Day-to-day waste management remains a worldwide problematic issue, so we plan to find out about the environmental risks due to solid household waste dumps in the blocks of the Okapi district in the Commune of Mangobo, city of Kisangani, as our main objective pursued is to improve sanitation conditions in most of the blocks of the Okapi district in the Commune of Mangobo by establishing the environmental risks linked to household waste dumps.

This study analyzes the factors that explain home births, which are at the root of health progress in reducing infant mortality and improving maternal health.

The legal analysis of the monetary union under construction in West Africa is important. It involves a comparative analysis of monetary unions in Europe and Africa in particular, taking as a paradigm the legal regime of their central banks and Mundell's theory of optimal monetary zones, in order to gain a better insight into the ECOWAS monetary union. Always following a forward-looking approach, the aim is to highlight potential obstacles, particularly political and legal ones. Solutions were then proposed to overcome these difficulties.

The design, monitoring and impact assessment of development programmes generally require the use of socio-economic surveys. The quality and reliability of the data depend on a large number of factors that are not always obvious and may vary according to the context. In this respect, rural Africa has its own particular characteristics, and failure to take these into account can seriously compromise the results. This guide, based on extensive field experience in West Africa and Senegal in particular, provides practical advice on designing, conducting and using surveys to minimise the risks associated with the GIGO (Garbage In - Garbage Out) phenomenon.

This book presents the works of Daniel Lascani, published in the last 15 years, in the fields of psychology and human capacity building. In the 30 articles, shared here, are his main subjects, in Brazil and in Europe. For these reasons, there is enough association and chronology between the texts. Together, they form a set of consecrated themes, in a single work, and also a scientific investigation on how to calibrate our mind, in order to triumph in our reality. We coexist with our internal world (psyche), and external world (matter). When collapsed, they form only one reality, which is our life. In this context, knowledge and self-knowledge are the same thing. One always serves the other, just as: the body serves the mind; matter, energy; the finite, infinity. Knowing a little more about how our reality works may be only the first step towards playing the game of life with integrity. May this book calibrate our psyche a little.

This book is derived from the line of generation and application of knowledge Quality of Life, Violence and Disasters and from the specific project "Gender, diversity and culture of peace" carried out at the Faculty of Psychology of the Universidad Veracruzana in agreement with CREN Tuxpan. The problem that was worked on was gender violence experienced by women in relationships, since at least 1 in 3 women have suffered some of the different types of violence by third parties at some point in their lives, with the partner being the aggressor in most cases.The purpose of this book is to raise awareness and provide the reader with the tools to prevent, detect and get out of a violent relationship. It consists of four chapters that cover the problem, frame of reference, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion and recommendations.The experience of writing this book was extremely significant, as it is a very real topic that many women live with; however, each of the participants had unique perspectives and experiences, therefore different, and that is what strengthened this book.

The worrying thing about interculturality is that the efforts of thinkers from antiquity to the present day have not influenced the politicians who have decision-making power. Indeed, the times in which we live seem paradoxical. We live in an age of globalization, tolerance, communication and information, yet we continue to see a predisposition towards nationalism and patriotism. One of the theses of this research was to highlight the apology for intercultural communication advocated by a number of writers and thinkers from different disciplines. However, this apology must be seen in relation to the political forces that are increasingly seeking to establish power in different ways. The rise in power of communication as a desired idea or ideal seems to have as its inevitable corollary the massive appearance of various forms of extremism. Utopian enthusiasm for a unified world has given rise to withdrawal and rejection of the other.

Economic intelligence is a global approach to collecting, analysing and disseminating information on economic agents, i.e. producers and consumers, in the context of micro-economics; but also the analysis of macro-economic and sectoral data involving governments and other economic organisations as well as broad sectors of activity. It is more a question of the actions carried out by independent private bodies such as rating agencies and other credit insurance companies working to support businesses on both the domestic and international markets, such as Heuler Hermes, Atradius and the COFACE group, which are world leaders in this field.

