This work presents and analyses the decisions and conceptions of the "judicial actors" in the field of juvenile justice in the city of Salvador - BA, taking into account the legal provisions of the Statute of the Child and Adolescent which, in its article 112, provides for socio-educational measures applicable to adolescents in conflict with the law. In particular, the framework of restorative justice was analysed in terms of the possibilities, successes and difficulties in its implementation, based on a comprehensive approach to the points of view of "judicial actors" and socio-educational sentences. The aim was to scrutinise the meanings surrounding the juvenile justice system - produced within the judiciary - to see if there is an under-use of restorative justice references in sentences and in the meanings attributed to the socio-educational measure, on the one hand, and the persistence of references that favour the logic of affliction as a way of responding to juvenile conflicts, on the other.

The present study was carried out in the ABEL GILBER PONTON speciality hospital in the suburbs of the city of Guayaquil with the purpose of determining the incidence of bacterial pneumonia in older adults. This is the most common respiratory infection in humans, to which about 43,859 cases of death are attributed annually, representing 8% in the province of Guayas. Community-acquired pneumonia is an infectious pathology with high morbimortality, especially in the most vulnerable groups such as the elderly where the degree of affection of this pathology is very transcendent due to their condition, as their immune system is more vulnerable and they are exposed to factors that can trigger this pathology, even leading to death if they are not rigorously treated. This problem affects 17% of older adults in the community attended in this hospital, who attend with symptoms such as cough with purulent expectoration, headache, chills, dyspnoea and sometimes loss of wakefulness.

The main finding of the study was to identify that the knowledge acquired by the students of the health courses at the researched institution in Porto Alegre does not have a specific pattern, as the knowledge is shared in an integral way only in the Nursing and Physiotherapy courses. We concluded from this study that the little knowledge that is shared occurs randomly, with teachers from other disciplines who have this knowledge.

For a long time, the idea of developmentalism was based on the thesis that industrialisation was the way to overcome poverty and underdevelopment. However, a country would not be able to industrialise through market impulses alone, and state intervention was necessary. With this in mind, the book seeks to identify the process of economic development used by Brazil from the 1930s to the most recent phase, reviewing theoretically and chronologically how this experience took place. Notes are presented on the concept of economic development according to the views of the currents of thought in economic science, and these concepts are identified; the main projects carried out in Brazil to establish and consolidate national industry are briefly explained. The phase in which the crisis took hold in the Brazilian economy in the 1980s and early 1990s, the lack of a long-term economic project to resume the country's economic growth, and the beginning of the process of opening up the Brazilian economy are demonstrated. Finally, the failures of neoliberal policies and reforms to promote macroeconomic stabilisation and growth are exposed, resulting in the emergence of neo-developmentalism.

Culture, assumed as the tradition of meanings and senses present in the contexts of life, is not only a matter of determination of the personality by the environment, nor is it a matter of total and complete reflection and criticism of the individual on it. the relationship with others allows one to learn ways of taking in elements of the context and making them one's own, in the same way that one develops in such environments the capacity to carry out internal processes of evaluation of options and courses of action; This explains the fact that people living in similar environments form personalities and show divergent attitudes and emotions, but also that their actions take different courses when faced with similar situations. Learning culture implies constant preparation and readiness, seen as a necessity, to solve individual and collective life situations, which is why a concept of culture that recovers its symbolic and contextual character is taken into account here.

The aim of this study was to find out how activities are managed on the properties of family farmers with links to the Free Fair in Dom Pedrito-RS, in order to understand how this management is carried out and how family farmers understand this issue. Sixteen family farmers located in Dom Pedrito-RS took part in this study, through interviews carried out on their properties to better observe the data collected, during the months of April and May of the year two thousand and eighteen. The main result obtained in this project was the confirmation that management activities are carried out by the family farmers studied, but the characteristics of these management actions vary greatly between farmers, where several groups were formed by similarity and closeness of these activities related to management, making this visualization and understanding possible through the scatter diagram and principal component analysis. Other results were achieved, including the development of a basic management model adapted to the family farmers participating in this study.

This paper is a research project carried out at the Pedagogical Advisory Office in Barra do Bugres - MT, during the supervised internship course of the undergraduate degree in Public Administration, with observation activities, bibliographic research on the subject and on the organization, informal communication and aimed at studying how organizational learning takes place in this environment. This research lasted two years and culminated in interviews, bibliographical research and informal conversations, with a presentation of the elements that facilitate organizational learning that are most present in the organization (Operational variety, Multiple mentors, Systemic perspective, Imperative to analyze the external environment, and Climate of openness) and a description of their dynamics.

