The orientation of the long bones (humerus, ulna, radius, femur, tibia and fibula) comes from a detailed analysis and practical training of osteological knowledge. However, depending on the condition of the bone piece, it will be necessary to resort to non-conventional anatomical indicators that allow an adequate lateralisation, in case the bony remnant is presented as a segment or fragment. In contrast to recognised authors in this field, and a detailed osteological description, criteria for the lateralisation of long bones in upper and lower limbs are detailed, in addition to the inclusion of metacarpals and metatarsals as long bones, whose application serves in forensic, archaeological and academic contexts, forming part of the procedures for human identification.

A study is presented on the programme of the discipline of General Chemistry for the training of the Education professional in Chemistry. This is a qualitative study, using the discipline's syllabus, regulatory documents, minutes of meetings, results of methodological activities and interviews with teachers from the discipline's teaching staff. Among the results obtained in the analysis, we highlight the elements to be taken into account for the characterisation and assessment of the discipline's programme and how these are positioned in terms of the quality of the professional in chemistry education with a developmental approach.Keywords: General Chemistry - Teaching discipline - Curriculum - Teacher training - Developmental approach.

Social dialogue is a process of communication, negotiation and cooperation between employers, workers and governments, aimed at reaching joint decisions on work-related issues. The key players in social dialogue are employers, workers and governments, although other stakeholders may also be involved. The objectives of social dialogue include collective bargaining, conflict resolution, the formulation of social and economic policies, the protection of workers' rights and the creation of fair working conditions. It can take different forms and take place at different levels, from the company to the national and international levels. Social dialogue offers many advantages, including promoting social peace, improving productivity and ensuring fair working conditions. However, it also faces challenges such as lack of trust between the parties and power imbalances.

The monograph for the first time scientifically substantiates the method of using boars of the Pietren breed in the selection process of breeding pigs of the Belarusian black-and-brown breed and the system of hybridization in the production of pork on an industrial basis through the creation of animals of new genotypes (1/2BCh1/2P and 3/4BCh1/4P), which have increased meatiness, good reproductive, fattening qualities and stress-resistant in the conditions of industrial technology. The use of boars of Pietren breed in combination with animals of Belarusian black-breed allows to offer production of pigs with increased meat (meat yield 58,52-61,68 %) and fattening qualities (feed consumption per unit of gain 2,9-3,6 feed units). The aim of this study was to analyze and compare the potential of using rice husk ash (RHA) and rice husk silica (RHS) in separate mixtures, as a partial cement replacement material and also as a cement reduction material in different concrete mixes. To this end, a reference mix was produced and the partial cement replacements and reductions were carried out at different levels. The analyses made it possible to identify which of the two pozzolans studied performed best in terms of axial compressive strength, water absorption, void ratio, specific mass and concrete slump. The study showed that the higher the cement replacement rate for one of the pozzolans, the greater the consistency acquired by the concrete, losing its fluidity. The mixtures differed little in terms of void ratio, specific mass and water absorption. The mix that achieved the highest axial compressive strength was S2 (10% SCA), at 91 days of age, with 25.23% more strength than the reference concrete. However, the S6 mix (10% SCA+10% reduction) was the most successful at replacing and reducing the quantity.

OBJECTIVES: The general objective is to show society and managers in general the relevant impacts on professional and personal life for those who decide to work in the third sector, whether on a contracted or voluntary basis. Specifically, to show the relevant impacts for those who decide to work in the third sector; to compare the 1st sector, 2nd sector and 3rd sector and to present the results of the lack of quality of life at work.

The general aim of this study was to investigate the forms of cultural management practised in the border municipalities of Jaguarão, Brazil and Rio Branco, Uruguay. The aim was to identify the existence of cultural management and which practices would be best suited to the expectations of local populations and their influence on the lives of these communities. The main motivation for working on this topic was the search for effective results and new initiatives in the area of cultural management, with the aim of improving the understanding of public administrations and the community about existing policies in the sector. To address this issue, a study of the area in question was carried out, taking into account historical aspects that have contributed to shaping the region from a cultural, economic and human development point of view. Considering experiences such as UNESCO's Creative Cities Programme and actions carried out in European and Latin American countries, it was possible to exemplify actions that could easily be carried out in the region under study. With the content presented, it can be concluded that there is still a long way to go to implement effective cultural management.

With the increasing consumption of natural resources worldwide, there are major environmental concerns. This research aims to analyze concrete mixtures with residual construction and demolition aggregate (RCD) through axial compressive strength tests. The concretes studied were molded with the replacement of two levels of residual aggregate, cement was also partially replaced by two types of pozzolan in binary and ternary mixtures, in which 25% of cement was replaced by rice husk ash (CCA) and 25% by fly ash (CV) for the binary mixtures, while for the ternary mixtures the replacement levels were (15+10)% (CCA+CV). For the axial compressive strength tests, cylindrical specimens measuring 10x20cm were molded and cured in a humid chamber for a period of 28 days. The results showed that in relation to the reference mix (without substitutions), the concrete with pozzolans, both in binary and ternary mixes, obtained axial compressive strengths very close to the reference, while the mixes molded with substitutions of aggregates only resulted in axial compressive strengths very close to the reference.

