This book makes a didactic and grammatical examination of the use of defined determiners among Congolese middle school students in 6th grade. He appreciates their skills in using definite determiners with nouns. It was first necessary to categorize these errors according to whether they are Gender Agreement Faults, Number Agreement Faults, Double Determination, Phonic Confusion, Bad Plural. Then, research the causes of this reality and finally, propose solutions likely to reduce these errors on the copies.

COVID-19 is an acute respiratory syndrome caused by the new coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2. This infectious disease is a zoonosis, the origin of which is still debated, that emerged in December 2019 in the city of Wuhan, in China's Hubei province. The spread of SARS-CoV-2 in China led to a pandemic, declared on March 11, 2020 by the WHO.On March 25, 2020, Mali recorded its first two epidemics, with two (2) confirmed cases. Health-care workers are exposed to the risk of transmission.We carried out a prospective study from April 1 to August 31, 2021, to assess the level of knowledge, attitude and practice of the population with regard to Coronavirus disease in Bamako's large market. We surveyed 400 people.This study revealed that the level of good knowledge of the signs and risks of transmission of the COVID-19 disease and the practice of barrier gestures is low among the population surveyed.

The phatic function is a means of expressing opinion that explicitly or implicitly responds to the speaker's ambition to establish discursive symmetry with the audience. This notion reflects the speaker's desire to perform a successful discursive activity. But how does the speaker use this linguistic device to tame the listener, while at the same time imposing the value of his arguments? It's this desire to be understood that drives a third party to use the phatic function in all its forms. The interest here lies in the ability of the phatic code to participate in the construction of a resistant discourse and to influence the semantic scope of any discourse. This raises the question of the true role of this linguistic function in a discursive situation. Our analysis of the strategic aspect of this question shows both its social value and the various pragmatic issues it raises. The approach to the phatic code and its relationship to the semantic construction of political discourse, following a theoretical study, was thus the subject of a practical study.

The work seeks to reveal, through theory and practical examples, what conduct an insured could commit so that the insurer would stop paying him compensation, due to an eventual loss of the property insured at the time. Would it be possible for the insurer to refuse payment because of the insured's alleged careless behaviour? Does the insured have a legal duty, in the event of a claim, to at least try to reduce the damage already realised to his property? The following lines seek to address these topics in order to elucidate everyday behaviour in the face of jurisprudential understandings of insurance law.

The biggest challenge facing organisations today is improving people management processes. And the work "Organisational Climate" is seen as one of the most efficient diagnostic tools in the area of people management, considering that adherence to the principles of healthy work environments prevents absenteeism and minimises the costs associated with high turnover, thus increasing productivity. From the study of thinkers such as Dejours and Chiavenato, it can be seen that organisations need to be vigilant when setting their objectives. Targets set in an unattainable reality aimed solely at profit are a factor that increases the feeling of frustration. People need subjective confirmation for their attitudes and behaviour in order to reinforce the goal of every being, which is to feel their existence and not just to exist. The result is the profit achieved by the organisation through the targets set without, however, disrespecting the subjectivity of each team member, thus safeguarding the employee's metal health.

In this book, the author offers a poignant and uncompromising analysis of Gabon's socio-political situation. The author's aim is not to create controversy or sensationalism. The aim is to make the country's authorities aware of the mistakes they are making on a daily basis in the management of public affairs, and which are having a major negative impact on the future of thousands of people.Rather than considering this book as a tool for the prosecution, the Gabonese authorities would do well to reflect on it and use it as a barometer, as it represents the cry of distress of many Gabonese people.Ultimately, this book is exceptional in that it is the work of a Gabonese, a member of the society under scrutiny. As the author so aptly puts it, taking into account even one of the concerns raised here would already be the beginning of a solution.

The general aim of this study was to analyse the process used by Physical Education teachers to assess high school students in the Santa Rosa do Sul/SC state school system. In order to achieve this objective, the following specific objectives were defined: to verify the assessment system included in the school's PPP; to understand the students' perception of assessment in Physical Education; to understand how the assessment criteria used by the teacher are defined. The research was of a field nature, using the following tools: a questionnaire applied to the teachers, a focus group carried out with the high school students, an analysis of the Political Pedagogical Project (PPP) of the institution being researched and work with one class from each year of high school. Significant results were obtained from the students and teachers about assessment. In terms of knowledge about assessment, everyone had a superficial understanding, but the aim of assessment was clear to the students. As for the teachers, we identified a need for further research into assessment in Physical Education classes.

