The aim of the project in question is to develop a portable torsion test bench that is versatile, robust, meets a wide torque range and guarantees operational safety. Its application is in periodic checks where there is a need to monitor and control tightening variables, as well as in corrective and preventive maintenance of tightening tools. Initially, a study was carried out on the assembly processes of bolted joints and their applications in industry, then the concepts of maintenance and reliability of a tightening tool were studied, followed by data analysis with the aim of reducing the costs resulting from failures in tightening tools, increasing productivity and the useful life of the equipment, which can only be achieved through proper maintenance with reliable and practical equipment that is capable of assisting in testing and collecting torques.

The loss of the meaning of existence, the feeling that life is not worth living, the absence of goals worth striving for, the death of God, can all be summed up in one word: nihilism. The particular relationship that this experience acquires with the disposition to suicide has been studied from different points of view: philosophical, psychiatric, sociological, etc. In Nietzsche's posthumous manuscripts we find various annotations that deal with the problem of nihilism fundamentally from two different perspectives: as a historical event and as a personal event, as a crisis "in media vita" of Nietzsche himself. In them one can trace an attempt to overcome nihilism, revisiting the meaning of suicide as an unfeasible solution, and the meaning of reproductive sexuality as a key to the resolution of the nihilistic crisis.

Our study is interested in understanding the influence of Multilateral Organisations (MA) guidelines on the formulation of educational policies and their impact on school management in Mozambique. Based on the structuring of a global agenda for education (DALE, 2004), the MOs have endeavoured to articulate broad recommendations that can be applied to the most diverse realities. Like other peripheral countries, Mozambique has made education a fundamental part of the country's economic development. In recent years, the process of transforming complete primary schools (EPCs) into cycle 1 secondary schools (ESG1) has been a reference in this endeavour. EPCs are schools whose teachers must have grade 10 qualifications (grade) + 1 year of teaching to teach from grade 1 to grade 7, while the 1st cycle secondary schools (ESG1), from grade 8 to grade 10, have the following requirements: teachers with grade 12 level + 1 year of teaching or higher education in teaching areas; existence of libraries and practice areas for Physical Education (MEC, 2013).

Non-invasive ventilation (NIV) has become the technique of choice for assisting COPD patients in severe exacerbation. However, the success of NIV in these patients remains relatively uncertain, and the factors predicting success are not known. A total of 35 patients were enrolled in this study. The mean age of our patients was 61 ± 10 years, with a male predominance. Predictive factors for transfer to intensive care were: cyanosis, heart rate above 110 b/min, signs of respiratory encephalopathy and poor adaptation to NIV. Length of hospital stay was longer in subjects with confusion on admission, hypercapnia. Positive expiratory pressure set at a pressure level ¿ 5 statistically significantly shortens hospital stay. Factors predictive of NIV failure in patients hospitalized for severe COPD exacerbation were: the presence of cyanosis, tachycardia and the presence of neurological signs, as well as poor adaptation to NIV.

To establish relationships between hospitality and organisational communication, on an inter-personal level, in the gastronomic world, in three restaurants of different categories in the cities of Porto Alegre and São Paulo. These relationships range from interpersonal communication to relationships, posture, friendliness and professional development. This case study seeks to reveal whether the gastronomic enterprises make use of these resources for the development of those directly involved in the issue, in the personal, professional and organisational spheres. If they do, how is this done? What results are achieved? Is it done intentionally or instinctively?

This book takes a comparative approach between the CIM process technology and the conventional process technology adopted by a company that manufactures plastic injection moulds. To this end, a history of the evolution of process technology is developed, emphasising the three industrial revolutions. Considerations are given to the production process of plastic injection moulds and the elements that make up CIM process technology, with a focus on tooling. A qualitative comparison is made between the stages of the process technology used by the tool shop surveyed and the CIM process technology, pointing out the advantages and disadvantages of its hypothetical application. The paper concluded that in the stages of product design, machining of functional and support components, CIM process technology offers relevant computerised tools that could enable the tooling shop to produce moulds with complex geometries, but it does have some considerable disadvantages. In the polishing and assembly stages of a mould, CIM process technology does not offer relevant tools that justify its adoption.

