This book aims to understand the phenomena about Mental Health and Work of Early Childhood Education Teachers, as there is an increasing number of illnesses linked to the teaching practice of this class of workers in Brazil. Contributions of Psychology are presented in the face of the Psychodynamics of Work, as a fundamental tool to give vent to the voice of workers, allowing to unveil their experiences at work and the meanings of pleasure and suffering attributed to it. Through qualitative and bibliographic research, the most common diseases found in the context in which the teacher of early childhood education is inserted are cited. For example, Burnout, chronic fatigue, among other derivative causes that can cause psychological distress in the worker, such as lack of recognition and devaluation of their work. It is concluded that the mental illness of early childhood education teachers is a challenge for psychologists to work with interventions that allow them to give voice to this worker through speech and listening, in order to promote and prevent their mental health, collectively or individually.

Part of a monograph by the first author. Unpublished work on traditional families in Paraíba, case report. Addresses issues related to the selection techniques applied by Paraíba farmers. comprises a set of techniques for cultivating a concentric circular vegetable garden system, which combines animal husbandry with plant production and uses inputs from the property in order to preserve soil and water quality, as well as ensuring food security for the families that participate in it.

Relationship Marketing, through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications, is a practice guided by marketing philosophy and strategies. It is applicable through technological support, and is at the threshold of the areas of Administration and Information Technology. In order to better understand the attributes required for the effectiveness of these practices, with a greater organisational scope, and greater capacity for information on customer behaviour, it is necessary to understand that CRM is not limited to technological support, but constitutes a business philosophy and lasting relationships with customers. This book presents in a simplified way the foundations on which CRM is based.

Far from being allegorical issues, sustainability is proving decisive not only for the preservation of the environment, but also for the final decision of a potential client. How these issues are intensified within that customer and how the employee can be influenced by a culture within the institution are some of the issues to be addressed in this book. Culture is the key factor for the practice to be effective, so we will address the issues related to the mutual influence between the organisation and the employee's personality. Thus, this book comes with the purpose not only to solve questions, but to generate some more so that we can have different ideas that may be advantageous for sustainable development within institutions.

The argan tree (Argania spinosa) is a multi-purpose forest fruit tree of remarkable socio-economic and ecological interest. The tree thrives in a wide range of arid to semi-arid environments characterized by highly fluctuating rainfall. As with other species, the flowering and fruiting phases are more vulnerable to these variations. Moreover, fruiting is closely linked to flower production and seasonal pollinator activity. The aim of the present work is to fill the gaps in our knowledge of the technical itinerary for orchard management of the argan tree as a fruit tree, by determining the effect of drip watering on flowering and fruit production. This aspect remains little studied in trees in situ. The experiment was carried out on two groups of trees (10 irrigated and 10 non-irrigated) at the Ait Meloul FSA reserve in the Admine forest.

The main author of this publication is a Veterinary Doctor, Master and PhD in Animal Science graduated from the Federal University of Pelotas (Rio Grando do Sul, Brazil). He taught beef cattle and Rural Administration courses at the University of the Campanha Region (URCAMP), and since 2014 he has been an Adjunct Professor at the State University of Rio Grande do Sul (UERGS), teaching several courses in the area of Animal Production for the Agronomy, Rural Development and Agroindustrial Management courses and the Higher Technology Course in Agroindustry. He is coordinator of the research group GEPAFO (Study Group on Livestock and Agriculture of the Western Frontier). He carried out his doctoral experiment at the Bioinformatics and Genomic Statistics Laboratory (Embrapa CPPSul), conducting studies with an emphasis on the temperament-behaviour-genotype relationship of beef cattle. He is currently developing research projects on sheep farming, livestock production in natural fields and technical-economic analysis of animal production systems (ruminants). He is in the process of broadening his study base by attending his second degree in Economics at the Federal University of Pampa.

