Work is a way of being in the world and has an important impact on people's lives. The modern world has demanded more and more from workers, whether through exhausting working hours, precarious working conditions, stress in the activities to be carried out, or insufficient pay. The repercussions of these demands have had important repercussions on workers' health and this area of research has grown with approaches that alert both workers and managers in order to reduce these impacts. This book, by addressing the work process, psychosocial aspects and the chronotype of workers in work environments and their repercussions on health, brings interesting reflections in the context of different categories of workers, such as higher education teaching nurses, military firefighters and gas station attendants. It shows the results of research into workers' health and provides important reflections that can result in proposals for changing the paradigms presented. The organizer, Roberta Zaninelli, is an enthusiastic student of workers' health Isabel C K O Cunha.

The purpose of this book is to arouse the reader's interest in the analyses presented involving various branches of law. Based on a compilation of several scientific articles especially focused on the areas of International Law, Criminal Procedural Law and Civil Law, the purpose of this work is to provoke questions that lead to reflection on the topics covered.The works contained in this book were the result of academic productions by the author during her law degree, some of which were produced in co-authorship with supervising professors.

Permanent Health Education is a powerful strategy for the development of health education actions within the SUS, instigating reflection on the scenarios in which professionals work. This study aims to analyze Permanent Health Education and its relationship with the development of comprehensive care at the Psychosocial Care Center, from the perspective of the workers. This is a descriptive and analytical study with a qualitative approach. The speeches were audiotaped in full with the prior authorization of the participants and respecting anonymity, the ethical principles recommended by Resolution 466/12 of the National Health Council and CONEP (National Research Ethics Committee). Minayo's (2010) thematic analysis was used and the following categories were drawn up: Conceptions and actions of permanent education in the Crateús CAPS; the second category: Humanization and Integrality of care, redesigning history and the third category: Challenges and possibilities of Permanent Education in the CAPS. The study brought to light the need for continuing education to strengthen the humanization policy, from the perspective of comprehensive care in care and management.

The couple is an extremely complex phenomenon and in order to understand it, it must be studied and considered from many different perspectives: historical, anthropological, philosophical, economic, social, political, emotional and passionate. In this book, focusing on the Western couple of our time (20th century and 21st century), we are going to privilege one of these points of view, one of these vertices, the emotional, the passionate, in particular, the role of love in the couple's bond. What do we define as well-being and discomfort in couple's bonds? We will explore the different ways in which love is conceived in our time and in our geographical area, the West.

The methodological strategies applied in Portuguese language reading and writing classes in linguistically heterogeneous contexts. The general objective is to analyze the methodological strategies used in the teaching and learning of Portuguese language reading and writing in linguistically heterogeneous contexts. The procedural method used was field research, which enabled data to be collected from those surveyed. The inductive method was used as a method of approach. The research is qualitative, focusing on theoretical and methodological strategies for teaching reading and writing in the Portuguese language classroom in contexts of linguistic heterogeneity. The theoretical framework was based on the principle of cooperative groupings, a methodological strategy for working with diversity in the classroom. The data collected was analyzed and interpreted to make it easier to understand and presented in a table, which showed that there is a need for more work on theoretical and methodological strategies to deal with linguistic diversity in the classroom. It was concluded that the cooperative method and strategies for reading and writing are fundamental to teaching.

The study sought to ascertain the impact of the current Brazilian economic crisis on the footwear industry in Nova Serrana, and the role of accountants in this scenario of instability. A field study was carried out, with a descriptive purpose, documentary and bibliographic data collection. The book contains qualitative and quantitative analyses. The data was collected using a questionnaire with objective questions, which was passed on to managers and accountants in the city's footwear industry. The conclusions show that Brazil is experiencing a strong economic crisis with little sign of improvement. In Nova Serrana, we can see reflections of the country's strong crisis, but to a lesser extent. The data collected shows that managers highly value the work done by accountants. They consider the information they provide to be important when making decisions and classify them as active in the company. The administrators and accountants remain cautious about the economic scenario in Nova Serrana and the majority classify it as undefined.

In a very direct way, we present a proposal for a guided activity that allows you to contextualize the development of skills EF03MA21, EF04MA21 and EF05MA20 (which can be adapted to cover other skills) with elementary school students, in the classroom, associating the media pencil, notebook, textbook, data show, smartphone, GeoGebra mobile and Mobizen, data show, smartphone, GeoGebra mobile and Mobizen, in order to encourage working with problem solving, making short explanatory videos, developing the skills set out in the BNCC and integrating the use of different technologies into teaching and learning processes in the school environment.

