The objective of this work was to determine the relationship between quantum mechanisms and their effect on photosynthetic biological models applied to atomic genetic evolution in the p53 gene of Homo sapiens. Mutations were performed in the p53 gene following evolutionary conservation parameters, especially in the 42 CpG points that are related to mutations influenced by ultraviolet radiation. These mutated sequences were compared with sequences of the same gene in several primates, using the mouse as a comparison "Outgroup". Neighbor Joining (NJ) trees and correspondence analyses were constructed with VISTA and PAUP. Genetic distances were calculated with MEGA. The results revealed that the 6 mutations in the p53 gene of Homo sapiens cause genetic divergence. It suggests a direct relationship between quantum effects and evolution. It is concluded that quantum mechanisms may play a role in genetic evolution, in relation to the photoelectric effect, Frenkel's exiton, De Förster Theory and p53 gene mutations. This supports the hypothesis that quantum effects can influence evolutionary processes at the molecular and genetic level.

Recurrent urinary tract infection (RUTI) in patients with vesicoureteral reflux is a common condition, which leads to complications. Management depends on the pathogen and antibiotic resistance present. Materials and Methods: Descriptive, cross-sectional, observational study conducted in 96 patients with vesicoureteral reflux seen in the Pediatrics Service of the Children's Hospital Dr. Roberto Gilbert Elizalde during the period 2015-2017, with the aim of determining the prevalence of recurrent urinary tract infection in this group. Results: a prevalence of recurrent urinary tract infection in patients with vesicoureteral reflux of 35.41% was obtained. The mean age of the patients was 2.92 years, the majority of patients belonged to the 1-5 years age group (n=41; 42.71%). Of the total number of patients with recurrent urinary tract infection (n=34), the majority resided in urban areas with 79.41% (n=27).

Despite the proliferation of contemporary legal and extra-legal mechanisms, violence against women, especially domestic violence, persists. It is an evil symptom of a sexist society. The following approach seeks to expose the ideological-cultural relationship between hostile actions and words and the imaginary about the role of women in entrenched social and cultural representations - of exclusion. By means of a bibliographical study and a critical appraisal of elements located in reality, the investigation aims to contribute to strengthening struggles and overcoming the many problems arising from the harmful "negative" and "weakening" interpretations given to female identity.

The important thing in each communication system is to develop and favor, through the use of the computer, the functional aspect that will allow the students to be self-sufficient in the communicative acts that they will have throughout their lives. Although the work turns out to be very risky due to the fact of attending to several communication systems at the same time, the result would be more satisfactory, because in spite of the constant limitations, the main objective was never lost sight of and this was a powerful stimulus to continue with the work.

This book is an approach to the phenomenon of sexism towards women in leadership positions in Mexican organisations. Dr. Limón reviews his own research studies and relevant data on the different barriers that women face when they seek to enter a leadership position, the implications of their exercise and the evaluations of their performance. In this sense, she identifies that gender role congruence is a social stigma that has significant effects on the way women's leadership is perceived in Mexico.

Soil degradation is a problem that affects one third of the earth's surface, affecting almost half of the world's population. This fact, in the semi-arid region, with marked water deficiency, becomes an aggravating factor for the maintenance of the biome and the survival of the population. The use of water from domestic sewage treatment plants has been shown to be a strategic practice both for forest and fodder production and for the recovery of degraded soils. The use of these waters presents technical, legal, economic and social challenges, since there are risks to human health, as well as risks of introducing contaminants into the soil, and eventually in some regions, into aquifers. These risks need to be very well balanced by the food security, nutritional and economic benefits that this water source offers, especially in arid and semi-arid regions. In addition to the water aspect, wastewater also has variable contents of suspended solids, organic matter and chemical elements and, depending on the water source, may also have excessive levels of salts, heavy metals and toxic organic compounds.

One of the biomes that is still little studied today, the Araucaria Forest, with its grandiose flora belonging to the southern region of Brazil, predominantly in the state of Santa Catarina, shows important adaptations on the part of the wild mastofauna, which in ecology are great bioindicators of the quality of the forests they inhabit. Both studies described in this book reveal, in a short time in the field, the frequency of these specimens travelling through both native and exotic forests in search of hunting grounds. In the first case, the direct search methodology was used, in which the researcher finds traces, fur, faeces and burrows where the animal nests and breeds. In the second case, in addition to the direct search, the indirect search methodology was used, where the researcher used night cameras for a month to monitor the mammals' lives 24 hours a day. The data collected revealed the presence of species that had not been seen in these forests for a long time, and that the conservation of ecological corridors is being fundamental for restructuring the populations that live here.

