It is vital to pay attention to sex in women and men, since it is a fundamental part of every person, which allows an adequate organic and emotional functioning in general, this study is aimed at highlighting the characteristics present by the lack of intimate sexual life, its associated or derived symptoms, affections, advantages of a healthy sexual life, treatments, which highlights that the affection with desire and its cycle of pulsional discharge guarantee the regulation of a healthy life.

This study addresses the humanization of medical communication in the light of Person-Centered Medicine. The family, as a collaborator or substitute for the patient, represents a substantial value in the care required. It describes the opinions of doctors in an adult ICU about communication with the families of hospitalized patients. The qualitative thematic content analysis shows the following categories: a vision of totality for expanded care "the family as a collaborator or substitute for the patient" and humanized communication "views on objective and subjective aspects for a person-centred clinical practice". Emphasis is placed on the communicative context and on medical training as a permanent development of skills. There is a focus on humanistic skills, communication as a technical tool, the communicative act as a strategic alliance for qualified care, doctors' emotions and the importance of self-knowledge in order to communicate, the challenge with family feelings, the practice of welcoming and guidance when informing and listening, empathy for the legitimization of the family member. She communicates with health and education professionals, families, researchers and laypeople alike.

With the wonders of modern technology, through bibliographical research, case studies and analysis of practical experiences, it is possible to investigate a universe of possibilities that were unthinkable until recently, which makes the challenge of making technology viable as an essential tool in the teaching-learning process a not-so-easy task. Putting audio, video, images, research, instant communication, messaging and an infinite range of tools at the service of education requires first of all observing the physical space and the methodology that suits the school's pedagogy within the process in question. It is becoming increasingly necessary to train and prepare professionals involved in education in the face of technological resources, with a view to multiplying this knowledge in order to train students, people, individuals who are prepared to face the job market within the reality proposed by the globalized world, with a view to becoming citizens who are aware of their rights and duties.

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection has become a worldwide public health problem, even to the point of being considered the pandemic of the late 20th century. From its discovery in 1984 to the present, there has been an alarming worldwide increase in the incidence and prevalence of this disease, which has led the international scientific community to work exhaustively on the prevention and treatment of HIV infection. UNAIDS estimated at the end of 2012 that approximately 34 million people were living with HIV worldwide, with sub-Saharan Africa, a region representing only 12% of the world's population, being the most affected region, constituting 68% of all HIV infections worldwide. In Latin America, there has been a steady decline in new HIV infections since 1996 and stabilized in the new millennium to the present day, with approximately 100,000 per year.

Urban development is directly related to an increase in waste production. It is therefore necessary to develop techniques to ensure that this growth takes place in a sustainable manner, so as to reduce waste production and provide it with an appropriate destination. Among the most industrially produced materials are polymers, the most common of which is polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The natural degradation time of PET is between 100 and 400 years, which prevents it from being produced sustainably. In this sense, it is feasible to use it in ways that increase its useful life without discarding it completely, such as incorporating it into construction materials. The aim of this study was to assess the adhesion of mortars incorporated with 20% micronised polyethylene terephthalate. The specimens were marked, the cladding was cut, the tablets were glued to the substrate and the adhesion strength test was carried out in accordance with ABNT standard NBR 13528:2010. Two plasterboard panels with dimensions of 97 cm high, 85 cm wide and 2 cm thick were made to carry out the tests at ages of 7 and 14 days.

This work was designed to present a case study of an erosion process on land located in Mairiporã. This process focuses directly on environmental assessments and geological structures, based on geophysical surveys. Two geophysical processes were used, Georadar and Electroresistivity. These surveys were combined in order to get an idea of what was happening on the ground as a result of the erosion process.However, the area investigated provides a guide for this adjustment to be carried out before any construction process, as it avoids any damage to the post-built structure.Preliminary assessment is the main way to avoid future problems with erosion processes.

Fibroepithelial tumors of the breast are characterized by biphasic proliferation, with a dual epithelial and stromal component. The various histological entities that make up fibro-epithelial tumours are mainly fibroadenoma and its variants, phyllodes tumour, hamartoma and pseudo angiomatous stromal hyperplasia or "PASH". Each histological entity has its own distinct clinical, imaging and therapeutic features.This clear, didactic book illustrates the different histological types and subtypes of fibroepithelial tumors, their radio-histological correlations and the appropriate treatment guidelines. This book is intended for radiologists and all practicing physicians.