The study on the control and health risks of the presence of antibiotic residues in foodstuffs of animal origin was carried out with the aim of contributing to consumer health safety. Samples of meat and eggs were taken in six markets, and of fish in five cold stores in Lomé, to test for antibiotic residues. A total of 382 samples were analyzed, comprising 300 fish samples, 52 chicken meat samples and 30 egg samples. The overall result of the study was that: 10.21% of all samples tested positive for antibiotic residues, with 9.33% of fish samples, 11.53% of meat samples and 16.67% of egg samples. This situation calls these foodstuffs into question, especially as they were taken directly from the commercial circuit for human consumption, in view of the health risks associated with these residues.

He exposes the terrifying realities of triumphant capitalism, the evils of corruption, state violence, the loss of identity of neo-colonised peoples, the manipulation of the elite, the barbarity of economic predation and, finally, the misfortunes of countries rich in minerals and oil, whose oppressed citizens are condemned to exodus and uprooting.

In a world in which the atomisation of knowledge seems to be increasingly accentuated, debates on a proposal to reintegrate and unify knowledge become extremely relevant. To discuss the relationship between History and Literature at the time of its imbrication with Philosophy and the beginning of its segmentation, is to realise the potential for interrelation of knowledge and the motivations for the rise of a fragmented educational structure of Western knowledge. It is in this sense that the holistic paradigm comes into play, perceiving the world as an interconnected whole, intertwined and integrated in everything that composes it.

Heuristic evaluation is an interface evaluation method to find usability problems in systems. To perform the heuristic evaluation, evaluators end up using tools that do not fully support all the steps of the heuristic evaluation, thus generating expressive manual work, in processes that can be facilitated by a tool dedicated to this purpose. The present work aims to present the design and evaluation of a web tool, which fulfills the role of helping evaluators to document the heuristic evaluation, to make the realization less costly, and in a faithful way to the method.

This document is a compilation of information that has been adapted to the proposed environmental financing mechanism. The harvesting of wild cacao beans during the collection, drying, storage and transportation stages is basically done in a rustic and artisanal manner, causing losses in addition to low income from the sale of the product. In order to solve the deficiencies found, community producers are strengthened through a voluntary conservation agreement, where the communities commit to conserve the primary forest ecosystems, reforest forest harvesting areas, improve the quality of life, and implement new production systems, for which resources will be provided in addition to creating a compensatory fund and support in the form of advice, technical assistance, and monitoring. The established commitment is adapted to the demands and needs found, guaranteeing the financing for the implementation and execution of the project, promoting the integral and sustainable use of forest ecosystems.

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the use of natural resources for sustainable tourism development in the town of Pasaje canton, El Oro province, in 2016. The methodological research is of an explorative-deductive type with a quantitative approach applying research tools based on surveys with closed and objective questions, applied to 395 people with an admissible error of 5% in the result. Due to this, the results were verified and revealed that the relevant natural resources in the locality are rivers, medicinal and edible plants, which are of great contribution for the development not only of tourism but also of economic character. The present investigation showed that the canton of Pasaje has important natural resources, despite the lack of an inventory of these resources, Pasaje contributes to local tourism development in a sustainable manner.

With the development of endovascular therapies, conventional surgical treatment of sub-renal abdominal aortic aneurysms no longer appears to be the treatment of choice, especially for high-risk patients. The aim of this study was to evaluate the results of conventional surgery in the treatment of sub-renal abdominal aortic aneurysms in high-risk patients, by comparing two groups of patients: those at high operative risk versus those at low risk.

The paper deals with the biological diversity harboured in the Brazilian Amazon Forest and the importance of this resource for the balance and stability of ecosystems, as well as for obtaining economic advantages, among other benefits. However, contrary to the protection that should be given to Amazonian biodiversity, the development of the region has been implemented in a predatory manner, through the adoption of unsustainable deforestation practices. Deforestation constitutes a prerequisite for the exercise of the right of interference on national soil by the international community, in contrast to the principle of sovereignty, with a view to the defence of that ecosystem. Thus, the objective of the study is to identify sustainable forms of development for the Brazilian Amazon, which requires the involvement of public authorities and civil society with the environmental cause.