For over a hundred years, Porto Alegre's development has been guided by a succession of urban plans, from the General Improvement Plan of 1914 to the current Environmental Urban Development Master Plan - PDDUA, which has been in force since 2010. The guidelines and strategies for implementing programmes and projects seek to emphasise popular participation and economic, social and environmental sustainability. However, its impact on the city goes far beyond the scale of urban planning: it ends up strongly influencing the volume and shape of every new building. For this reason, it is increasingly difficult to find buildings that break with the stereotype of the isolated building in the middle of the plot, on a base that occupies as much of the land as possible. This work is based on a literature review of current studies that have addressed the issue in question, with the aim of critically analysing what has already been researched. Through the study of urban plans, we sought to understand the reasons that define the rules established to date and to describe the type-morphological inductions they promote.

This book gives an account of the process of institutionalization of the teaching profession and the teaching profession (teacher training) in Uruguay, specifically of the material school culture. Its origin, and specifically the permanences that reach up to the XXI century. Its substantive value has to do with the presentation of the different socio-historical dimensions of institutionalization from the production and reproduction of the foundational matrices. It also explores the way in which the material school culture is closely related to the patrimonial value of education and the construction of teachers' identities. The theoretical-conceptual analysis presented here is part of the author's doctoral thesis entitled: "The material school culture in teacher training and teacher education in Uruguay". The thesis was supervised by Dr. Myriam Southwell and was carried out at the Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences of the National University of La Plata, Argentina.

A college student in search of personal and bodily satisfaction; in which he flees from the misery, abuse, corruption and social injustice that is happening in his country. He leaves in search of that promised land to find a decent job and to get money to free his father from prison unjustly and feed his family. To get there he had to go through an odyssey of struggle and sacrifice. When he arrived in the country of opportunities, he did not find what he was offered, he was only sold illusions.

The emergence of constitutional jurisdictions is seen today as a veritable legal revolution. It is fair to say that constitutional justice is one of the major developments in constitutional law over the last forty years. Its development began as an American specialty, then spread to Europe after the Second World War, and was finally conquered by other continents such as Africa from the 1960s onwards. Virtually every state that has achieved independence has had such an institution. Cameroon is no exception. But the Cameroonian politician wants the country to set itself apart, by ensuring respect for the democratic bloc.

The aim of this paper is to analyse how the new management processes, instruments and arenas of the Minas Gerais State Government have been constituted since 2015, focusing on the central governance bodies. We characterised and analysed the Central Governance Bodies created since 2015, the Planning and Strategic Management Collegiate (CPGE) and the Budget and Finance Chamber (COF), as well as the one that recently preceded them, the General Coordination, Planning, Management and Finance Chamber (CCGPGF). This is a qualitative, descriptive case study in which documentary analyses and semi-structured interviews were carried out with members of the CPGE and COF, as well as technicians from the Executive Secretariat of the COF and CPGE and the former CCGPGF.

Anurans, represented by frogs, toads and tree frogs, are the largest group in the Amphibia class, with more than 6,500 species, occurring on all continents except Antarctica and some oceanic islands, with 77 per cent of their families having a tropical distribution and 14 per cent in subtropical areas of the Northern Hemisphere. The Hylidae family is widespread and well represented, and its representatives vary in size, from small to large, and generally have adhesive discs on the tips of their toes, which help with climbing. The genus Scinax Wagler, 1830, belonging to the subfamily Scinaxinae, is represented by 70 described species and occupies areas from Mexico, Argentina and Uruguay to Trinidad, Tobago and St Lucia. Due to this high number of species, high morphological conservation and the continuous discovery of new undescribed species, the genus is currently considered a taxonomic problem.

This research was presented to the Master's Degree Course of the Postgraduate Programme in Production Engineering, Area of Concentration in Quality and Productivity, at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM, RS), as a partial requirement for obtaining a Master's Degree in Production Engineering, by analysing the IDPs of the following institutions: Franciscan University Centre (UNIFRA) and Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), located in the city of Santa Maria, RS.