Down's Syndrome (DS) is a chromosomal abnormality caused by a genetic accident that also causes mental retardation and motor impairment. And the lack of stimuli is one of the main reasons that slows down the motor development of individuals with Mental Disability (MD), which on average is characterised by a two-year delay compared to intellectually normal children, mainly due to a lack of basic psychomotor activities, such as balance and global motor coordination. The aim of this study was to carry out a comparative analysis of the levels of functional and motor capacity gaps between two groups of special pupils, where the research problem was to identify whether the motor potential of individuals diagnosed with Down's Syndrome is considered inferior in relation to those with moderate mental disabilities. The methodological procedure used to carry out this work was the application of a battery of tests to assess psychomotor skills without any prior training.

This book presents the political, social and economic transformations intrinsic to the globalisation process. In this scenario, the phenomenon known as the Corporate University (CU) has emerged, whose mission is to train and develop human resources. The book reflects on the implementation of CUs in Brazil, covering the conflicts in higher education in general, the reasons for the creation of the corporate education modality and the alternative role that this CU can play. It is worth pointing out that the knowledge disseminated by the CUs does not include the human being in a broad formation. It is just another profitable strategy of the corporate world, according to which the term 'university' is favoured over 'training centre', trivialising knowledge and failing to stimulate in each worker an awareness of their role in society.

Faced with all the changes that are taking place every day, it is a challenge to keep up to date with labor and tax legislation. In this study, we used qualitative research and a case study to analyse the difficulties encountered. The research was carried out using a script and applied to two accounting professionals, one an accountant who works internally within companies and the other an office owner. These professionals answered questions about the main difficulties they encountered in implementing eSocial. The data analysis shows that the main difficulties encountered were related to processes within companies, in relation to changes and new routines. However, it is possible to see that the evolution of processes in the personnel department has caused some difficulties, but has brought benefits to the sector. Thus, the implementation of eSocial has presented difficulties, but it has also improved the sectors.

The present research work, whose theme is Public Investment Project Cycle paths and Quality of Life of the Elderly Municipality of Santiago de Surco - Lima - Peru -2016, is worth investigating because of the importance of public investment in cycle paths as part of multimodal transport, the importance of bicycle use for quality of life, and to achieve a healthy and sustainable city with an urban culture and cycling culture in the XXI century for human development in accordance with the provisions of the agreed development plans and strategic plans of the district. The Multiannual Investment Programming System (Invierte.pe) is an administrative system of the Ministry of Economy and Finance that serves local governments as a planning tool for the reduction of infrastructure gaps.in the municipality of Surco it has been observed that despite the budget increase in recent years there is a deficit of public investment in bicycle lane projects and promotion and encouragement of bicycle use,this study has identified the causes of the lack of public policies in infrastructure.

Brazilian institutional policy has an intriguing phenomenon: the lack of consistency in economic policies reflected in economic growth. Therefore, the aim of this study is to construct an interpretation of the Brazilian reality related to the interaction of political and economic institutions and to classify them, based on the results obtained over the years, into Extractive or Inclusive Institutions and their reflection on Brazilian Economic Growth. The studies begin with a historical investigation into the development of the political system in Brazil from the 16th century onwards, with the aim of understanding the foundations on which Brazilian institutions were built, the society to which these policies were directed and the way in which Brazil has replicated Iberian culture over the years. This was followed by a brief analysis of the Classical School, based on Growth Theory, which gave rise to the Institutionalist School, whose tools highlight the hypothesis proposed in this work.

The lungs are the vital organs of respiration. Their main function is to oxygenate the blood by placing the inspired air close to the venous blood in the pulmonary capillaries. While cadaver lungs are retracted, firm or hard to the touch, and change color, healthy lungs in living people are normally light, soft and spongy, and fully occupy the lung cavities. They are also elastic and retract to approximately one third of their original size when the chest cavity is opened. The lungs are separated from each other by the mediastinum. Intensive Care Units (ICUs) were created out of the need to care for critically ill patients. These patients could be submitted to invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV) due to changes in respiratory mechanics. The physiotherapeutic approach using the ZEEP maneuver in IMV patients aims to enhance airway hygiene, promote more effective aspiration and improve lung ventilation.