To compensate for insufficient income or cope with temporary crisis situations, households develop resilience strategies to escape poverty, cope with financial insecurity, reduce risk or take advantage of the wide range of opportunities offered by globalization. Thus, documenting multi-activity and strategies for improving and diversifying sources of income in the case of Côte d'Ivoire would contribute to the publication gap on this subject and enable the implementation of poverty reduction policies and appropriate income diversification strategies. Using data from the EHCVM 2018, we constructed a multi-activity and diversification indicator, analyzed the determinants and measured the effects of multi-activity and diversification on household well-being using the Logit model.

Public policies for family farming play an important role in expanding farmers' productive capacity. In Brazil, the National Programme for Strengthening Family Farming (PRONAF) stands out among the policies for this segment. In view of the importance of this credit programme and taking on the challenge of incorporating evaluation systematically into the government's public management practice, this book sought to assess whether Pronaf has enabled women beneficiaries to increase the productive capacity of their property, increase their income and improve their quality of life, and whether it is possible to associate it with a process of empowerment of women beneficiaries. The analysis was conducted using a mixed qualitative and quantitative approach. Data was collected through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. The research findings also reveal that PRONAF is necessary for improving production, income, quality of life and empowerment, but the sufficiency ratio is still very low.

"Finding Super Mario" is a study project carried out in primary school in a public school, which reinforces the importance of studying through projects and reaffirms that learning takes place and skills are expanded in a playful and enjoyable way when the work is cohesive and well-structured. When everyone involved - pupils, teacher, school and families - feels engaged, research and the quest to expand knowledge happen naturally, with everyone taking part and contributing in the best way for children's individual and collective development. And it is in this sense that this book demonstrates how pleasurable learning can be at school, uniting the desire to learn with the passion to teach.

The aim of this paper is to analyse the grotesque and the sublime in Oscar Wilde's novel The Picture of Dorian Gray, published in 1890, and in Oliver Parker's film adaptation of the same name (2009). We carried out a bibliographical survey in the fields of literature and film theory, and observed aesthetic categories that emerged in classical antiquity, passing through the plastic arts and transiting through 19th century literature, contributing in some way to the artistic and visual sphere of the 21st century. These categories are articulated within 19th century European Romanticism, when Victor Hugo, Wolfgang Kayser, among other scholars, showed the critical and philosophical discussions about both aesthetics; we are also subsidised by the concept of ugly and beautiful raised by Umberto Eco. Therefore, our research observes the approximations between verbal and non-verbal narrative, identifying the grotesque and the sublime in a dialogue from text to screen that involves the characterisation, adaptation, translation and transposition of the character Dorian Gray, showing that these categories offer the necessary subjectivity, important for film adaptation.

With the promulgation of the 1988 Federal Constitution, Social Security was conceived by the Original Constituent Power as an integrated set of actions at the initiative of the Public Authorities and society, aimed at guaranteeing rights relating to health, social security and social assistance. Among the objectives of social assistance set out in the Federal Constitution is the guarantee of a minimum monthly benefit for the disabled and the elderly who can prove that they do not have the means to provide for their own maintenance or to have it provided for by their family. This benefit is regulated by Law 8742/93 (LOAS), which will undergo significant changes if the text of PEC 287/2016 is approved. In this context, based on a brief analysis of the legal provisions that regulate the social assistance benefit and a prognosis of the legislative changes intended by the aforementioned PEC, this study aims to investigate the role of fundamental rights as limiters of Derivative Constituent Power. In order to be legitimised, these legislative changes need to be in line with the essential core of fundamental rights.

The difficulty of classifying Cameroon's electoral system has given rise to so many questions and even controversy, that in the context of the institutional project launched by the January 18, 1996 Constitution, we had to classify Cameroon's non-presidential electoral system as one of the world's great classical electoral systems.Moreover, in view of the obvious interest and enthusiasm for electoral issues perceptible among Cameroonian and even African youth, both on social networks and in the real political arena, it was time to shed some light on an electoral system that is somewhat resistant to taming and pigeonholing, since it ultimately appears to be uniquely Cameroonian.Ultimately, this book is both academic and practical in scope, since its ultimate aim is to demystify an electoral law that, in the final analysis, seems to remain elitist. What's more, at a time when street democracy is tending to take precedence over the law.

