This research work demonstrated the importance of changing roles in the classroom, motivates active, individual and flexible learning, once detected problems of knowledge in the subject of Social Studies in students of higher basic, being that the theoretical issues do not call the attention of the student to continue working with the behaviorist teaching method, Therefore, the need arose to implement new teaching methods that aim to capture the student's attention, develop their creativity, fostering relationships with peers, encourage their curiosity, intervention resources based on traditional methodology did not yield the expected results, and found in the inverted classroom the appropriate teaching-learning methodology, innovative and creative to achieve significant learning. A quantitative-descriptive, quasi-experimental design was tested, with two groups, experimental and control, to which a pre-test and post-test were applied and analyzed with statistical software. It is proved that the new methodology improves the teaching-learning processes.

The irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a very frequent cause of medical consultations in our environment, and national studies on its prevalence and associated factors are rare. Objective: To investigate the prevalence of IBS in adolescents in the city of Palmas, Tocantins, with the Rome III diagnostic criteria and its related factors. Methods: Cross-sectional study. Sample calculated for a power of 80% and alpha p¿ 0.05. Five hundred and forty-six adolescents aged 13-19 years completed a questionnaire containing Rome III criteria for paediatric IBS, in addition to demographic data, questions about haematozia, fever, clocking, weight loss and anorexia, triggering of pain with feeding, breastfeeding, separation from parents. The schools were randomly allocated according to their location in the 3 regions of Palmas city. Subjects fulfilling Rome III criteria without any of the alarm signs mentioned were considered IBS.

Henri Rapin (1873-1939) is a prime example of the artist-decorator of the early 20th century. Although little-known today, he was nevertheless a major player in the revival of the decorative arts and the creation of a French modern style. Painting, illustration, ceramics, glassware, tapestries and furniture are all areas in which Henri Rapin provided models for the renewal of forms. This book presents his artistic career through an analysis of his stylistic development and his active role in the construction and dissemination of a new decorative style. It provides an opportunity to better understand the mutation between the two major movements of Art Nouveau and Art Deco.

The advancement of information and communication technology in society has directly impacted education by developing distance education programs and changing the pedagogical methods of learning. This study was conducted with MBA undergraduate students with a distance learning program. The sample included 12 students and the instruments selected to obtain the results were an electronic survey with surveymonkey.com software to collect demographic data of the participants and a semi-structured interview with open-ended questions by Zoom. Qualitative methodology with a descriptive phenomenological design was used for the study; the description of the students' approaches and opinions were emphasized. The design used contributed to the knowledge of school realities; especially, to the experiences of the actors of the formative process: in our particular case, university students. The study made it possible to know how different factors or variables that are determinant in the quality of the program intervene.

Currently, research in the field of Education has been emphasizing the current changes related to the teaching work and the inclusive education movement. Among the issues being investigated is initial training, which occupies a central position in the professional development of teachers, based on the acquisition of knowledge and skills necessary for teaching. In this context, it is expected that undergraduate courses train teachers who can conduct the teaching process together with the heterogeneity of demands found in education networks.

African populations in general, and Cameroonians in particular, have always lived in communities. In this logic, it should be said that living in communities requires certain rules of conduct to ensure the harmonious development of their members. Community action is therefore central to the problem of collectivizing individual problems, with the aim of empowering communities. It helps mobilize the resources of community members to improve their living conditions. Consequently, as a new specialty in Cameroonian universities, and specifically at the University of Yaoundé 1, the field of community intervention and action practices needs a theoretical and conceptual foundation to guide students who are already involved and eager to engage in this field of research. It was not by chance that the author chose the title "Governance in microfinance" in the context of an environment in the town of Goma, the capital of North Kivu Province in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where the enthusiasm for micro-credit had unfortunately not been encouraged by severe avant-garde measures against the enemies of the sector's development. Apart from the non-repayment of loans, the crisis in some cooperatives and microfinance institutions (MFIs) was exacerbated by a failure to comply with the rules of good management. Loans were distributed without sufficient regard for the soundness of the applications submitted. The sentimental preferences of managers sometimes took precedence over the policies and procedures in force. There is a substantial correlation between performance and the application of good governance standards.

It is impossible to deny the potential of computers to facilitate simple day-to-day procedures. What we see is the constant modernization of society, with increasingly advanced technologies. In view of this, it is important that teachers reflect, rethink their practice and build new forms of action that allow them not only to deal with this new reality, but also to build it. This book aims to develop a critical-reflective study about the use of Learning Objects in Trigonometry, emphasizing the teacher training for the use of these new technologies in teaching. The theoretical foundation of this research is based on the studies developed by some educators and researchers who have given special attention to computer-assisted teaching, and on the work done with 60 undergraduates of the seventh semester of the course of Full Degree in Mathematics of the State University Vale do Acaraú - UVA, who knew the concept, the applicability and the use of Learning Objects allowing them, still in their academic training, to have contact with a different way of teaching, leaving the sameness of classical classes and emerging to more technological classes.
