The aim of this study was to verify the profile of patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis RA in relation to the use of medications, potential drug interactions and the use of alternative therapies. This is a cross-sectional study in which 31 patients with RA, aged over 18 years, of both sexes, at any stage of treatment, were interviewed. To identify the individuals, the medical records of the Basic Health Unit of the municipality of Jóia/RS were accessed, while the collection was carried out in January 2015. This study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of Unijuí, under Opinion No. 898.482, as recommended by Resolution No. 466/2012.

The purpose of this study is to understand the experience of motherhood in women who have lived the process of raising their children in Nahueltoro, a rural sector of the province of Ñuble. The aim is to know the discourses and social practices on motherhood that are present in their stories and to describe the meanings they give to the links with the social support networks that these women maintain in the exercise of motherhood.

The oral rehabilitation of an edentulous patient, especially one with severe resorption, is a challenge for the clinician. In many cases, additional procedures such as bone grafting are required in order to obtain bone volume and finally to be able to place dental implants. Modern implantology attempts to solve the problem of total rehabilitations in severely atrophied jaws without the need for bone grafts. Surgical techniques such as all-on-four and its variants allow us to reduce morbidity in these cases by performing a single surgery, increasing the predictability of the treatment and reducing the waiting time, all in accordance with established surgical and prosthetic protocols, as well as protocols for immediate loading or early loading in cases where this is planned in this way.

It is characterised as a heliophytic plant, and its popular name refers to the similarity of the bark colouration with the plumage of the bird called Sabiá. This species is cultivated for various purposes, so it is also known as a multi-purpose tree. It has a specific weight of around 0.87 g/cm³ and the fixed carbon content is around 73%, with these characteristics, the species is qualified as a good option for firewood and charcoal.

There has been much discussion about the moment of emergence of the personality of the human person, for the purposes of civil rights. However, although the Brazilian Civil Code determines the emergence of personality, through the birth with life of the baby, this codex also protects the unborn child. Which brings us to the present study, given that allowing the realisation of abortion indiscriminately, up to a certain period, is to determine that, while the fetus does not reach a certain gestational age, it will not be protected by legislation, thus leaving it at the mercy of the subjectivity of each one. Furthermore, this study covers a whole current sociological problem, as well as possible and future, if the criminal legislation is changed to allow the interruptive procedure. In short, this book analyses the history of abortion throughout the trajectory of humanity and the legislation of each era on the subject until the present time. A work that aims to nourish the search for information, researchers in the sociological, medical, legal area, representatives of public administration, as well as defenders and protectors of human rights and dignity of the human person!

This research is the application of the personal and group study carried out by the author to his teaching activity. This analysis is based on the documentary review of authors who present concepts and methods for carrying out an Introduction to Philosophy, as well as the discussion on the meaning and significance of the relevance and relevance of philosophical knowledge in its link with the reality of education. The Interactive Didactic Guide aims to show a path followed by the author of this research, it does not intend to replace any of the Instructional Materials mentioned in the previous paragraph, but rather it can be understood as a complement to them. It stops to review what and how an Introduction to Philosophy can be approached, a task that is different from a History of Philosophy, a Philosophy of History or a Philosophy of Education.

In the River Basin Committees, prices are set according to criteria and in a participatory manner between water users, civil organisations and public authorities. The current panorama of the implementation of charging in the Paranapanema basin has different contexts in the states of São Paulo and Paraná, as well as in the Union. In the State of São Paulo, the three Committees have the implementation of the Charge for the Use of Water Resources at a more advanced stage. CBH-Pontal do Paranapanema and CBH-Médio Paranapanema implemented the charge in 2018. The CBH-Alto Paranapanema has its implementation proposal already approved by state decree. The State of Paraná and the Federal Government have not yet implemented charging and are in the process of preparing and approving their Basin Plans. In basins where the user is not charged for water use, inconsistent grant values are observed, because those granted use this tool as a market reserve, as there is no incentive for rationalisation or inspection.

Following on from the first volume, devoted to the study of "actantial figures of decline" in the novels of Portuguese neo-realist writer Carlos de Oliveira: Casa na Duna, 1942, Pequenos Burgueses, 1948, Uma Abelha na Chuva, 1953 and Finisterra, 1978; this second volume, entitled "spatiotemporal figures of decline", takes a semiotic and epistemological approach to the faces of time and space. The author explores the signs of human decay with a theoretical apparatus based on psychoanalysis (Gaston Bachelard), psychocriticism (Charles Mauron), geopoetics (Michel Collot) and geocriticism (Christine Baron). The rural space of the Gândara, a lunar setting where humanity struggles close to chaos, is analysed in minute detail. Chronological time is considered in its inexorable evolution towards decadence or in the fossilising conservatism it inspires in the petty bourgeoisie. A microcosm of Portuguese society at the time of the Salazar dictatorship, the domestic circle is symbolised by swamps that ferment and then offer the troubled faces of metamorphosis towards death.