According to a pedagogy based on scientific evidence, education, as a teaching-learning process, constitutes at the same time a complex historically evolved biopsycho-social process; in which its determination is in the first instance biological and, ultimately, socio-historical, with psychological mediation between both instances. In fact, in the central nervous system, in general, and the brain in particular, is where all modalities of learning and education occur; determining the characteristics and dimensions of what can be learned, how quickly, limits and duration. Therefore, the brain constitutes the biological basis of education; naturally and directly in the innate and instinctive learning contained in genetic information and, indirectly, by developing biological mechanisms in the brain for learning and carrying out social and cultural functions such as reading and writing. Thus, through brain plasticity (its ability to continuously adapt to changing circumstances), education not only changes the mind, but in turn each new learning produces changes in the brain.

This research is a feasible study consisting of the application of a model for the evaluation of pedestrian traffic behavior with the purpose of identifying road risk factors around the School of Engineering that threaten the road safety of students, staff and visitors to the institution. To this end, the area under study was characterized, including the determination of the conflict indicator (PV2) presented by both pedestrian and vehicular flows, this factor justifies a possible provision of a pedestrian facility and pedestrian movement patterns were identified. Also, taking as a reference the pedestrian behavior studies carried out internationally (Ecuador, Colombia and Chile), the activities and instruments to be carried out in the process were defined. Pedestrian behaviors were conceptualized in the study area and a description of the behavior of drivers in the presence of pedestrians was also considered.

Reading the book, it becomes clear that Russia and China are the main economies in the CO2eq-intensive input chain, standing out for respectively demanding 3.2 and 2.9 and supplying 4.9 and 3.9 times more than the average. In addition, the five most developed countries have lower linkage indices than the five least developed countries, indicating that countries such as Russia, Mexico, Brazil, Turkey, China and Indonesia demand and supply inputs with a higher incorporated CO2eq content than the most developed countries. The study showed the importance of the interregional flow of countries to combat CO2eq emissions incorporated into international trade, with Russia and China standing out, not only because they are among the main emitters, but also because they are the economies with the most interlinked production structures that are intensive in atmospheric emissions, as well as having the highest amount of emissions per monetary unit and being the main net exporters of CO2eq. Therefore, international conferences should pay more attention to these two countries, as they are not part of the mandatory GHG reduction group established in the Paris agreement.

Cultural tourism is one of the main segments of tourist activity and is currently expanding throughout Brazil. The raw material for this type of tourism is cultural heritage and in the city of Recife - PE, there is a great historical and cultural legacy. One of these material cultural heritage sites is the Basilica of Nossa Senhora do Carmo, located in the Santo Antônio neighbourhood. It bears historical marks of the city's urbanisation, contributes to the process of cultural and religious identity of the people of Recife, as well as being a strong expression of Baroque architecture in the city. It therefore has a significant attraction in terms of the city's tourism offer. Based on these observations, this study aims to investigate aspects of how tourists perceive the Carmo Basilica, taking into account its status as a cultural heritage site.

The purpose of this research is to describe the way in which health sector workers perceive the level of administrative management, given that the success of an institution depends on the role played by each and every one of the workers, so this article was developed under the quantitative, basic approach at a simple descriptive level, A non-experimental cross-sectional design was applied, consisting of a population of 122 workers, 92 workers were selected through a convenience sampling, justifying itself because the Managerial prototype is applicable to any organizational model with the desire to increase its productivity and achieve success through human potential. Likewise, it is oriented to identify if the public entities in the conduction of the Administrative Management, make an effort to stand out and distinguish themselves through planning, organization, direction and control, to obtain an efficient achievement of their goals; in such sense, this article is structured in VII Chapters: discussion, conclusion, recommendations, bibliographical references, annexes among others.

