Access to technological devices has been gaining more and more space in the market, and mobile devices have become the most consumed technological product today. And with them came changes from the way we consume reading to the way we communicate and interact with the outside world. Over the years the weight has decreased, and the amount of content available has increased, thus facilitating portability and speeding up the writing and reading of various things. Despite the applications for production and text and sharing, none, until today, presented the functionality of help to the writer, of that platform. With this in mind, the central objective of this final course project is to develop an application where users can write stories, and help in a financial way other users who end up sympathising and clearly if desired, being able to choose between the options of times and values that can contribute, in this way it becomes a donor, each user who signs up can break at the moment when it suits him.

Although information about the life of Guillaume de Rubruck is very scarce, it is known that he met with famous people of his time. He was close to King Louis IX and on his behalf traveled to Mongolia. After returning to France, Rubruk sent the king a report that has survived to this day - "Notes on a journey to the eastern countries", containing information about the geography, manners and religion of the Mongol Empire.Travel Guillaume Rubruk gave a lot of new for its time information about the countries he visited, and his observation allowed him to notice many valuable and important details from the life of the Mongols of the XIII century. Rubruk's work is justly considered to be one of the most important sources on the history of the East available in Western European literature of the late Middle Ages.Having understood the circumstances at the Mongol court, Rubruk came to the decisive conclusion that all attempts to preach Catholicism in Mongolia were in vain. On his way back, he met a mission of five Dominican friars who had letters from the Roman Pope to Sartak and Munkae. They were going to preach Catholicism among the Tatars, but Rubruk explained to them in detail the hopelessness of the endeavor.

The high mortality of bats due to impacts on wind farms has raised concern worldwide. This phenomenon may be even more serious in a megadiverse country with important knowledge gaps like Brazil. In order to create a tool to help reduce this conflict, we generated a map of the sensitivity of bats to the impacts of wind farms and evaluated the areas of conflict in the current and expansion scenarios of this sector. For this, we performed a deductive modelling of habitat suitability that allowed us to refine the information on the distribution of these animals in the country, and we analysed functional attributes and landscape characteristics that are related to the risk of impact of these developments. In addition, we overlaid the sensitivity mapping with the location of wind farms present in the country and with the areas of wind potential. Our results showed that the Caatinga region deserves special attention in the current scenario.Among the conflict areas we found that 0.5% of the evaluated areas represent sites with high sensitivity and high wind potential.

Hospital logistics is a complex field, encompassing inventory management, medical and pharmaceutical supplies, internal distribution of healthcare products and patient transport. The issues and challenges it faces are numerous: (1). Cost management: hospitals must strike a balance between the quality of service they offer their patients and their limited financial capacity. (2). Time optimization: in the hospital environment, every minute counts to save a life or improve a patient's condition. Efficient logistics are essential to avoid delays and errors. (3). Health safety: healthcare products must be stored in optimal conditions to avoid contamination or alteration before use. (4). Technological integration: with the rapid advance of digital technologies, it is becoming essential for hospitals to use these tools to improve their supply chain (computerized inventory management, for example)......

Contemporaneity is marked by a thinking that takes into account issues of sustainability and a more symbiotic relationship between man and nature. In this sense, engineering has been changing and adapting technologies and techniques that aim at actions less harmful to the environment; such a process occurs through the implementation of a system for capturing solar energy and transforming it into electrical energy. In view of this situation, this book proposes the adaptation of one of the buildings of the University of the Campanha Region (URCAMP) to this trend, which in itself would be an important reason, given the need for civil engineering to propose changes within the context to which it belongs. Even so, this study does not focus exclusively on these issues, but also sought to add financial factors because they facilitate the application of such measures, since this study is part of a capitalist reality and this peculation could be used to promote research or as various investments.

The thirteen chapters that form this book are the result of research carried out throughout the years 2018 and 2019, within the scope of the Research Group in Applied Human and Social Sciences of the University Center of Santa Fé do Sul-UNIFUNEC. They represent the individual and collective effort of my students, who through theoretical and empirical research built their results with hard work. The participation of each author in Congress, Symposia and Research Meetings was essential to the structuring and final formatting of this work.

This book is aimed at SME managers, marketing directors, consultants and business school students. The author highlights the marketing challenges faced by small and medium-sized businesses and the main constraints they face. Without claiming to be exhaustive, this work provides new insights into Tunisian marketing within SMEs in the industrial sector and industry-related services, a field that is being invented day by day. The first part is designed for readers seeking theoretical knowledge on the fundamentals of marketing in the context of small and medium-sized enterprises. The second part focuses on the marketing component of the "Innovation, Economic Development and Employment" Project (GIZ) and the role of marketing within the companies benefiting from the program.

