Attachment is one of the most researched topics in the field of developmental psychology. More and more scientific studies are appearing on the quality of a child's attachment relationship with their mother and the repercussions of this bond on the child's cognitive, emotional and social development. Most of the results show that an insecure attachment relationship is one of the main risk factors for the development of disruptive behaviour in the childhood environment (internalization/externalization). Throughout this book, we will look at attachment theory, the development of the initial mother-baby relationship and the emergence of behavioral problems in the early childhood environment. Using the Skills and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) and the Inventory of Attachment to Parents and Peers (IPPA), we investigated the attachment relationship with parents and the behavioral problems reported by both. The participants were 258 Portuguese children aged between 9 and 12 (M = 10.34; SD = 0.88). The results show that a secure attachment relationship with parents correlates negatively with the behavior problems reported by the children.

This book aims to analyse the process of constitution of the subject of the teacher of professional and technological education who works in a technical course, in the PROEJA modality, at a campus of the Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Sul. The paths taken to carry out this research are delimited by theoretical-methodological choices that tension them: the constitution of subjects in Foucault, crossed by the concepts of device and resistance, and the production of data through the cartographic method. A field diary was used to record the data produced, the notes of which form the corpus for analysing the research. The production of teacher subjectivities in the midst of the historical constitution of the IFSul is problematised. It is important to analyse the games of truth produced in the power relations of the research territory. Implicit in the discursive fabric of IFSul is the construction of a technical course in the PROEJA modality, whose teachers are the subjects of this research. Using cartography, the subjectivisation processes of these teachers were monitored, as producers of points of resistance to the institution's truth games.

La Música en la Obra de Nicolás Guillén deals with the musical properties of the Cuban author's poetry, concentrating on the evolution of his lyric poetry in counterpoint and coherence with the musical history of the island. The work displays so many virtues and is so full in lines of development that it is difficult to establish any of them as its main merit. The handling and arrangement of the sources, as well as the harmonization between the sample of poems selected for the analysis and the analysis itself are among the most successful aspects of the work. Beyond that, the text allows us to immerse ourselves in the complexity, contradictions and beauty of the island culture, understanding in greater depth the roots of these tensions and solutions throughout the period from the "discovery" to the 20th century. The sections of analysis of the texts and the intentional choice of musicology as an instrument for the interpretation of the poems greatly illuminates the reading of the poems, while allowing the main hypothesis of the work to be followed with great care, so that the rhetorical deployment of the text gives practically no room for discussion. - Ricardo Martínez-Gamboa.

It's undeniable that today, going before a civil judge to assert one's rights or claims is a right recognized by all, and even a fundamental right. So, to ensure its effectiveness, access to the courts must be easy. However, despite the efforts made, this right is still not a reality. There are major disparities depending on where you live.

The issue of arboviruses, in particular the Zika virus, gained prominence in 2016 in Brazil and around the world, when it was discovered that children born with microcephaly had been infected by their mothers, who in turn had been contaminated by the Zika virus during pregnancy. Based on this scenario, the World Health Organization declared a National Health Emergency for Brazil and a Health Emergency of International Concern. In light of this scenario, this study aims to analyze the correlation between the number of cases of people infected with arboviruses and temperature and rainfall data in the neighborhoods of Copacabana, Guaratiba, Jardim Botânico and Santa Cruz, located in the city of Rio de Janeiro, between 2007 and 2017. Based on these studies, the most vulnerable locations were identified in order to investigate, through the number of confirmed cases, whether or not there is a correlation between vulnerable locations and the presence of rain and heat. The results show that there was a strong correlation between the increase in temperature and the number of infected people living in places with a high degree of socio-environmental vulnerability.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), indoor air pollution is the eighth health risk factor and is responsible for 2.7% of the world's illnesses. The purpose of this study is to carry out a quantitative survey of non-biological pollutants, specifically CO2, and biological agents, specifically fungi, and compare the results with the parameters established by Conama Resolution - RE 09/2003. For this assessment, the research was carried out in an administrative office located in the centre of Curitiba. The methodology applied consisted of carrying out laboratory analyses on the air conditioning filters and collecting indoor air in two different climatic seasons, then comparing the results with the legislation in force in Brazil, currently governed by Resolution RE 09/2003. It is hoped that this study will contribute to understanding the behaviour of these pollutants and also provoke critical reflection on the exposure of workers around the world in artificially refrigerated environments to the invisible risks that cause countless diseases.