This book is a work that was elaborated from the work, done in the course, of Civil Engineers Lara Borba Egídio and Nicole Borges Nascimento. The work was presented as a partial requirement for obtaining a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at the Institute of Higher Education of Brasília (IESB). The guidance and editing of the publication was done by Professor Matheus Leoni Martins Nascimento. The work presented here seeks to raise awareness, albeit in an incipient way, about the importance of maintenance activities in buildings. This was done by presenting a literature review with the main topics related to maintenance, as well as by applying the case study presented. It is noted that the results obtained can be used as a form of improvement for construction companies, in view of the amount of data analysed, which shows the relevance of the research. The Toyota crossroads is one of the entrance crossroads into the city of Cotonou, to which four branches connect, including three of the Route Nationale Inter-Etat No. 1. This crossroads is very often saturated at peak times (weekday mornings and evenings) because of the volume of traffic observed on this crossroads but also because of the many converging and diverging conflicts that make traffic difficult. Directional counts were carried out in a wider area around the junction over a five-day period, and are presented in the second part of this document (the first being devoted to general information on transport in sub-Saharan Africa). The average of these five days of counting shows that the roads with the highest number of heavy goods vehicles and light vehicles are: the Stade de l'Amitié - Carrefour Toyota road and the Carrefour Toyota - Etoile Rouge road, while the Carrefour Toyota - Cadjèhoun road has a moderate number of these types of vehicles. This book deals in its entirety with the problems of traffic fluidity in major cities throughout the world and proposes appropriate and optimal solutions.

With the constant adaptation of companies to the globalisation process, culminating in the establishment of high competitiveness, the need to deliver results that add value to customers becomes more rigid. For this reason, employees are increasingly required to be agile in processes to increase organisational productivity. Labour has become an object of desire for society to fit into the workforce. The complexity of the human being and because it is full of emotions, brings with it various claims, perspectives and interests aiming at its growth and specialisation within the business environment. That said, it is necessary to give up the idea that the human being works driven only by remuneration and rejects the feelings that are part of the whole process of personal and professional development. The perspective of the employee as a mere executor of tasks is demotivating and generates constant conflicts in the business environment. Given this situation, organisations need to make provisions to ensure that employees have quality of life in their work, thus maintaining their productivity and satisfaction.

The book presents several articles in which the first analyses some concepts and visions on the role of the United Nations in the process of African Liberation, seeking a reflection on the changes in the perception and interpretation of the African political, social and economic environment in different phases. It sought to reflect on the significance of the landscapes of fear that have characterised and characterise the black continent to this day. It also establishes the relationship between the stance of political elites and the transfiguration of those landscapes in the light of post-WWII events correlated to the neo-colonial phenomenon. The Second points to the phenomenon of Erosion as one of the main forms of environmental degradation peculiar to developing countries. Its impacts are mainly manifested in agriculture as well as in land use planning. This aggravates the hunger situation of an ever-growing population in those countries and the occurrence of floods in low-lying areas where the majority of the population, i.e. the less favoured classes, live.

The aim of this work is to study the transformation of the character's consciousness in Michel Butor's Modification from a semiotic perspective. The aim is to retrace the subject's pragmatic, cognitive and passionate journeys in order to gain a better understanding of the shifting nature of his consciousness during his journey from Paris to Rome. The work also looks at the aesthetic question of the text accompanying the transformation of the subject's consciousness.

The monograph considers the physicochemical features of the synthesis of anion exchangers and polycomplexons based on polyacrylonityryl. Physical and chemical properties and some areas of application are considered. It is shown that the industrial polymer polyacrylonitrile (nitrone fiber) can serve as a basis for the synthesis of various ion-exchange materials and polycomplexons. The monograph can be recommended to researchers working in the field of polymer chemistry, as well as as a guide for doctoral students, undergraduates and undergraduate students of chemical departments of universities specializing in the field of macromolecular compounds.Tables 32. The general objective of this study is to analyse the food vulnerability of households in Bangui during a security crisis. This general objective is followed by two specific objectives: i) to assess the impact of the security situation on the living conditions of households in Bangui; ii) to identify the main features of food vulnerability at household level and their coping strategies. The central research question is: what is the impact of the security crisis on household food vulnerability in Bangui? Firstly, the security situation and living conditions of households in Bangui have deteriorated, since a transformation and an increase in household vulnerability have been observed over the past decade. Secondly, in a security crisis situation, households would be characterised by extreme poverty and would adapt by reducing expenditure on non-essential goods and the number of meals.

