The textile sector in Brazil has been going through a number of difficulties, so for a company in this sector, it is necessary to make the adjustments that the market demands, and the way to get results immediately is to work on reducing costs. Within this issue, we have an activity that takes a large toll on the company, which is called reprocessing. Using the PDCA cycle and its quality tools, process analyses, phenomenon analyses, brainstorming and other activities were carried out at a fabric dyeing and finishing company.

This tool, argues Immanuel KANT, is the combination of law and morality.Immanuel KANT's political project is therefore to identify the root causes of this permanent war, in order to extricate all states, once and for all, from their posture of conflictuality and permanent war, to a lasting and shared peace. To achieve this, he believes we must not turn a blind eye to the "unsociable sociability of man", meaning that conflict lies at the heart of the social.

Believing that the use of the concept map technique can be a factor in the acquisition of new knowledge, its meanings and the guarantee of greater stability of the knowledge previously acquired by the student, this book aims to present a reflection on the potential of the concept map as a teaching/learning strategy. The work made it possible to analyse the influence of the concept map technique as a study stimulus for students, with reference to Ausubel's meaningful learning, using bibliographical research and questionnaires as data collection procedures.

This dissertation was carried out in the History Postgraduate Programme at the Fluminense Federal University, with the support of the National Research Council, through the master's scholarship awarded to the first place in Contemporary History II in the 2017 selection process. It narrates a relationship between culture and society that has been historically constructed in the city of Paraty. The relationship between the Paraty International Literary Festival and the José Kleber Cultural Silo Institute. What I'm trying to develop in my research is an analysis of the formation of the caiçara identity in Paraty. This identity is constructed as cultural resistance to the movement of expropriation and transformation of the common territorial space. My historical research brings new insights to the analysis of the circulation of knowledge agents involved in the process, providing unpublished audiovisual documents. These documents were collected over the course of a ten-year partnership as a documentary filmmaker with the José Kleber Cultural Silo Institute in Paraty.

The book allows us to encounter significant reflections on dance, the body and education. Reflections stemming from an experiential process, told here in an autobiographical tone, which was fundamental in the self-(trans)formation of the teacher, dancer and choreographer Sávio de Luna. By dancing and talking about his dance, Sávio becomes the subject of his own story and the propeller of knowledge that is wisely problematised and reconfigured from the link between Physical Education and Dance. In this journey, the author records and takes as his guiding axis the meeting with his greatest teacher - Prof Edson Claro, who decisively influenced Sávio's life. Since the 1980s, Claro has been there to clarify the lunar face of Luna, and today he is giving us the pleasure of getting to know the details of this line described by bodies in movement. Teaching certain Biological Sciences content is a challenge, as many students don't assimilate various topics and don't feel motivated to take part in classes and consequently abstract and understand biological processes. Within this context, virtual learning environments can become instruments that will assist in the teaching of Biological Sciences content, and can provide teachers with the possibility of bringing real and significant information into the classroom in their daily pedagogical practice, thus allowing teachers to interfere, infer, and change their pedagogical practice, bringing immediate contributions to the educational community. This means that communication, interaction and activities during the school term are not just restricted to textbooks or theoretical classes, as is customary, since they can advance the relationship between student education and visual contact with abstract content.

Forensic analyses of fires and fire-related disasters are based on technique and science, linked to the knowledge and experience of the investigating expert. In order to elucidate the facts, the investigating expert must know how to collect and correlate the types of evidence obtained at the immediate and immediate sites of these events, which will lead him to the conclusion of the cause of the incident under investigation.

Soil compaction is a process in which there is a significant reduction of the pore space, which directly affects the macropores, which are responsible for water infiltration and soil aeration. Agricultural operations often present problems related to soil compaction, since the machinery used causes a number of effects on the soil. The objective of this work was to analyze soil compaction associated with the use of agricultural machinery in the lower basin of the Portoviejo River. First, the study site was described, then data was collected and analyzed with the help of a GPS, and an Agratronix penetrometer was used to measure soil compaction, then farmers were surveyed and the results were statistically analyzed using InfoStat.com software. The results show that in the soils where the agricultural machinery travels, the presence of compaction is found from the fifth level of depth, that is, at 25 cm.