Socio-affective adoption is, first and foremost, a choice about who to love, who to give affection and care to and, above all, who to share life with. Affection is more important than biological origin among its members. Socio-affective adoption is based on the bonds of affection formed by living together, reciprocal expressions of affection between people, companionship, mutual assistance and concern. The book develops a study on Ecosocialism, a current of socio-environmental thought and action, with the central objective of analyzing the advances and challenges of international ecosocialism, with more depth in the political parties of France and Brazil. To this end, it first presents the motivations for the concrete actions of ecosocialism. It discusses how the socio-environmental crisis is developing and its risks for humanity. It then sets out the various forms of socio-environmental proposals for dealing with the crisis, their divergences and convergences. Subsequently, it presents in more detail the thinking and action of the ecosocialist current and how it is present in French party politics. Ecosocialism in Brazilian party politics is analyzed in terms of its history and perspectives. The results of the research show that, despite having limitations, such as resistance from the traditional left and poor electoral performance, the ecosocialist currents in French and Brazilian party politics have grown in internal debates and can evolve by increasing their interaction with social movements.

The aim of this book is to identify the elements that formed the basis of Brazil's Foreign Policy. In order to achieve this goal, the actions and treaties of Joanine Foreign Policy and the First Reign in Brazil will be analysed. The work makes a critical comparison, verifying the convergences and divergences between the two periods studied. The relevance of this study is to understand the formulation of Brazil's Foreign Policy from its basis, as it is noted that these periods are little studied. The study is not limited to Foreign Policy issues, but also develops themes such as the internal transformation of Brazil with the arrival of the Portuguese court and after Brazil's independence.

The term training is one of the most widely used in the educational field. However, it still generates today a multiplicity of questions about its nature and scope: What does training imply? Is it a purely academic concept or is it rather a formal conception about my own history? This manuscript takes a look at the binding precedents brought in by the 2015 Code of Civil Procedure, demonstrating the origin of the civil law and common law legal systems, their differences and similarities, and finally pointing out which of these legal systems the Brazilian procedural system is rooted in. The Brazilian legal system tried to establish a system of procedural precedents through the 2015 Code of Civil Procedure, but as the study showed, a system of procedural precedents is not established through laws, as the Brazilian legislator wanted to do.

The genus Arthrospira belongs to the Oscillatoriaceae family and comprises the group of cylindrical filamentous photosynthesizing cyanobacteria, known as blue-green microalgae. It has been used as food for humans for thousands of years. In 1974 it was declared THE BEST FOOD FOR THE FUTURE by the UN WORLD FOOD CONFERENCE, which aimed to eradicate hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition. For the WHO - UN World Health Organization - Arthrospira is an interesting food for many reasons, such as being rich in protein and iron and because it can be consumed without any risk. In commercial production, the choice of the composition of the culture medium is of great importance because 15 to 25% of the total production costs are due to the culture medium used for the development of the microorganism.

In this work we offer to the person who consults, an initial chapter that exposes key and fundamental concepts of bioethics, chapters on the background of the incorporation of these topics to the professional curricula of health developed in the disciplinary schools of the University of Chile and chapters that describe teaching methods and evaluation of learning. The situation of growing demographic expansion contributes to the multiplication of chaotic urban landscapes. Without intelligent planning, urban segregation is reflected mainly in the outskirts of cities and spaces of arrival and departure. A study of the social re-significance of accommodation alternatives based on Shared Consumption through an analysis of the company Airbnb. It addresses the relationship between consumer culture and the characteristics of the Sharing Economy, as well as analyzing how consumers interpret the proposals of new companies based on this mentality as motivations for consumption.

