In Mexico, Higher Secondary Education was immersed in a series of modifications that established the Common Curriculum Framework for competencies in the country. The present document is the result of the application of a proposal with ludic techniques in the subject of Self-knowledge and Personality for a public high school constituted in part by teachers and students Wixárikas known as Huicholes, located in the north of Jalisco and belongs to a University recognized for its academic quality.

The work entitled "Monograph of the historical-pedagogical process" is a fundamentally theoretical and methodological construction that favors the study of this process and its essential categories. For students who are trained in the pedagogical sphere, this monograph is a valuable document that allows them to reflect on the evolution of education, the school and pedagogical thought throughout the ages. This knowledge is extremely important for the understanding and improvement of current professional pedagogical practice.

To investigate the history of Mongolia and China in the thirteenth century, one must scrutinize three sources that can be trusted: Zhao Hong's "Meng-da bei-lu" ("A Complete Description of the Mongol Tartars") and Peng Dai and Xu Ting's "Hei-da shi-lue" ("Brief Information on the Black Tartars"), and finally Li Zhichang's "Chang-chun zhen-zhen si-yu ji" ("Note on the Journey to the West of the Righteous Chang-chun"). Carpini traveled to the East, over 770 years ago. What was the final destination of his mission - Tatarstan or China? At that time, present-day Mongolia and the surrounding territories up to the Bering Strait were called Tataria. He set out on his journey with Benedict from Poland and Stephen from Bohemia. Benedict was an interpreter and assistant Carpini. Benedict, by the way, himself left a description of the history of their diplomatic mission, impressions about the organization of life and life in Mongolia. However, his book "On the Journey of the Lesser Brothers to the Tatars" was published only in 1839.

The international institutional framework concerning the environmental dimension of sustainable development is characterized by the proliferation of legal instruments and institutions that generate broad global environmental governance. Studies have shown that this circumstance has fostered the configuration of a fragmented management with little coordination among the multiple international institutions that operate within the multilateral environmental system. Despite this growth in environmental institutions, the worrying loss of biological diversity, the degradation of ecosystems, the effects of climate change and persistent poverty have raised doubts about their efficiency. This environmental institutional reality stimulated a political and academic debate at the international level that led to a reform process whose primary intention was to strengthen coordination among the main multilateral entities with a view to ensuring greater efficiency in the fulfillment of their legal and operational mandates.

This book endeavours to objectively address the power of suggestion and the implantation of false memories in individuals and their effects in criminal proceedings, especially during the criminal interrogation of the accused and the hearing of victims and witnesses of criminal offences. We analyse the main flaws that may arise in the production of testimonial evidence, as it is the most widely used means of proof in Brazilian criminal proceedings. There is a brief analysis of the process of memory formation, as well as the interferences that may arise in this process. In this work, we also mention the consequences that may arise from an unsuccessful enquiry, in the investigative phase and in the procedural phase itself, by the police authority, judges and members of the Public Prosecutor's Office, and the obstacles that may arise during the investigation of the real truth of the facts and, consequently, for the realisation of justice.

This paper aims to analyse the effects of the innovation strategies that firms choose to implement on future performance and the productivity levels to be achieved. Taking into account the literature on innovation, supported by three case studies: Lego, Coca-Cola and Alpina, the different innovation strategies available that will support and counter the hypotheses derived from the research are presented. Interest in the reuse of different parts of fruits and vegetables has been increasing, not only to promote environmental sustainability, but also for the other beneficial properties that have been recognised by the scientific community. The content of bioactive compounds in papaya seeds, which are almost always wasted, led to the study of alternative uses of them. In this context, the content of non-nutritive compounds of Carica papaya L. seeds, namely total phenolics and flavonoids, was quantified, and their antioxidant activity was also evaluated. Despite the evidence that papaya seeds can be used as natural antioxidants in the food and pharmaceutical industries, further research is needed to assess their toxicity.

In addition to corruption, incompetence and immorality, the poor social treatment of members of the judiciary in DR Congo remains the epicenter of judicial groping.The political value of an institution within a nation can be summed up in the degree of respect due to the courts. But the lack of political will on the part of every regime to control the judiciary is unacceptable, and the greed of power must drain it of its existence.The instrumentalization of the judiciary constitutes a permanent danger to the Republic and to the well-being of the Congolese people.

