The fig (Ficus carica L.) is the fruit of the fig tree, a member of the Moraceae family, which is the emblem of the Mediterranean basin, where it has been cultivated for thousands of years. Mediterranean countries are the main producers of figs. Algeria produces 12.54% of the world's total fig crop. This fruit is a rich source of fiber, trace elements, antioxidant polyphenols, proteins, sugars, organic acids and volatile compounds that provide a characteristically pleasant aroma. Recently, a great deal of research has focused on the nutritional, physicochemical and pharmacological quality of this fruit. Thus, the proximate composition of fig fruit is reported by various researchers as 77.5 to 86.8% moisture, 2.53 to 3.08% ash, 9.453 to 26.016 (g / 100 g) carbohydrates, 4.4 to 6.7% protein and 4 to 7.4% fiber on fresh weight. Phenolic compounds are a group of secondary metabolites that contribute not only to the fruit's sweet, bitter and astringent taste, but also to its aroma. Figs are rich in glycosidic flavonols, anthocyanins and other polyphenols.

What can we learn from the women's land tenure system in the Commune of Chaddra, and from the RTF project's contribution to women's socio-economic activities and empowerment through its five-year intervention in Bahr el-Gazal? At the end of this work, it was revealed that access to land and women's empowerment through market gardening are still problematic in the commune of Chaddra. It's true that in some areas surrounding Chaddra, access is by inheritance, alliance or purchase, but control is still problematic. Despite the intervention of the RTF project, women are not totally autonomous in some respects (social, of course). So, to achieve a useful end, we asked a number of questions. Our starting point was the question of how women can seize the opportunities that exist in their environment to combat poverty and contribute to sustainable development. Our crucial concern was also to find out whether the RTF project's contribution to the socio-economic empowerment of women in the Chaddra locality?

The present work exposes the main transformations occurred in Las Tunas in the educational field from 1959 to the present time from the perspective of a historical analysis. It reflects facts and processes that reveal important aspects of the evolution of secondary and pre-university schools in the countryside (ESBEC and IPUEC), polytechnics and the Pre-University of Exact Sciences (IPVCE) Luis Urquiza Jorge. The author shows unpublished data of different institutions and levels of education, found during his research in archives of his province and other territories of the country.

Biologically, human feeding begins immediately after childbirth, through the milk produced by the mammary glands of puerperal women. This act, embryologically "automatic" in mammals in general, differs with regard to Homo Sapiens, since breastfeeding requires learning on the part of the new mother and the newborn. From then on, once the mother-child bond is established, breastfeeding is fully consolidated and the good development of the offspring is observed over the days and months. However, the "biological act" walks on the anthropological and holistic nuances, where maternal fears and anxieties can impair the good performance of breastfeeding. Thus, it is necessary that technical knowledge be disseminated to the general population, through public policies of the bodies that regulate health. In this context, in Brazil, through Low Risk Prenatal Care, developed in the Primary Care of the Unified Health System, pregnant women are monitored from pregnancy until the end of the six months suggested for Exclusive Breastfeeding. Therefore, this monitoring of lactating women is of paramount importance for good breastfeeding.

Science teaching by investigative methodology has been a didactic alternative for student learning. In this tool, the teacher can diversify his practice in everyday school life, aiming to streamline classes and develop skills and competences in students. Of the types of activities with an investigative character available, the investigative practice activity was chosen as the object of research in this study. To this end, an investigative activity on blood typing within the ABO system was developed, where students were able to simulate in a simple and safe way the reactions that occur during the procedure of identifying the blood group of the ABO system.

Party autonomy is a principle relating to the freedom of the parties to choose the law applicable to an international contract. However, this principle is limited by rules of public policy, and more generally by mandatory provisions, which reduce the scope of this autonomy. In order to improve the application of these rules while guaranteeing a degree of predictability, it is important to study in detail the origin and nature of public policy rules. A comparative study with Egyptian private international law is necessary to perfect the current mechanisms. The current conceptual debate highlights the role of international cooperation, in addition to purely state interests, which will give rise to a new transnational, even supranational, public policy.

Work developed in the postgraduate course in constitutional law at IDCC-Londrina. Brazil resonates for improvements, and the Brazilian people bed for improvement of public services. It turns out that the problem of inefficiency of public service is linked to the scarcity of resources, which in turn has corruption as an enemy. It is worth saying, therefore, that the fight against corruption is inexorable with the theme of scarcity of resources. The use of popular action as a fight against improbity is a frontal theme in the fight against this scourge, to the extent that the use by the citizen of this constitutional action assists institutional bodies in combating illicit acts that affect public assets.