Interdisciplinary connections give new meaning to the learning space from the perspective of knowledge, as they create possibilities for reflection and action that can have an impact on the horizon of meaningful and innovative knowledge. In this way, interdisciplinary perspectivism contains at its core gender studies that are intertwined and premised on ethnic and cultural diversity, based on respect, interaction and the integration of subjects. This is equivalent to interdisciplinarity, which brings together knowledge and practices, regardless of the points at which they converge and/or diverge due to the existing connections, even within a context that limits the themes, as is the case with multidimensional knowledge, whose potential for diversity is not limited to the drawers of disciplinary knowledge, but also to the insertion of knowledge, through the culture of orality, of "old" people, because, "The art of narration is not confined to books, its epic vein is oral" (BOSI, 1994. p.85). ), so the narrator can draw wisdom and knowledge from his own experience and pass it on to those who listen.

For the German philosopher Martin Heidegger, "Setting Philosophy in Motion" is only possible through an event in the internal structures of the human being-there. Since "Setting Philosophy in Motion" is a passer-by on the paths of tradition, how do we reach it within the human being-there? It is from this perspective that we have appropriated Martin Heidegger's concept of "Introduction to Philosophy" in order to reflect on the problems surrounding the path of philosophy as a genuinely human activity, clarifying and enunciating it. Philosophy shows itself in orderly flows, so that, during its journey, it refuses and transposes certain concepts related to discursive criteria. This work, whose theme is "Putting philosophizing into motion: Introduction to Philosophy according to Martin Heidegger", seeks to read Heidegger's work, in particular the texts "What is This - Philosophy?", "Introduction to Philosophy", "The End of Philosophy", "Letter on Humanism", "Being and Time", "Heraclitus: the origin of Western thought", as well as a dialogue with specialized Heideggerian literature.

The aim of this book is to analyze, from a historical perspective, the evolution of the socio-administrative structures of the city of Pointe-Noire during the colonial period (1921-1958). It also makes a specific contribution to a re-reading of the city's founding date. The main question is: what historical factors influence the socio-administrative evolution of the city of Pointe-Noire during the colonial period from 1921 to 1958? The overall conclusion of this study is that this evolution took place in three stages: Pointe-Noire was first a district from 1921 to 1936. It then became a mixed commune on December 28, 1936. Finally, under the law of November 18, 1955, concerning municipal reorganization in the French overseas territories, Pointe-Noire became a fully-fledged commune.

The reader will find in this book the result of historical research, guided by the concepts of Weberian comprehensive sociology. It seeks a novel interpretation of an institution that served as a link between the Executive and the Judiciary from its effective creation in 1947. The Memoirs of the Ministers of Justice and the Reports of the Heads of Departments, Divisions and other Offices that made up the Ministry during the period studied help to provide a more accurate picture of the viscisitudes that took place in an entity of a constitutional State that has suffered from patrimonialism since its foundation in 1819. It is a different reading that is made with the support of the research of the New History that has taken shape in Colombia since the 1970s.

In the Ibero-American world, besides Xavier Zubiri, there is no other thinker known who has expressly dealt with deciphering and clarifying the ontological condition of the eidos. Obdulio Banda, faithful to his bold and daring style, ventures to investigate the ontological legitimacy of the eidos, and concludes that what is called eidos is nothing but a creation of the mind. He refutes the whole traditional conception of the eidos. His work is eminently argumentative, critical and original; it marks a turning point in the study of the eidos.

This paper analyzes the main characteristics of the Ecuadorian curriculum, as well as its shortcomings and problems to be addressed. Low birth weight is a world health problem that has a great impact on neonatal and infant mortality. In order to identify the factors associated with low birth weight in the municipality of Cárdenas, Cuba, an observational, analytical, epidemiological, case-control study was carried out. We worked with the total number of low birth weight live births in the municipality of Cárdenas during the year 2022. The short inter-gestational period variable was statistically significant and anemia, hypertensive disease during pregnancy, as well as inadequate weight gain were significant as risk factors. Low birth weight is the result of several events related to the pregnant woman before and after conception. Identifying the factors associated with low birth weight in pregnant women would reduce neonatal morbidity and mortality.

In this study we start from the assumption that, in Villa Corina in particular, there is a deep stigmatization applied by various social actors towards the neighbors who live there, who in turn share traits and characteristics that homogenize them; They inhabit a strongly devalued, discredited, historically feared and "avoidable" space; they generally have low educational levels, difficulties in accessing services and consumer goods, the impossibility of enjoying decent infrastructure conditions, labor precariousness and coexist in a space characterized by a high degree of erosion of social networks.

