When working with a given population, class, ethnicity, locality; one cannot always act based on a pre-established pattern. The pharmaceutical professional must act by investigating the particularities of a place. This book demonstrates the particularities found in the micro-region of Zona da Mata Mineira, especially Muriaé and Eugenópolis in the years 2009-2012. There is special emphasis on the work: Evaluation of the incidence of parasitosis in an elderly population in a public shelter, in the city of Eugenópolis - MG.

Like any human creation, the state has undergone major transformations over its five centuries of existence. The purpose of this paper is to analyse ideological conceptions of the state. A biography of the state allows us to see how some of its features have altered. These alterations have been influenced by changes in its economic, social and cultural environment, leading to variants of the state form. It is concluded that the emergence of the modern state is generally situated in the Renaissance, while the contemporary state was born after the French Revolution. The state is a form of political organisation that can by no means be considered universal within the long historical process of the Western world. This research is part of the theoretical results of the graduate thesis entitled "Neoliberalism, structural adjustment and the state in Latin America", presented for the degree of Magister Scientiarum in Political Science and Public Law, Political Science at the University of Zulia, under the tutelage of Dr. Antonio Tinoco.

This book presents a thorough and unprecedented study in southern Brazil on the new cinemas of the 1960s and international relations and how these two areas merge to form the phenomenon of the emergence of a revolutionary, activist and resistance auteur cinema against military dictatorships and US imperialism. The method of analysing international politics created by Robert Putnam was used, through three case studies: Argentina, Brazil and Chile, with reference to the main significant films for this movement in each of the countries mentioned. The study was based on Vânia Bambirra's dependency theory, as well as elements of the constructivist theory of international relations and refrained from carrying out a film critique of the works, only an analysis within the great international phenomenon (Cuban Revolution) and its repercussions on artistic micro phenomena, such as the new cinemas in Latin America in the 1960s.

The study of a Rural Intentional Community had as its driving factor the more general problem of the crisis of environmental degradation in which current society finds itself and around which a great sociological debate has been taking shape. Reflecting on the evolution of this theoretical debate - where an attempt was made to contemplate the different phases of this evolution, ranging from its neglect in the case of classical theories, to its integration into a more general theory of society as occurred with the theories of modernity, through its consolidation that the North American perspectives of Catton and Dunlap and Dickens' dialectical realism led to - it was found that the relevance of studying how these communities are organised is not limited to the fact that they base their organisation on a new environmental relationship, but also a new social relationship. This work summarises empirical research in a Rural Intentional Community in Portugal, developed through participant observation, where one can get in touch with an alternative type of organisation to that of the dominant society, based on self-reliance, self-government and symbiosis with nature.

The aim of this study was to verify the existence of the phenomenon of mineral resource plundering in the DRC, both from a legal and criminological point of view, and to determine the role of the public prosecutor and the powers of Congolese courts in prosecuting the perpetrators of this plundering. At the end of an in-depth examination, it was shown that there is indeed a phenomenon of looting of mining resources in the DRC. This phenomenon, which is perpetuated by both individuals and corporate bodies, is encouraged in particular by wars. Furthermore, it has been noted that Congolese legislation has not explicitly conceptualized economic crimes, particularly the plundering of mining resources. This undoubtedly leads to legislative evasion. Reinforcing existing institutional mechanisms, explicitly defining looting and the role of the Public Prosecutor's Office with regard to looting, and redefining the powers of Congolese courts in this area would therefore be an essential step in repressing the looting of mineral resources in the DRC.

The affluent Congolese of Kolwezi in Katanga, who consider medical care in their own country to be unsafe, have no hesitation in seeking treatment abroad, whatever the cost. Only the poor still seek treatment locally in Kolwezi (300 km from Lubumbashi, capital of Katanga province), in south-western DR Congo. For some years now, the richest have preferred to go to South Africa, India, China, the United States or Europe, where they claim to benefit from quality medical care. Lisette Kalonga, a shopkeeper from Kolwezi who has just been treated in India, explains that "the patients' crisis of confidence in public hospitals" is the main reason why many wealthy Congolese seek treatment abroad.

In an economic era marked by fierce competition, companies must adopt all the methods authorized by law to improve their competitiveness and keep pace with the global economic market, by means of various restructuring operations, the most important and most widely used of which are partial asset contributions. This is the only restructuring operation that has no legal definition in Tunisian law. The Tunisian legislator has merely listed it among the various methods of increasing the capital of existing companies or creating new companies, without however presenting a specific tax regime for the partial contribution of assets. This book attempts to clarify the ambiguity of the concept of partial asset contribution in Tunisian law.