The recurrent socio-political crises that Côte d'Ivoire has experienced since the 1990s culminated in an armed rebellion in 2002, followed by a post-electoral crisis in 2011. Throughout these years, the school has been a catalyst for all the social and political struggles. Young trade union leaders at the head of student organisations have positioned themselves as major players. The crises that emerged in Côte d'Ivoire's public universities, mainly within the FESCI (Fédération Estudiantine et Scolaire de Côte d'Ivoire), crystallised into open opposition between the "Young Patriots" and the MPCI on the one hand, and between "pro-Gbagbo" or LMP youth and "pro-Ouattara" or RHDP youth on the other. How have these young leaders positioned themselves as major players in these political crises? Political instruments or actors? What are the social determinants that explain their political and social trajectory? This study presents the results of 'close-up' observation based on biographical and autobiographical accounts and newspaper articles.

This book is the compilation of the author's undergraduate research in Philosophy. It aims to present a reflection on Western philosophical thought and to emphasise, above all, the criticism developed by Levinás of the philosophy of totality, which is at the basis of this tradition, and which has reduced the Other to the Same and has become an obstacle to ethical life - openness and acceptance of the Other. He wants to demonstrate that ethical life is only possible when the Same (I) responds to the call of sensitivity towards the Other. From this comes the encounter with exteriority and the possibility of ethical intersubjectivity - a relationship with the Face of the Other that awakens religiosity as a longing for God-Infinite revealed in the face of the Other and in his suffering, awakens in the Same the sense of acting in order to respond to the clamour of the Other who suffers. Levinás calls this relationship religion - an encounter between the Same and the Other in which both preserve themselves in the relationship, without annihilating each other. In this sense, religion can only be thought of in the ethical encounter with the Other, for it is through him that God comes to the idea of the Self.

Bruegel the Elder (~1525 - 1569) and Antonin Artaud (1896-1948), two artists whose lives have been shaken by war - the war against Spain for Bruegel and the Second World War for Artaud. Two artists whose works are linked to madness and who question our relationship with it. Both were outside the aesthetic mainstream of their time, using the biblical message to morally condemn their contemporaries. Across the centuries that separate them, across the contextual differences, a dialogue is established between Bruegel and Artaud. Sometimes this dialogue appears in Artaud's texts, which claim this filiation and quote the painter's works, sometimes it appears in the comparison we can make between a 1946 drawing by Artaud, Le Théâtre de la Cruauté, and a fragment of Bruegel's Triomphe de la mort. Our work sets out to compare these two works.

Our study, entitled "Risk Management Practices and MSE Performance: the case of ready-to-wear clothing in Douala's central market", is based on a survey using an interview guide for owners of very small enterprises (VSEs). Its aim is to explain the performance of VSEs on the basis of risk management practices. We began by presenting the concepts and methodological framework of the survey, followed by an analysis of the results, managerial implications and recommendations that led to a risk management system for VSEs. The contribution of risk management practices in VSEs has been demonstrated in the context of their performance, but it is also necessary to associate the characteristics of the entrepreneur, including skills, experience and information, in order to justify their performance. Our sample consisted of five (05) MSEs operating in the ready-to-wear sector in the central market of the city of Douala. The results were revealing after collecting data from the managers of these MSEs.

Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio proposes a perception of reality and of what lies beyond it. The rational, the irrational and the transrational are fundamentally linked to this author's writing. His writing is a philosophy of existence, with all its certainties and uncertainties. Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio's writing is marked by reflection and perpetual questioning. One might even say that it is writing at the frontiers of human thought in its relationship to knowledge and truth. The questions that pile up in Leclézio's novels bear witness to a kind of repeated anxiety that runs through the stories and the characters.

This research aims to propose some suggestions of activities that mix different topics of Mathematics, as well as Mathematics with other fields of knowledge, reinforcing the historical importance of each content that composes them. Such proposals aim at a more complete professional performance of mathematics teachers and mathematics educators and, consequently, a more attractive and enriching teaching-learning for students.

