The whitefly, Bemisia tabaci, is considered one of the most important pests of agriculture worldwide due to its damage and losses caused in several cultivated species. In addition to its damage, B. tabaci has great reproductive and adaptive capacity, hosts in more than 900 plant species and also has a high capacity to select individuals resistant to active ingredients of insecticides. For these reasons, the control of B. tabaci is complex and constitutes a great challenge, thus, there is a need for alternative measures to manage this insect. In this sense, the use of vegetable oils, such as castor oil, and entomopathogenic fungi, such as Beauveria bassiana, have shown favourable results in the control of B. tabaci. When these are used together, they can enhance pest control, promote lower selection pressure of resistant individuals, present low toxicity to beneficial organisms and, due to their characteristics of being able to be mixed and sprayed together with chemical insecticides, can provide a reduction in application costs.

After the difficult period of African independence achieved from the 1960s onwards, and today emptied of all meaning on a political, economic, cultural, scientific, technological and geostrategic scale, the time has come for our continent to think about, build and organize a new independence. This task falls to the rising generations, who will have to devise new strategies for liberation and open up new avenues for building a united, free and prosperous Africa, with faith in its creative capacities and aware of all the possibilities open to it to become a great civilization open to the world and capable of enriching global society as a whole with its genius. This work seeks a way to rescue the Central Fair of Campina Grande - PB that due to the lack of public equipment, sanitation, lighting and security is in the process of degradation. Its current state, even receiving the title of Cultural Heritage of Brazil (2018), generates discomfort for users who are induced to do their shopping in supermarkets for the comfort they provide. The new market to be implemented will contribute to the requalification of the space, transforming it into a more pleasant place, with hygiene, equipment and safety. A significant difference will be added to the whole by modifying a section of the Market. This project is also concerned with the preservation of the city's historical heritage, incorporating the building of the Eldorado Casino, a former luxurious cabaret, which besides representing the most important economic phase of the city, portrays the buildings of the time in the beautiful Art Deco style.

In Accounting courses in Brazil, accounting practice can occur both in the academic environment (through exercises, teaching cases and simulations in accounting laboratories) and in the organisational context (through supervised internships). This book is the result of research conducted at a Brazilian federal university, whose accounting practice occurs through simulations in an academic context, and presents discussions on the contributions of this modality of practice to the acquisition of the competences necessary for professional practice. The results showed that the physical structure of the institution and the teaching laboratories, the prior theoretical knowledge acquired in the subjects that precede the classes where the practices are simulated, and the format of the classes influence students' learning. However, prior practical knowledge resulting from employment and internship has no significant influence on the acquisition of competences. This book is intended for coordinators and teachers of Accounting courses and managers of educational institutions as a subsidy for decision making regarding the format of practice to be offered to students.

This work arises from the need to transversalize the concept of environmental sustainability in order to awaken in the being the perception of the available natural resources and the responsibility to better use them. The proposal is that this awakening happens in school, a place of integration of the local community, since elementary school. Thus, the concepts related to the environment, inserted articulating theory and practice, in the various compulsory disciplines, culminate in the awareness of the being as an active subject. The proposed actions are guided by ecotechniques, chosen according to the demands and potential of the territory where one lives, even if it is the backyard of one's home or the schoolyard. And because they are children and adolescents, in a school environment, the transversalization of the principles of sustainability fosters the dispersion of environmental perception among family members and surroundings through action, good practices and a sense of belonging, when it is understood that we are part of a whole and can actively shape our reality.

The result of the offence is a concept that may be elusive in law, but it can be grasped by the law. The development of a theoretical construct to close the conceptual disharmony around this pastis is imperative. The doctrinal disparity between sociological, legal, intended, juridical, virtual and material results is at odds with the omnipresence of a result in every offence. This book is a showcase for the understanding of this polymorphous concept. The stricto sensu concept, based on the penal qualification of the result, and the lato sensu concept, highlighting its polymorphism, furnish its definition. Its normative implications in terms of the objective and subjective structure of the offence provide a valuable theoretical substance. The influence of the result of the offence on the penal norm is thus an indicator of the choice of criminal policy in each repressive system. This study plays a decisive role in guiding legal doctrine and practitioners towards the discovery of conceptual unity in the midst of doctrinal diversity and textual and jurisprudential silence.