Childhood is the stage of development where imitative behaviors are acquired par excellence and are preserved throughout life. A quasi-experimental study was conducted, which consisted of the application of an educational program on oral health promotion, (October 2015-June 2016), in children of the "Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz" elementary school, in the rural community of Larrondo. The level of information was determined through covert observation and the application of structured interviews to infants, parents and teaching staff. Then the "Educational Program for the Development of Correct Oral Hygiene" was applied; and finally, the level of information was determined once the program was applied. There was a change in the level of adequate information of both boys and girls, from 22.8% to 100%. The frequency of adequate brushing varied from 36.4% to 90.9%. Orientation to toothbrushing by professionals increased from 9.1% to 100% of the population. And the willingness of infants to help their peers was always present in the entire population.

Recent research and literature on financial systems consider reputational risk as one of the main risks to which banking institutions are exposed. Based on the set of propositions of the imperfect market hypothesis, it is assumed that reputation is a key factor for economic agents in the decision-making process. Applying the concept of reputation to the financial system, more specifically to banks, this study aimed to provide a better understanding of reputational risk, identifying its main catalysing events, as well as its interrelationship with other banking risks. To fulfil this objective, a structural equation model was applied to a sample of 117 professionals from institutions operating in the Brazilian financial and capital markets. The results reinforce the hypothesis that operational risk influences reputational risk. In addition, it is suggested that the reputation of a banking institution can be severely damaged when it finances activities that cause socio-environmental damage or when discrimination occurs in the management of its employees.

The present work aims at the revitalisation of the Science Park of Caxambu, in the south of Minas Gerais, which intends to restore equipment installed in 1998 in the Parque das Águas, which suffered strong deterioration for almost 20 years. A group of teachers, concerned with the park's administration and also with the socio-political importance of this place, decided to revitalise it, making numerous activities in a non-formal, motivating education that is governed by the principles of Freirian pedagogy, where education awakens in the learner a critical awareness of the political, economic and social reality in which he is inserted. The elaboration of a pedagogical project for a satisfactory use of the Park by students of the public and private network of Caxambu and surroundings, by the local society and by visitors, with the intention of teaching Science (Physics, Biology and Chemistry). In order to ensure an effective use of the park, the proposal is to include the population of Caxambu in the restoration process, from its initial stages of damage survey, through the technical project and the pedagogical plan for the use of the space.

The book Comparison of rearing systems for dairy heifers: Body performance and production costs was conceived by professionals who have accumulated practical and theoretical experience in their careers on a topic relevant to science and to rural producers. With the credibility of technicians and operators who experience the real situations of the field and the management of cattle. This is a study on the physiological performance and production costs of Dutch heifers in confined and grazing production systems. From weaning to the beginning of reproductive life, the animals were evaluated under the animal welfare (Welfare Quality, 2009). More precisely, in body performance (body score, height and weight) and reproductive measurements (age, oestrus and artificial insemination). In a context of the southwestern region of Paraná, which has the largest dairy basin in the state, 27% of state production and 3% of national production.

The purpose of this work is to determine the economic and financial feasibility of an investment project related to the reengineering of Hotel Uruguay in the city of Villa Carlos Paz, Province of Córdoba, Argentina. The project takes as a starting point the constant growth of tourism in the region. From this point of view, Hotel Uruguay, an emblematic hotel in the city, is taken and it is questioned why it was losing profitability to the point of closing in a short period of time. Different issues related to the hotel business were analyzed and reengineering was proposed. It was approached from a structural aspect, as an organization, covering technical, technological and functional aspects. Legal and environmental aspects, very important for the development of the project, were not left aside. Finally, economic and financial analyses were carried out to determine whether the project was profitable or not.

This document for the degree includes three chapters that describe the planning of the project for a pilot television program supported by the constitutional strategies approved during the period of the Presidency of Economist Rafael Correa Delgado, with relevant information on the special abilities of children considered as disabled according to CONADIS. This issue is resolved from the need to provide society with an educational and informative transmission, whose content collaborates in the motor and cognitive orientation of parents with children who have different abilities than the average Ecuadorian. Each chapter presented contains several segments that include interviews, medical notes and playful exercises. The first part of the document contains information related to pre-production, technical specifications, casting, background and description of the production. This is followed by the realization or production of the same plus the respective editing, colorization and sound. In the chapter of the results, it is written around the exhibition tests and the conclusions about the path of the program's realization and acceptance.