The production of distributed real-time embedded systems (TR2E) is a time-consuming and costly development operation. What's more, real-time applications have to satisfy stringent constraints in order to function properly. The use of architecture description languages aims to reduce the cost of developing these applications. AADL (Architecture Analysis & Design Language}) belongs to this family of languages. It proposes the notion of "component", whose well-defined semantics can be used to describe several aspects of a TR2E system.This work exploits the functionalities offered by AADL to specify the exact requirements of a TR2E application in order to produce it automatically. Indeed, the production process we propose automatically generates the code to integrate the application components into the execution platform, automatically generates a large proportion of the middleware components tailored to the application, and automatically deploys the application and middleware components to obtain a system highly dedicated to the application.

This work brings together texts that address complex and dense aspects in the field of intellectual property in agriculture. Specifically, it presents studies and analyses regarding the Class Action filed by the Unions of soybean growers in Brazil against Monsanto do Brasil Ltda and Monsanto CO. The discussion is about the genetic manipulation of Soya promoted by Monsanto, which created the transgenic seed "Round-up Ready Soya", popularly known as "RR Soya", capable of generating seedlings resistant to herbicides formulated based on Glyphosate, providing significant production gain. In order to obtain patent protection for the seed breeding process, Monsanto has established a system of charges based on royalties, technology fees and indemnities for the use of the seeds. The Unions and the authors of this book believe that the issue should be analysed under the Cultivars Law, not the Patents Law. Thus, they would be allowed, regardless of the payment of any fee to the technology holder, to reserve seeds for replanting, to sell products as food and, as for small rural producers, to multiply seeds.

This paper addresses the construction of a marketing plan for a local travel and tourism company. The importance of this plan is the possibility of being able to plan on a very uncertain and changing context, with the purpose of giving a contribution to an industry greatly affected by the crisis that began in June 2018, deepened in 2019 and detonated in 2020 with the pandemic of COVID 19. The research is motivated by the interest and concern about the deep problems that small and medium-sized companies in our country are going through, particularly those in the tourism sector. They need to transform their organizational form to face the great changes of the sector, which give origin to part of the title of this work "from the traditional business model to a digital travel agency", a confrontation that transformed the service of the travel agencies to a digital one.that transformed the service of travel agencies since the 1990s. The need for transformation must have implications in the practice of the sector and must be contemplated in the policies linked to re-launching the tourism industry.

The literature emphasises the institutional characteristics of each nation as the main explanatory factor of economic growth. There is also evidence that taxation and the efficient application of public resources positively affect the quality of life of citizens. The objective of this paper is to verify the impact of taxes on short-term economic growth and the effects of their efficient application. This paper also set out to verify whether characteristics such as inflation, public spending, interest rates and others related to the degree of freedom of private initiative, property rights, corruption and bureaucracy influence the performance of economies. The sample consisted of 219 countries in the years 2000-2016. The results suggest that excessive tax burdens and red tape negatively impact economies and that their effects are reduced in the long run by efficient public resource management. They also indicate that the effects of ownership, economic freedom and interest rates are positive on growth and quality of life in the long run.

The PhD research entitled "The concept of Social Protection in Education in the light of the 1988 FC" sought to understand the concept of protection in view of the fact that it was inaugurated with social security and labour studies. The manifesto of the pioneers of 1937 provided for the implementation of full-time schools. The More Education Programme 2007/2010 emerges as a compensatory and full-time policy seeking to protect those less favoured who did not have the possibility, in schools, to have extra-class activities. The PME provided children and young people in situations of risk and vulnerability with an approximation to the educational models offered to children and young people from favoured families. According to the constitutional and legal provisions, we seek to understand the PME policy in order to verify the promotion of human development, its preparation for citizenship and its qualification for work. It is not enough just to insert children and young people in schools as the Brazilian magistrates understand, but also to verify what kind of school, of knowledge so that the constitutional dictates in the protection and emancipation of the subject are confirmed.

Having an optimal price for a good or service is fundamental for the interest of demanders. The problem that is evident in this research is that there is no stable price for this service, for which the objective is to establish the optimal price for the slaughtering service according to production costs. In this sense, the calculations of some economic performance indicators such as the Net Present Value (NPV) and the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) were used. To estimate the equilibrium or optimum price, the production cost was used, which helps to obtain the unit price. As a result, the unit price for slaughtering services is $ 9.90 and the equilibrium or optimum price is $ 13.70. However, this price can be manipulated at convenience with multiple pricing or other methods. Finally, this slaughtering service generates a positive effect on the local economy, since it favors the workers because of the salary they receive, improving their health, education and access to basic services, as well as the companies that supply the raw material (guinea pig) for this service.