On 30 April 2013, National Law No. 26.854 was published in the Official Gazette (B.O. 30/04/2013), which regulates the procedure applicable to precautionary measures requested against or by the National State or its Decentralised Entities. The new law was promoted by the National Executive Power on 9 April 2013, together with other initiatives that are part of a package of reforms to the Judiciary, known as "Democratisation of Justice". This law N° 26.854 (B.O. 30/04/2013) tends to partially make up for the absence, in the federal order, of a Procedural Code on Contentious-Administrative Matters. Therefore, the purpose of my research is to determine what these new provisions are and whether some of them affect the Constitutional order. Finally, it is important to note that I will only analyse the articles which, in my opinion, have been most discussed in doctrine and jurisprudence.

The university is one of the best and greatest legacies of man's inventions of all centuries, from Plato's "Academy" to the current and most prestigious universities in the world, as an autonomous and distinct space with the purpose of producing valid, true and authentic knowledge for the development of humanity. Since its conception as an educational institution of the utmost rigour and excellence, its priority for the development of humanity and societies is undoubted, and its actions are privileged in the reconstruction, transfer, appropriation, innovation, transformation and multicultural education of knowledge. This book is one of several examples of the commitment of proactive university teaching, giving the opportunity to reflect and build knowledge through experiential and dynamic teaching outside the classroom.

School journalism is a pedagogical strategy that promotes integration, research and development of potentialities in the areas of communication, photography and technology, now, the new generations known as technology natives expect schools to respond to their expectations especially with the use of social networks that have facilitated the fact of publishing photographs, biographies and relevant information in short spaces but with the advantage of immediacy of the Internet, Therefore, the school newspaper strategy must also adapt to this pedagogical evolution, since it is more practical for them to publish on the World Wide Web than in a conventional newspaper. Since 2007, the Bolivarian National Curriculum includes for the first time the Information and Communication Technologies as resources in the educational praxis, thus allowing teachers in Venezuela to develop different strategies that encourage meaningful and constructivist learning. The school newspaper as an institutional strategy provides a link between the community and the school, as well as a historical record of educational activities.

Interculturality is considered by Ecuadorian professor and activist researcher Catherine Walsh to be a concept formulated and loaded with meaning, mainly by the Ecuadorian indigenous movement from the 1980s onwards. The educational policies promoted by indigenous peoples, NGOs and the state from this period onwards aimed to establish national policies of plurilingualism and multiethnicity. The change from the term "bicultural bilingual education", used at the time, to "Intercultural Bilingual Education - IBE", was proposed with the aim of recognizing the integrative, global, historical and dynamic nature of culture, which results in the condition that a human collectivity never becomes bicultural, but rather is capable of including new forms and contents as new living conditions and needs require. Thus, this work seeks to make a contribution to the area of language acquisition, in the sense of understanding and proposing alternatives for implementing intercultural competence in the process of teaching and learning English in Brazilian early childhood education, by proposing to observe the social and cultural contrasts implicit in the curricula of this area.

School dropout in Mexico is very high at the high school level due to multiple factors, so it is important to implement actions that support the reversal of this indicator. This text shows the follow-up and the results obtained from the tutoring program, it is pointed out that the results obtained depend to a great extent on an adequate selection of the profile of the teacher who will be in charge of the individual and group tutoring, parents and students themselves and the adequate planning for the operation of these, without a doubt tutoring is a very important alternative to reduce school dropout as evidenced in this study.

The vertiginous advance of new information and communication technologies (NICT) has had a strong impact on the teaching and learning process in educational institutions. The new informational paradigm, which generates new perspectives, has also brought about confusion regarding the didactic-pedagogical use of the educational resources that emanate from it. The following research-action work aimed to focus on the learning of NICT, in order to develop general knowledge that will enable new ways of understanding, for the development of various pedagogical strategies in the classroom.