In the African context and in the language used, the girl is prepared to understand that the woman is made for procreation and the upkeep of the home. In the name of motherhood and all the burdens it implies, women are condemned to cook, clean and do the laundry for their husbands and grandchildren. She thus becomes a willing slave in a society where the avatars of common opinion are passed down from generation to generation. In this way, language stereotypes are developed, tending to maintain women in a complex of inferiority and submission. This book is not intended to combat tradition, nor to propose a role reversal in male/female relations. It takes into account, through the case of Burundi, the state of the question of the received ideas that circulate in the language around the inferiorization of women and their implications on the daily life of women. Male domination is a fact that manifests itself above all in stereotyped language - the cela- va-de-soi - i.e. in the verbal repertoire of common opinion.

Countless times I sat down to think about when I was going to write the story of my travels with a backpack on my back. Although all the experiences remain only for those who have gone through them, and that is the only thing that matters, I was worried about the day my memory would fail and those fleeting moments would dissipate from my consciousness. Once, twice, three... and more times I sat in front of my computer waiting for the ideas and memories to come to my mind. Year after year went by, but the only thing I managed to do was to become more and more disappointed with the impotence of wanting to and not being able to. Why was it so difficult to concentrate? -I wondered. It was simply a matter of sorting out my memories and transcribing them. However, I was puzzled by the fact that I did not know what prevented me from materializing what I had lived. Could it be, perhaps, the fear of every human being to externalize his thoughts and way of being? The fear of being exposed to the criticism of a friend, acquaintance, or of his most intimate relatives? The worry about what people will say...? Well, today, in the middle of my life, without intending to, without calling any muse and without even thinking about it, I tell the chronicle that I am writing here.

The aim of this essay is to contextualise the collective space that was created by carrying out the social mapping of the rural colonies in the municipality of Paranaguá, Paraná, and which arose from the urgency of the local social actors themselves to create a space that would allow for more in-depth discussions about the territory in question, together with the start of the second phase of the Localised Agri-Food System Project (SAL). The SAL project worked in the region from 2013 until mid-2015 and focused on the development of the territory by seeking co-operation between local social actors, making it possible to explain common potentialities and difficulties to the collective. To carry out this study, some principles of ethnography and semi-structured interviews were used as a basis, sharing Geertz's (1989) concept of "being there", experiencing the daily life of the group in question. Still in the construction of ethnographic facts, the result of one of the aspects of social mapping - rural tourism - was the inclusion of the region in the calendar of Nature Walks, with its route called 'Circuito Serra da Prata'.

The vast majority of wastewater is discharged directly into the environment without adequate treatment, with adverse effects on human health, economic productivity, the quality of environmental freshwater resources and ecosystems. The main objective of the study was to assess the impact of industrial wastewater on water quality in the Centre, Plateau Central, Centre-Ouest and Hauts-Bassins regions. Three types of water were selected: surface water and borehole water located near industrial zones, and wastewater (from wastewater treatment plants and industrial units). The results of these water analyses showed that the receiving waters (rivers and boreholes) are contaminated to varying degrees by the various discharges of wastewater from industrial units.This study is the fruit of lengthy work by the General Directorate of Water Resources.

This book is the result of a study that aimed to analyse the strategic and financial viability of producing biogas from pig waste in the municipality of Itaipulândia, located in the state of Paraná, Brazil. The methodology used was qualitative analysis with a single case study. The data was collected through interviews, the use of various documents and research, comparing it with the selected theoretical basis. The strategic tools used were: Porter's Five Forces; SWOT Analysis; Scenario Analysis and the Financial Indicators: Payback, Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Profitability Index (ÍL).

The path to a more fraternal world, as proclaimed in the French Revolution, is not limited to the Liberalism of Liberty, nor to the Communism of Equality of the Revolutionary banner, nor to equity alone, nor to free will alone, either. The combination of these will always be dependent on fraternity, which has always sounded dangerous to those in apparently antagonistic positions, when in fact the third vertex is missing: FRATERNITY itself. Solidarity, safely allied to fairness and free will, can form the basis for closing the cycle of the French Revolution. As the debates evolved, what became clearer was that the ends justify the means, hence the corruptions, etc. The real pendency of the apex and fraternal path in this work brings Solidarity as an ally of this path in a gentlemanly and safe way. Hence ACTIVE VIRTUOUS SOLIDARITY, to help in the pedagogisation of politics, as a Management and Support Technology.

