To make a diagnosis about the students of the Administration course of the IFSUDESTE-MG, Barbacena campus is fundamental for the revision of the pedagogical project of the course and to adequate the education of the students according to the current demands of the labor market, in this sense the research is justified. The general objective of the study is to draw the profile of the students of the Administration course of the IFSUDESTE-MG, Barbacena campus, to understand their evaluation of the course and point out their specific demands for the improvement of the quality in the teaching of Administration, from the definition of the student's profile in order to make the curricular structures more flexible. Among the many findings of the research is the need for greater interchange of practice with theory, updating of subjects and the importance of a greater supply of internships for students.

When we talk about university higher education, it is composed of different elements that influence the cognitive development of a student and the contents that are expected to be applied in their professional life, in this teaching-learning process, there are also elements that prevent the effective learning or uptake of content, One of them is the application of metacognition, which is a method based on self-reflective learning, which seeks to correct the shortcomings presented in the teaching-learning process that affect the student and that the student carries out this process by means of his own means, abilities and skills, adapting to different means of study and learning according to his context.

This paper presents a case study of the defects that occurred during the construction of a Bellmouth. Boca de Sino is a submarine equipment, whose central body is built with USI SAR 80T steel. In order to carry out the welding of this equipment, welding procedures were qualified from USI SAR 80T steel plates, with the requirements required by the AWS D1.1 standard. The submerged arc process (SAW) was selected for welding. In the qualification of the welding procedure, a preheating and no postheating was performed, and no defects occurred during the qualification. After the qualification of the procedures, the construction of the equipment was carried out in an analogous way and during the penetrating liquid examinations the occurrence of cracks was verified.As a proposed solution to the problem, a post-heating heat treatment was carried out, maintaining the temperature between 280 ° C and 300 ° C for 180 minutes with slow cooling. In this way the occurrence of cracks after welding was eliminated.

This paper is an analysis of the anthropological aspects of economic liberalism and its relationship with personalism. Today's reality shows that the hegemony of capitalism in the Western economy still does not resolve the serious situations of poverty that afflict thousands of people, and that the ideal of lasting peace is far from being achieved. These are current challenges for economists, sociologists, politicians and all those committed to contributing to the common good. The market economy promotes the satisfaction of all material needs of those who participate. So what does this economic system lack in order to achieve its goal? The economy seeks to solve three fundamental economic problems: what is to be produced, how the resources will be used and for whom they will be produced. The distribution of income and consumption among individuals are part of the objectives. In this context, it is possible to analyse whether economic liberalism seeks to solve the needs of the consumer, or whether its focus on productivity and profit has not left aside the central issue, which is the individual. The aim is to provide an answer to this question, and to suggest possible future lines of action.

Drug trafficking is an international and even transnational crime, as it crosses borders regardless of the legislation in force. Indeed, drug-related crime affects every continent and every country without exception. States have become aware of the extent of this delinquency, and of the danger they run if they do not try to put a stop to it. And unlike what normally happens at the legislative level, the will to combat this phenomenon originated in international law within the framework of United Nations conventions, before finding its way, rather belatedly, into national legislation.

In this book, the author asserts that Congolese youth has taken on the identity of the street. This posture, which has become detrimental to both the individual and society, demands that all intelligences look it in the face, with the intention of envisaging a favorable outcome likely to stop the hemorrhaging and guarantee a radiant future for the Democratic Republic of Congo. To achieve this goal, the author proposes two alternatives: (i) incarceration of Congolese youth in a re-education center, and (ii) mental treatment at the Neuro Psycho Pathology Center. He justifies this proposal by the fact that, from a legal point of view, the behavior of young people should be considered as an offence. And from a psychological point of view, as a pathology.

Evaluation is a practice and a strategic resource for organisations to diagnose their respective businesses in order to make the best decisions in the course of their processes. Therefore, the main challenge is to define strategies to use these results of educational assessments to improve the classroom and teacher training, in order to achieve quality standards compatible with the new demands of the knowledge society (CASTRO, 2009).

Since the dawn of civilization, history has always been permeated by numerous conflicts, paradoxes and inconsistencies, as well as by achievements and significant progress. This means that international society has undergone several transformations that have profoundly changed its contours, making it more complex and less centered on the figure of sovereign States. In this context, from modern to contemporary international society, humanity has witnessed constant threats to world peace and brutal violations of human rights, triggered by the irrationality of armed conflicts. Notably, since the Second World War, the maintenance of international peace and security has emerged as a vital necessity in the face of the advancing phenomenon of economic globalization. This led to a shift from the old Westphalian anarchic system to an international set of bifurcated arrangements, based on a multicentric and interdependent society. This fact demanded the emergence of new international actors, more dynamic and integrated in a common project of world pacification, deserving to highlight the role played by the United Nations (UN).