This project was carried out with the objective of identifying the effect of the marketing strategies used by compact supermarkets, or neighborhood supermarkets as they are being called, in the process of winning and retaining customers. The methodology used is composed of exploratory research, through a varied bibliographic reference, and field research, with the application of questionnaires with supermarket managers and consumers. The conclusions drawn from this study respond satisfactorily to the objectives of the work, since it was possible to know the appropriate marketing tools and the impact of the actions employed in the conquest and maintenance of customers in the stores of neighboring supermarkets. This shows that they are able to win the customer, taking him into the store, although they do not achieve the much desired loyalty.

This book presents the results of research carried out between 2007 and 2008 with babassu coconut breakers in the Araguaia-Tocantins region, which aimed to understand the strategies, practices and representations of these rural workers with regard to the protection of their traditional knowledge. The text is based on the need to deepen theoretical debates on the impacts of the rapprochement between the capitalist world system and the world system of traditional populations, realising the nuances of this intercultural relationship that suggest a path beyond the protection/deculturation dichotomy. This opposition has characterised discussions on the subject of protecting traditional knowledge, with debates falling into a naive, or perhaps self-interested, affirmation of the fruitfulness of the relationship between the logic of capitalism and traditional cultures, or an outright denial of the positive relationship between capitalism and native populations. It shows that these intellectual positions admit a false duality that does not always take into account the particularities of the economic life of traditional peoples and communities.

Peru has reached its 200th anniversary of independence deepening its institutional crisis, due to the absence of a vision of the future, to which is added not only the absence of political parties, the imbalance of the powers of the State, the advance of corruption, discrimination of citizens, as well as a significant concentration of the economy, in which 80% of the population does not participate. This requires a change of course, a detailed analysis of all the socio-economic, political and social variables to give way to a second republican opportunity.

The book presents all the theoretical foundations to analyze the new technology that is intended to be implemented in Ecuador because as we all know the use of voice calls through the use of packet data in communication networks, takes a very important role in this era as it is a feasible means for communication, it should be noted that the quality of voice through the use of packet data currently has many defects and that is why it is intended to introduce voice over LTE with the use of new generation networks. Volte is an evolving technology of voice service and my contribution is to determine the benefits it has and the advantages it offers when introduced as a new technology for the improvement and optimization of voice calls using packet data.

Throughout our political history, Brazil has had seven constitutions. One in the Monarchical period (1824) and six in the Republican period (1891, 1934, 1937, 1946, 1967 and 1988). A constitution is a country's highest law, which contains a set of regulatory rules that deal with everything from the form of government to citizens' rights and duties. In the history of Brazilian constitutions, there has been an alternation between more closed and more democratic regimes. The character of the governments had an impact on the approval of the charters, which were either imposed or approved by Constituent Assemblies.

Studies into the propagation of Brazilian native forest species, vegetative propagation techniques, including cuttings, are an alternative for overcoming the difficulties in propagating native species and can be used for commercial purposes, as well as helping to rescue and conserve forest genetic resources. However, some forms of propagation present limitations for the production of seedlings on a commercial scale for various native species.

Work is a right and a human need, because, from it is that the individual is included in the social environment, realizes other human rights has access to the economic and social dimensions of development. In this perspective, the State, aiming to guarantee the human right to work, has been acting in order to put into practice some actions aimed at socio-labor insertion seeking to reduce existing inequalities and situations of exclusion through public policies that intend to provide work, employment, income and citizenship to youth, especially the National Program for Access to Technical Education and Employment (Pronatec) and the National Youth Inclusion Program (Projovem). Thus, through public policies for work and income generation aimed at youth, has the State reduced inequalities and ensured the entry of this segment into the labor market? Have the "Pronatec" and "ProJovem Trabalhador" programs guaranteed youth socio-labor inclusion and socioeconomic development, ensuring dignity and citizenship?

In times when competition is becoming increasingly fierce, it is normal for new business models and types of companies to emerge all the time, a fact that increasingly accelerates organisational and economic developments. As part of this context, it should be remembered that entrepreneurship is necessary and staying in the market essential, but always with business ethics as an important guideline. Entrepreneurship and ethics are two essential factors for good and continuous performance in the market, bringing unique attributes to companies and professionals who have them as a daily premise.