To overcome racism, the Black man faces a mountain of seemingly insurmountable challenges. But what is the reality? Life teaches us to control our passions, to use our best assets to overcome adversity with the greatest magnanimity. Experience brings self-confidence. The fundamental thesis of this book is that "the image of the Black man has been degraded from generation to generation by his loss of freedom, despite hypocritical efforts at rehabilitation, feeding racism, poverty, ignorance and cowardice. The originality of this study of the realities and values of all black societies over the last two millennia lies in the fact that I have been able to shed light on the shadowy areas of a tragic social situation caused by the misdeeds of racism, by linking cause and effect, and by offering definitive solutions to the black question.

The work brings the importance that psychology has for theology, analysing the characteristics of the dialogue between them, with the purpose of instrumentalising the counsellor, within the context of Practical Theology. This possibility of expanding the limits of training, considering the challenges of pastoral care in receiving people with increasingly complex emotional and spiritual difficulties, makes this work relevant to the present day. The history of the last three centuries where psychology was born as a science (1879) and developed in various types, methods and areas, approaching and relating to theology, can answer the following question: what types of psychology favour dialogue with theology, contributing to excellence in caring for lives? The rapprochement between the two sciences has been marked at the same time by moments of tension and moments of relative harmony. The search for this interdisciplinarity can generate benefits for both theology and psychology, even if it is necessary to overcome the existing clashes between them.

The impossibility of denying the importance of Economics in our society and, specifically, in Law, is striking when we realise the precision of its tools, even starting from a human science to delimit the results of its studies. It is realised that, when using economic science together with legal science, a notorious dynamism is caused for the performance of the operators of the law with greater decision-making power in our legal system, that is, legislators and magistrates. However, using economics in law requires special care, given that the core of the former is the quantification of results, always seeking the lowest cost for the best solution to your dispute. Already, the second, there is a resolution of conflicts through justice, which, inevitably, removes a better result for the whole, generating some indignation by the delay in solving problems, especially in Brazil, as well as the lack of prognosis to avoid future divergences. Thus, we sought, through the philosophical and doctrinal bases of both sciences, to understand the role of Economics in Law, through the Law & Economics movement, in times of advancing Neoliberal thinking.

This book compiles the design and research process of the project 'Myriam and the magic chain', which seeks to merge pedagogy with design to make reading a fun and motivating space for children in early childhood. The methodology used contemplates a participatory design, in which the children played a leading role, as they expressed their tastes and imagination in the creation stage of this picture book.

The aim of this paper is to analyse the agendas debated by the homosexual movement during the period of the Brazilian military regime, and how they sensitised the social environment to the construction of a new identity around homosexuality. The 1970s were transformative, new behaviours and questions about the order emerged, social groups hitherto little heard, began to demand space and fight for recognition and respect in society. With the deepening of police repression and persecution, Brazilian homosexuals began to fight directly against heteronormativity, and we will see this with the creation of activist groups, street protests and the creation of newspapers aimed at this public. In this perspective, we will use the alternative periodical Lampião da Esquina and its section Cartas na Mesa to understand the new homosexual positioning.

Over time, the activities that are socially valued and have had the greatest prestige are those in the public sphere, mainly carried out by the male gender, activities that imply social recognition, which leads us to reflect on why the activities that are carried out in the private sphere, mostly relegated to the female gender, are the least socially valued. In contrast to the public sphere, they are neither perceived nor valued. How can the public and private spheres be brought together for women who work, and it is therefore important to address the problems that women face when they become involved in the world of work, which is a male-dominated sphere. Once they have entered the professional sphere, to what extent can they speak of their femininity in order to be able to integrate into this sphere? In which feminine and masculine are shaped by a mutual, cultural and historical relationship, where both genders complement each other, maturing and finding fulfilment as human beings, from the possibility of choosing without external pressures, without ideas that limit the capacities and potential of each one.

El monte redondo: una interpretación transhistórica del conflicto armado en Colombia (The round mountain: a transhistorical interpretation of the armed conflict in Colombia) is a concern about how images of events pertaining to the national reality are constructed through the mass media. Aware that dealing with the armed conflict is a titanic task, I have decided to focus on two singular points in this history: the seizure and retaking of the Palace of Justice by the M-19 in November 1985 and the seizure of the municipality of Miranda, Cauca in October 1985, through the creation of an archive of the newspapers El Tiempo and La República on the seizure of the Palace of Justice and the creation of a set of oral accounts of the seizure of Miranda, Cauca, with the intention of rethinking reality and reactivating memory.