This book contains a study on the LO 1/2004, in its vocation to provide comprehensive protection to victims of gender violence, as well as their dependents, from a prescriptive unitary vision, both the problem and the court with exclusive jurisdiction to better administration of effective judicial protection, as well as the necessary precautionary measures to provide such protection.

The present work is approached from demographic (austere population density), historical (norms and values of saving or waste), economic (competitions for scarce water resources), political (representativeness of citizen demands), structural (waste capitals), cultural (availability beliefs), cognitive (environmental awareness), media (mediatized opinion) and community (identity and spatial appropriation) domains with the purpose of modeling the determinants of a water services security agenda.

Cambodia today is a predominantly agrarian, lower-middle-income developing country that has only relatively recently joined the group of potentially high-growth Asian economies. It has followed a complex and contradictory path of modernization from French protectorate to independence and joining the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), repeatedly changing its political regime and social system. The author examines the characteristic features of its development, showing the role of technological progress in it. The theoretical framework of the study covers the key tenets of development economics and economic growth theory. For econometric analysis we used, first of all, a general growth model that takes into account not only physical and human capital, but also time as an event space of creative economic activity. It makes it possible to compare the total factor efficiency with the world level. In addition to considering the macro-level development of Cambodia's economy, the author for the first time attempted to model the growth of its manufacturing industry on the basis of available statistical data.

The objective of this research is to propose a didactic model to conceive the education in values, as a content in the initial formation of the Bachelor in Education; Pedagogy-Psychology. From the historical-logical study, the characteristics and regularities for the initial training of this professional for values education are analyzed. The phases through which the process of construction of the model went through are also included, determining a phase of diagnosis of the current state of values education in the initial training of the Bachelor in Education; Pedagogy-Psychology; a phase of selection of the contents of values education for its inclusion in the initial training of the Bachelor in Education; Pedagogy-Psychology; later, the didactic decisions were determined to give a treatment to values education in the initial training of the Bachelor in Education; Pedagogy-Psychology and finally, the preliminary ideas for the treatment of values education in the development of the curriculum of the Bachelor in Education; Pedagogy-Psychology were socialized in specialized contexts.

Several authors agree that cultural identity encompasses cultural traits, customs, traditions, values and beliefs of a human collective, enriched every day by the events of the past, whether remote or recent. Therefore, educational institutions should increase the mechanisms for its rescue, enrichment, preservation and transmission. Particularly from the Physical Education class the conditions for this are given, the traditional games are part of its curriculum, a propitious moment so that with all intentionality and with an adequate projection and previous preparation of the teacher, not only these games as such can be inserted, but also the treatment of the cultural identity in a general way. This research diagnoses the state of the use of traditional games for the formation of the cultural identity of high school students of the Doce de Marzo Fiscal Educational Unit of Portoviejo, Manabí, Ecuador.

Curriculum and Internationalisation: the context of Angolan higher education and the UNESCO 2030 education agenda - is a research project that was developed with the intention of understanding the state (progress and delays) of curriculum studies in Angola in relation to the development objectives contained in the UNESCO 2030 education agenda. Interviews were conducted with entities linked to the higher education subsystem in Angola, and the results of the study illustrate the degree of organisation of this education subsystem and Angola's position in relation to UNESCO.

The search for a production model that stimulates and generates the sustainable development of rural properties and the production of quality, chemical-free food is a major concern in today's society. Against this backdrop, we set out to describe and analyse the role of UNICOOPER in organic soya production in the north-western region of Rio Grande do Sul, checking whether organic soya production is adding income and improving families' quality of life. The producers point to the lack of manpower to control weeds and the contamination of production by modified organisms cultivated by neighbours as weaknesses, and the non-use of chemical inputs and pesticides and the 35% higher financial bonus than conventional soya as strengths. UNICOOPER intermediates the purchase of inputs and the commercialisation of production, as well as providing technical assistance. The conclusion is that organic soya production is environmentally, socially and economically viable, but without many prospects for continuity due to the lack of family succession on the farms.

The research addresses the issue of the view of the human being as a participating subject in the processes of internationalization in higher education in Colombia, whose situation leads to determine some elements that make visible the ways in which the educational policy addresses and develops the issue, more as a vision of impact that little works the transformation of the human being and that is located in measurements and indicators, but that does not allow to evidence a background scenario in which human beings internalize and become visible as humanized beings that from some cultural praxis that seek the constituent transformation of their self, of the others and of their environment. All this through the understanding of the situations that are manifested in this sense; addressing the dehumanization that reflects and raising a proposal for the transformation of practices and praxis of internationalization in higher education, from a pedagogical anthropological vision.