A journey through Latin American muralism illustrates the different characteristics of the paintings on the walls and their correct denomination, and therefore the difference between urban art and public art is discussed, making a quick passage through the history of wall painting to understand both concepts in depth, since muralism is located within public art, but we cannot speak of a revolutionary muralism prior to 1922, when the meaning of mural painting was changed and the foundations of what muralism is today were laid. The study reveals that the teachers interviewed have difficulties with the concept of Geographical Education. They have traditional conceptions of geography teaching, where conceptual content is fragmented and distant from the surrounding reality, which leads to their understanding being fragile, superficial and of little use to students. Teachers' conceptions of the concept of Geography Education and the desirable characteristics of Geography teaching are only partly compatible with the aims of Geography Education. What's more, they are poorly suited to helping to achieve Geographical Education, which goes beyond simply teaching students Geography, but aims to shape them as people and citizens. It therefore requires teaching for positive transformation, both personal and environmental.

This book was based on a study of the level of satisfaction with Quality of Life at Work (QWL) carried out with employees of the Office of Communication and Image of the Mozambican Tax Authority, with the intention of analysing how QWL contributed to changing the behaviour of the employees of this institution by using the QWL assessment model proposed by Richard Walton as a reference. Furthermore, this book contributes to the understanding of what QWL is in public institutions through the use of Richard Walton's model, emphasising the importance of extending this research to other organisations, given that this topic is less known and very new in existing ones in Mozambique. Investment in the human capital of organisations is essential, as it brings a huge return in the form of quality and productivity.

The aim of this book is to understand the inclusion of men in early childhood education, given that this stage of basic education is extremely feminized. Through bibliographical research, we first seek to understand how the first stage of basic education has become a predominantly female field of activity, and then how and why men have been occupying these jobs. In this way, we set out to deconstruct an already naturalized idea of nurseries and pre-schools being exclusively female spaces, as well as highlighting gender relations, exclusion and hierarchization in this field. Through the research, we found that the changes that have taken place in early childhood education in recent decades, from the promulgation of the 1988 Federal Constitution to the approval of a new Law of Guidelines and Bases (LDB/96), have affected the status of this stage, which is now considered part of basic education. As a result, men have entered the profession more frequently, although it is still quite small.

Watershed services play an elemental role in the country's heritage, and this in turn maintains the ecology and the very life of living beings, and as we humans are entities governed by a regulated society, we are obliged to preserve it, giving rights to nature, which for the first time is stipulated in the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador. The State will guarantee the recovery and conservation of nature in order to have access to quality water, this framed in the legal sphere, applying what concerns the protection and care of the basins such as the Organic Law of Water Resources, Uses and Development of Water, its Regulations and others, obliging the appointing authority to create preservation policies with an economic focus, with extreme sanctions in the case of non-compliance of activities where human beings compromise the quality and quantity in the sources of water recharge; because of this, the most important impact on the country's economy is at stake.

One of the main goals of any municipal government should be efficiency during the process of budget execution of investment projects, which contributes to the welfare of the population and favors poverty reduction. This issue urged to conduct the present research, whose objective was to determine the degree of relationship between the personal qualities of provincial mayors and the effectiveness in the process of budget execution of investment projects of the municipalities of the Puno region in the period 2016 - 2017. The research work corresponds to the quantitative approach, it is of non-experimental type and descriptive - correlational design. As a study sample, the three largest provinces of the Puno region were considered: San Roman, Puno and El Collao. For data collection, a questionnaire was used, addressed to the workers of the municipalities and the inhabitants of each province, which was systematized in percentage tables and figures.

The shortage of natural, non-renewable raw materials and the large amount of waste generated by the construction industry have worried authorities, governments, educational institutions and society in general and encouraged them to look for solutions to reuse these materials. One alternative that has been widely studied is the incorporation of this material into concrete, which is not only an alternative for reducing environmental impacts, but also an economic possibility. In order to contribute to and further leverage knowledge on the subject, this study was carried out with the aim of studying the properties and characteristics of concretes made with recycled coarse aggregate and the addition of rice husk ash as a pozzolanic material. Five substitutions plus a reference concrete were used to produce the concretes. The substitutions were both natural coarse aggregate for recycled coarse aggregate (25% and 50%) and cement for rice husk ash (20%). With the concrete in its fresh state, its workability was assessed. In the hardened state, its axial compressive strength and modulus of deformation were assessed.

The work presented in this report falls within the framework of Machine Learning where we seek to model a non-linear system and to identify online the parameters of the model considered. This model is developed in a reproducing kernel Hilbert space (RKHS). These so-called representation or black box models are linear with respect to their parameters. They have had great success in identifying nonlinear systems using kernel methods.