This book is presented as a bibliographic review of works related to Cooperative Learning and Conflict Resolution in Education, with the objective of using this methodology in the area of Physical Education and analyzing the results obtained by the students in relation to the reduction of conflicts in the classroom and the strategies they have when working together and in a coordinated manner.

Family farming is an activity that has become increasingly important in people's diets and represents the largest source of consumption for the Brazilian population. Family farmers play a decisive role in the production chain that supplies the market, so their best performance is of fundamental importance for supplying the population and generating jobs and income. In the municipality of Barbacena, a large number of families are active in this activity, so the study considered one of its localities, specifically Pombal, which was analysed from the perspective of rural enterprise, providing various data and evidence regarding its development, as well as suggestions for its progress.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the 5th most common cancer worldwide, and its incidence is currently rising. HCC is a real public health problem in Tunisia, given the growing incidence of chronic carriage of hepatitis B and C viruses. In 90% of cases, HCC occurs in patients with chronic liver disease, usually at the cirrhosis stage. To improve the overall prognosis of HCC in Tunisia, we need to improve treatment methods, in particular interventional radiology, and above all promote and organize screening.

Agriculture is of enormous importance to the Brazilian economy, especially in the Centre-West and South regions of Brazil, where grain is the main crop. Most of the production is delivered to processing companies, which process, store and commercialise the grain. These companies have several occupational hazards in their processes, especially those related to confined spaces (CS), which are hoppers, warehouses and silos. In these places, one of the most serious risks to workers is exposure to toxic gases, such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide and methane, which require the use of detection equipment to recognise. During use, the equipment wears out a lot, mainly due to the characteristics of the ECs, which are very dusty and hot, and also due to the low level of training and zeal of the employees who operate them, making maintenance costs very high. In addition to the high cost of maintenance, it is also difficult for companies' SESMTs to control and analyse alarm records.

Ever since Plato wrote the Republic, questions of politics and law have become common problems for all societies. It's no wonder that, for his discussions, different models have been suggested to account for what we consider to be just, good or right in terms of the role of the state towards its citizens. These models, whether utilitarian, liberal, egalitarian, virtue theorist or communitarian, try to deal with political problems by suggesting different starting points, and these points are as diverse as their theoretical models. Faced with this reality, the author will seek to clearly and precisely elucidate some of the main theoretical discussions in political philosophy and law.

This book deals with the theme of continuing teacher training, which was developed using the continuing training course of the National Pact for Strengthening Secondary Education (Pacto), offered to state school educators in Brazil. In this study, we analysed the project in five state schools in the central region of RS, covered by the 24th Regional Education Coordination (CRE), during 2014 and 2015. The general objective of the work is to analyse the progress and difficulties that permeated the process of continuing teacher training for the Pact in these schools, both during and after the project; and the specific objectives are: to check what opinions teachers have about the teaching knowledge mobilised in the school context; to investigate whether there is a correlation between the teaching knowledge "Pact continuing training" and the other knowledge mobilised in these schools; to analyse what opinions teachers and study advisors have about the themes that permeated the Pact in the school context; and, to identify and describe the interdisciplinary activities developed and implemented, during and after, the Pact in these schools.

This manual is aimed at students in the fourth year of secondary school, in the Economics and Management section. We have produced it in accordance with the new curriculum (applicable from September 2022).this manual has a unifying concept: it is a continuum whose different parts refer to each other. It is not intended to be exhaustive, but rather pedagogical and explanatory, so as to make the essential clear and open up a wider field. Our main objectives are:- to consolidate the knowledge already acquired in 2nd and 3rd year;- to motivate students by enabling them to apply their knowledge in concrete situations;- to help students understand the value and limits of the information available for decision-making. In writing this manual, we have done our utmost to produce a pleasant and attractive work that will enable students to approach their end-of-year exams in excellent conditions. Finally, we'd be delighted to receive any constructive criticism and suggestions from our colleagues who would like to see the manual improved.