The book is based on a vast literature review, which covers the main aspects of strawberry cultivation. Information on origin, economic importance, the main cultivars, cultivation, pests and diseases, harvesting and post-harvesting. All in easy to understand language. It is hoped that this material will be used by professionals in the field as well as being a teaching tool.

Why do negative feelings and emotions exist? Positive feelings and emotions were "selected" by Evolution because they produced appropriate behaviour in us humans for our perpetuation as living beings on our planet Earth. But what about negative feelings and emotions? Incredible as it may seem, they were also essential to our survival as a species. We wouldn't be able to survive the often hostile conditions of our habitats if we were 100 per cent passive, possessing only positive feelings. This book presents many scientific facts as well as my own ideas on the subject, and is open-ended because it really is very controversial, something still to be further explored by Neuroscience in conjunction with related sciences.

Low back pain is the leading cause of absenteeism in Spain, causing 16% of all sick leave. It is very important to know the variables that are related to the appearance and/or recurrence of low back pain in the workplace. The aim of this book is to analyze the clinical and epidemiological factors of workers treated for low back pain and to analyze the relationship between job satisfaction and absenteeism caused by this pathology.

The use of internal control as a tool to assist internal auditing in organisations can be limited to the control of strict legal duties, but above all must be guided by the correct use of resource management in order to achieve the goals and objectives set by management, especially in the fulfilment of its mission. An adequate internal control system minimises the risks of the audit and consequently the extent of the procedures to be adopted by the auditor, since audit work is becoming an increasingly important issue for the company which, either by legal obligation or internally, has to certify that the financial information it produces is correct, appropriate and reliable.

Where each government that manages to position itself seeks to make the city a welcoming place, in the search of being able to provide solutions to each of the needs of its inhabitants and ensure the integral development of the city. A city in which each of its residents seeks to grow and develop, achieving their maximum potential and giving a better quality of life to their loved ones. For this reason, it is necessary to know how the resources that the city generates and that the central government provides for the solution of needs and the transformation of the city have been invested. This book illustrates the management that during the last two periods has been given to public resources available to the city; through a comparison of the last two administrations, revealing their investments and providing future solutions in which the next administrations can make better use of resources, minimizing the needs of its inhabitants and improving their quality of life.

The objective of this study was to determine whether adolescents at the Carlos Arturo Torres IED School in Bogotá perceived that making intentional modifications to their body image, understood as the use of tattoos, piercings, expanders and makeup, would give them a sexually attractive image. For this purpose, we took as a frame of reference the institutional context, the definitions that specialized authors have given to the concepts of sexuality, body, image, attraction, body modifications, adolescence, and the research and studies that addressed the topics of body, human sexuality and body modifications.

In this article, the author makes an in-depth study on the judicial guarantee of the reasonable term from the perspective of International Human Rights Law, applied to the specific case of the duration of civil judicial proceedings in Colombia, since the enactment of the General Code of Procedure; by virtue of this, he analyzes different judicial pronouncements on the matter and formulates a proposal for a harmonious judicial interpretation of the nullity of full right for automatic loss of jurisdiction, enshrined in Article 121 of the aforementioned civil procedural codification.

Based on a conception of the complexity of human development, this study aims to explore relationships and analyse the role of constructs whose scientific interest in understanding adjusted trajectories has been highlighted in current literature. Thus, the first objective of this research is to understand whether there are relationships between Emotional Intelligence, Satisfaction with Life (cognitive dimension of Subjective Well-Being) and Mental Health (levels of anxiety, depression and stress) in Emerging Adults. Secondly, the aim is to analyse the relationship between these constructs and the use of medication for anxiety and depression among Emerging Adults. The aim is also to study the relationship between gender and age and the above-mentioned variables.