The research was carried out in Vista Hermosa Casa Blanca, Pillcosay, district and province of Acobamba, Huancavelica region; located at UTM (m) East X: 547372 and UTM (m) North Y: 8580732, altitude 3434 masl. The objectives were: morphological characterization, identification of the species and evaluation of its potential for medical use of Bomarea sp, wild plant found in Vista Hermosa Casa Blanca Acobamba Huancavelica Peru". it is inferred that the genus and species found is Bomarea bracteata, with 85% germination viability, period "sowing - harvest" with assisted sexual seed 176 days, "total crop cycle" propagated with globose tubers 192 days, water demand by transpiration, in mm/day 238.30 mm/campaign, equivalent water requirement by transpiration of 41.37 m3/ha, for a density of 173611 plants/ha, conducted in external closed lysimeters with controlled irrigation, productive average of 47 fox potato tubers/lysimeter with a total weight of 1045.00 grams (32656.25 kilograms/hectare), with potential for medical use.

This project focuses on the analysis of the applicability of Mintzberg's 5 structural configuration models in a specific business organization, "Guzmán Gastronomía". Initially making a descriptive and enunciative, but not exhaustive, contribution of Mintzberg's theoretical postulates, which allows framing a comparative analysis between such 5 models, and subsequently studying the impact of the implementation, one by one, of such structural options and, after their comparison, the reasoning of the choice of the option that best suits the structural configuration of the business structure under study, in addition to the empirical justification of the discarding of the other four options, constitutes the main body of this project. The results of this comparative analysis are presented in the conclusion.

People have always sought to stave off death and live as long as possible. In our societies, scientific and medical progress has made it possible to considerably increase life expectancy. However, when we tend towards the end of life, it seems difficult for medicine to resolve to ¿abandon¿ a patient and/or let them go. Furthermore, it is not always easy for the medical profession to make an absolutely certain prognosis, although the use of technological data in biomedical sciences offers them the possibility of readjusting diagnoses in order to propose a possible treatment and this, must be based on the ethical application of life sciences. This is the contribution of this work. Its aim is to place the ethical application of jurisprudence at the center of both biomedical and biotechnological concerns to restore human life to its sacred character. Thus, we would like to show that in the intersection between scientific-legal evolution and biotechnological practices, it would be appropriate to put in place ethical principles.

This book presents a proposal for a sustainable organisational strategy, based on a shared value business model. It identifies an organisation's commitment to sustainability, analysing the alignment between strategic aspects and the actions and practices developed. Mapping the organisation's information reveals more sustainable paths and alternatives, with the aim of adapting the business strategy to a shared value model in which both the company and society win. The definition of sustainability needs to be broadened internally within organisations, seeking profit with a positive social and environmental impact. This business model requires the use of differentiated organisational strategies that are nonetheless effective in maintaining business competitiveness.

The life history of a university teacher is the central objective of this manuscript from the ontological, epistemological, theoretical and axiological perspectives in relation to the historical, social and cultural contexts as a contribution in the elaboration of the approach to its pedagogical ideology. Qualitative research under the descriptive experiential introspective approach carried out through the biographical life history method, applied to a university teacher attached to the Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador (UPEL) and Instituto de Mejoramiento Profesional del Magisterio (IMPM) located in the Táchira state of Venezuela, Doctor in Education Nancy Escobar. The results obtained, organized in categories of analysis, allowed to know their pedagogical ideology which is strengthened by combining the values of love, respect, friendship, responsibility as relevant factors in school mediation, knowledge based on pedagogy generating new life experiences and actions, which leads to set objects of study based on the teaching action, prioritizing and establishing new reasons for being.

The aim of this book was to model a process that would increase the profitability of the agricultural sector and consequently reduce prices for the end consumer. The modeled process showed that precision agriculture is an excellent tool for improving soil fertility monitoring. This allows for rational planning of fertilizer application in the area. You can also monitor the evolution of these nutrients in the area, as well as carry out variable rate applications, with the aim of improving the fertility conditions of the area, reducing replacement costs and increasing the productive potential of the crops.