Santiago de Cuba teacher Juan Bautista Sagarra Blez developed an outstanding work for the education of Santiago de Cuba and Cuba between 1830 and 1870. His work as a writer of school texts (especially his text collection Librería de los Niños Cubanos), director of schools (technical, preparatory and private) and his contribution to the economic and social development of the locality stand out. The Cuban Children's Bookstore (18 titles)-the first collection of school texts written by a Creole educator, represents a solid link in the general, renovating, scholastic-pedagogical, didactic-methodological work, and in particular in the production of school texts for Cuban children and youth. In the second half of the 19th century, he founded two of the most important technical centers of his time: the General Preparatory School and the School of Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors and Master Builders, schools that were characterized by the use of innovative teaching methods and the experimental-practical nature of their classes.

Respiratory distress is a medical emergency that requires pre-hospital care by the SAMU, and depending on the patient's condition, may lead to hospitalization in intensive care. Among the most frequent causes: acute COPD decompensation, severe acute asthma, pneumothorax, neuromuscular diseases and thoracic trauma.In children, foreign bodies are the most frequent cause of respiratory distress.Diagnosis of respiratory distress is based on clinical findings and gasometric abnormalities (hypoxemia, hypercapnia).Oxygenation using a mask or mask scope is the first line of treatment.All intra- or extra-hospital transport must be assisted by the SAMU.

The metalworking industry is characterised by the high quality of its components, and machining is responsible for a considerable portion of the search for improvements in its products. In the manufacture of parts for the sector, the use of ABNT 1045 steel stands out for its good mechanical properties and low cost. The efficiency of the use of coolants in turning machining processes is widely questioned in the literature. Therefore, this work studied alternatives for turning ABNT 1045 steel. For this purpose, tests were carried out varying the conditions of use of cutting fluid at minimum flow, maximum flow and without fluid. The influences of cutting speed (vc), feed rate (f) and depth of cut (ap) were also analysed. In the tests, the influences of insert wear and the effect of the amount of cutting fluid on the roughness of the parts were evaluated. In order to better characterise such wear as well as the topography present on the inserts, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used.

Jade Castellanos Rosales read Inés Arredondo early on and was captivated both by the perfection of the prose and by the unexpected revelation in the plot, which disrupts the meaning anticipated by a simple reading. This writing about motherhood, madness and death in a triad of stories about the feminine and the sinister is the literary research that Jade -- narrator, poet, chronicler of women herself -- presented to the Postgraduate Course in Contemporary Mexican Literature at the UAM in Mexico City. As a reading guide, it will serve to approach the apparently innocent but extremely disturbing writing of Arredondo, one of five or six women writers of the "Generation of the Mid-Century". The theoretical framework of this hermeneutic exercise includes psychoanalytical, feminist and anti-establishment concepts, among others. It uncovers "the disturbing strangeness" in the apparent everyday life of Arredondo's female characters. Here, the twists and turns are not phantasmagorical, but unexpected revelations of the plot, ranging from Freud's Unheimlich to Franca Basaglia's concept of woman as body-for-others.

Land, the main capital of rural farming in the Kabare chiefdom, is now in short supply. The average area farmed by each farmer is estimated at 1h. However, some households have no land at all. The average area set aside for maize cultivation is estimated at 1/2ha per household. Land conflicts are another factor holding back the development of maize-growing value chains (87%). With regard to production factors, in particular agricultural inputs, 56% of respondents do not have access to improved seeds. The fertilizer used is mainly organic (95%), with only 5% of households using mineral fertilizer. Farming techniques and methods used for production are essentially traditional (74%), phytosanitary products are not used for maize cultivation (61%) and only 31% use these products for the good development of their maize crop, which results in low maize production, especially as producers do not wait for their crop to mature. Average production per acre is 50 to 100kg (52%).