Creating a Congo "more beautiful than before in peace" is a duty that the Congolese have assigned themselves and that they have sung in their national anthem since the accession of this country to independence (1960). It seems utopian considering the age of this country today (62 years old) and the realities on the ground. The author believes that we will achieve it one day if the new citizenship conditions the action and the experience of the Congolese before the Nation and before the Eternal God. If the Congolese are committed today to an ethical management of the Nation at all levels of responsibility, under the impetus of a new leadership and by soaking up the Scriptures, the principles linked to the culture of peace--advocated by UNESCO--, ideas drawn from the South African Ubuntu philosophy and the "pedagogy of the oppressed" (of Paolo Freire), change will soon follow. Moreover, the new Congolese citizenship/ethics (explained in this book) remains, in the opinion of the author, the first project of the Republic. She speaks to the conscience of the Congolese individually and collectively while cultivating the desire to live together peacefully and aesthetically.

How to preserve household purchasing power in a context of inflation? In Cameroon, this issue is a constant preoccupation for public authorities.Changes to the Central Bank's key interest rates, price controls and subsidies are the measures regularly taken by the State to address this issue. However, these measures, which come under the heading of price policy, clearly do not seem to solve the problem. This brief proposes a different analysis. Instead of a price policy, Cameroon should pursue a purchasing power policy. This policy consists of simultaneously monitoring the evolution of prices and incomes, and reassuring ourselves that at any given moment, incomes are evolving at least at the same pace as market prices, if not faster.The success of such an approach depends on the effective implementation of an import-substitution policy, and the development of instruments to break down the prices of goods and assess the optimal level of pass-through of raw material prices to domestic prices of goods and services.

As a final exam for her degree, she decided to gain a better understanding of employee knowledge management within large companies, and to do so she sought a theoretical basis in the work of various authors. The beginning of the creation of organisational knowledge is the transformation of tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge and vice versa, and it should be understood as a process that extends the knowledge created by individuals "organisationally". Knowledge is an exclusive attribute of human beings, whose tacit knowledge forms the basis of organisational knowledge. Although organisations provide the means to generate, multiply and, above all, justify the use of knowledge in products and services that are desirable to societies, they cannot create knowledge on their own, which is why it is up to the organisation to provide the right context for the activities of individuals in order to facilitate the creation, dissemination, retention and application of knowledge in order to enrich the organisation as a whole and the environment in which it operates.

The aim of the research is to develop and strengthen environmental education at the Federal Institute of Pernambuco, Recife campus, through interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity, in order to contribute to the construction of the socio-ecological identity of the employees outsourced by the federal institute, the Soll company, materializing their performance as ecological subjects transforming the socio-educational space. The methodological procedures required to carry out this University Education and Extension Project are based on a qualitative and quantitative approach, with the aim of effectively understanding the process of building the identity of the employees of the Soll Company, outsourced by the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pernambuco - Campus Recife, Cidade Universitária, in the municipality of Recife, Pernambuco. However, at the same time, what emerges from the research here is that in addressing these issues, the guarantees of freedom of expression and coexistence with different ideological, social and cultural positions, in other words, the knowledge of theories and dialogues on Environmental Education, gravitate towards promoting knowledge.

It is clear that medieval philosophy anticipated that the advent of Christianity would have an effect on society, but from a cultural and political point of view, it was necessary for society to undergo a transformation because, from an anthropological perspective, the human condition was deteriorating over time ... . Due to the demise of the very political system established by the Roman Empire and the inaccurate interpretations that some philosophers of religion gave to certain texts. Today, both ancient and contemporary schools of philosophy, including the School of Alexander, provided the basis for Christian philosophers to make an accurate interpretation of the Christian Logos. However, this is fundamentally different from the reason inherent in Stoic philosophy, which is distinguished from it in terms of the search for truth in the Divine, is that it is not inherent in nature. It follows that pagan philosophers would carry a semicolon from the Logos. The fundamental difference between the authentic Christian Logos and those of Justin, Philo and all other branches of Christianity arises from the incarnation of the Logos as God.

The aim of this study was to assess the performance, microbiological profile, enzymatic profile and detection of pathogenic strains by multiplex PCR of 40 piglets (females and males) in the nursery phase. The experimental design was entirely randomised, with four treatments, five replications and sex as a blocking factor. The treatments were distributed as follows: T1 (control); T2 (Plant Extract (VE) (500ppm)); T3 (Amoxicillin (A) (20mg kg-1) and T4 (A (20mg kg-1) + VE (500ppm)). There was no influence (P>0.01) between the treatments on initial and final weight and daily weight gain, but the males in the control group had an average daily feed consumption 1.8 per cent higher (P

Water desalination (also known as desalting or desalinization) is a process for obtaining fresh (drinking) water from brackish or salty water (particularly seawater). The seawater desalination technique represents an alternative resource that provides solutions to short- and long-term water needs. Water desalination is gradually emerging as the leading solution for coping with growing water stress, i.e. the imbalance between demand for water and the quantity available. The problem of drinking water is acute on our planet, and particularly in our country, which has led to the development of seawater desalination techniques that are economical, more reliable and environmentally friendly. The Algerian government has made this a priority, particularly for the western region of the country, which has been suffering from a dramatic shortage of drinking water for several decades.