In Kisangani, to understand the mechanism linked to the use of dietary lipids, a study was carried out in 2011, on the species Oreochromis niloticus.180 fish with an average weight of 3.4 g for the control and 3.14 for the test batch were tested in an experimental system in duplicate with food containing 30% crude protein where a diet was supplemented with 12% lipids for 30 days.After analyzing the results we noticed the following: It turned out that the fish doubled in weight during the experiment in the order below 4.21 ± 5.74 for food R12 and 5 .7 ± 3.27 for food R0.A non-significant difference (p

The present study aims to investigate the distribution of a species endemic to the Béni Mellal region, Euphorbia resinifera, in order to determine some of the factors behind its distribution, and to map it in order to determine its range. To achieve these objectives, we used the two geographic information system software packages ARC GIS and QGIS, the Digital Earth Model and topographical maps to transcribe the data collected in the field. The results of the field investigations show that the distribution range of resinous spurge is discontinuous between 650 and 1100 m altitude. It occupies sunny locations on steep slopes and skeletal soils. Along its range from southwest to northeast, resinous euphorbia follows a climatic gradient that becomes wetter and cooler. It is thus accompanied by Acacia gummifera, Rhus pentaphylla, Ziziphus lotus, Olea europaea var Oleastre, Asparagus stipularus towards the South-West and Tetraclinis articulata, increasingly towards the North-East.

Survival of cancer patients has improved as a result of the beneficial effect of chemotherapy and monoclonal antibodies directed against human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 such as trastuzumab. The treatments, however, are accompanied by known cardiotoxic effects, which in some may be mild and asymptomatic but in their most severe forms can lead to heart failure which seriously worsens the prognosis. Several cancer treatments have been associated with the potential risk of cardiotoxicity, including: anthracyclines, 5-fluorouracil, cyclophosphamide, tyrosine kinase inhibitors, vascular endothelial growth factor, immune checkpoint inhibitors, HER-2 antagonists, as well as radiotherapy. Most of the published data on cardiotoxicity, however, are focused on anthracyclines and trastuzumab. This paper will discuss the usefulness of beta-blockers alone and in combination therapy with converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE inhibitors) for the prevention of cardiotoxicity in cancer patients treated with anthracyclines and trastuzumab.

Moroccan schools still face problems and difficulties when it comes to learning the French language. Learners arrive in their second year of the baccalauréat unable to communicate in French, despite having benefited from ten years of learning the language. The situation in which these learners find themselves is due to a number of internal factors relating to the learner's mastery and motivation in the FLE classroom. This book focuses on the lack of oral interaction in oral activities among high-school learners. The action research on which this book is based questions the impact of reward on learner motivation and the facilitation of the learning process.

This book is the sad reality of the deplorable conditions under which Chadian students study in public universities and institutes. A country like Chad, with all its wealth, an oil-producing country whose universities train over 30,000 graduates a year, is sacrificed to selfish interests. They don't know what they've come to do, all they know is to go on the Internet, download the course and come back to copy the students without explanation. It's business as usual for teachers. They put their courses on handouts so that students can buy them. The teachers behave like rivals to the students because of the young female students, and the heads of the central schooling and examinations departments do nothing but make money off the hands of students who have finished with their licenses, especially at the University of Moundou.

Family life is sometimes marked by marital or family conflicts. These conflicts have their roots in the education of children, the management of the family budget, relations with in-laws, the distribution of household tasks, the exercise of a profession by a spouse and sexuality. This book analyzes these conflicts through the study of two Burkinabe novels: "Le miel amer" by Jean Baptiste SOME and "Devoir de cuissage" by Hadiza SANOUSSI. What are the causes, manifestations and consequences of conflicts in families? How do families manage these conflicts? Le miel amer (Bitter honey) and Devoir de cuissage (Duty to woo) answer all these questions and provide an insight into women's living conditions, women's revolts and violence in families through the main characters, such as Ada and Abou in the two novels analyzed.