The Crop, Livestock and Forest Integration system is a good alternative technology for improvements in the agricultural sector. The present study presents the characterisation of livestock in the municipality of Mesópolis/SP and the objective of disseminating the silvipastoral system. The data were obtained through interviews with producers in visits to properties with dairy cattle and beef cattle. Fifty (50) producers were interviewed, where they described characteristics of their properties and production areas. It was found favourable characteristics for the implementation of the silvopastoral system and interest of livestock producers.

This book aims to analyse the feasibility of using rainwater from the Alto dos Franceses Condominium, located in the municipality of São Luís/MA, for non-potable purposes such as garden irrigation and floor washing. To this end, the catchment area of the roof, the rainfall index recorded in the municipality and the water demand for the common areas of the Condominium were considered. The various elements of the system were dimensioned, such as gutters, conductors and the reservoir that will be used to store rainwater.

The book presents an investigation into the perception of public power in Mexico's 5th most important municipality, which, after the Revolution, has only been exercised by two political parties - PRI and PAN - and has been disputed by many groups as a spoil of resources, particularly urban resources and services; from which an intentional sample of 14 members of its political elite was taken, showing, on the one hand, their political pragmatism, ignoring or disregarding contexts and, on the other, imposing their rules of the game on the whole municipality.

The exploration of formative assessment in the area of Language and Literature for the baccalaureate level showed inadequacies due to the absence of procedural and attitudinal content in students from first to third BGU. In order to demonstrate this, a qualitative research was carried out, which included an analysis of the quarterly exams and an interview with teachers and authorities.

An analysis of constructivism, considering the different variables and points of view from a philosophical, social and psychological conception, allows us to have a more complete vision of this position and its benefits to achieve a quality education with truly meaningful learning in our students. Having clear that all constructive learning involves a construction that is done through a mental process that ends with the acquisition of new knowledge, we can understand that the previous knowledge that the student possesses will be key to the construction of this new knowledge. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the different situations where constructivism has been linked to the Educational Reform in Chile, as far as psychological and didactic aspects are concerned; however, it is worth mentioning the importance and transcendence of the constructivist theoretical and educational position, which cannot be reduced to its incidence in this reform process, basically because these usually involve numerous relations with educational policies that, logically, refer to political problems.

The formation of mathematical thinking begins from the first day of gestation, the brain uses it as one more of its tools and at the same time it can be used as a new pedagogy. But for that it is necessary to change what is understood as mathematics until today. Which can lead to the strengthening of the algebraic world of the student, being used in his behavior; unipersonal, social, familiar, so much in the classrooms with the teachers and the same parents. Since the fear of mathematics comes from the lack of understanding, the functioning of the brain.

This text discusses the emergence of international environmental law, because from it emerges the need for the recognition of protection for natural resources, including water. Subsequently, an explanation of environmental responsibility on the part of the State and individuals is presented, and a line of jurisprudence that reflects the Constitutional Court's treatment of water as a human right is reviewed.

The study presents the perception of industrial workers about their own process of depression and the care to which they were subjected and describes the worker's journey to close the medical diagnosis, identify which treatment they underwent, verify the post-treatment condition and recommend improvements for health promotion. The analysis shows that referrals to specialised services are not being effective enough to ensure adherence to treatment, avoid abandonment and contribute to the worker's recovery and better management of the disease. Depression continues to be treated primarily through pharmacotherapy. Psychotherapy has not achieved the necessary adherence to fulfil its role. The existence of a therapeutic project is not perceived, the bonds are fragile and there is little involvement with the family. The results point to aspects related to the care service and the organisation of work that could be improved, including the attitude of leadership, treatment and the relationship between managers and workers, management of the work routine, monitoring of workers and access to psychotherapy.

The possibility that the existence of a football team in a given location may be able to attract economic investment and improve economic performance has been the argument of government officials and leaders who advocate financial support for these teams. Based on allegations like this, from 2010 onwards, some football teams in Brazil began a movement of spatial relocation, a recent phenomenon that had the economic factor as a motivational background, and these teams were offered incentives through public subsidies or assignment of administration and economic exploitation, sometimes free of charge of public sports equipment. The book points out the possible occurrence of positive economic impacts for a municipality due to the existence of a football team and the perception that the actors involved in the process have in relation to this impact.

