In South America, the consumption of mate is the habit most closely related to man's daily life. In Argentina, as well as in Uruguay and Paraguay, every morning eight out of ten people wake up in search of this infusion, which has transcended the region in different ways, spreading to the six continents. This infusion was originally used by the Guarani, who cultivated the yerba mate plant and later passed on this habit to the Jesuits in the Misiones, who, using rudimentary germination techniques, managed to cultivate the plant in the area that is currently the largest producer of yerba mate in the world, comprising the province of Misiones, part of Corrientes and Paraguay. In the Chaco and Mesopotamian plains, mate is a drink that has become the almost exclusive breakfast of country people, who wake up with the first rays of light. This infusion has spread its consumption throughout the country, to the point that it has become a representative symbol of any Argentine anywhere in the world.

In the second half of the 80s, cotton growing was hit by a crisis largely undermined by the fall and volatility of world cotton prices and, in part, by the country's economic difficulties. This situation was the starting point for the Bretton Woods international bodies to question the CFDT model. According to these institutions, the organizations in charge of cotton marketing were cumbersome, costly and often opaque, allowing no real control and leading to misappropriation of funds to the detriment of producers. Between 1994 and 1997, Cameroonian producers, like those in other countries, benefited from a rise in world prices and the devaluation of the CFA franc. Indeed, since the early 2000s, the cotton sector has been the victim of another crisis, the origin of which is attributed to subsidies from the United States, the European Union and China. This crisis has led to a drop in production and export revenues, resulting in deficits in the sales figures of African cotton companies.

Objective: To determine whether there is a relationship between obesity and depression in adolescents. Method: the study design was correlational and cross-sectional. The study universe was 60 adolescents with a BMI of thirty or more, indicating some degree of obesity. The instrument used was the Beck Depression Inventory (second edition), the BDI-II. The obesity variable was classified according to WHO guidelines. Results: Regarding the level of depression, 68.3% of the participants were found to be within the normal range, 20.0% had mild mood disturbance, 10.0% had moderate depression, and only 1.7% were found to be extremely depressed. In relation to obesity 66.7% of the participants are in class 1, 25.0% in class 2, 6.7% in class 3 and only 1.7% in class 4, which is the highest. In the application of Spearman's correlation test to the data obtained, no statistically significant relationship was observed between the variables obesity and depression.

This paper analyses Brazilian energy integration initiatives with Venezuela, Bolivia, Argentina and Paraguay. The hypothesis that guided the research derives from the Realist Theory of International Political Economy, according to Robert Giplin (2001). The historical recovery of the underlying logic of each integration process allowed us to verify the extent to which the political objectives of consolidating Brazilian leadership were favoured.

So, let us treat this new book-friend as what it is, an insurgent, rebellious material; possibly subject to criticism but ignoble if it is of a destructive or persecutory nature. Let us keep it in good custody, and I suggest, dear reader, that we learn by heart the fundamentals of it and always practice it; in all our investigative actions, even the non-academic ones. Thus, these recommendations, method and knowledge cannot be separated from us in any circumstance and will be of great use to you in your research.

It is essential to maintain the general level of prices to safeguard purchasing power, otherwise people's lives will suffocate. In a specific context, the DRC is experiencing a number of instabilities. With spending at times crowding out development, it is important to keep an eye on the variation in each index, which could lead to a monetary haemorrhage. This is why, after a decade of suspicions about deviations in the management of public funds, we took part in empirical verification of the existing relationship between the budget deficit and the inflation rate, but also the latter with other macroeconomic factors. Analysis of the results of our study revealed that the exchange rate and the money supply have a positive impact on the general price level; net credit to the state has a negative impact on the general price level; while the budget balance has no impact on inflation. Thus, we have seen that in addition to monetary factors, real factors also affect the general price level.