In compliance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador and international conventions ratified by the Ecuadorian State, the Judges of Criminal Guarantees in the exercise of their functions apply the precautionary measure of house arrest in favor of persons who are in a state of vulnerability or who need specialized attention due to their condition; However, this type of measure has been applied without exceptional legal parameters or requirements, this lack of regulations has caused criminal proceedings of public and private knowledge to go unpunished due to evasion or escape of the defendants, who, realizing the lack of security of the homes, see the possibility of evading prosecution and flee the place or violate this restriction of movement. The purpose of this study is to establish the legal, technical and juridical motivation on which the Judges of Criminal Guarantees base their resolutions regarding the application of the precautionary measure of house arrest.

This book is dedicated to the patients and professionals of the Oncology Sector of the Maria da Glória Outpatient Clinic of the Clinical Hospital of the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro - UFTM, who were willing to contribute to the research. Every day we seek to be more competitive and responsive to the market, and one way to achieve this is through knowledge management and the use of information technologies.In the current competitive, globalized and changing context, the greatest value of a company is centered on its skills that make it different from others, especially its acquired or generated knowledge, that is, intellectual capital. The speed with which ideas are born, compete and die leads to the need to manage organizations differently, focusing this management on the intellect of the individuals in the organization.The proposed methodology consists of three general stages and a series of steps that contemplate diverse aspects such as; knowing the work procedures in the development of new products, identification of key products and processes, auditing the knowledge in the development of new products, analysis of the results, the elaboration of a final report where the results of the knowledge audit are shown and an orientation for the use of the same.

In the last quarter of the 20th century, the process generically known as productive restructuring significantly altered the relationship between capital and labour. The new scenario is marked above all by the flexibilisation of workers' historically acquired rights, which implies the precariousness of working conditions. As a result, unions and trade unionism are being called upon to respond to the new challenges. The aim of this research is therefore to provide a descriptive reconstruction of the construction workers' strike that took place between February and March 2011 at the Suape Industrial and Port Complex. Through this reconstruction, we reflect on how the political articulation and social mobilisation of these workers has taken place. We reconstructed the strike process using the minutes of the hearings held at the Regional Labour Prosecutor's Office (PRT - 6th Region) as well as semi-structured interviews with participants in the process. To reconstruct the strike, we looked at the context and dynamics of trade unionism in Brazil, analysing its moments of crisis and rise.

Distinguishing the cause as the reason or social economic function involved in the construction of the concept of legal business in general, which is intimately linked to its content as an essential or structural element for its validity, but is not identified with it, we will first locate in a first scenario the problem that arose on the occasion of the transfer of internal legislation through which the causalist theory, instituted in an iron way in Colombian civil law, and which does not discriminate the cause of the obligation with that of the contract, was extrapolated to our commercial legislation and with it such confusion was maintained. Next, it will be determined how the concept of unlawful cause is unnecessary and useless to undermine the validity of the legal transaction, even more so if it is taken into account that this problem can be sufficiently and forcefully tackled by applying the theory of contractual coherence, as a development of the constitutional principle of good faith, which not only preserves the business relationship but would make the institution that opens the way to the decree of an absolute substantial nullity for unlawful cause disappear from the legal system.

This book deals with the role of the educator in the subjective constitution of children in day care centres, nurseries or similar, and its possible implications for the formation of the psyche, psychosocial development and mental health. This is a bibliographical study, but it is also empirical in nature. It uses psychoanalytic studies related to the application of the "Risk Indicators for Child Development" Protocol (IRDI) as a theoretical reference. In accessible and thought-provoking language, it discusses the concept of development, the social function of the crèche/nursery and similar in the current social conjuncture, the process of subjective constitution and its guiding axes, as well as the place that the educator occupies in their relationship with the child in the crèche environment and its possible implications for the subjective constitution of these infants. The content presented here reaches a wide audience: mental health professionals, teachers, psycho-pedagogues, academics in these areas and anyone interested in studies on the subjective constitution in childhood and pedagogical practices allied to the prevention of developmental risks.

Education is fundamental in the development of the human being; it is one of the topics that have attracted the most attention throughout the history of mankind. We must highlight the importance of retaking the central points of education in consideration of the subject as a being in itself, that is to say, that educational institutions return to have a holistic and integral look at the development processes of the human being, not reducing them to being mere recipients of training, turning them into passive actors alien to their own processes, and of course different and distant from the family, political and social forms and processes.