Based on this assumption, we will analyze the various aspects that make such a universal work a masterpiece for children and adults alike.The Franco-Egyptian autobiographical experience, in two works by Ahmad Rassim which are selected poems from his collection Le livre de Nysane and also from his diary entitled Le journal d'un pauvre fonctionnaire, is a phenomenon that escapes the theoretical straitjacket even after the Lejeunienne definition that would later shine through in the 1970s, marking the beginning of a literary controversy.

In view of the impact of the "kuluna" phenomenon, which is eating away at the Congolese nation in the primary sense of the term, this work outlines the main socio-professional aspects of this crime against human rights, which has not been compensated and remains terribly devastating in nature, hampering the nation's development.Thanks to this sociolinguistic approach, the author presents these other "Kulunas", guarantors of the res publica, not bystanders, whose actions are increasingly bruising public, institutional/conventional and private life. They are undoubtedly the real architects and initiators of this bluff, with their introduction of kaniaka, kata-kata ideology, the so-called coup sur coup or opération retour! via retro-mission or commission...

The Development model has wearily passed through economic and political time in different ways, with successes and failures, flaws, ideological biases in its interpretation and resistance to successive crises, stagnating the concept in past times. Many times, endless discussions generally more identified with the policies of the public order of the moment, charged the economic theory with a social and political content, whose empirical results did not correspond to the thinking of the theory of origin. It is then when the political dogma was imposed, thus undermining the whole method and episteme of the economic discipline.In this paper we hypothesize on the theories, many times converted into true paradigms that gave results after being tested empirically, but failed beyond their time or in societies with a different past and culture (economically and socially).

Diese Studie befasst sich mit der Nutzung von Informationstechnologie und Internet für das Management, die Vermarktung und den Vertrieb komplexer Tourismusprodukte auf der Ebene von Reisezielen. Sie befasst sich mit der Nutzung von Zielgebiets-Websites und untersucht, welche Elemente von Zielgebiets-Websites deren Erfolg in den Augen der Touristen bestimmen. Es ist beabsichtigt, dass die Studie, basierend auf der Anwendung des neu erstellten Bewertungsrahmens, den Destinationsmanagern dabei helfen kann, die Effektivität ihrer Website im Vergleich zu der ihrer Konkurrenten zu erhöhen, um so die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Destinationen zu unterstützen und letztendlich den Touristen zu helfen.

Against a backdrop of increasing scarcity and the risks of climate change, water resource management has become a major concern throughout the world. Tunisia is one of the countries least endowed with water resources in the Mediterranean basin. Today, managing the demand for agricultural water is a major challenge if we are to ensure food security and promote rural development in arid areas. Aware of this threat, far-reaching reforms (institutional and regulatory) have been made to the irrigated sector with a view to controlling water demand, increasing irrigation water efficiency, improving water efficiency at the plot level and achieving better economic valuation of irrigation water. This paper analyses the limitations of public water resource management policies and the challenges of irrigation water governance in a context of information asymmetry in Tunisia.

From the work of the biology teacher, it is possible to reflect on and propose a pedagogical approach to the teaching of body care, in which experiences and discussions are shared that contribute to highlighting and emphasising the singularities of each subject. In this sense, the following categories are addressed: family, sexuality, health-illness, values and nutrition, thus enabling a worldview to be recognised in relation to these everyday practices.

Dyonelio Machado, author of the novel "Os Ratos", stands out for having broken with the structures of the gaucho literature and abandoned the myth of the hero on horseback to highlight the urban essence of the gaucho capital. The aim of the paper is to discuss the urban descriptions found in "Os Ratos", based on the method of the new Cultural History whose principles, highlight the arguments stating that the world is only perceived as representation through a structure of culturally constructed conventions, schemes and stereotypes. The real will not cease to be real, because it is exactly the fictionality that guarantees identity to social relations, configuring the real and the imaginary not as opposite things, but as indispensable complements to the form of existence of social life.Due to his sensitive vision, several intrinsic aspects of the urban environment, which are intertwined in the transformation and modernization of the city of Porto Alegre, appear in Dyonelio Machado's novel.

