was carried out in the canton of La Troncal, province of Cañar with the objective of determining the living conditions of the families, incorporating in their daily life a balanced diet with the products of the family gardens implemented for this purpose. The methodology used for this work was the elaboration of descriptive surveys carried out to the inhabitants of the area of the canton. These surveys, once answered, were processed and interpreted by calculating index numbers (percentages) and their interpretation was done by means of pie charts. As a result, the community showed great interest in the development and implementation of the project, since it would provide them with economic alternatives, in addition to strengthening family and community relations in the sector.

Studying poetry, especially its major themes, means, from another point of view, interpreting the dreams of the poets who wrote it with all their imaginary powers. For we often dream before we contemplate, as Gaston Bachelard famously put it, and we suffer through dreams and heal through dreams too. Of course, dreams give us the ability to create images, not simply to see them, but to interpret them afterwards.Every image seen in a dream brings to mind another image experienced in real life.And since most dreams, according to Erich Fromm, have a common character, they don't obey the laws of logic that govern waking thought, so they become a kind of poetic images. And this leads us to study them in depth, with an academic vision and a methodological approach.

Food allergy is a public health problem with a clinical, financial and social impact. Studying this issue contributes to its prevention and treatment. The aim of this book was to describe the profile of paediatric patients with Cow's Milk Protein Allergy. This was a survey of children under the age of two treated at a public hospital in Brasília and enrolled in a home-based nutritional therapy programme. Personal, clinical, nutritional and anthropometric data were collected from medical records. The average time of exclusive breastfeeding was 2 months and 76 per cent were exclusively breastfed for less than 4 months. The average age of onset of symptoms was 2 months. Of the total population, 95% had gastrointestinal symptoms, 55% dermatological, 18% respiratory and 13% anthropometric changes. The most prescribed formula was extensively hydrolysed formula without lactose. It was concluded that the time of exclusive breastfeeding was less than recommended, with the possible early onset of symptoms. There was a predominance of eutrophic children, which may be due to their access to early treatment through a government programme.

Methodological work in the Cuban context constitutes for managers and teachers a space for innovation par excellence. The procedures proposed in this book are an innovative expression in the permanent search for a way of working by the management structures, and have been created in the research generated by the Research and Development Project for the Professionalization of Teachers in Learning Management in the Santiaguero Context (PRODOGESANTIAGO). In the book, an important place is occupied by the defense of the idea that methodological work is a component of the process of permanent teacher training, which, together with academic and post-graduation improvement, make up a system of influences for the professionalization of teachers. It emphasizes on the relations between managers and teachers to argue the work of management as an activity essentially for the training of those involved in the pedagogical process. Within the framework of educational reforms in Cuba, it is argued that changes in curricula, textbooks and subject programs must be accompanied by a new conception and preparation of teachers and managers.

The search for external knowledge and its insertion into the internal environment of organisations is a determining factor for their performance and competitiveness. This phenomenon is called absorptive capacity (AC), which allows organisations to adapt to changes in the environment. The aim of this study was to validate an instrument for measuring AC in the context of HEIs, using the views of Information Technology managers. The method used was a bibliometric survey, followed by a quantitative survey. The data collection used was of the survey type; it was classified as descriptive and, as it was an analysis involving numerous variables, the measurement instrument was validated using a confirmatory factor analysis. Low correlations were found in the variables relating to communication mechanisms, routines and triggers for activating the search for external knowledge. The positive point found was proactivity, showing that HEIs are proactive and do not wait for change to occur before adapting later, in the view of IT managers.

Cameroon's Far North region, bordering northeastern Nigeria, receives a steady stream of gruesome news from the border every day. From the beginning of its operations out of Maiduguri, Boko Haram has used the margins as a fallback area and transit space for arms and ammunition from sources outside Cameroon. This region has recently become the scene of an upsurge in attacks by the Nigerian terrorist group Boko Haram. These incursions, which continue to plague the region, target villages, health centers, and positions of the Cameroonian armed forces for supplies of food, livestock, medicines, and weapons. Kidnappings, repeated suicide bombings, and attacks with heavy weapons have become the daily routine of the local population. The resurgence of these attacks proves that despite the heavy military investment, the terrorist threat in the region is still present, and that the Islamist sect retains a significant capacity to cause harm. But how can this renewed activity of the jihadist group in the region be explained?