À l'ère industrielle, pour changer le monde, il fallait ouvrir une usine. À l'ère de la technologie, il suffit d'ouvrir un ordinateur... Les tendances de l'enseignement universitaire dans l'ordre social, économique, politique, scientifique et technologique ont entraîné une révision de la manière de concevoir la réalité académique et de la recherche. Les exigences portent sur l'établissement d'un nouveau modèle de gestion universitaire qui conserve une flexibilité suffisante et qui, en même temps, cherche à briser les lignes déjà établies sur des bases traditionnelles entre l'État, les universités, le secteur productif et la société.

Assertive communication is extremely important in relationships in order to achieve satisfaction. These couples were accompanied as part of the process of obtaining a Master's Degree at the Fernando Pessoa University. Whatever the reason, don't stop looking for a professional, because often we may have the thought of changing, but having someone to help us get there is in turn a path to change. The objective of this book was to diagnose the management of solid waste from basic health units (UBS) in the urban area of the municipality of Pombal-PB. The methodology consisted of visits to the city hall and interviews with health agents aiming to map all the UBS of the city and the use of questionnaires applied to employees of basic health units in search of knowing the types of waste generated, analyze the segregation and packaging processes, verify the type of storage and the forms of final disposal. Subsequently, environmental control measures were proposed to protect the environment from possible damage. Based on the results, it was found that the waste generated in the UBS evaluated in this study were: infectious, chemical, sharp and common. The packaging of this waste is done in specific boxes, milky white bag with identification, common garbage cans and dumpsters. It was also found that the units did not participate in environmental education programs aimed at the importance of proper management of HSW.

Mozambique-Nampula in the Muatala neighbourhood is where one of Mozambique's breweries is located. Our focus is on assessing the extent to which this large processing plant for impala beer, 2M, Manica, has contributed to the gradual alleviation of the visible concerns of the primary needs of the surrounding population (Muatala and Marrere), mainly access roads, drinking water and health.

The aim of this book was to evaluate the effect of applying sewage sludge as a top dressing on the silvicultural development of nine native tree species planted in an area degraded by intensive grazing. To this end, three top dressing treatments were evaluated: organic fertilisation with sewage sludge, chemical fertilisation with fertiliser (NPK 20-05-20) and a control (no fertilisation). The species were planted in December 2005 and top dressing for this study began in August 2008. The response to the treatments was assessed by monitoring the silvicultural parameters Diameter at Ground Height (DAS), Height (H) and Crown Diameter (CD) until March 2009, totalling five measurements. The development of the diameter at ground height showed a statistical difference between the treatments with top dressing (NPK; sludge) and the control only in the species açoita cavalo (Luehea divaricata).

This research is related to the visible growth in the number of institutions offering bilingual education in our country, with a focus on parents' motivations for enrolling their children in bilingual schools. The research presents three important parts: how this work was carried out, the theoretical assumptions of bilingualism and bilingual schools, and finally, an analysis of the reasons given by the parents who took part in this study for choosing a school that offers bilingual education. Serving as a theoretical guide for further research, this book is suitable for teachers, researchers and parents interested in learning about bilingual schools through the impressions of other parents.

This project is presented as an articulation between several disciplines, as it involves a large number of physical, chemical and biological concepts. It was carried out at the Escuela de Educación Técnica N°2, "Pbro. José María Colombo", Gualeguaychú, Entre Ríos, Argentina with students in the Higher Cycle. On the one hand, it tries to work on interdisciplinarity by attacking the compartmentalisation of knowledge, since after many years of work it is known that this is the way in which students appropriate knowledge. On the other hand, it aims to investigate the production of electrical energy from plants, as it is a technology with few years of research.

Guayusa leaf, which is the main raw material for the project, is found in significant quantities in the Province of Morona Santiago (ECUADOR), where the product is consumed in abundant quantities. The industrialization of a typical raw material in the province of Morona Santiago, such as guayusa, will serve to take advantage of its production in the locality and will encourage its producers to improve the conditions of planting and harvesting, so that they can obtain a quality product for marketing and further processing to obtain finished products that meet the needs of consumers, such as guayusa tea. This project brings together several studies, such as: the market study, the technical study, the economic study and the financial study. The project will provide important information to produce and commercialize natural tea made from guayusa leaves in the province of Morona Santiago, giving rise to enter the market, eliminating oligopolies, opening sources of work and contributing to the health of those who prefer a tea to a pill to relax and eliminate ailments.