This paper addresses the relationship between design and industry as a bridge to minimize the image deficit of Portuguese footwear brands. It reviews the essential themes linked to the competitive advantages of brands as a strategic design resource for organizations, analyzing different types of links between organizations and design culture. In a logic of product and communication integration, visual identity helps us to understand how the process of integrating design into organizations can operate above all at a strategic level. The relationship that the theme of brands establishes with footwear is related to the latent distance between industry and design in Portugal, a factor that is related to the origin of this deficit. Considering the technical and technological resources and know-how in Portugal, the case of the 'Sanjo' brand (1932-1996) is studied. This cultural heritage is a raw material with great potential for developing product and image strategies, with a view to sustainably enhancing Portuguese brands by bringing design and industry closer together.

This study of raw water quality in the Comoé basin follows on from those carried out in 2015 on the Nakanbé basin and 20172019 on the Mouhoun basin. The Comoé national basin in Burkina Faso covers an area of 17,620 km2 or 6.5% of the national territory. It straddles three administrative regions and five provinces: primarily the Cascades region (86.2% of the basin), with most of the Comoé and Léraba provinces; secondarily, the Hauts Bassins region (7.2% of the basin), with small portions of the Houet and Kénédougou provinces; and the Sud-Ouest region (6.6% of the basin), with a small portion of the Poni province. The presence of predominantly rural populations living from agriculture and livestock farming, with many processing industries, means that human pressure on natural resources, particularly water resources, is high. Examining the quality of these resources is important in order to ensure all uses of water resources and participate in the implementation of Integrated Water Resource Management.

The number of male teachers is much lower than the number of female teachers, and this number grows as the grades of basic education progress. The predominance of women is also evident in training courses. The phenomenon of the feminisation of the teaching profession can be traced back to the 19th century, when not only did more women enter the profession and Normal Schools than men, but the teaching profession also became associated with the female sex. This process has been studied by various researchers in the field of History and the History of Education, and was the result of new themes and sources that emerged with the incorporation of the category of analysing gender relations from the 1980s onwards. However, most of these works only emphasise the voice and conditions of women, disregarding the male sex within the feminisation process. This work therefore aims to identify the difficulties faced by those who have opted for the so-called female profession, thus understanding the low demand for male teacher training courses and the small number working in the profession.

This work exposes the violent realities experienced by people who are transvestites and analyses reflections in educational spaces about transvestite bodies. Based on data collected in the administrative regions of the Federal District, it uses THEATRE as a means of discourse. The transvestite I am referring to breaks with the norms of heterosexual bodies, breaking the rules of sexual and gender orientations, such as people who experience homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, transvestitism or who do not fit into the norms imposed by societies on an immaculate body.

Focussing on the real situation in Mozambique, it can be seen that the teaching-learning process is undergoing transformations in terms of educating pupils and trying to integrate new demands. This book deals with the role of teachers in combating alcohol consumption in schools in the city of Nampula. In this context, the study incorporates the teacher as an indispensable agent in the transformation of society, through their practical action in the classroom. Their role is important in educating pupils, raising awareness and disseminating methods to combat alcohol consumption among pupils in schools. Teachers, professionals who train other professionals.

This is an anthropological analysis of religious texts and icons in which the body appears gender-flexed through sexual imagery. Based on evidence from material and historical culture, we discuss a notable similarity between Egyptian and Indian narratives about the sacred body according to orientalist sources, which approached the subject by translating works from Sanskrit and other languages, including tantric literature. In methodological terms, we consider body categories beyond biological and essentialist models, going beyond genital differences - although they are emphasised in the Tantras - and analysing the asymmetries of power in the relational construction of these bodies. At first, there seems to be an uninitiated, impure sexualised body that needs to be reconstructed through the effort of individual and devotional will according to particular physical-mental practices. In this anthropological experiment we hope to find dissonant voices within the peculiar language of sacred eroticism and formulate new questions for the study of the subject.