The use of oral and written expression techniques for primary school children is fundamental in the teaching and learning process. Currently, there is a high percentage of adults who are deficient in expressing themselves, which is why it is extremely important for the authors to promote oral expression in students from basic education, through workshops based on dramatic and linguistic play, response, stories and histories in the classroom, reinforcing their linguistic and interpersonal intelligences. This research was carried out in a basic education school in Ecuador.

In recent years, women professionals in public accounting have become increasingly interested in gaining access to leadership and decision-making positions in organisations, whether public or private. For this reason, this document presents a statistical analysis of the participation of women in the main national and international accounting regulatory bodies, The aim is to highlight the female leadership style in order to stop underestimating women and recognise that they have the potential and capacity to perform any position that involves high levels of leadership and decision-making and thus meet the current needs of organisations.

This article aims to analyse the current environment of our society and its relationship between ethics, justice and moral conduct of human beings, through various actions where people's decisions are governed between what is moral for society and what is just according to the laws, and it is at that moment where it can be observed that there is a thin line between ethics, justice and morality.

Atherosclerosis in sand rats and laboratory rats. Our book focuses on a comparative study of atherosclerosis in the sand rat(Psammomys obesus) and the laboratory rat(Rattus norvegicus). While the former is chosen as an atherosensitive experimental model, the latter is classified as atheroresistant, but has nevertheless shown some sensitivities to certain diets and agents. Psammomys obesus is an ideal model for the study of certain metabolic and tissue disorders that occur when switching from its natural diet to a hypercaloric laboratory diet. Both models were subjected to a hypercaloric diet consisting of cooked egg yolk, and at the end of the experiment we analyzed "in vivo" and "in vitro" the various parameters of atherosclerosis (determination of plasma lipids and lipoproteins, histological and histochemical study of the arterial wall, study of vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation). The results showed plasma and structural alterations in the aorta characteristic of the atherosclerotic process, the effects being more pronounced in Psammomys obesus.

The aim of this paper is to explain the relationship between the policies for school coexistence implemented in the San José Educational Institution and its relationship with conflict resolution. The research had a qualitative methodology, with an ethnomethodological approach, based on semi-structured interviews and surveys. The starting point was conceptual questions formulated with the purpose of having an appreciation of the previous knowledge that the students have about the subject, they were asked about the regulations related to school coexistence, about its applicability in the institution, about the coexistence manual, about the treatment they give to conflicts, about the difference between violence and conflict, bearing in mind that this institution is framed under the system of criminal responsibility for adolescents in the Colombian territory. It is concluded that there is no clear differentiation in the conceptualisation and regulations governing school coexistence, by students and some teachers, conflict resolution is done from the coexistence manual as a punitive exercise, not reflective or restorative.

Organisations that have an Occupational Health and Safety culture in place perform more efficiently, improving the results of their processes, promoting employee health and satisfaction, guaranteeing a safe working environment, with a reduced level of accidents at work. Occupational health and safety culture is defined as a behavioural approach within organisations that affects the way their employees act and think about occupational health and safety, i.e. it considers occupational health and safety actions as a strategy used in decision-making in organisations. In order to carry out this work, a literature review and the author's experience on the subject were carried out. This research showed that organisations that implement an occupational health and safety culture achieve their objectives when they recognise that health and safety actions are treated as a value and not just a mere compliance with legal requirements.

Chemical waste is a series of compounds generated in a wide variety of industrial and laboratory activities, which merit special concern due to their complexity and various levels of toxicity. The major difference between managing industrial waste and laboratory waste lies in the form of treatment and final disposal. The major problem with these forms of generation is their varied and inconstant composition. The chemical properties of waste change constantly and it is difficult to find a standardised and effective method for treating it. The methodology applied to chemical waste management consists of characterising, segregating, storing and correctly and legally disposing of the waste generated. With this in mind, developing a plan to manage chemical waste in the laboratory can help to optimise the activities of the users of the site, as well as contributing to less generation and proper final disposal of waste.