The aim of this work is to study the diversification of SME performance in Algeria by sector of activity. An empirical investigation attempts to offer operational evidence in this direction, focusing on the sectors; "Manufacturing Industries", "Building and Public Works", and "Import-Export" of a group composed of 80 SMEs in the city of Oran, for the period [2008-2012]. However, the results of a C.P.A. clearly show that these companies have the same characteristics within a given sector, as they are subject to the same institutional obstacles and environmental problems, thus limiting the promotion of their performance levels.

Immediate implantation (II) is performed before the alveolus has completely healed, in order to take advantage of the hemodynamic and healing changes brought about by avulsion to promote osseointegration. This is in contrast to delayed implantation (RI), which is performed once the bone tissue has fully consolidated. It is difficult to find a consensus in the current literature as to the superiority of one technique over the other, but after analysis of our results, we can conclude that II is preferable to IR, as it reduces soft tissue manipulation,limit hard tissue resorption and fill holes more rapidly after implant loading than in the delayed technique, of course if papillae preservation has been achieved during tooth extraction, hence periodontal extraction.

This book gathers the author's experiential testimony and his academic publications as a result of his research. It covers from how Resilience has helped him in his life to how he applied it in the scientific and work environment. His work experience has been vast in both the public and private sectors, holding positions as Operations Manager and in Production Management for 6 years. Currently he has more than 16 years working as Head of the Supply Department of the San José City Hall. His teaching career has led him to be a tutor, lecturer and final project partner in the MBA program at different private universities in Costa Rica. Currently he has more than 16 years of being a Professor of postgraduate courses in Administration and Education where he has taught around 160 courses with a total of almost 2100 students. He has lectured on resilience in Spain, Colombia, Mexico and Costa Rica. In addition, he has participated as a speaker at conferences at the College of Engineers and Architects of Costa Rica, as well as at the UNAM in Mexico. He is a collaborator of the Spanish Resilience Institute and Resilience Ambassador of FESI-UNAM.

Our work entitled "Meanings on a strategy of integral protection of early childhood" The case of Uruguay Crece Contigo which aims to generate knowledge about the Uruguay Crece Contigo Program as a mechanism of integral protection of early childhood in Uruguay. In this way, we ask ourselves what is happening with it, what impacts it is having, what it is generating in the beneficiaries, and in the proximity operators, from the voices of the subjects involved. In this sense, we seek to know to what extent the UCC policy collaborates in the establishment of an integrated early childhood protection system, posing the following research question: How does the Uruguay Grows with You Program mean as a comprehensive early childhood protection strategy?

The book, "Corporate Social Commitment", is an unusual scientific work due to the subject matter it deals with, related to the commitment assumed by a company to contribute to the sustainable economic development of a country through collaboration with its employees, their families, the local community and society as a whole, with the aim of improving the quality of life of its citizens in general, based on a set of open and transparent business practices based on ethical values and respect for employees, communities and the environment; Therefore, the aim is to ensure that the management of a business complies with the ethical, legal, commercial and public expectations that society has of a company. Although there is no single definition, it is generally understood that it is the commitment of a company to identify and responsibly manage its social, economic and environmental relations and impacts.

The Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) could represent the cornerstone for working on "Forms of social protection for workers in the coming decades" in the American region, as it can set goals to solve the problem of the free transit of workers through different countries of the continent by means of a legal system of regional integration that allows for the development and social protection of the workers involved, generating jobs accompanied by social protection and security, through the design of social policies and regulations, in order to promote social and human development with equity and inclusion to eradicate poverty and overcome inequalities in the region. One of the basic and main objectives in this proposal for a common and integrating market is the free movement of people, as well as the free movement of goods, services and capital, for which it is necessary to eliminate the obstacles that workers may have to emigrate to another member country of the integration agreement.

The methodology applied during 12 years in a cattle breeding herd in northwestern Argentina, located in the pedemontane forest of the Yungas, north of Salta, is described. The applied methodology allowed the evolution and productive growth, starting from a system with traditional management and low productive indexes, to a stabilized and efficient herd, with outstanding achievements in pregnancy and weaning indexes, and increase in weaning weight, well above the average of the region. The improvements obtained were based on the adequate intervention of sanitary-productive problems, planning, and progressive application of Fixed-Time Insemination and Early Weaning, improving reproductive management and incorporating genetics. The growth of the stock with its own rebreeding was favored, maintaining a closed herd. The application and intensity of the proposed methodology, together with qualified rural personnel highly experienced in cattle management in wild forests, allowed the growth of 110% in the stock of cows with an average pregnancy rate of 91%, and an average weaning rate of 78% in the last 8 years, with an average increase of 30 kgs/calf at weaning.