The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the current fiscal policy in the corporate tax area, on the taxation of contributions to PIS/PASEP - Social Integration Programme, and COFINS - Contribution to Social Financing, in relation to companies established in the Manaus Free Trade Zone (ZFM), levied on gross revenue within the knowledge of the legislation. Its main focus is on the approach to credit analysis in organisations, as it aims to reduce costs and expenses in organisations. The credit will be used as a deduction from the amount of contributions to be paid, arising from other operations in the domestic market, or offset against own debts due relating to taxes and contributions administered by the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service. Nowadays, tax issues occupy space in the decision-making processes of the top management of organisations due to increasing government obligations. In view of this, we sought to analyse the contributions assessed as a result of tax incentives for industrialised products in the Manaus Free Trade Zone.

This research presents an analysis of the relationship between maths, physics and the cultural practices of the Amazon, with regard to the process of building Bragantina ceramics. The research was carried out in a community called "Vila Cuéra", located in the rural area of the municipality of Bragança-PA, on the banks of the Caeté river. The experience portrays the process of building Caeté ceramics, highlighting important aspects where the ceramicist uses his own maths and physics to design his work. In this way, we sought to highlight each piece of knowledge involved in the ceramics production process, which relates known mathematical contents such as geometry and symmetry, as well as physics contents such as temperature and heat transfer. Thus, we sought to analyse the ethnomathematical and ethnophysical knowledge present in the practice of building clay pieces in the "Vila Cuéra" community, as well as highlighting the need for dialogues between ethnomathematical and ethnophysical knowledge with scientific knowledge from Mathematical Science and Physical Science, as a way of understanding and respecting the knowledge of the various populations that make up the Amazon.

It is currently state policy and the policy of the State Oil Company of Ecuador to intervene in the remediation and compensation works in the neighbourhoods affected by pollution, which is briefly described in detail in this project, taking into account the objectives of the social, health, citizen welfare and compensation work that has been carried out. The object of the study is to analyse the social compensation works for pollution in the neighbourhoods surrounding the Esmeraldas refinery that have been carried out in recent years by REE and national government bodies.

This book describes the foraging habits of the Trigona spinipes bee. As well as its importance for the flora of the habitat in which it is found. With a bonus of two studies that were carried out in order to assess its foraging habits under different climatic conditions and its preference for sucrose levels.

This book arises from the detected need to prevent and raise awareness of the risks and consequences of gender violence in the educational stage. Consequently, the objective of the project is to provide knowledge, develop skills and attitudes that favor coexistence based on equality and mutual respect, preventing adolescents from any type of violence in their relationships. The project was carried out during four weeks where social skills, sexist language, gender roles and other contents were worked on, using a participatory, dynamic and active methodology.

Among the main problems encountered in logistics chains, ruptures have gained the most attention because they are the biggest. As a result, the book chooses to work with the methodology suggested by ECR Brasil to track down and discover the causes that lead to such disruptions, using, as its object of study, a list of 50 pharmaceutical products (medicines) that were analysed over the course of a month in one of the shops belonging to the largest pharmacy chain in the Northern Region (Imifarma). In addition, by mapping the order cycle between the Distribution Centre (DC) and the Points of Sale (POS) and interviewing employees involved in the logistics management of the chain, it was possible to identify the other problems affecting the efficiency of the focal company's supply chain. As a result, this study has come up with a range of suggestions for improvements to the disruption and other problems encountered. Among the proposals for improvement mentioned, ECR was the most noteworthy because it was presented as a tool that covers the solution to a large part of the problems faced by Imifarma's chain (especially the issue of stock-outs).

Christianity has the task of announcing, in word and deed, the beginning of liberation from the countless forms of slavery that dehumanise God's creation. The revelation of God in and through Jesus of Nazareth, crucified but risen, calls us to be all that we were created to be. The person who participates in God's love revealed in and through Jesus Christ becomes what they were created to be: the image of God, just as Jesus is the icon of God. The story of Jesus shows that this will cost nothing less than everything. But God's response to the story of Jesus is just as intense: death and sin have been conquered once and for all [...] the power of destruction remains in our hands; the story of Adam is still with us. But the gift of Christ-like obedience offers the hope of transformation to the world, freeing it from the Law for a fruitful union with Christ (Rom 7:1-6). Life under the Law makes true freedom impossible (Rom 7:7-25), while life in the Holy Spirit makes possible a freedom that comes from God's gracious gift (Rom 8:1-13).