The main basis of our education system is its great diversity, which leads us to make available specific intervention strategies that allow us to guide reflection and practice. It is a fact that "the highest priority of the Ministry of Public Education is to have a quality, equitable, transparent and democratic education system" (SEP, 2011 a), which responds to the needs identified in students, since classes that are focused on the transmission of knowledge are no longer as appropriate to meet the expectations of academic training that society demands. This is why the need to guarantee education for all generated many initiatives and triggered the elaboration and development of innovative programmes and projects in order to guarantee basic education to all people, as it is a fundamental human right from which no one can be excluded.

In an increasingly competitive market, companies need to present a differential to stand out. Integrated logistics is a determining factor for this differential, as it helps to save time and adds value to the final product, thus being essential for any organisation, as it integrates the processes that are used in a production line from raw material to the final product. A poorly organised stock or inadequate storage of products can lead to devaluation of the material in addition to generating loss of money with its obsolescence. That is why companies have been adopting the method of working with zero stock, having only a safety stock for adverse situations at will. The strategies must be well defined for the processes to occur effectively. With the use of appropriate tools such as supply chain management, just in time or integrated logistics (linking all the processes involved within a company), results can be improved.

The future of primary health care is not directed towards the care of illness, nor to the sphere of the individual. The importance of the projection of this level of care is conditioned by its capacity to direct its priorities towards the promotion of health, working in the group sphere. For this reason, it requires different professional profiles to those who, until now, have been the main focus of care. "Primary Health Care should be the main function of any Health System", as it resolves 70-80% of human pathologies and fulfils, in addition to the curative functions, irreplaceable and decisive tasks of promotion and prevention. The Alma-Ata conference had a decisive influence on the proposals to transform the predominantly curative social security model into a new model based on the promotion and protection of health and the strengthening of primary health care structures as the central function of the national health system and an integral part of social and economic development.

Sabussowia dioica is a gonochoric free-living flatworm that is an exception in the Plathelminthes phylum, where hermaphroditism is the rule. Very little is known about its biology. This work presents, for the first time, a description using light and electron microscopy of all aspects of its reproduction: gametogenesis, fertilisation, oviposition and development. Spermatogenesis in rosettes and the structure of the filiform and biflagellate spermatozoon are consistent with the Plathelminthe model. The heterocellular female gonad has 2 ovaries and numerous vitellogenic glands. Oocytes containing ribonucleoprotein lobules and cortical granules are produced in the ovaries. Yolk globules and shell globules are produced in the yolk cells. Fertilisation occurs in the ovaries by hypodermic impregnation from spermatophores deposited on the female's body, a process first reported in Triclades. A few eggs and thousands of yolk cells are collected in oviposition cocoons. The stages of development are described. This document will be of interest to zoologists and biologists.

Currently, educational policy prioritises education for all and the inclusion of students who, not long ago, were excluded from the school system because they had physical and/or cognitive disabilities. However, a large number of students (children and adolescents), who over time presented learning difficulties and were doomed to school failure, could not attend schools and were labelled in general as "difficult students". However, we cannot deny that knowledge and/or learning has a guaranteed presence in any projection that is made of the future. That is why there is a consensus that the development of a country is conditioned to the quality of its education. Thus, the objective of this work focused on identifying and analysing the elements that constitute the inclusion practices of visually impaired students in a Technical and Vocational Education Institution. Being exploratory and descriptive, the research universe was delimited by the interview with blind students of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology - IFBA, Salvador campus.

In this paper, I analyse spontaneous abortion, based on psychoanalytic authors who have dedicated themselves to the subject. I start from the premise that it is the result of an unconscious desire to deny pregnancy, materialised in the form of an interference with the woman's body. This abortion takes place in individual histories and can only be understood in this way. Experiencing it creates suffering, because the interruption of pregnancy is felt as a castration of the creative capacity and continuity of existence, which would be possible through a child. Therefore, it is of fundamental importance to offer prophylactic work in health services, which allows women and families to express their feelings, contributing to the elaboration of a mourning for spontaneous abortion.

Stress remains a key factor in maintaining health in the workplace. Indeed, it is a major cause of occupational illness and accidents. The book presents the institutional and legal framework of hygiene, health and safety at work; the foundations of stress; and the manifestations and innovative practical approaches to preventing stress. Indeed, the anticipatory approach to stress is highlighted in this practical book.