The main objective of the research was to analyse the causes of the UNA No te calles university reform movement of 2015. For this purpose, a conceptual framework was constructed in which the following categories of analysis are taken into account: university field, university capital, management of tensions, crisis of hegemony, crisis of legitimacy, institutional crisis, decapitalisation of public universities, commercialisation of the university, inclusive exclusion, perpetuation of pre-existing exclusion processes, which guide the analysis of the data obtained in the empirical research. It is based on a qualitative approach study with an explanatory scope. Semi-structured interviews with key informants and matrices of secondary sources, discourse analysis and documents were used as instruments. The results show that the UNA No te calles university mobilisation of 2015 was based on an anti-corruption movement whose main cause was the institutional deterioration of the university.

This text takes a historical look at the family as a system, questioning it in its different paradigms. Starting from the general theory of systems, it conceptualises the identified patient and his or her place in the family system. This is followed by an analysis of the professional opinion of systemic family therapists working on violence issues, which is compiled by means of an interview. Finally, the author concludes on the role of the identified patient in family systems experiencing violence.

For companies in the storage and distribution industry, currently maintaining a stock without product turnover means loss because it is a capital investment that until its moment of sale will be generating a storage cost that directly impacts the company's profit. Using technologies that are friendly to day-to-day operations can facilitate storage management by indicating crucial points such as minimum stock, maximum stock, internal location of products, direct integration with partners, etc. This information can help WMS management systems to adopt distribution or sales strategies that are more improved to the real situation of the WMS in order to avoid commercial losses by managing to maintain the added value to the product instead of losing it due to the cost of storing it.

El Cabril, estudio y artículos geográficos, is the result of years of research by Professor Muñoz since his student days. It gathers information on a geographical reality that transcends the regional: El Cabril, the first centralised disposal site for very low, low and intermediate level nuclear waste, as well as the geographical realities inherent to it. A different perspective to that of official technical publications with a much more limited dissemination.

This research identifies the forms of interactivity and personalisation of the Flipboard application, the factors that have driven the customisation of content in web journalism and the importance of personalisation for the user. In addition, the relationship between creation rights and content remixing on Flipboard is verified. The research was based on authors such as Lemos (2004), Lévy (1999), Palácios (2002), Prado (2011), Primo (2011), among others, and was based on a bibliographical survey of these and other authors who work with the theme of web journalism and cyberculture. Field research was also carried out in order to understand how the personalisation and interactivity resources are seen and used by the application's users.

Physiotherapy is a new profession compared to some others. Its teaching in Brazil was born in the 1950s. This work is based on my Doctoral Research in Education carried out at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and defended in 2010. In it, it is possible to see the evolution of physiotherapy teaching in Brazil over the years and its three curricula emanating from MEC resolutions. It is also possible to see how the Pedagogical Projects of the courses in the North region are in relation to the National Curricular Guidelines.

The purpose of this research is to estimate how sectoral asymmetries, evaluated through spatial economic concentration, affect the economic growth of the Northern Macro Region, comprised for this research by the regions of Tumbes, Piura, Lambayeque, La Libertad, Cajamarca and Ancash. For the calculation, a parametric estimation of panel data with fixed effects has been used, through a convergence model conditional on spatial economic concentration.The results affirm that the production of the Northern Macro Region is concentrated in the tertiary sector, and that this concentration is relevant for its economic growth and convergence among the regions that comprise it. In addition, it has been possible to establish that the more concentrated this sector is, the lower the macro regional economic growth will be.

The text PERSPECTIVES IN DISPUTE, BEYOND COMMON SENSE - Socio-cultural and environmental realities in the province and city of Esmeraldas, makes an x-ray from the social, cultural, environmental point of view of the province and city of Esmeraldas; gathering opinions from the academic community, public and private departments, community leaders and social actors. Before the partial attention of the Central State and Local Governments, the civil society reproduces agenciamientos in each of its territorial contexts, thus establishing socio-community policies for the benefit of its own inhabitants. Finally, the perceptions argued in the text show a continuous dispute of the authorities for power, but at the same time, the use of abuse against the local society.

When we talk about comparative literature, we often lose ourselves in all kinds of speculation, as is notorious in the human sciences. But that's forgetting that we're dealing with a discipline in search of its identity and, above all, its scientific survival. Many celebrities have already commented on this subject, but without really exhausting its entropy. It's true that science lives from its daily refutations; the contradictions of comparative literature always tend to make it disappear by drowning it in the meanders of general literature. Despite this, a major question remains: is comparative literature academic flesh or an appendage of literature in general? These are the profound and objective reasons that have spurred us on to conduct wide-ranging research in this field.