Antioxidants and their effects on human health have gained great importance in recent years. Natural antioxidants can be endogenous, those present in the human body; or exogenous, those found in external sources, such as plant-based foods, and absorbed through the consumption of these products. Studies have shown the efficacy of natural antioxidants for human health by maintaining cellular antioxidant potential. These antioxidants can act by different mechanisms to inhibit or reduce the rate of oxidation, which can be measured by assessing their antioxidant activity. Bioactive compounds, secondary metabolites produced in plants, exert antioxidant action and are present in a wide variety of fruit and vegetables.

This book is in two main parts. The first deals with a great French intellectual, the sociologist Pierre Bourdieu, who is considered one of the most important sociologists in the field of modern sociology. The second part deals with the usefulness of art in modern society, through the genius of the image and its influence on people, and the cultural function of television. Hence, both parts of this book deal with the role of the intellectual and the symbolic influence of his ideas on the course of society and its development. And since, in the words of Edgar Morin, the intellectual "is one who works on ideas, and particularly on ideas of human, social and moral importance", we can say that the role of the intellectual is very important in modern society.

Education has undergone changes over time. It is necessary to think about and address current issues. The book is divided into three productions arising from my concerns as a "teacher-student". The first article, entitled MEN IN CHILDREN'S EDUCATION: AN ANALYSIS OF THE DISSERTATIONS (2013 - 2016) ON THE BDTD PLATFORM, presents masculinities in children's education. Thus, we sought to raise the following problem: How do scientific productions support male teaching work in early childhood education? The second, entitled BETWEEN PRESERVATION AND AWARENESS: REFLECTIONS ON THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL PCNS TO THE EARLY YEARS OF EDUCATION, seeks to analyze how the National Curriculum Parameters - environment portray environmental education in the early years of elementary school. Finally, the third production, AND NOW, HOW TO CONSOLIDATE THE PEDAGOGICAL POLICY PROJECT? THE IMPORTANCE OF THE EDUCATIONAL SUPERVISOR aims to investigate the challenges faced by educational supervisors in consolidating the Pedagogical Political Project, considering their responsibilities and attributions, as well as the legal provisions.

The so-called "internship and residency" in initial teacher training is a period of deepening and integration of the entire training pathway of the aspiring teacher. Internships are the central pedagogical axis of initial teacher training. The trainee's status as a trainee does not imply abandoning his or her status as a student; however, the student teacher, as a trainee, is not just another student. The trainee assumes responsibility for a set of actions, which are no longer those of a student, but are the actions of the teacher. Internships, as a formative instance, place the practitioner in that interstice between being a student and being a teacher.

The aim of this research is to discuss Brazil's recent political history through the weekly magazine Veja, published by Editora Abril. The focus of the investigation is on the 1989 presidential campaign around the representations of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, with the aim of presenting the importance of studying the electoral fact through the periodical press; analyzing how Veja magazine reflected the electoral process and the various types of representations about the PT candidate, and understanding the Brazilian press and its historical role, seeking to delineate its ideological partisan character. Nine magazines were analyzed, taking 10 May to 24 December 1989 as a starting point, some of which were organized into tables that served as a guide for the research. Based on these methodological procedures, it was possible to obtain reflective results on perceptions of the influence of the press (Veja) in the 1989 electoral process, establishing a broad notion of the partisan nature of Veja magazine.

This is a scientific paper aimed at researching the impact of the Judicial Reform on the judicial crisis, preferably on the issue of slowness in the provision of judicial services. The work will analyse whether there has been a positive impact of EC 45/04, which carried out the Reform of the Judiciary. Consequently, the Public Judicial Policy called the National Judicial Policy for the Appropriate Treatment of Conflict Resolution (PJNTACI), regulated by Resolution 125/2010 of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) and the positivisation of self-composition in the New Code of Civil Procedure (Law 13.105/15), regulations that are considered complementary to the Reform of the Judiciary, will be verified. The investigation into the impact of the reform was carried out in the Brasília common court, the Court of Justice of the Federal District and Territories (TJDFT). To this end, statistical data provided by the TJDFT from 1999 to 2018 was used. It should also be noted that data from the CNJ was used to complement the study's analysis.

The aim of this study is to analyse the main schools or currents of economic thought that have reflected on technological change from the perspective of development. Documentary review was used as a methodological tool. It is pointed out that the economics of technological change studied from different schools or currents of economic thought allows, on the one hand, to observe the variety and richness of the arguments, although on the other hand, it expresses the complexity of Economic Science itself and in particular of the technological phenomenon. It is concluded that the discursive practices of the currents of economic thought on technological change analysed are influenced by the development perspective, i.e. by the level of development reached by the countries to which these currents belong and the authors who promote them.

The only pretension of this essay is to show the existence of a living God by reflecting on time. The course of the essay deals with various philosophers, from pre-Socratic times to contemporary philosophy; but it dwells particularly on Kant, because he invalidated the proofs about the divine existence, and I use his own judgements to show that he could have enthroned by reason, not reason itself, but the eternal God.