International financial integration is a central theme in international finance. Indeed, since the 1990s, the degree of integration of emerging markets has increased significantly, due to the reduction of barriers to portfolio flows, liberalization of capital markets and the introduction of ADRs and country funds on US stock exchanges. In this work, three conditional versions of CAPM International were estimated using data from 22 financial markets over the period 1987-2004. The results indicate that the global market portfolio is conditionally efficient in the mean-variance sense for G7 countries, and that the highest betas are recorded in emerging financial markets. Estimation of the CAPM in the case where the global price of covariance risk is constant, indicates that risk remuneration varies considerably between the 22 countries examined. The global price of covariance risk is only constant for the G7 as a whole, so the financial integration hypothesis is only valid for the largest developed countries.

The large number of vehicles and the poor quality of the roads in the Municipality of Tucuruí lead to traffic conflicts and consequently a large number of accidents, which places an abnormal burden on the public health and social security systems. For effective intervention in traffic, it is necessary to seek reliable data that can guide managers in the decision-making process, thus avoiding wasting financial and human resources. The objective of this research is to discover new scenarios to carry out the processes of recruitment and selection of personnel, based on the fact that these two processes are quite relevant for the success of a company, since this is where it is decided who are the best candidates to join the organization, and help it to achieve better growth, as well as a sustainable organizational change and development. We will focus on explaining a new method, which serves as a primary tool to develop these processes, called: "ADIZES Method", developed by Dr. Ishak Adizes (Adizes Institute), and implemented by the University of California (UCLA, 2000). The technique that this method teaches us is based on the discovery of the skills, characteristics, attitudes, aptitudes, knowledge and abilities that candidates for a position in an organization possess, and that allow the recruitment and selection manager to make better decisions to determine who are the best candidates to fill a position within the organization.

The distal radial approach in interventional cardiology is an innovative and promising technique that uses an artery more superficial than the proximal radial artery primarily in coronary angiography and coronary angioplasty procedures, and perhaps in other types of procedure in the future. This technique offers several advantages over the conventional or femoral approach, including reduced risk of bleeding, vascular complications and pain, and essentially reduced risk of radial artery occlusion, as well as improved patient comfort and quality of life. However, this approach requires a longer learning curve and mastery of specific catheterization techniques, as it can sometimes be limited by anatomical difficulties or individual variations. The distal radial approach is an attractive option in interventional cardiology for eligible patients, which can improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

The present study aimed to verify the acceptability of the videos, produced in the audiovisual department of the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, with audio available in Portuguese, which show pain reduction interventions in children up to one year of age. This is a survey study applied to parents attending a UBS in the municipality of Pelotas, from 15 to 26 January 2018, with a convenience sample of 20 parents. The results showed that parents were unaware of the interventions before watching the videos and afterwards reported the intention to use or recommend breastfeeding (95%). The majority of participants found the videos useful and beneficial, easy to apply and understand. The results suggest that the use of videos, targeted at parents and/or caregivers, to disseminate evidence on pain management is feasible and promising as a knowledge translation strategy. Further studies are needed to evaluate the effects of this parent-targeted intervention.

This book attempts to demonstrate the genesis of the Creole languages of São Tomé and Príncipe (Forró, Lungié, Angolar). These languages, considered to be mother tongues, are disappearing in the islands of the Gulf of Guinea, in contrast to a high level of Portuguese speakers. It begins by analysing the historical and linguistic context, together with theorising the process of emergence of these languages. São Tomé and Príncipe is considered a creole society, but it presents a low level of number of speakers of each of these creoles, presenting a great devaluation and loss over them. The initial point is to show how the construction of the São Toméan Creole society takes place, in several crucial points so that these Creole languages are devalued and marginalised by their speakers and to enable policies and awareness of the population, to deconstruct the paradigm that has been created in relation to these languages in opposition to the language of the coloniser that lasts until daily life.

The development of adult literacy in Brazil has had a lot of impetus with the democratic and popular struggles for this space of democratic participation - the right to learn. Over time, several political and pedagogical measures have been adopted, such as: the Campaign for the Education of Adolescents and Adults, the MOBRAL Movement, Supplementary Education, reaching our present day. The present work seeks to observe this historical process, dwelling on the importance of the formation of the educator of the EJA for an effective work. In this sense, use will be made of a vast theoretical-scientific material which will give greater relevance and credibility to the statements exposed here.