In the second, we emphasise the construction of Spiritist philosophy, reinforcing our jusnaturalist option, the history of Spiritism, the life and work of Allan Kardec, the principles of Spiritism, as well as discussing divine or natural law, good and evil and the law of justice, love and charity. Finally, in the third chapter we show the relationship between Law and Spiritism, using Spiritist questions about human responsibility and criminology, Spiritist social ideas and the use of psychography as evidence in the courts of criminal procedure

The elements that make up the model of the psychological field elaborated by Jacob Robert Kantor (1975) regarding the formation of the psychological as part of a natural process of development in the ontogenetic evolution of the human being are worked on. In order to propose a structured form in the process of instructional teaching-learning (Sulzer-Azaroff and Mayer, 1983; Ribes, 2012), providing the support to a theoretical and practical tool in relation to the use of the elements that the educational work should have oriented to social development, knowledge, behavioral skills with orientation to academic performance based on didactic activities of reading-writing focused on oral-writing expression, meeting the personal educational needs of the student, institutional and instructional order, as well as social participation related to the use of language in the framework of an inclusive educational system.

The purpose of this in-depth study was to question the disparity of interpretation criteria between the different judicial operators with regard to the constitutional principle of the primacy of reality over the formalities agreed by the parties, the reality contract and the non-applicability of the statute of limitations to the action. It was found, using the jurisprudential line on the constitutional principle of the primacy of reality over formalities established by the subjects of labour relations, that despite the existence of the reality contract being proven within the process, the ruling, in some cases, condemns the defendant entity to recognise and pay the labour rights of the plaintiff worker, and in others, simply declares the limitation of the action, which implies the violation of the constitutional principles of material equality, legal certainty and effective access to the administration of justice.

Non-governmental organisations in Guinea-Bissau, faced with the absence of the Guinean state when it comes to providing basic goods for the population, have been pointed out by various scholars as possible temporary solutions to the current context. In view of this, it is necessary to investigate the effectiveness of their interventions and issues related to the process of evaluating the projects carried out. In a simplified way, the book presents how the process of evaluating social projects carried out by ADPP, EDEC, PCI and PLAN INTERNACIONAL in Guinea-Bissau takes place. With this project, I hope to promote the development of CSOs, especially non-governmental organisations in Guinea-Bissau.

The formation of values is a process that begins from the first moments of life, where the family plays a primordial role in its beginnings, but we must bear in mind that it is a multifactorial process, and the school as a training centre must take into account the individualities of each stage of life in order to establish actions that contribute to reinforcing moral ethical values; in the case of the nursing profession, these are indispensable in order to achieve comprehensive, quality care, hence the importance of establishing actions from the curricular point of view that guarantee the resolution of this training deficiency. The aim of this work is to elaborate a system of actions that will allow the teacher to contribute to the formation of values in nursing students from the curricular point of view.

Muslim women are now an integral part of the European community, often placed at the centre of political, religious and gender debates because of their religious visibility. The Islamic headscarf has become an anti-Western and anti-feminist symbol. The topic of "women and Islam" continues to be routinely interpreted in Western Europe in a reductionist, prejudiced and fetishised way, with Muslim women seen as passive, submissive, inactive, highly dependent because of their clothing, polygamy and inheritance law, among other issues that are easily prejudged by the West. Muslim women end up being little noticed, becoming "invisible" human beings. When they are observed, they are perceived as people of no use or value to society, in contrast to the images of Western women, who are seen as educated, empowered and liberal. All of this is strongly tied to the "us" versus "them" dichotomy, which establishes predefined roles and reinforces stereotypical images of Muslim women, also resulting in the appropriation of their decision-making power.

Communication is a consequence of the objective need for association and cooperation between people, and also a condition for the development of their individuality, originality and integrity. We systematise the theoretical and methodological considerations of authors about communication in the pedagogical process and classify the styles of communication. The following topics are addressed: the role of the teacher in the classroom process; the relationship between communication, education and the educational environment; communication and management of the educational process in the classroom; new technologies for education; the main difficulties in pedagogical communication. Pedagogical recommendations are offered for the development of the communicative process in the classroom. The methods used were documentary and content analysis, in-depth interviews, and the author's personal experience as a manager and university professor. Conclusions are offered. The text may be of interest to educationalists and also to business people, as the management process is essentially a process of educational communication.