This document presents an analysis of the national and international economic environment and the health sector, with special attention to the problem generated by the presence of the Covid-19 virus in the economy of Ecuador. Inflation in Ecuador and the world, the difficulties present in the supply chain due to the paralysis and consequent fall in the demand for goods and services derived from the health emergency, and then after the reactivation of the economies, presenting an excess of demand, generating bottlenecks and shortages of inputs; and finally in February 2022, the outbreak of the armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine, causing shortages of some products that the two countries are world producers, have caused price increases and economic destabilization worldwide.The development of new technologies has been present due to the presence of Covid-19. Companies are making a change in their planning and strategies to ensure medium and long term survival.

Mali suffers from macrocephaly, a wasting characteristic of a lack of protein supply to the whole body, where it is needed. The heart and head, which should be at the service of the whole organism, are struggling to work together to bring well-being to the whole of society, especially the human capital "white blood cells" of this social organism. Political elites monopolize illicitly acquired wealth, depriving thousands of people of the capacity to create jobs. We are witnessing an atrophy of the members, a weakening of their ability to create economic capital and the hypertrophy of "Governance". The government continues to implement a structural adjustment program, recommended by the IMF to help the national economy develop, diversify and attract foreign investors. But the country's main asset - domestic savings linked to its dynamic trade and strong diaspora - remains untapped, because it is poorly organized. Poverty has increased in Mali, and terrorism has spread throughout the West African sub-region.

Until a few years ago, quinoa was considered a lost crop of the Incas, but today it is a real alternative for food security worldwide. It is now cultivated under very diverse conditions in areas far from its centre of origin. It is capable of producing grain of high biological value, even at altitudes of 4 000 m above sea level, and tolerates stress factors such as water deficit and soil salinity.

The book that the reader has in hand addresses the metaphysical problem of the mind-body relationship. The aim is to present the various theories of mind that have emerged throughout the history of philosophy. It reaffirms here the theory of the "Three Worlds Thesis" of K. Popper's "Three Worlds Thesis", with emphasis on World 3, as one of the most ingenious explanations of the problem. At the same time, the insufficiency of monisms and dualisms in trying to answer the problem is pointed out. Of course, this problem has undergone several changes in its approach, as research on the human brain has advanced considerably since the "decade of the brain" (1990). Therefore, together with the problem of the philosophy of science, it is one of the greatest problems in the history of contemporary philosophy, requiring further study.

Palliative care is also preventive care, which requires the health professional to have specific skills in ethics, communication, symptom management, family support, support in the grieving process and teamwork. Addressing the suffering of the person facing the last stage of life and their family, helping them to live until the end, requires rigorous care that focuses on the well-being of those they care for. In this sense, it is essential to provide excellent care to the person and family facing the end of life. The research study focused on communication as a non-pharmacological strategy for symptom control. Communication is understood by the study participants as a strategy in symptom management that can be carried out in many different ways. The family should be involved in the care process. The knowledge of the sick person is fundamental for a more individualized intervention and therapeutic humor is an important communication strategy in Palliative Care.

Forensic Sciences arouse curiosity and interest, presenting several aspects, one of them is Forensic Entomology, which studies insects in the following areas: urban, stored products and medico-legal. By analysing the data found, some of the following knowledge can be obtained: estimation of time of death, displacement of the corpse, in addition to the analysis of mistreatment, narcotics, damage to real estate by insects, presence of insects in food, among others. This book brings the results of a research carried out with three carcasses of domestic pigs, this animal was chosen for its histological similarity to humans, when analysing the results, it provided a knowledge of the necrophagous dipterans of the place, together with a possible pattern of species that can be used in estimating the time of death and the need for more studies in the area, for a greater compilation of data.