A mining project is the component of three interdependent factors: exploration, production and redevelopment.Exploration generally begins with the search for interesting exploration zones and the taking of samples in geological zones that appear to have interesting mineral potential. This implies that a good prospecting strategy starts with a thorough understanding of the geological context and targets areas based on metallogenic models.exploration is carried out with the aim of discovering base and precious metals. Before starting work in the field, it is imperative to apply to government agencies for a permit to comply with regulations. Once a mineral deposit has been identified through exploration, the industry must invest heavily in mine development before production can begin. Additional exploration work in the vicinity of the deposit and development drilling within the deposit are carried out while operations are underway. Mine closure is the last major step in the mining cycle.

The 2015 Brazilian Code of Civil Procedure brought with it several innovations, including procedural legal deals. This institute aims to enable the parties to have more procedural freedom and autonomy, making the process more consistent with their individualities. The aim of this book is to explain a little more about this institute and analyse whether or not (and if so, to what extent) it can be used in family lawsuits. To this end, this work has been divided into three topics, in addition to the initial and final considerations, in which the first aims to study this new institute itself, the second to analyse private autonomy in family law and the third to assess whether procedural legal transactions are appropriate in family actions. It is worth emphasising that the research methodology is eminently bibliographical. From the research, it was concluded that yes, procedural legal deals can be used in family actions on the basis of private autonomy.

The dominant themes of this research are motivation for learning, the relationship between teaching methods and learning methods for students' academic success. In recent years, she has developed the theme of Higher Education Didactics, focusing on the quality of teacher training, the organisation of higher education students' learning methods, their skills and performance in the construction of knowledge. There can be no teacher training, or indeed any professional training, without didactics, commonly defined as the art of teaching. I've seen this in my contact with teachers and future teachers, both in training courses, seminars, discussions and in the classroom, talking and dialoguing about who a teacher is; how they should act in and out of class; what mechanisms teachers should use to make their relationship with students effective and efficient.

This end-of-course work analyses the perception of Unilever's sustainability strategies in relation to the consumers of its main brands. A quantitative survey of 100 residents of the Cidade Nova neighbourhood in Belo Horizonte of different age groups was carried out to better capture the different perceptions on the subject of sustainability. Unilever, a holding company that owns several cleaning, personal care and food brands, has defined certain global goals and pillars regarding sustainability in order to contribute to the environment in which we live. Some consumers are able to perceive the actions indirectly by judging them as an attribute of the product, the reason for their purchase. Other consumers are aware of which products to buy because they know they are sustainable and their benefits. Awareness or conscious consumption can come through education, as Unilever has done with its "Every gesture counts" campaign, and through the My Choice label that stands out on some products, but which consumers seem to be unaware of.

The use of medicinal plants is a valid alternative to face the process of health and disease, a practice that is reinforced by the fact that they are medicines of proven effectiveness for man, who uses the elements that nature provides to prevent and cure their diseases, with the search for substances with antibacterial and antifungal activity. It is important to find effective therapeutic alternatives against infections caused by microorganisms resistant to antibiotics, as is the case of the substances found in the malojillo plant (Cymbopogon citratus). The aforementioned plant possesses important antibacterial properties due to its chemical composition. For medicinal use, the essential oil extracted from it is used, which has antibacterial properties, that is, it kills or slows the growth of bacteria.

Refeeding Syndrome, being a little known pathology, and at the same time underestimated and underdiagnosed, the future perspectives of the present research work are based on making, in an initial way, the knowledge of this disease known, highlighting from its frequency of presentation, conditioning risk factors to new approaches of its prevention and early management. With respect to the field of research, this work opens the way, from thinking about more theories about its causal factors and its preventive way of acting, to studying multiple ways of determining the effect it has on any patient with malnutrition data, or risk of it, and even what role it plays in the evolution of any disease, not only in those of a surgical nature, but also in those of psychological-psychiatric physiopathology such as anorexia nervosa, to complex syndromes such as hereditary genetic syndromes, and even aggressive therapeutic schemes such as chemotherapy, which in themselves entail an incipient state of malnutrition.

This book presents the process that homo-affective individuals go through, from the moment they call themselves homo-affective to the moment they decide to tell their family and friends. The main aim of this work is to understand the experience of homosexuals when communicating their affective-emotional orientation. This is a qualitative study, which involved eight male interviewees aged between 18 and 24, who shared their stories.