This course introduces the principles of ecology that enable us to understand how ecosystems function, a prerequisite for understanding the main factors behind their dysfunction. The concept of an ecosystem results from and is presented as an integrated unit with its various abiotic and biotic components. Every living thing is a source of food for another living organism, which constitutes what is known as the trophic chain or food chain, and consists in the transfer of matter and energy from one trophic level to another. Climate change and the intensive use of habitats by mankind are at the root of many environmental upheavals. These disturbances are causing a loss of biodiversity. A number of research studies have demonstrated the negative impact of biodiversity loss on ecosystem functioning. The study of ecosystem functioning and the importance of diversity in maintaining ecological processes are taking on new importance.

The present contribution analyzes, on the basis of magnetic proxies, the environmental variations that occurred on sediments assigned to the late Holocene. The samples belong to the two lacustrine cores extracted from Laguna Carmen, located in central Tierra del Fuego (Argentina). The facies sedimentation is consistent with a model of sedimentation in a shallow water body, which receives inputs from fluvial systems of variable energy. The lower part of the sequence is composed of alternating coarse and fine sediments. This rhythmic repetition is due to regular changes in the transported material. The major elements point to a constant input area and the prevalence of sub-humid to semi-arid conditions. Based on available paleontological information the silty or muddy sediments have high electrical conductivity. The composition of the ostracod assemblages indicates the predominance of water deficit conditions during intervals that do not show significant detrital input.

We have the imminent challenge for the satisfaction of our students, to be able to have a work material or specialized information in relation to Paralympic sports, our students are the future teachers of special populations who are always looking for information according to their specialty or their orientation. the need in our country to take seriously the problem of special populations, makes us think of the 15 percent of the national population with different syndromes of different special needs.

At present there is a crisis in the formation of subjects, whose responsibility has been assigned especially to the school; obviating the initial formation that should be imparted at home, therefore, school-home should work together to strengthen future citizens. In the upbringing process, parents are directly responsible for establishing guidelines, values and principles, although it is true that different professionals such as teachers who can contribute to the process are important, their main function lies in guiding and accompanying children and parents in the discovery of the child's own development, where the stages in their growth and development allow the child to assimilate concepts and create their own knowledge according to their age.

In recent years, scientific research has been strengthened, but not its dissemination. Despite many efforts on the part of the universities to disseminate their lines of research among students, these are not effective, resulting in them not having access to dissemination and/or participation in research within their houses of study, which is why the idea of creating an area in charge of scientific dissemination at the student level arose. This book covers the beginning of our concerns as students about how to see and approach science in the community, raising ideas as a team that led us to establish ourselves as "Student Centre for Scientific Dissemination", in order to be recognised by both the students and their teaching staff. This book offers those who consult it the possibility of encouraging an idea within their academic, professional and/or personal tasks so that, through our experience and initiative, it can be replicated and/or serve as a launching pad for ideas that can change the world, and awaken interest in the area of Scientific Dissemination.

Cardiovascular diseases have a major impact on world health. Although clinical treatment makes it easier for individuals to intervene, cardiac surgery is still the most common approach adopted by some cardiologists, with the aim of increasing the user's outlook and quality of life. The use of virtual reality, in which subjects experience real-life situations through a computer, creating an interface between machine and human being, is an example of the advances in this area, promoting access to a multidimensional and multisensory environment. Therefore, the aim of this study was to analyse the effectiveness of a virtual reality protocol in the rehabilitation of patients after phase II heart surgery. It is an experimental case study, with a longitudinal, prospective, descriptive section and a quantitative approach. The results obtained were: six-minute walk test; chair test; SF-36 total score, showing satisfactory progress compared to pre- and post-treatment. It is concluded that VR contributes to the rehabilitation of the patient under study.

Heritage interpretation should have artistic and creative components that attract the attention of visitors and keep their attention so that they can grasp the meaning that is intended to be transmitted. After applying different instruments in the initial stage, it was found that there are difficulties in the 6th year students of the Sociocultural Studies course in the municipality of Bahía Honda related to Heritage Interpretation, such as: little knowledge about the importance of heritage interpretation to achieve the integral management of heritage, difficulty in establishing territorial development strategies as future graduates of this course, texts that do not address the Cuban heritage reality to stimulate interest in heritage interpretation. For this reason, the objective of this research is to elaborate activities that allow the development of heritage interpretation in students.
