Forensic practice is an increasingly relevant specialisation of psychology in our country. Many people think that the world of work and the world of psychology have very little to do with each other, however, history shows us that both are closely related. Taking into account the large number of people who are affected day by day in their working environment, the consequences for their emotional stability and development, as well as the social and personal repercussions of reports in the workplace, we took on the challenge of producing this work. This work is one of the first instruments oriented towards these characteristics and has been the result of the compilation of the work, interest and commitment of a group of professionals with extensive and accredited experience in the field of the world of work and expert practice. It is hoped that this guide of good practices will become a useful reference for many professionals and citizens, which will undoubtedly have to be improved in future editions.

Conditional release consists of the partial suspension of the deprivation of liberty, during a probationary period which, if favourable, determines the definitive extinction of the rest of the custodial sentence that the convicted person has left to serve. It is regulated in articles 13 to 17 of the Penal Code, and article 14 of the aforementioned legal body establishes a prohibition for repeat offenders, who are prevented from accessing the conditional release regime. This legal provision is considered to be in high violation of constitutional principles, such as the principle of equality, the principle of non bis in idem and the principle of culpability, which will be analysed in this paper. This restriction on repeat offenders has been and continues to be controversial among doctrinarians, given its clear violation of constitutional principles such as equality before the law, non bis in idem and the principle of criminal culpability. The aim of this research is to assess whether these principles are violated.

The hospitalised patient with depressive features requires defined strategies such as pharmacology, interventions in family dynamics, psychoeducation, psychotherapy and occupational therapy so that he/she can develop his/her abilities in the best possible social context. Physical exercise as a tool for rehabilitation facilitates the patient's early recovery and maintains his or her physical, cognitive and social abilities in good condition. Therefore, a methodological proposal is presented for the implementation of a physical exercise programme that provides strategies to favour the social reintegration of hospitalised patients and that is accessible to the professional who participates in rehabilitation programmes.

Inclusive education seen as a "key strategy to achieve education for all" comprises a series of guidelines that cover various spheres in society, ranging from political guidelines to classroom practices, and which have a direct impact on the interaction of people with disabilities with their environment, hence the need to propose new dynamics within educational institutions that provide the necessary tools for the full educational development of people with disabilities. In this way, from the area of Social Sciences and more specifically from the discipline of History, a network of possibilities is created in the formation of historical thinking from "oral history" with the construction of life stories, where students with special educational needs (SEN) are constituted as an active subject in the teaching process by carrying out from their experiences and in the company of their family, the construction of their life story learning in the process the basic concepts of the historical discipline.

A fundamental aspect of the participatory process is planning, given its importance in sustainable development, constituting an instrument of progressive and continuous change towards better levels in the quality of life of the inhabitants of a territory, taking care to improve development capacities (natural resources, human resources, productive resources and social capital), in order to ensure permanent growth. Local development implies unleashing a process promoted and assumed by all the actors and individuals of a territory; it is oriented to optimise and rationalise the human potential, the institutional, environmental, social, economic and cultural resources of a territory, in a balanced and sustainable way. To this end, it will be important to develop an adequate definition of strategic objectives and prioritisation of actions and projects that allow the use of existing resources in a concerted manner between the different public and civil society actors, as well as coordination between the different levels of government.

The present work analyzes the beauty stereotypes that are concurrent in an Ecuadorian micro story of the writer Eliécer Cárdenas in the work "La Incompleta Hermosura". And that by means of the general objective raised will identify them. As for the methodology used, a documentary bibliographic compilation is presented, with a qualitative approach. In conclusion, what was achieved with this research was to prove that stereotypes are negative and that they can also be discovered through stories. For this reason, at the end of the work, a proposal has been made consisting of an academic essay, in which all those factors that are damaging to the social environment will be detailed. All this for acquiring an unnecessary consumerist equivocal prototype. On the other hand, it places humanity in a real time and space, highlighting the real needs of the new era.

The reader will note that the issue of security has been approached from eight dimensions: 1) democratic, 2) private, 3) regional, 4) urban, 5) national, 6) social, 7) public and 8) citizen. The book approaches the prospective of public security administration from a meta-analytical logic in order to anticipate the rule of law, crime prevention, justice and rehabilitation.

The purpose of this research is to verify how the Dilma Rousseff government intended to make Brazil an Educating Homeland, its trends and directions. The theoretical framework of this research is made up of documents such as the National Education Plan 2014-2024 and the Education Development Plan, which comprise laws and opinions directed at Brazilian secondary education - from 1996 to 2015, with an emphasis on the first and second terms in office of Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff. Therefore, the methodological procedures used have a qualitative approach, being exploratory with a tendency to analyse the data deductively. In this way, the technical procedures are carried out using documents and drawn up from materials that have received analytical treatment. As a result, these positions are aimed at building a cooperative federation, for the effective establishment of the Education System provided for in Article 214 of the 1988 Federal Constitution. Through programmes aimed at training teachers and headmasters, as well as ENEM Digital. However, these proposals are not in line with the Ministry of Education.