The importance of the entrepreneur has been highlighted over the last few decades, intensifying research, investment and programmes to encourage entrepreneurship. Nowadays it can be said that the study of entrepreneurship is highly relevant, not only because it helps entrepreneurs to better understand their personal needs, but also because of the economic contribution of new businesses. The decision to start an enterprise consists of several stages and requires the creation of something new and valuable. With this, the entrepreneur needs to have the devotion and commitment of time and effort necessary to make the company grow, taking calculated risks and critical decisions. Entrepreneurship is the main factor in generating economic and social development, but it can be seen that in Brazil there is a gap in relation to the subject, in terms of education, stimulating entrepreneurial initiative, creativity and innovation at all educational levels, as well as the responsibility of the government and organisations in preparing and supporting these entrepreneurs, boosting success in their businesses.

One of the main reasons why innovation has been on the rise in recent decades is because of the need for competitive advantage in the market. Society is going through a period of recognizing the importance of innovation and adapting to this culture. This book discusses this issue and relates it to the Third Sector so that it can disseminate the view that innovation should also be included in the context of non-profit organizations through, for example, social entrepreneurship. In the third sector, innovation is important in order to find new ways of meeting social demands. In other words, the focus is not economic. In this way, an innovation process in a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) is configured from the perspective of social entrepreneurship. To this end, participant observation, interviews and document analysis were carried out at an NGO in the city of Juiz de Fora/MG - Brazil. As a result, we identified the need to design a process to channel the ideas that come to the organization and, based on this, we presented a project proposal to stimulate and capture innovative ideas from society.

The main objective of this study is to provide more data on the use of natural pozzolan and perlite located in the western region of Algeria as a cement substitute for making mortars with different pozzolan percentages.The results were interpreted by DATA TAFEL. It shows the corrosion rate by correlating the potential as a function of the current density measured for several reinforced pozzolanic mortars immersed in aggressive media (accelerated corrosion) in accordance with various international recommendations.

Since their independence, most African countries have embarked on a series of reforms aimed at placing public bodies at the heart of development strategies to ensure that the legitimate needs of their populations are adequately met, and to lay the foundations for economic and social development.In order to better manage public affairs and improve the performance of public bodies, the relevant authorities have introduced reforms aimed at modernizing public administration, in line with the trend towards convergence of public-sector management practices with the rules applicable in the private sector.The aim of this book is to discuss the causal links between administrative reforms and new public management. Above all, it aims to identify and analyze the receptivity of African civil servants to managerial innovations.

This paper, entitled "Informality and its prevalence in farmer marketing in Puno 2020-2022", aims to understand and provide solutions to the informality that negatively affects economic growth, farmer productivity and social welfare (difficult to obtain credit). Although informality in the labour market has decreased in Peru over the last decade amid increased economic dynamism, it remains high, indicating the need to take measures to reduce informality and limit its harmful effects. In general, there is a need to improve the rules governing the functioning of the Peruvian labour market in order to eliminate the factors that hinder formal hiring. Based on the legal definition of informality, this article examines the general causes of this phenomenon, with a special focus on the informality of small farmers in Puno.

The work proposed in this thesis concerns the automation and monitoring of a semi-automatic ESM 10-100 bagging machine.The first part is entirely devoted to studying the operating principle of the bagging machine, by presenting the various components of the bagging machine.The second part is dedicated to the automation of the bagging machine and simulation using a S7-300 PLC.The third part deals with the monitoring of the bagging machine, using the Petri net (RdP) modeling and monitoring tool.

Several industrial sectors (cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, agri-food) are increasingly turning to the incorporation of molecules of natural origin, with original chemical and biological characteristics, into their formulations. People are becoming reluctant to consume products derived from chemical synthesis. Adding value to active ingredients of natural origin therefore represents enormous economic potential. Many oilseeds from the Congo Basin, and Gabon in particular, have a wide range of medicinal virtues thanks to the various active ingredients they contain: alkaloids, polyphenols, etc. and fats. Their chemical components are a treasure trove for the synthesis of many medicines, food additives and cosmetics. Biomolecules extracted from the oleaginous seeds of tropical plants could represent a major economic challenge, for example in industry, where they could offer a clean alternative to petrochemicals.