This study was carried out in a stand of Eucalyptus sp on a property in the municipality of Campo Verde, in the central-southern region of the state of Mato Grosso. The aim was to test and select the tapering function that best estimates diameters and volumes along the stem for trees of the Eucalyptus genus, and to evaluate the performance of non-segmented tapering functions for estimating diameters and volumes at all measurement heights. The database consisted of 40 trees rigorously cubed using the Smalian method. The models used for the estimates were the Kozak model, the Fifth Degree model and the Hradetzky model. The model adjustments were evaluated according to the corrected coefficient of determination (R²), the standard error of the estimate in percentage (Sxy%), and the distribution of the residuals in percentage (%). The accuracy of the models was assessed by the parameters deviation (D), standard deviation of differences (SDD), and percentage residual (PR), which were the basis for drawing up a classification and detecting the model that showed the best estimates of diameters and volumes along the stem.

The paper contains information on the origins, pioneering spirit and preservation actions carried out at the Conservation and Restoration Studio of the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), founded in 1982 to initially restore the paintings of Pelotas artist Leopoldo Gotuzzo, which were used to create the Leopoldo Gotuzzo Art Museum (MALG) and the University's Pinacoteca. The actions that resulted in the creation of the Atelier were supported by the value of the pictorial collection, which represents part of the cultural history of the city of Pelotas and the region, and by the concern for its conservation.

This research aims to examine the causes and consequences of inequality in terms of human development, economic growth, social cohesion and community dynamics, as well as to examine the current manifestations of inequality in various social, economic but mainly political spheres.Through this exhaustive review, we seek to understand not only the origins of inequality in Latin America, but also its effects on society, the economy and human welfare. This study is based on an exhaustive documentary analysis that includes academic sources, reports from international organizations, government documents and relevant publications on social inequality in Latin America. The review of existing literature on the subject allowed reflection on the various forms, tools and methods to address inequalities.These documents were written with a different intention from this one, within which we try to understand them with their own approach, but also with the value given to each research argument supported by their authors in each of their investigations.

The mandibular canal (MC) can present anatomical variations that are important to know when planning mandibular surgery. Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is a current imaging exam with a high level of precision and detail. The importance of this work lies in informing and encouraging dental surgeons to seek knowledge of the anatomy and the precise diagnosis of its alterations, using three-dimensional CBCT images to facilitate the planning, diagnosis and resolution of clinical cases, providing greater comfort for the patient and minimizing the possibility of errors and complications.

The HTLV-1 virus is prevalent in various regions of the world, from Japan to Brazil. Infected individuals can develop T-cell lymphoma or tropical spastic paraparesis, which is disabling. The disease has no cure but can be controlled with multidisciplinary monitoring and treatment with different types of medication. As the virus can be transmitted through breast milk, infected women cannot breastfeed their children. Health professionals from different specialties must know about the virus, the diseases associated with it and the manifestations observed as a result of the infection in order to offer appropriate treatment and guarantee a better quality of life for this group of special patients. This book aims to draw the attention of educators, professionals and the general population to the care that should be taken when faced with the presence of the virus, particularly for those who live in regions endemic for HTLV-1.

Now more than ever, they need to pay close attention to optimizing their managerial processes through the implementation of facility projects.This type of project has proven its effectiveness in the quest for performance, bringing about positive changes such as highly profitable cross-functional organization and the adoption of collective, participative management.We all know that project-based management is not only based on tools and methods, but also on human resources and organization.In this sense, even a facility project that federates and energizes institutional life, because of its complexity, uncertainties and multi-disciplinary nature, never unfolds in an ideal way. In fact, the mechanics of change induced by this project can only be driven by two forces: innovation and difficulties.

Peaceful cohabitation and social cohesion remain dependent on the way in which the various types of conflict are dealt with by the community and/or other human groups.

An analysis of a series of 1450 patients with non-small cell lung carcinoma treated at a single institution. Large cell histology was compared with the other classic histologies, adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and unspecified carcinoma. This series constitutes an important "real world" sample and all external slides were systematically reviewed as part of the routine care recommended at the center where this cohort of patients was treated.