This research had the purpose of analyzing the linguistic interference of Spanish articles in the use of English articles in third semester students of the Plurilingual Career of the Universidad Central del Ecuador in the academic period October 2017-February 2018. The theoretical framework, in the independent variable exposed the types of interference, the forms and uses of the indeterminate and determinate articles of Spanish that are transferred to English, and the dependent variable described the uses of the determinate and indeterminate articles, and the main interlanguage errors that students go through when making use of the target language. In order to study this phenomenon, a qualitative-quantitative, non-experimental, documentary and descriptive approach was used, as well as a field research with a test applied to students and a script of questions directed to English teachers.

The Ixbut plant improves the volume of milk production by 37%. In swine, cattle, goats and sheep, the Ixbut plant would represent the specific resource to level the milk production of the mentioned species according to the genetic capacity of the specimens.

This study aims to determine the availability and measure the financial accessibility to drugs for the three most frequent digestive pathologies: cirrhosis, duodenal ulcer and gastritis, following the method of the World Health Organization and Health Action International. At the end of the survey, the average availability of the 18 drugs studied was all below 50%. For specialties, the average availability was 32.43% (pharmacies); 24.95% (hospital pharmacy) and 18% (wholesalers). For generics, it was 36.34% (dispensaries); 33.33% (hospital pharmacy) and 30.55% (wholesalers). For financial accessibility, it was more reasonable with generic drugs than with specialties. The availability of drugs for the main digestive pathologies was low and their accessibility was poor due to the non-availability of their generic equivalents and their excessive cost in private pharmacies.

This study aimed at the guideline of multiprofessional care of the National Policy for the Protection of the Rights of People with Autism (ASD) - Law 12.764/12, whose general objective was to evaluate the multiprofessional care to people with ASD by the Unified Health System (SUS) in Fortaleza- CE. The specific objectives were based on Investigating with the relatives of these people the necessary therapeutic demands; Identify with the Municipal Secretariat of Fortaleza which public institutions of the Unified Health System are responsible for the execution of multiprofessional therapeutic care for autistic people; To ascertain which and how therapeutic care is offered to autistic people by the institutions of the Unified Health System network; Investigate the performance of the managers of the researched centres and representatives of the Municipal Health Secretariat, for the realization of the guideline of multiprofessional care for people with ASD. Several conclusions were drawn in this evaluative research, but the main one is the need for more attention by the State to the demands of people with ASD.

Risk perceptions can be discussed and discerned in order to reduce and raise awareness about the excessive and incorrect use of these substances. This book aims to discuss, discern and point out the use of pesticides, risks to environmental and human health and the role of risk perceptions in this problem. In view of the results and discussions held, it can be observed that risk perception can provide discernment and contemplate the reduction or non-existence of use and support new social movements seeking quality of life.

The work exposes the use of management accounting as a management tool, which regardless of the size of the business, has its proven effectiveness. Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease is an autoimmune inflammatory disease characterized by bilateral granulomatous panuveitis, associated with neurological, auditory and integumentary manifestations.Ocular involvement consists mainly of multiple retinal serous detachments, characteristic of the early stage, and depigmentation of the fundus, giving a "sunset" appearance characteristic of the late stage of the disease. Diagnosis is generally straightforward, based on a careful ophthalmological examination. Multimodal imaging plays an important role, not only in the diagnosis of doubtful cases, but above all in monitoring and assessing the prognosis of the disease. The prognosis is generally good, provided the diagnosis has been made in good time and treatment promptly initiated.

Institutional foster care for children and adolescents as a protective measure requires attention to two basic principles, Exceptionality and Temporariness. This paper contextualises institutional care as a possible protection measure for children and adolescents in vulnerable situations. It also discusses the negative impact of the removal of the child from his family, and the insecurity of administrative referrals, made in an unqualified way, in addition to guaranteeing the right to Family Coexistence and the possibility of rupture, if the legal procedures for institutional foster care are not fulfilled by the actors of the System of Guarantee of the Rights of Children and Adolescents (SGDCA).