The importance of roads in the daily lives of farmers is well established. It's the backbone of the village economy. No road, no local development. The remarkable deterioration of roads in three territories, Bagata, Kenge and Masi'-Manimba, is a real handicap for farmers in evacuating their agricultural produce and meeting their vital needs. This explains the relevance of BTC PRODADEKK's intervention, which inspired me to write this book. GMAR is also regarded as a vade mecum for RAs, an indispensable tool for their work in the field.

The northeastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo faces multiple problems of security, inter-ethnic conflicts, politics, economics due to weak state structures and dysfunctional governance. This publication is part of the accompaniment and research activities we have been carrying out since 2017 with the Bureau Diocésain de Développement "BDD" of the Anglican Church of Congo, Diocese of ARU supported by Conciliation Ressources International, a British NGO based in London. It is from this angle that we want to contribute to the establishment of a sustainable infrastructure for peace in the north-eastern region of DR Congo, to enable the Local Peace Committees (Comités Locaux de Paix - CLP) to participate and strengthen national unity and harmony between the populations.

Bamako attracts around 60% of the 206,677 visitors to Mali every year, thanks to the country's most modern urban infrastructure. Our research methods have enabled us to identify the various problems facing tourism in the Malian capital. To overcome these various problems inherent to tourism in the District of Bamako, we suggest the return of security on a national level. On a regional level, it would be advisable to make collaboration between tourism players (state institutions, private sector: hoteliers, tour operators, etc.) more dynamic, and to take advantage of the decentralization policy to increase the involvement of local governance in the organization of tourism activities in the District of Bamako. We therefore believe, inductively, that if these few tourism handicaps are overcome in Bamako within a secure national framework, Mali could occupy a prime position among tourist destinations in the UEMOA zone and in West Africa.

The aim of this study was to assess the impact of external support on market-gardening households in the commune of Kabondo. To collect the data, we used both primary and secondary sources. We used the questionnaire survey technique. Humanitarian organizations had supported certain market-gardening households in the commune of Kabondo, with a view to strengthening their market-gardening production capacity. This would undoubtedly not only improve consumption levels, but also give them more income. Lack of support was seen as an obstacle in the fight against poverty.

Regenerative medicine, which is still only a hope, consists in repairing a lesion or a diseased organ by replacing the damaged parts with new cellular tissue created for the occasion. It is based on cell therapy, which consists in cultivating cells before transplanting them, and on the use of stem cells, i.e. undifferentiated, like those that make up the very young embryo, or dedifferentiated. These cells are called pluripotent because they can then be transformed into different cell types. Applications include the reconstruction of neuronal tissue affected by neurodegenerative diseases, or of liver tissue to treat liver pathology. Regenerative medicine could reconstitute a damaged part of the spinal cord or regrow adult teeth. As far as my thesis is concerned, I'm highlighting the most widely used technique in regenerative medicine, ELISA.

A basic building material, cement is part of our everyday lives. Its industry can be directly linked to the state of the construction market in general, as well as to a country's economic situation. Global production has been rising steadily for several years, due to the introduction of larger production units. Despite this, the cement industry has been criticized for its heavy use of fossil fuels and its environmental impact. So, as part of our commitment to sustainable development, we have developed this project to further conserve fossil fuels.

The book opens with a tribute to the recently deceased San Diego anthropologist Marcel Hénaff, and a review of his two major works: Le prix de la vérité, and Le don des philosophes, both published by Editions du Seuil, in 2002 and 2012. For me, the purpose of this essay has been to "rethink reciprocity", in a spirit of sincerity, and based on this definition of philosophy: a series of attitudes of thought towards men and the world. My first question concerns the static nature of thought, from traditional societies and the philosophy of the Presocratics to the return of movement and flux in contemporary times, with Whitehead, Bergson and Deleuze. How can we regain the essential force of continuous movement, which turned the "fixed" forms between which it vibrated into poles of secondary importance? How is it, my second question, that the upheaval then affecting thought has left only minimal traces in the peaceful course that Philosophy appears to us to be? I'm trying to show that the spirit of domination and individual accumulation, pure antitheses of reciprocity, were its gravediggers.