This research work was carried out in the clinical analysis laboratory Servicios de Referencia in the city of Xalapa Veracruz, where the isolations of genital Mycoplasmas were carried out from patients who came to this laboratory (external patient) or from basic laboratories that do not perform the test and sent their samples to this laboratory (maquila service), therefore it has a representative population from the region of Xalapa and its surroundings. The intention of this work is to address the problem of resistance to antibiotics established for the treatment of Mycoplasma hominis and Ureaplasma urealyticum in people living in the city of Xalapa, Veracruz. Through this work it is possible to know the behavior of these pathogens and establish a background regarding the incidence of genital mycoplasmas in the population, the age range and gender with greater predominance, as well as the effectiveness of antibiotics, in order to administer the appropriate treatment.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have been widely used as a tool to support decision making in the management of river basins and their resources. A GIS is a system composed of: data, computer programmes, equipment, people and procedures. When choosing these components, some issues must be observed and carefully planned, such as: the available resources, the profile of the users and the products to be created. Planning increases the chances of successful implementation and utilisation of the MIS. To assist managers of organisations active in water resources management - Basin Committees, Water Agencies and Non-Governmental Organisations - in the planning stage of the Geographic Information System, this Manual was developed. The material presented here is the result of the master's thesis in Water Resources Management and Regulation (ProfÁgua - UERJ), defended by the author in August 2018.

This book presents the design and development of an aluminium can crushing machine, in order to optimise the recycling line. For the implementation of this machine it was necessary to use some devices, pneumatic and electro-pneumatic; electrical devices; Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and mechanical mechanisms. With the implementation of this equipment, it was observed a greater facility for the automation of the process, obtaining better results in the point of view of safety in addition to the proportional increase of recycling. Thus, this machine contributes to the reduction of efforts for people working with recyclable materials and consequently will influence the form of example for future work.

Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is characterised by ischaemic damage to heart muscle tissue following thrombosis or vasospasm over an atherosclerotic plaque, and is responsible for 12 million deaths worldwide. Most deaths occur within the first few hours of symptoms, which worsen over time. Stem cell therapy has been used in patients with significant loss of heart function as a result of myocardial infarction, highlighting the advantage of using these cells in the treatment of infarcted patients, showing the relevance of this technique in improving the patient's prognosis. This book aims to provide a literature review of myocardial infarction and cell therapy used as a treatment method for this disease.

Education in Brazil is guided by the Law of Guidelines and Bases (LDB) and is based on the principles of pluralism, freedom and tolerance of ideas. PIBID is inserted in the school context as a tool of government action in the structuring of education, and aims to encourage and improve teacher training through the practice of multidisciplinary and innovative methodologies to improve the quality of public education. PIBID-BIO UFSJ intends to insert the method of teaching science by research in schools, having as cross-cutting axes molecular biology and evolution applied under the theme "From Plant to Medicine". Despite the institutional recognition of the program, the working group experienced difficulties in carrying out the proposed activities. This impediment is related to the restrictions imposed by state policies, especially those linked to the implementation of CBC's and learning assessment policies. We seek in this work to explore how public policies aimed at education are interpreted in the context of schools participating in PIBID-Bio UFSJ and to reflect on the power discourses expressed in these relationships.

The pedagogical practices that are carried out in the faculty of education of the University of San Buenaventura and the coherence of the practice regulations with the interventions in the classroom. Faced with this situation, a biographical-narrative research in education was developed, which does not focus on a propositional perspective, but is configured from a look of analysis and interpretation, so it was the experiences and hermeneutic conversations of teachers that became the focus of the research. The book sought to investigate and analyze the different regimes of truth that underlie the pedagogical practices and discourses of teachers in training, taking a distance and without judging, in order to find a more coherent regime of truth. The truth that for Foucault is about speaking frankly and convincingly.

Haemorrhoidal disease is the most common proctological pathology, however only 10% require surgical management. This book aims to describe the surgical management of internal haemorrhoids in a referral centre in Manizales between 2010 and 2017. This is a retrospective, descriptive study of a population diagnosed with grade II, III and IV haemorrhoids, who underwent haemorrhoidectomy between 2010 and 2017 at SES Hospital de Caldas in Manizales, with a 12-month follow-up. A total of 809 patients were diagnosed, of whom 93 (11.5%) underwent surgery, 59.1% were men, with an average age of 55.8 years. The main surgical indication was bleeding (38.7%), rectal pain (22.6%) and sensation of mass (15%). The majority corresponded to grade III (36.6%) and grade II (25.8%). The conventional technique was the most commonly performed (69.9%), of which the open Milligan Morgan technique (61.3%), followed by the closed Ferguson technique (8.6%). Of the non-conventional (30.1%), the endoscopic approach for band ligation was used in 20 patients (21.5%), Harmonico scalpel (4.3%) and PPH endograft (4.3%).