With the study it is concluded that hand washing is an instrument of extreme importance in the control of preventable hospital infections, which are those in which they may or may not settle in the host, that is, they may not happen if there is an initial control of this infectious event. Correct hand hygiene significantly reduces the transient flora on the hands of healthcare professionals, showing its importance in the control and prevention of hospital-acquired infections. The role of hand washing in the control of hospital-acquired infections is unique and exclusive to prevention. This practice must be adhered to the work routine of health professionals and must be carried out with awareness, responsibility and frequently so that this practice is, in fact, efficient.

The body is the source of the gesture I'll be studying in this text. The body has an infinite spectrum of gestures, some relating to communication, others to artistic expression, privacy, production and so on. Not all these gestures are of the same nature. The gesture of communication is not the same as the spontaneous gesture of a child at play or the gesture of a dancer in motion. Some gestures are completely accidental. On the other hand, tracings that are the result of gestural involvement - in other words, of physical, sensitive work with the material - acquire a presence that imposes itself in space.

Driven by the lack of data on the spatial dynamics of Brazilian hospitality in medium-sized cities, this study used hotel location models in urban destinations, mainly the historical-tourist city model of Burtenshaw, Bateman and Ashworth (1981), the historical-tourist city model of Ashworth and Tunbridge and the hotel location hierarchy model of Egan and Nield (2000). Although these models have been used in European cities, as well as in cities of different sizes, it was considered daring to apply them and compare them with the reality of a new country like Brazil. Curitiba is a city that has undergone two major changes: the creation of the Industrial City of Curitiba (CIC) in 1973; and the installation of automobile manufacturers in the metropolitan region of Curitiba in 1995. These two milestones were used to analyse the data. It is interesting to see how the industrialisation of a city affects its tourist facilities.

This book contributes to a better understanding of limnology, a discipline of ecology that studies continental aquatic ecosystems (stagnant and running waters). Intended for graduate students in environmental sciences (aquatic ecology in particular), it is structured in 3 essential parts: presentation of biological diversity, and the threats that impact on aquatic biodiversity; lentic environments (lakes, ponds, pools); and lotic environments (rivers, streams). This book provides the basic notions needed to teach limnology, as well as a useful reference for users of aquatic ecosystems.

Heart transplantation is an alternative for people with refractory cardiovascular disease, but it entails several physical and psychological changes, and cardiac rehabilitation is a therapeutic option in this context. With the growing increase in this population, it is necessary that cardiac rehabilitation is implemented with a thorough justification of its gains. The aim of this study was to identify the appropriate rehabilitation interventions for people undergoing heart transplantation and the health gains from rehabilitation programs. Rehabilitation in heart transplant patients leads to health gains such as physiological and functional benefits and, above all, quality of life, and its use should be increased.

An analysis of the information system of the Medico-Legal Institute (Centre for Forensic Medicine and Odontology) of the Capital of Paraíba, identifying limitations and opportunities, so that senior management (Head of Centre, Superintendent of the Scientific Police Institute - IPC and General Directorate of the IPC) can develop and carry out their activities safely, based on an integrated and secure information system.

This paper is a subsidy to the activity of pedagogical supervision carried out in educational institutions, mainly in the primary and secondary subsystems, and also discusses its contribution to the professional development of the key person in the teaching and learning process, the teacher.The research reveals an important aspect regarding the pedagogical supervision carried out by external entities of the different levels of the ministry that oversees the education sector, the need to train technicians in supervisory matters, as a way of being able to avoid an inspection work that is devoid of didactic dialogue.This action of external technicians distances teachers from the supervisory activity because they fear punitive actions, not only because it is not an intelligent work, but also because it focuses on administrative aspects and not on pedagogical ones.

Loving activities are those actions that a person performs to increase love and attitudes towards love are based on ideologies and needs of the individual acquired through experience. The general objective of this research was to determine the association between the types of love activities and attitudes towards love in students of a private university in Chiclayo; as well as to identify the types of love activities and attitudes towards love according to sex. The population are university students of the VIII cycle, conformed by 188 young adults. We worked with the Concrete Love Activity Scale and the Attitude to Love Scale. The results indicated that there is an association between the types of love activity and attitudes towards love; for the types of love activity no significant differences were found between sexes. However, for the attitudes towards love, significant differences were found between sexes; the most frequent attitudes in males were eros and in females storge.