Brown rot and witches' broom are important cocoa diseases in the south of Bahia. The main form of control consists of using resistant cultivars. However, many of the cocoa varieties grown in Bahia (local cultivars) have not been improved for resistance to these diseases. It was therefore necessary to ascertain what levels of resistance could be found in these materials and to indicate future breeding actions. The aim of this study was to characterise local cultivars called Pará, parazinho and comum, based on morpho-agromomic characteristics of the fruit and resistance to these diseases. The cultivars are therefore promising in terms of resistance, and the genetic factor is decisive in terms of their potential for use in future breeding work aimed at resistance to these diseases and fruit characteristics.

A buffer unit dedicated to suspected COVID-19 patients has been created in our healthcare facility in order to optimize hospital management of patients prior to confirmation of SARS-Cov2 infection and thus reduce mortality related to SARS-Co2 infection or other differential diagnoses. This is a retrospective study including patients who died in a buffer zone for suspected COVID-19 infection, with progression to death during the period January 20, 2021 to January 20, 2022. A total of 1,039 patients were hospitalized for suspected COVID-19, of whom 32 (3%) died. The mean age of the included population was 72 ± 14 years. Comorbidities were dominated by arterial hypertension (50%) and diabetes (15.6%). The main functional signs were fever (76.2%) and dyspnoea (71.4%). 84.4% of deceased patients were confirmed as COVID-19, with severe forms on admission in 72.4% of cases. For non-COVID-19 patients, death was mainly due to neurological distress or cardiogenic shock.

Analysing ADI 3510, more specifically Justice Marco Aurélio's vote in the case, showed the impact of these two characteristics of rhetoric: the doubt that hung over the issue (which could not be readily answered in the legal sphere) could be circumvented using arguments from spheres other than the legal sphere, thus creating a decision that was not certain and absolute, but plausible. This is an exemplary case of the importance of rhetoric today, after the angry criticism it has received throughout history.

The environment in which we live is constantly changing, caused by siltation, flooding and pollution, whether natural or man-made. In order to minimise the damage caused by man, a diagnosis was carried out in the municipality of Itaara RS to assess environmental damage, which was georeferenced using a GPS signal receiver. After identifying points of pollution in the diagnosis, improvement activities were recommended to be carried out in the municipality, thus constituting a Technical Environmental Education project, which began in May 2007. Initially, environmental awareness talks were held at the Euclides Pinto Ribas Municipal School in the town, on the problem of deterioration and pollution caused by man. Once the list of problems in the municipality had been established, work began on environmental workshops, selective rubbish collection and the reuse of dry rubbish. These activities were developed together with the local community and prepared by academics and professors from the Federal University of Santa Maria linked to the International Centre for Environmental Projects - CIPAM.

The suitability of specific anaesthetic protocols for pigs, as well as obtaining efficient analgesia in the trans-operative period, are fundamental issues to be discussed and better developed, given that these are the animals of choice not only for training in laparoscopy but also for various scientific experiments. This book is about an experiment carried out on domestic pigs, divided into two groups, where both received the same protocol of pre-anaesthetic medications, induction and general anaesthetic, with one group differing from the other only by the epidural injection of morphine. In this way, the behaviour of the animals' main physiological parameters was compared between the groups, with results that favoured the use of mofine as a regional analgesic. This book is interesting and even indispensable for professionals in the scientific and health fields, whether they are researchers, anaesthetists or surgeons, who aim to improve their knowledge in this area, bringing improvements in animal welfare and, consequently, a greater guarantee of good results.

This book seeks to identify and discuss the socio-environmental impacts of the introduction of pine tree cultivation in large areas of the municipality of Canela/RS. The study's main objective is to identify perceptions of the socio-environmental impacts resulting from the introduction of pine tree cultivation in the municipality of Canela/RS. The specific objectives are: (a) to describe the reality found in the landscape; (b) to compare pictures of the period before and after the introduction of monoculture tree cultivation; (c) to understand how the movement to introduce pine cultivation arises in the search for sustainable development and (d) to investigate the perception of social actors regarding the socio-environmental impacts of the introduction of this monoculture. Among the impacts found are pollution of water resources, damage to health, risks to food sovereignty, an increase in the rural exodus, damage to social and economic activities, loss of biodiversity and alterations to the landscape, among others. The methodology was organised in the form of a case study with a qualitative and participatory approach, and centred on the perceptions of the social actors involved.

Optimism, perseverance, patience should always be your weapons. The pain of others must be your pain. Not to carry a title to boast of it, it is to carry love in it to serve everyone and with all the dedication and respect. It is to love and respect your colleagues. Not to confuse imagination with knowledge, not to confuse error with judgment, it is the truth of deep and true love for the human being; it is to carry the Bible in every moment of your life.

Our brief addresses the consequences of the construction of the Kribi Industrial Port Complex, located near the cultural landscape of the Chutes de la Lobé. This landscape was nominated for inclusion on the World Heritage List in 2011, because it contains natural and cultural elements that interact with each other in an almost symbiotic way, since here nature is not just a physical element, but a more dynamic entity that influences different aspects of community life through their traditions and culture, which is the source of their identity. The site is also home to rare and protected species of wildlife, such as sea turtles. These different components motivated the Cameroon Ministry of Culture to place the site on UNESCO's tentative list in 2006. However, there are clear threats to the integrity and preservation of the cultural landscape of the Lobé Falls. Cultural identity of local communities.