The plant material was collected in the municipality of Espinal, Veracruz, Mexico, showing symptoms of brown to black necrosis that spread in the part of the sheath originating from a stalk node of the corn plant. Due to the above, the objectives of the present work were: to identify the fungus causing corn stalk rot by morphological and molecular tests, and to evaluate the efficacy of chemical products for its control. For this purpose, isolations were made under laboratory conditions, and the isolates obtained were purified by monosporic cultures. The morphology of the isolates was performed in selective culture media CLA, SNA and PDA. DNA extraction was performed by Dellaporta Mini method, PCR amplification and sequencing was performed with ITS primers. Mycelial inhibition test was performed with the fungicides Thiabendazole (Tecto 60), Captan (Captan 50 PH), Mancozeb (Manzate) and Bacillus subtilis strain QST (Serenade).

This paper will address the relationship between cinema and Chilean society from the 1970s to 2000, in order to delve into the conception of Chilean women. It will seek to analyse the representation of women in the national cinematographic discourse. To then problematise it with the feminist discourse of the last decades. To do this, four films will be studied in depth, "Julio comienza en Julio" (1979) by Silvio Caiozzi, "Sussi" (1988) by Gonzalo Justiniano, "El chacotero sentimental" (1999) by Cristián Galaz and "Joven y alocada" (2012) by Marialy Rivas, in order to analyse the different representations given to women in terms of sexuality, and then analyse the changes and continuities that cinema has had in the representation of the female image.

Technology has provided many improvements to civilization for a long time, with this, all the various areas of human activity have appropriated its benefits to make their tasks more agile and precise. With modern technology it is possible to use a universe of possibilities that were unthinkable until recently, such as simulating car races, machine parts and even talking by video call with people on the other side of the world, which makes the challenge of making technology viable as an essential tool in the teaching-learning process a difficult task. Putting the resources of audio, video, images, research, instant communication, messages and an infinite range of tools at the service of education require first of all observe the physical space and methodology that fits the school pedagogy within the process in question. The training of professionals inserted in education in the face of technological resources, aiming at the formation of individuals prepared to face the labor market within the reality proposed by the globalized world, citizens aware of their rights and duties.

The internet has a great influence on social relationships and there are several types of virtual relationships. "Catfish" is the term used to describe an individual who forges his identity to enter into a virtual relationship. Based on Behaviour Analysis, the objective was to present a functional analysis of the "catfish", identify its characteristics and detect possible functions of the class of responses from six episodes of the series with the same name.

The research discusses the meanings attributed by secondary school teachers to school indiscipline in the context of the Collective Pedagogical Working Hours (HTPC), in a school of the São Paulo state network in the Piracicaba region. The theme of the discussions among the teachers, mediated by the coordinating teacher and researcher, was indiscipline, a suggestion of the group of teachers participating in the research. The field research involved fourteen secondary school teachers, who met for six meetings in the second half of 2009.

This book is the result of an academic investigation that aims to analyze elements that have been contributing to the construction of the professional teaching identity of History students, in the context of the curricular reform of the undergraduate courses at UFPE. For this endeavor, we understand that this identity constitution occurs through the interlinking of biographical, personal, social and professional elements, with initial training having a privileged place in this development. Within this framework, the study allowed us to infer that the elements participating in the professional identity construction of History students are relational and procedural, within the scope of the dialog between individual-society, with emphasis on the identification with the field of History and with teaching through: experiences in high school, relationships between students and with academic disciplines in the field of education, relationships built with teachers considered a reference during the course. Also noteworthy is the theory-practice relationship experienced in the compulsory internship, in the subject seminars (work presentations) and participation in programs such as PIBID.

This book aimed to diagnose the current process of management of solid urban waste in the municipality of Pombal - PB, and propose the management of the same in a more appropriate way in the face of local conditions.The method of diagnosing was based on a bibliographic survey, interview to the competent body and the application of questionnaires to the population, in all neighborhoods of the municipality. With the result of this study it was noticeable that the majority of the population needs to be informed about environmental issues, so that in this way they properly manage their waste. The municipal government is already taking some steps to reduce the impacts generated by the lack of proper management of its waste, but some points still need to be taken into account, such as working mainly to raise awareness of the population.