Taking into account that the Helicobacter pylori bacterium continues to be an important factor in serious gastric affections, since it affects more than half of the world's population, it would be ideal if over the years plasma, serological or histological markers could be identified to help prevent the development of gastric cancer due to Helicobacter pylori infection, or at least to detect it at a pathologically reversible stage. The texts that are here are the fruit of hard work of scientific production, which aims to break new ground for analyses on the facts of life through not very conventional legal assumptions. The work began to develop from 2014 onwards, the people present here gathered under the baton of research and extension groups of the then Dom Bosco Higher Education Unit, today Dom Bosco University Centre, evolutions that together provided a huge advance both institutional and personal of each one who writes here. The groups that the authors of the texts were part of discussed issues related to violence in all its manifestations. They did not only discuss apparent violence, i.e. violence seen through the eyes of television cameras. In this sense, they discussed, each in their own way, violence beyond what is seen in the spectacular space. They were able to cast their eyes beyond the theoretical and practical horizon and saw beyond where the eyes reach.

In Maputo City, in particular in the Polana Caniço "A" neighbourhood, the most obvious erosion is pluvial erosion, caused by rain and is the most complex, however, wind erosion also occurs in the dry season. Pluvial erosion is the product of the interaction between rain and soil. The degree of pluvial erosion that occurs is mainly related to the fact that the neighbourhood does not have drainage infrastructures as well as its degree of vulnerability mainly due to the poor social condition of most residents. The rains that fell in early 2000 reduced the Polana Caniço "A" neighbourhood to huge craters, with several infrastructures destroyed and others at risk, including housing, the local Primary School, the Polana Health Centre, the water and energy distribution network. It is in this context that this monograph focuses its attention on the study of strategies for the control and mitigation of soil erosion in the Polana Caniço "A" Neighbourhood, which necessarily involves the involvement of all parties and synergies that can be a solution to this problem, namely residents, municipal authorities, civil society organisations, the academic community. International treaties are legal instruments that facilitate relations between nations. They have created rights and obligations between the signatory parties, encouraging and promoting cooperation and economic development. For their ratification and subsequent enactment within states and their incorporation into domestic legal sources, procedures are established in different ways. This paper focused on one: the ratification procedure by means of referendum by citizen initiative. In Ecuador, this procedure is regulated in article 420 of the Constitution. The aim of the research was to analyse this procedure. The focus of the analysis was theoretical and legal. The results led to the conclusion that we are faced with a constitutional procedure of direct democracy of enormous importance, due to the fact that citizens can empower themselves in public decisions traditionally centred on the state and political parties.

As a student of the prestigious National University of Loja, Law Degree, I have proposed the study of this subject, as I have proposed the development of the present topic with the purpose of analysing the circumstances in which an administrative summary is initiated against the worker MÓNICA DEL ROCÍO MONTEROS DONOSO, arising from the fact that the aforementioned worker allegedly made a statement addressed to the Minister of Sports, where it is stated that "there is an unfounded and slanderous complaint, with false assertions, seriously compromising the public image of the sports institution, such as lack of honour, lack of respect, lack of confidence and lack of trust in the public image of the institution". Minister of Sports, where it is stated that "there is an unfounded and injurious denunciation, with false assertions, seriously compromising the public image of the sports institution, as well as damaging the honour, prestige and good name of the current directors of the Loja sports federation", It should be emphasised that it has not been possible to determine which are the alleged insulting terms or false assertions, nor is it individualised to which person or official such assertions are made, because from my point of view a summary procedure is issued without asserting the alleged accusation that could seriously damage the image and honour of the officials and the Institution.

The aim of this document began with the concern of helping students to develop better learning, which began with the search for information on how human beings learn and acquire knowledge through the knowledge of behaviourist and cognitivist learning theories and, based on this, to propose a possible teaching strategy. The first step was to search for information about learning and the behaviourist and cognitivist learning theories, their origin, foundations and learning process. The benefits and limitations of each of the theories are also analysed, making a comparative analysis of them, determining the possible applications in the teaching practice and possible actions in the didactic strategy proposal, for a better learning of the students.