In recent years there has been a growing awareness of the complex interaction between the development of life on Earth, the sea levels that allow marine platforms to be populated by organisms around the continents, a habitable climate and Plate Tectonics. This interaction is so decisive that modern theories do not conceive the development of life, towards the highly complex levels it has acquired, without the existence of tectonics. Through four chapters, this book deals with different cases where the close relationship between Plate Tectonics, life and climate throughout the history of the Earth can be analyzed. The analysis of these topics is aimed at teachers, students and the general public. The objective is that these contents should serve as another tool to help in the conservation of resources and preservation of natural environments in the face of the current tensions that exist between the global economy and ecosystems.

Personal Marketing is a tool for valuing the human being in all its attributes and characteristics. In the individual context, Personal Marketing arose from the need to have an indispensable tool in differentiating a professional in the labor market. It is the starting point for projecting image, that is, the brand of the staff, with the aim of developing their CHA (knowledge, skills and attitudes), launching themselves in the labor market and sustaining the product. It is to publicize or "sell" your image, giving yourself the advantages in social and professional encounters, turning them into possible business.

Jaime Esteban Rodriguez Acurio, (Latacunga - 1990) from his school the "Immortal" Vicente Leon, was inclined to mathematics and physics, finding his passion for science and technology, finishing his studies with one of the best averages of his class, then Jaime Esteban moved to the city of Quito to continue his university studies at the prestigious Equinoctial Technological University, where he follows the passion for numbers, choosing the career of Petroleum Engineering. In his alma mater he meets professors that would mark his professional career such as Baldeón, Guerra, Izurieta; learning everything from them and putting them into action until the end of his career. He completed his university studies and later applied for a Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, which would be the beginning of all his research in this branch of science and technology, thus fulfilling one of his dreams of contributing his knowledge to the Hydrocarbon Industry of the country and the world.

During the 21st century there have been transformations and technological developments that have improved in many aspects processes that were being worked and adapted to the needs of people according to the existing technology of the time. Since this century, advances in technology allow that communication is no longer just another way to express a feeling, a motivation or a comment, but a way to interact in a more effective and dynamic way with the environment and the people who are part of it. However, on many occasions we use language in different communication channels (social networks, blogs, chat, forums, e-mail, among others) without realizing how we do it. In teaching, especially in the virtual modality, the integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) makes possible a synchronous and asynchronous communication with the participants; it is necessary to have a good interaction that promotes, strengthens and motivates the means and mediations immersed in the technology to make possible a fluid communication with the receiver and allows to strengthen the teaching and learning processes.

As a maker of images, I am interested in approaching certain aesthetic features that have been present in the cultural manifestations of visual creators who have had the ability to imagine a possibility to embody the vital moment of their existence, containing their conception of the world. From a perspective of back and forth or vice versa, which I call the principle of reversibility as a conceptual argument, I try to explain the behaviour of passive resistance that emerges in the Afro-American cultural development materialised in their aesthetic expressions and that by analogy I can relate to certain defence mechanisms used by some animals and plants in nature, components that describe strategies of resistance used by slaves, indigenous people and mestizos in America, which apparently seem to obey a syncretic behaviour, however, I dare to say that they refer more to a cultural masking, to an underhand transfiguration in the mixture and in the survival of traditions of Afro-American cultures.

This work has as its theme the sense of social and political inclusion of the National Student Assistance Program - PNAES for the student of the Computer Science Course Integrated to High School of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Tocantins / IFTO - Campus Araguaína. The data indicate that students attribute social, political and educational inclusion to PNAES, because this public policy guarantees excluded students the right to study with equality through affirmative actions aimed at permanence in basic education in full courses, such as the computer course integrated to high school. However, based on the narratives of the students surveyed, it was concluded that the actions and resources of the program are insufficient to serve all vulnerable students, from the computer course integrated to the high school of IFTO, Araguaína campus, and, therefore, it is suggested that the actions and resources of PNAES be expanded.