A topical notion, sustainable development preserves the environment, the economy, social justice, culture and participatory democracy. Based on five fundamental principles: the precautionary principle, the principle of responsibility, the principle of solidarity, the principle of subsidiarity and the principle of transversality, sustainable development today pursues 17 objectives adopted by the members of the UN in 2015. In the DRC, when Communes decide to intercommunalize their public services of common interest, they will have to take into account the objectives, pillars, issues and principles of sustainable development, so that local legislation can comply with national and international legislation on the subject. This is why public services of common interest relating to the environment, the economy, social justice, culture and participative democracy can be colored by the objectives, pillars, challenges and principles of sustainable development. It is in this sense that sustainable development could have a certain impact on the intercommunalisation of public services in our country.

Between 1999 and 2013, surveillance of bacillary dysentery through bloody diarrhoea was marked by an average attack rate of 620 per 100,000 inhabitants. Biological confirmation concerned less than 1% of cases. A dozen outbreaks of bloody diarrhoea were confirmed as shigellosis. This work will make it possible to specifically improve surveillance of these outbreaks. The descriptive method of epidemiological and biological data was used in addition to a literature review. The reconstructed history dates back to the first epidemics of dysentery in the Mayombe region in the early 1920s. Spatial dynamics show that the east of the country has the highest attack rates. The time series of bloody diarrhoea in the country shows a decrease from 2005, with no seasonal pattern. Epidemics of shigellosis are becoming rare and of low amplitude. These results suggest that the causes and determinants of the high incidence of bloody diarrhoea should be investigated. The rarity of dysentery epidemics calls for a search for explanatory factors.

Artificial electromagnetic waves are the most common and rapidly growing source of exposure in the modern world, including exposure to several frequency groups: extremely low frequencies from power lines, hybrid car batteries, and high-voltage lines (>3 Hz-3 kHz); radio frequencies; microwave frequencies, including millimeter waves (3 kHz-300 GHz) from cell phones, towers, base stations, and wireless devices; and intermediate frequencies, so-called "dirty electricity" produced by power cables.

This study focuses on the financing of political parties in French-speaking Africa. The constitutional consecration of political parties engaged in the contest for the expression of suffrage means that they have a great need for resources to function. Generally speaking, political parties are financed in two ways. Public funding is the primary means of financing political parties. It is based on the need to promote the partisan phenomenon, and on the need to circumvent the difficulties encountered by political parties as a result of inflation in the cost of political life. Public authorities fund political parties according to certain criteria, allocating sums either for their day-to-day running or for election campaigns. Private funding is the other variant of political party financing. Political parties may have their own resources, notably membership fees, which are their main source of funding. This work has therefore proposed a mechanism whereby public funds would be granted to political parties on the basis of their representativeness.

Introduction Cardiovascular management of cancer patients represents a major challenge, since cancer and cardiovascular disease often coexist, and anticancer treatments can be the cause of cardiac or vascular toxicity. It is therefore vital to specifically organize cardiovascular follow-up for patients who are due to receive potentially cardio-toxic treatment. Improved management and the development of specific research require teams and structures bringing together cardiologists and oncologists, who have acquired interdisciplinary expertise. In this context, the creation of a cardio-oncology unit has emerged.Methods In this paper, we examine the managerial and academic aspects of a project to set up a cardio-oncology unit in the cardiology department of the Tunis Military Hospital.Results An inventory of the difficulties involved in caring for cancer patients was drawn up using an ISHIKAWA diagram. Among the obstacles identified, poor knowledge of anticancer treatments and their toxicities, as well as the absence of close collaboration between the different medical teams, were cited.