This is a cross-sectional study of the clinical and biological aspects of schizophrenic patients, cannabis users and schizophrenic users, in search of common vulnerability factors. Schizophrenia patients presented certain cardiovascular risk factors. Cannabis use was more frequent in men, associated with alcohol and tobacco, and daily in 40% of subjects. Toxic effects were the most frequent (90.2%). We noted an association between positive effects and age, sex and smoking, between toxic effects and alcohol consumption, and between positive and psychotic effects and the use of psychoactive substances. Positive effects are associated with length of time, quantity and frequency of use. Clinical and biological monitoring of schizophrenics and cannabis users, and advice on healthy living, are recommended, especially for cannabis use, given its somatic, psychological, psychiatric and social consequences, particularly among young people.

The study aims to analyse the modifying processes of urban space and characterise the actions of the main modelling agents, in order to record the main changes in natural elements and environmental transformations, through image processing by Spring and Quantum Gis software, in relation to human action. The emergence of cities is directly linked and imbricated with human agglomeration, migratory movements, among other processes modifying the urban space such as industrialisation that occurred from the 19th century. The removal of vegetation is known as one of the most traditional actions of man on nature, even if it will regenerate. Such action causes changes in the biodiversity of fauna and flora, so the vegetation cover is a reference of environmental quality. Due to the speed of transformations, there is a need to use tools that enable rapid environmental assessment and that are relatively low cost. Thus, the use of techniques and instruments provided by Remote Sensing, with the aid of Geographic Information Systems and Global Positioning Systems.

Athletics. Teaching the hammer throw in the 12-13 years old female category. It constitutes a bibliographic and methodological source for those professionals who are involved in the training of athletes of this discipline in the base link, it is the result of a scientific research in the municipal areas of this sport in the province of Ciego de Avila, Cuba. Its merit lies in the contribution it makes of a system of exercises for teaching the throwing of this implement in the 12-13 years old female category.

Mutation of the NPM1 (Nucleophosmin) gene is one of the most frequently observed acquired mutations in acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). Of the many types of NPM1 mutants, the type A mutation accounts for 80%. Monitoring of this marker is routinely indicated in the management of AML. It is currently monitored using RT-qPCR. The results are expressed as a "mutated/normal" ratio of NPM1 mutants, and require the use of a reference gene.digital PCR is a recent technology that enables absolute quantification of a rare genetic event. The strengths of digital PCR are numerous: the reference gene is identical to the target of interest, the sensitivity is virtually identical to that of RT-qPCR, and there is no need to use plasmid assays. In this context, we have developed a digital PCR method for the NPM1 type A biomarker by determining the optimum parameters of the technique for this detection. In conclusion, digital PCR appears to be a relevant tool for monitoring residual disease.

Hepatic Distomatosis is one of the main parasitic diseases that limit the development of the livestock industry in the country, since the pathological effects of Distomatosis result in a notable decrease in animal production and productivity, in addition to the loss of valuable protein sources due to the seizure of parasitized livers. In Peru, the losses caused annually to livestock farming in the country have been estimated at around 11 million dollars, Leguía (1988). It has been estimated that in the world there are more than 550 million of these animals exposed to suffer from Distomatosis. This disease causes seizures of livers in slaughterhouses and losses in the productive potential of affected animals.

Adolescent pregnancy is a worldwide health problem, which is associated with multiple maternal and fetal complications. According to WHO, adolescence begins at age 10 and ends at approximately 19 years of age. Adolescent pregnancy has increased in the last decade, which carries risks of biological, psychological and social harm. Pregnant adolescents may develop disorders such as anemia, hypertension, infections, toxemia, preterm delivery, threatened abortion, among others. Likewise, the newborn may have low birth weight and severe complications that can lead to death; even if it survives, it may have sequelae such as mental retardation and neural tube closure defects. Preterm delivery, which occurs before 37 weeks of gestation, is considered the main cause of neonatal morbidity and mortality, as well as neurological disorders. A factor associated with this is maternal age under 17 years. Although there are many factors involved in preterm delivery, it is important to know them in order to detect them in time and thus establish prevention strategies.