Analysis of what motivates the volunteer and the benefits of volunteering for them. Interviews with professionals who have already carried out voluntary work, in which their views on the subject are exposed. They discussed the importance of this type of activity, the issues of changes and influences provided by this activity and the motivation of volunteers. The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is a joint between the temporal bone and the condylar process of the mandible, responsible for mandibular movements. As it is considered the most complex of the organism, it has some peculiar characteristics and is susceptible to triggering various malfunctions over time, as in the case of congenital, degenerative or traumatic diseases and diagnosis and treatment may require action by a multidisciplinary team, pharmacological, non-pharmacological and surgical treatment. This study aimed to address the anatomical aspects of the TMJ and the disorders that can be developed over time, as well as the possibilities of treatment.

The clandestine occupation of national parks by certain farmers has put their lives at risk. Elephants in these protected areas, no longer knowing where to go, pop up in plantations as well as camps and claim victims. A study was carried out in August and September 2014 with the aim of characterizing human-elephant conflicts in the Sikensi locality. To this end, the use of a questionnaire made it possible to collect farmers' opinions. Survey data were supplemented by direct observations in the field. A great deal of damage is caused to crops when elephants raid fields. Large areas of crops are destroyed. Crops are attacked at critical stages such as ripening, intermediate and young. Food crops remain the worst affected.

Through this work, we have tried to find out more about the issue of SME financing, by shedding light on Islamic finance, and what it can bring to small businesses. This research is aimed at students wishing to do research on the topic of participatory financing, in addition to the problem of SME financing, since most banks refuse to give credit to companies that do not present sufficient guarantees. In this work, I tried to gather information from several books. I have referred to them. Nevertheless, it has to be admitted that the small and medium-sized enterprise sector, like the Islamic banking system, is both recent, and they have amazed the economic world with their rapid growth. If ever there was cooperation between the two, things could go faster, for SMEs as well as for Islamic banks.

The present work deals with the challenges faced by the tutor who acts as a mediator in Distance Education (DE) and his necessary ethical conduct to deal with the possible problems encountered. The motivating reflection is that ethics must permeate all human relationships. The conduct of the tutor is a key part in this process, as it is up to him to demonstrate and ensure: loyalty in the group, professionalism, dedication in activities, common sense. In addition to constantly improving in their area of knowledge and in the use of new technologies available, the tutor must internalise ethical principles, aiming to establish a relationship of empathy and mutual cooperation, subsidies of a full and citizen education.

This work shows the relevance of knowing the dimensions of the organization of school management and the contributions of psychopedagogy, within the paradigmatic changes, within the paradigmatic changes, along with the inclusion process, within an analysis of the contributions of psychopedagogy in the educational process, in the face of the current pedagogical and social demands experienced by an inclusive school, seeking to understand the historicity of educational management within Brazil, the paradigmatic changes and their confrontations, as well as the relationship between the dimensions of organization and how to ensure an inclusion process within educational management. It was found that the success of any management permeates the public will to promote continued education, investing in human resources, which involves multiprofessional teams, and in complying with the laws, as well as the proper use of actions, with the support of the sciences in the appropriate referrals around the real needs of the collegiate.

One of the milestones in the history of Brazilian politics refers to the mandate and suicide of Getúlio Vargas: the president who acted as the forerunner of the use of cinema in electoral campaigns in Brazil. Vargas was an enthusiast of the seventh art and, in the 1950 elections, he managed to deconstruct the image of a dictator - established during his Estado Novo government (1937 and 1945) - through electoral newsreels, transmuting it to the image of a "saviour of the country". The work "Vargas's electoral campaign: the advent of the cinejournal" elucidates the ideological, political and party strategies implemented by the then President of the Republic and marketing professional, Lourival Fontes, ranging from the populist banners used by Vargas to the analysis of campaign materials, especially the cinejornais.

This book situates his reflections with greater emphasis on the second period of Walter Benjamin's philosophical trajectory, a phase in which his writings place themselves more incisively at the service of political engagement. We seek to highlight the path of his analysis of the aestheticisation of politics and the politicisation of art in his aesthetic theory. The intention is not to be satisfied only with the scandals that the aestheticisation of politics and life have caused in industrialised capitalist countries, but to glimpse the possibilities of emancipation of individuals. The path followed involves a reflection on the philosophy of W. Benjamin and an analysis of the process of destruction of the aura of the arts described in his essay The Work of Art in the Age of Its Technical Reproducibility of 1936. Living in a time where the barbarism of war and political totalitarianism reigns, Walter Benjamin seeks to print, in his analysis, a dialectical perspective in order to arouse a revolutionary intervention of the politicised masses through cinema and epic theatre and widely reproduced avant-garde art. It also aims to demonstrate the prevalence of the aestheticisation of politics anchored in the strong interference of the media.

The present work shows us a problem which corresponds to the factors of resilience in women who have been abused for different reasons such as fear, ignorance of their rights, and the lack of internal and external sources of support. Because it is important that women victims of abuse are taken into account in the development of research that makes it possible to understand the factors that intervene in overcoming their situation. Because the traumatic event affects the quality of life of these women and analysing the problem allows us to recognise strategies for overcoming it.