The practice of self-care permeates our entire Western culture and is established in our society in various ways, in religion with the practices of confession, in psychology within the practices of journal writing and in holistic therapies that come closer to the spiritual exercises practised by the philosophers of antiquity. Thus, for philosophers of today, it is necessary to rescue these practices as an ethopoietic learning, for a philosophical doing devoid of the moulds of modernity that judges philosophy to be only what can be known through reason, in an epistemological approach that counteracts that of conversion to philosophical life, which consists of a work of self-formation of the individual, which makes him an expert Parrhesiasta. Better said, he who in his way of life, tells the truth about himself, without even saying a word. However, for the exercise of this truth, it is necessary to know oneself, which refers to the care that one has with oneself.

This book is a collection of the economics and contemporary issues courses I taught for ten years in higher education: economics courses at two leading business schools in Strasbourg (the ISEG (Institut Supérieur Européen de Gestion) and the ECS (European Communication School) and the "contemporary issues" course in Classes Préparatoires de Sciences Politiques at SCIENCES PO. EUROFORCE in Bischheim.It combines courses in economic analysis, macroeconomics, international economics, international trade, international economic and financial governance, and the history of economic and sociological thought, all taught at ISEG and ECS, with contemporary socio-economic issues, three of which I particularly focused on at SCIENCES PO. EUROFORCE: globalization, culture and work.

The present work will be developed to investigate the different methodological strategies used by teachers to promote the reading habit in early childhood education children in order to ensure that they acquire a taste for reading at an early age and, even more, that it lasts throughout their lives. Methodological strategies constitute the sequence of planned and systematically organized activities that allow the construction of school knowledge and, in particular, its integral development. It refers to the pedagogical interventions carried out with the intention of enhancing and improving the spontaneous teaching-learning processes as a means to contribute to a better development of intelligence, affectivity, conscience and competences to act socially. Reading and reading comprehension are not innate skills, but are acquired as the individual grows, therefore, the first cycles of schooling are of great importance for the acquisition of reading, so the techniques, methods and activities to be developed should be initiated from this first instance.

In order to determine the efficacy of Tithonia diversifolia (Hemsl.) A Gray in the treatment of gastrointestinal strongyles in young cattle, three experiments were carried out. To characterize the species T. diversifolia from the bromatological and phytochemical point of view in the rainy (PLL) and low rainy (PPLL) periods; to determine the in vitro efficacy of aqueous and ethanolic extracts of the plant on egg hatching and larval development of these parasites and to demonstrate the efficacy of supplementation with T. diversifolia in the treatment of gastrointestinal strongyles in young cattle under grazing conditions in both periods.

The iv administration of contrasts in diagnostic radiology is essential for the detection of many pathologies that would go undetected without their use. Both Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) use these substances to acquire images that complement baseline studies. In the pathology of the nervous system (NS), MRI studies are superior to those of CT mainly because of their anatomical definition and superior tissue contrast. However, there is a group of complex pathologies affecting the dynamics and distribution of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the cranial and spinal compartments for which the usual imaging studies are insufficient to reach a diagnosis. Until recently, these pathologies were studied by cisternography/myelography with soluble intrathecal iodinated contrast (CT-CSICM) or by cisternography with radioisotypes (CR). However, recent studies have demonstrated the superiority of MR cisternography/myelography with intrathecal paramagnetic contrast administration (MR-CMCCPI), although its clinical use is restricted.

At first glance, the title of the book may seem like a polemic. Far from it. Reflecting on development and well-being seems urgent and mobilising here and now. It has become a focus of interest in other parts of the world. We have focused this reflection on Africa, tracing its dark and obscure history before proposing possible solutions to ensure that the better future to which the sons and daughters of the African continent aspire becomes a reality. Admittedly, the tendency of some is to withdraw behind a past, to whine all day long, to turn their backs on the light and to seek to establish responsibilities. This book is intended to raise awareness so that young people, intellectuals and readers of all persuasions understand that the future of African countries is not in decline. The aim is to show that they have assets to bring to bear, so that people who are sinking into uncertainty and fear about the future can join in the dynamic of active hope.