The objectives of the study were to describe and analyse older adults' perception of their ageing process. Eight older adults from Trujillo-Peru participated. The research concepts were: Hume's perception, older adults according to the World Health Organisation and theories of ageing. Qualitative research, descriptive method using the semi-structured interview technique. The results revealed two categories: I. Giving new meaning to my life, with subcategories: Loss of physical and mental capacities and emotional instability and acceptance vs. rejection of the ageing process. II. Sharing my ageing, subcategories: (un)satisfying family experiences during ageing; (un)satisfying social experiences during ageing and religious support for life/death. The research reveals that the perception of older adults regarding their ageing process is dominated by the loss of physical capacities; most of them show acceptance of the process; most of their family and social experiences are satisfactory and all of them perceive religious support during their ageing.

This work was motivated by the need to face a common (and little mentioned) problem in the Brazilian reality: the multiplicity of punitive spheres within the Public Administration. Given the large number of legal norms, it is common for the legislator not to foresee the interaction of the new norm with institutes already existing in the legal system. However, the harmonization of all rules and institutes, especially in the field of sanctioning law, is fundamental to the proper functioning of the system in order to avoid inconsistent and/or conflicting decisions. In this context, this book offers proposals to articulate and communicate, through institutes provided for in the Brazilian legal system, related administrative sanctioning proceedings, highlighting the importance of a system of coherent and harmonious legal prescriptions.

Technologies are tools that have transformed teaching and learning. Numerous educational technology programmes and strategies have been developed to ensure that they are used creatively to benefit learning. They foster relationships between educators and learners, reinvent teaching approaches, and adapt learning experiences. In reading the text, new technologies appear omnipresent among students and teachers, without being omnipotent. Technology is a tool used by teachers not to solve a specific problem, but to support teaching. This phenomenon is relatively unexplored territory in education. While much is unknown about the institutional conditions that help teachers learn new classroom practices, there is even less understanding about how knowledge is created and shared using ICT. That is the understanding sought by this paper.

The choice of correct lighting equipment such as lamps, luminaires, the concern with visual quality, producing brightness, shadows and desired contrasts, contribute to a perfect result for the different residential environments. It is necessary to understand the needs of each space, the subtlety of designing personalised environments as a result of these aspects, but above all technical aspects is the use of creativity.

In the review the data on the use of enzymes of the peroxidase superfamily of plant and fungal origin as catalytic agents for the oxidation of lignin and its model compounds by hydrogen peroxide are considered. A comparative characterization of the structure and mechanism of catalytic action of these enzymes is given. Enzymes of peroxidase family of fungal and plant origin have similar structure, but higher stability and pH-optimum for plant peroxidases are noted. It is concluded that it is promising to conduct studies on the influence of functional nature, polymo-molecular properties and patterns of redox transformations in the process of catalytic oxidation of lignin substances by plant peroxidases.

Flavonoids are one of the classes of plant polyphenols with a wide spectrum of biological action. According to one of the hypotheses, flavonoids perform in plants the role of protective agents under various stresses, participate in preventing the formation of unstable radicals under UV radiation and temperature stress. In the body of animals flavonoids are not formed and come with food, where flavonoids partially undergo a number of changes and are removed from the body in the form of various metabolites, mainly phenolic acids, and mostly unchanged. Several hypotheses based on their antioxidant and metal-binding capacity have been proposed in an attempt to explain such a wide range of flavonoid action. The explanation of the wide range of biological effects of flavonoids, as a result of high antioxidant activity of this class of compounds, to some extent explains the presence of flavonoids ability to reduce the risk of spontaneous tumors, their anti-inflammatory activity, reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease when eating foods rich in polyphenols.

The date of February 24, 2022 will undoubtedly be recognized as an event of unusual gravity, because among a thousand things that can be sustained, the idea that our species, already in this XXI century, has not understood anything in order to avoid a war, stands out. The special military operation ordered by President Putin indicates so, although in the pages of this book the reader will find a concise series of interpretations somewhat distant from the common of what is currently pointed out and commented at a general level in the face of this armed conflict.Nothing more similar to a civil war than this current conflict between Russians and Ukrainians. Children of the same ethnic group and twinned by a deep historical nexus, they are confronting each other in all fields, putting in the minds of the rest of the world the uncertainty of their end. And the danger of a dangerous escalation is on the table given the contribution of some Western countries to Kiev, an element that is surely vital to Ukraine, as its own government maintains. Both great world wars began in the lands of Eastern Europe; Sarajevo in 1914 and Danzig in 1939 are facts that must remain in the global memory.