In this part of the course, we will look at the crops used by man for food, as leafy vegetables, fruits, roots or bulbs. We will also look at some vegetables that have not yet been cultivated, but which are eaten as foraged produce. These vegetables deserve to be studied in order to bring them from their spontaneous or subspontaneous state to the state of domesticated cultivation. Market gardening is therefore a branch of agricultural production that includes the technical, economic and food-related activities involved in obtaining food vegetables. We will refer to the main groups of vegetables, classified according to the edible part of the plant: leaf vegetables, fruit vegetables, root vegetables, bulb vegetables and tuber vegetables. The general aspects relating to working the soil, production, cultivation techniques, fertilisation and pest control have already been covered in Part One of the course and we will not return to them, except in specific cases.

With the growth of organisations in the construction sector, several companies emerge to try to get a share of the market, as is the case with companies that work with plaster. With this, some differentials such as quality and speed of service are necessary to put the company ahead of its competitors. The professionals who work on the factory floor of this type of company have a long and tiring journey that on several occasions ends up being aggravated due to the pace of work and an inadequate layout of the production process. This type of case calls for an ergonomic study that can simplify the professional's work and cause a mutual benefit between the worker and the company. The description of the production process employed in the firm helps to determine the ergonomic failures of the company's environment. To achieve this description, it was necessary to map the organisation's layouts, observe the posture of the team during the working day and propose a new layout that eliminates possible unnecessary efforts.

The research work proposes a descriptive and conceptual vision of the intervention and influence of those examples of the good work of mediators in the context of the Colombian armed conflict. The Colombian peace process, 2012 - 2016, with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia - People's Army FARC - EP and Norway as guarantor country was taken as reference, the latter international actor takes relevance for its tradition as mediator in the field of armed conflicts. The purpose is to analyze the Norwegian Foreign Policy, with regard to the field of action of mediators, their contributions, and their limitations.

The study of the systems of manipulation of the social consciousness of human collectives and of behaviours influenced by ideological/cultural narratives is today rooted in what is known as the Social Imaginary. As members of a given social format, individuals are unilaterally shaped into a vision of themselves and their environment, functional to the power system of society; the ideological decoding of collective Images and the symmetrical structuring of a dogmatic, prejudiced and self-referential discourse result in the Collective Imaginary, a single and multiple theoretical entity, vertically drafted and institutionally sanctioned at all levels of social organisation. If the Imaginary was once part of the social superstructure, today it is conceptualised as a structural element, as a system of beliefs that defines a large part of the ideas and attitudes of the subjects. This book seeks to open a door to the study of the narratives that populate the collective consciousness, to the complex and changing world of collective Images and Imaginaries.

The purpose of this work is the controlled release of the Cannabis plant (Marijuana) in relation to its use and consumption for medicinal purposes in Nicaragua, taking into account the therapeutic benefits of this plant, which have been proven through scientific studies. Throughout these pages you will find the different uses of the Cannabis plant to combat physical and psychological ailments in the health of human beings.

The book is presented on this occasion by a group of authors entitled "Influencia del cambio climático en la salud de pobladores del Reparto 26 de Julio" (Influence of climate change on the health of the inhabitants of Reparto 26 de Julio). The aim of the book is to explain the influence of climate change on the health of the inhabitants of Reparto 26 de Julio in the city of Sancti Spíritus; it is based on the need to describe those diseases that will spread throughout the world as a result of climate change, such as: avian influenza, cholera, ebola, red tide, bubonic plague, babesiosis, borreliosis, tuberculosis, yellow fever, intestinal parasites, Rift Valley fever and sleeping sickness, others caused by atmospheric pollution, respiratory diseases such as pneumonia, bronchitis, asthma and viral diseases: yellow fever, hepatitis, dengue.

Today there is much insistence on the need to learn to learn, to learn to understand and to learn to undertake, but what is most important, difficult and a condition for all of the above, is to learn to unlearn. There is much talk of educational innovation, of the need to change, but most changes are limited to introducing new technologies, changing the furniture or incorporating the discourse of the need for new management or strategic planning. Real educational change requires breaking with comfortable practices, routines, rituals, habits, customs. It means, in a word, unlearning the culture entrenched in old educational practices, which prevents us from innovating, creating, inventing the new school and the education we need today.