The novelty is the personalisation of the relationship with customers, called "one to one" marketing. This study was developed by the descriptive methodology through the case study, seeking to investigate whether the so-called "one to one" marketing can provide relevant support to the entrepreneur to obtain revenues and longevity in business, this, through the formation of a customer portfolio that guarantees the enterprise.

This book was produced from the discipline of Soil Use, Management and Conservation of the Agronomy course at IFC Rio do Sul. Due to the lack of information on the Direct Planting System (SPD) in the Alto Vale do Itajaí-SC Region, the authors prepared a data survey on this conservationist soil management system with the support of EPAGRI extension workers in 6 municipalities in the Region. initially, the book presents a historical context of land occupation and use in the region and its main soil preparation systems. Next, a current context of SPD in some reference properties is outlined, listing its main characteristics and the conservation practices that are being well used, as well as the practices associated with SPD that still need to be improved. Finally, the role of technical assistance and rural extension agents is highlighted as those responsible for raising the quality and achieving greater success of the system.

The main objective of this research was to study the different ways of constructing otherness by using disgust to create a "trashed other" in the context of the years of violence in Peru (1980-2000). During this period, Peru became the battleground of a unique war: the "war from the countryside to the city" advocated by the Communist Party of Peru - Shining Path (PCP-SL), which was repressed with violence, also insane, by the armed forces, and which left the terrible aftermath of 69,280 dead. Disgust is not only a biological reaction but a cultural construct. This is the reason why the borders between what is considered disgusting or not depend on our morals, ethical perspective, perception of reality and the rules between what we consider pure and dangerous.Authoritarian discourses have played an important role in the magnitude of this episode in recent Peruvian history.

Locomotion is generated by a semi-autonomous neural network in the spinal cord, under the influence of supraspinal control and peripheral afferents. In the event of spinal cord injury, loss of stimulation from descending pathways renders the locomotor network silent. Since serotonin (5HT) is a supraspinal neurotransmitter essential for locomotion, its use in rodents facilitates re-expression of this neuronal circuit and recovery of motor functions following spinal injury. This effect is accompanied by a neuronal reorganization that should be visible in reflex responses. Our aim is therefore to observe the reflex modulation induced by the use of buspirone, a 5HT1A partial agonist conducive to the re-expression of locomotion in adult spinal mice. An unanesthetized decerebrate mouse model was developed to measure the modification of H-reflex excitability by buspirone following a complete spinal lesion over a 60-minute post-injection period.

The aim of this study is to contribute, not only to promote and improve students' reading comprehension in the area of science, and to apply it to all areas of knowledge. But also to strengthen the communication links between all students and between students and teachers, so that the educational process develops in a harmonious climate, where everyone is willing to make a contribution to improve education.

Animal production in Gabon is low, particularly in the fish farming sector. Against this backdrop, a trial of larval production by artificial incubation of Oreochromis niloticus eggs was carried out in the Parc de la Lékédi. A total of 60 broodstock, including 15 males and 45 females, were collected in the wild and seeded into 3 x 5 m2 breeding tanks. Individual weights ranged from 150 to 350 g, with an average of 224 g. Total lengths ranged from 20 to 26 cm. These broodstock were fed a 3 mm floating pelleted complete feed, once a day each morning. After an adaptation period of 2 weeks, egg collection from the mouths of the females began and lasted 4 months. The eggs were incubated in 1.5 l plastic bottles with a conical shape towards the beak, after being disinfected in a 30% formaldehyde solution. The physico-chemical parameters of the water were not controlled throughout the trial. As a result, egg development was possible under these conditions, but the survival rate was less than 1%.

If, through a little advice, I were to contribute in any way to the success of dachshunds, bloodhounds and their owners, I would be fulfilling my duty, and the long months spent on these stories would bear fruit. In this book, I have transcribed all the knowledge I have acquired over a lifetime as a handler and breeder. I give the techniques I have used and still use, and those which have taken me to the highest level of international competition and made my reputation worldwide.

This study, carried out in 2014 as part of a Master's degree in Anthropology, has lost none of its relevance. On the contrary, it shows with sufficient objectivity, or at the very least ethnographic benevolence, the overall logic of the secular Western imaginary that could only lead to this paradigmatic shift with anthropological consequences that could not be more disruptive: Transhumanism.

Our objective was to assess the environmental impacts of land use in two regions of the state of Acre-Brazil, comparing the practices of "traditional settlers" (mostly descendants of rubber tappers) and "recent settlers" (migrants from the south and southeast regions of the country). The environmental sustainability of rural properties was estimated by the "System of Land Suitability for Environmental Recovery - SATRA" (WADT et al., 2004), which compared current land use and prescribed use by a set of environmental and socioeconomic performance indicators, covering four dimensions: agricultural, biodiversity, economic and social.