The present research addresses the theme "the influence of affectivity in the teaching-learning process", and its main objective is to understand the issue of affectivity in the school context, analysing its influence on the construction of knowledge. The theme was chosen to take knowledge of the Wallonian assumption that the development of the human being should be seen together, where the affective, cognitive and motor aspects need to be taken into account without favouring one to the detriment of others. Thus, the student in the classroom cannot be seen in a fragmented way. The psychogenetic theories of Jean Piaget, Vygotsky, Wallon and the theory of modifiability of the cognitive structure of Reven Feuerstein are the main theoretical references adopted in the research. In addition, the field research through the application of semi-structured interviews, carried out with teachers from the public school system, allowed an analysis of the teacher-student relationship, thus understanding how this relationship is determinant for school success or failure.

In this publication, Edmundo Enrique Vásquez Paz offers interesting ideas on sustainable development and climate change. He proposes the need to provide the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with an agenda for the construction of the necessary "political power" that will be required by those in charge of developing them in practice; and he presents a proposal for generating that power and making the SDGs viable. He discusses the idea of how to guide the work of development planners - at different levels - to generate viable proposals that contribute to social change, to changing the predominant values in our society that underpin the current model of "unsustainability" - even against the very laws of thermodynamics - and proposes systematised ways of proceeding. In his third essay, he presents the current prescriptive and dispositive model in Guatemala in the field of climate change as the coherent construction of several instruments (Policy, Framework Law and Action Plan) in whose design he played a leading role, and explains the reasons for its main characteristics.

Every day, it is necessary, in the academic environment and in educational institutions, to verify, analyse, research, collect information, raise reflections, on educational processes, in order to modify what has an unfruitful or unproductive bias, what has become outdated and does not produce efficiency in the face of the demands and developments of the modern world. In these circumstances, this book brings a proposal, a look at this educational dynamic, especially with regard to young people and adults who, for many reasons, have not been able to follow the natural educational process. The idea of this research on research-reflection of the work of teachers in the educational modality of young people and adults, allows the development of new technologies, based on pedagogical innovations, providing success and opening space for new discussions about education.

Siebzig Jahre nach der Allgemeinen Erklärung der Menschenrechte zeigt die Realität in der Welt eine starke Frustration hinsichtlich des Grades der Erfüllung der Menschenrechte. Bei der Suche nach Antworten zur Umkehrung dieser Situation erscheinen die Menschenpflichten als ein Schlüsselelement, das berücksichtigt werden muss. Als Gegenpol, Grundlage und Grenze zu den Rechten beansprucht die Rechtfertigung der Pflichten eine vehemente Zentralität, um, wie José Saramago fordert, eine bessere Welt zu erreichen. In diesem Essay wird versucht, sich den menschlichen Pflichten auf der Grundlage der Schwierigkeit ihrer Konzeptualisierung zu nähern, dann ist es notwendig, einen historischen Blick auf die Veränderungen des Rechtsparadigmas und die verschiedenen internationalen Dokumente zu diesem Thema zu werfen; diese Reise wird uns wiederum erlauben, bestimmte Ursachen zu bestimmen, die zu ihrer Unsichtbarkeit geführt haben, um schließlich ein Konzept und Merkmale der menschlichen Pflichten vorzuschlagen.

The aim of this paper is to analyse the different changes that have taken place in the curriculum design in the Middle School of the Province of Buenos Aires over the last forty years, considering the political, social, economic and ideological contexts that promoted them, the impact they had on the subjectivity of the educational community of Middle School Nº7 "Roberto Arlt" in Tortuguitas, taken as a testimonial reference for the research, and the negotiations that they generated in the daily school environment, The aim is that they serve as a reflection before the implementation of any reform from the educational policy, so that the proposed change of curricular design has a previous diagnosis of the target population, is viable in practice, promotes the acquisition of significant knowledge, is accompanied by teacher training, adequate building conditions and equipment. This will allow the unfavourable situations present in curriculum design changes to be minimised and the longed-for "quality education for all" to be achieved.