In this work, we will organise historical data and carry out a statistical survey of this data, based on works on trigonometry from the Department of Mathematics - CCT-UEPB. Another purpose is to give value to the history of trigonometry, creating this material to serve as a reference for those interested in this subject. We will take a historical look at trigonometry, from its emergence - what were the main needs for the development of this branch of maths, who were the first people to develop this study and how some of them treated the study of trigonometry. We will also look at some of the main mathematicians who contributed directly to the development of trigonometry.

Faced with the social, moral and political deterioration of the present, there is a call to think about reforms to our ways of being and living together in the world. In this article we propose the transition from a biological immunology to a general immunology stimulated by different social agents and present a methodology towards a citizenship understood as immunological, general and social. We stick mainly to giving a propositional horizon of the Exercise, a category in Peter Sloterdijk that we use in this work as a practical philosophy, and we inquire into the possibilities that this training has as a driving force for world change. This Psycho-Political-Aesthetics, based on the notion of citizenship, is presented and tangible in a social body, which stimulates this mass intelligence as a method and which is founded as a general immunological agent for overcoming the current conflict. In this way, we put forward various recommendations on what to exercise and what skills to cultivate in order to face the present century and its crises.

In this book, the first part presents an approach on Science and Science Teacher Education. In the second part, we present a case study conducted at ISCED-Huambo with interns and their supervisors in the framework of initial science teacher education. The research was conducted using mixed methodology. Data were collected through questionnaire surveys and documentary analysis. The results show that the perceptions of supervisors and prospective science teachers on the role assigned to pedagogical supervision in the initial training of science teachers privilege an emphasis on monitoring pedagogical supervision, although they also reveal reflective and humanistic concerns, raise questions of coherence between training policies advocated in legislation and training practices.

This research project focuses on social representations of disability, and more specifically on the construction of disability by people with disabilities. Indeed, disability and the representations made of it within certain social assistance institutions and through certain research studies, highlight certain prejudices and stereotypes underlying our attitudes and behaviour towards a category of people on the basis of psychological, physical or sensory problems. Thus, by collecting the discourses of people with disabilities, within which significant themes categorizing their images have been identified and analyzed, five types of images characterize their "self-images" as "disabled people": those linked to their body, to their social functioning, to their social relationships, to their aspirations and to their indignation in the face of social treatment. As a result, their construction of disability is dominated by "pathos and lack", categories that dominate "the representation of the other". On the other hand, affective images and indignation denote a certain desire for autonomy and social inclusion.

This work presents an alternative to water scarcity problems in various parts of the world, especially in arid and semi-arid regions where water with high salt levels predominates. Hydroponic cultivation has made it possible to produce lettuce using water with high saline concentrations to formulate the nutrient solution. This highlights the importance of hydroponic cultivation in terms of the possibility of providing decent work and, consequently, a better quality of life for the inhabitants of these regions.

This work asks the interlocutors for the wisdom to identify that there is no complete knowledge of the object studied here, but rather a conception of the world with which the agents may be interacting and which, at the same time, transform the shared social environment. It is not our intention to produce something that appears to be the truth; on the contrary, we want to narrate a possibility that allows us to visualise the different motives that cohere in the trajectory of those who share the phenomenon, those who experience their existential anguish and become entangled in the fetish of the market: the completeness of the self, equality, identity, the idealised body.

The rational use of natural resources is increasingly arousing the interest of public and private managers with regard to agricultural and industrial activities, leading to an intensification of studies that incorporate environmental planning, assessing and diagnosing the state of environments in an attempt to minimise possible impacts caused by their exploitation. This work was carried out in the municipality of Itaqui - RS, Brazil, which has large areas of floodplains where flood-irrigated rice is grown. In the 2013/14 agricultural year, the municipality had one of the largest areas planted with rice, accounting for approximately 10% of production in the state of RS. Since rice crops are irrigated by surface flooding, they have a water use efficiency of approximately 40%, which justifies the importance of knowing the qualitative and quantitative aspects of water management for the development of the crop, as well as characterising the type of soil in which it is produced. Thus, based on methodologies that use remote sensors and geographic information systems (GIS), it is possible to estimate the starting point of the crop, as well as its development until harvest.

Nowadays, when we talk about the expansion of Islam or the famous Muslim kingdoms of medieval times, we usually refer to al-Andalus or the Middle East, but the importance of the Mohammedan kingdoms of sub-Saharan Africa for the crescent moon often goes unnoticed. The latter, however, will be the focus of this study, which will analyse the progressive expansion of this religion south of the Sahara and how this process influenced their societies from a political, social, religious, artistic and economic point of view. It will therefore give voice to the sub-Saharan world, in the form of an exposition of its past, which has most influenced its present, and how this Islam, far from replacing the pre-existing cultures, blended with them, giving rise to a peculiar way of living and practising this faith, which persists to this day, being the main distinguishing feature of these societies in the south of West Africa.
