This book deals with the factors leading to the failure of projects identified in a participatory way in Guinea, particularly in its forest region. It is organized into three main points. Firstly, the authors explain the methodological approach used. Next, the results he obtained are presented and discussed, using theories of education and learning. Finally, a synopsis of standard failure factors and educational theories relating to development, together with recommendations, is provided to facilitate understanding of the subject by stakeholders and readers alike.

In times of population and industrial growth, waste disposed of without treatment and inappropriately by households and businesses is one of the main causes of soil and water contamination. Such waste accumulated in open places remains for long periods of time, which may or may not fully degrade, contaminating the environment and attracting various animals, besides promoting the proliferation of fungi and bacteria. A more noble destination consists in the reuse of such residues, such as for the production of fertiliser and energy, or even the use as raw material for a new product. This material shows the transformation of industrial and construction waste to obtain a new composite with insulating properties, with greater economic value and less environmental impact.

By regularly intervening in a political system, alternation generates a periodic recomposition of the balance of power between majority and opposition parties. Before power can be exercised, it must be conquered, and to achieve this, a number of strategies, both orthodox and unorthodox, must be refined. This depends on whether you're in power or in opposition. Being in the majority or in opposition is neither a dictate of one camp over the other, nor a drawing of lots. This essay is an inverted analysis of a generally accepted proposition in political science, namely the conclusions of Maurice Duverger's laws. Moreover, rivalries and interference in the internal affairs of the Congolese state have increased as the scramble for Congolese resources dictates the geopolitical reclassification of the DRC. These geostrategic considerations are bound to distort the alternation process. Thus, faced with the institutional stakes, the process of alternating power, while remaining nothing more than "a democratic delight and test", is showing signs of running out of steam and giving cause for concern.

What roles did school, the family and other normative bodies play in the socialisation of the respondents during their minority years? Compared with their parents' generation, how have the respondents' perceptions of gender relations in Benin changed, and how have they adapted their socialisation methods? These are the questions that this research seeks to answer using a hypothetico-inductive approach. The respondents were eighteen Beninese primary school inspectors aged between 38 and 53. In terms of time, there were two distinct periods: from mid-1960 to the end of 1980, very few girls attended school, and they were assigned a more reproductive role; from 1990 to 2016, girls did indeed attend school on a massive scale, thanks to the mobilisation of international and national players and the public policies put in place. Nevertheless, it is clear that the mentality of the vast majority of Beninese people has not changed with regard to the reproductive role of women. As a result, young girls continue to be subjected to sexual regulation and, as a corollary, to many deprivations of rights.

Theater, as an art form and a dramatic play, is a pedagogical method that FLE teachers could use to overcome the obstacles they face in revealing students' oral communication deficiencies. In addition, this teaching method would be chosen as a pedagogical alternative and also supposed to be conceived as a key vector in the teaching of oral FLE. This didactic medium is chosen as a pedagogical alternative, thus focusing our research theme, and it is supposed to be conceived as a key vector in the oral teaching of FLE. Thus, this investigative task will enable us to investigate the reality of theatrical practice and its possible impact on the learning of FLE in its oratory (oral) aspect in Algeria. This will be done primarily on the basis of data collected using a methodological approach based on questionnaires. The questionnaires will be given to teachers and pupils in three lycées in the Wilaya of Bouira, one of the wilayas in north-central Algeria.

A great deal of research into school performance sees schools both as a primary selection body and as a unifying mechanism, insofar as schools unify by socialising and divide by selecting. If school divides, then it is legitimate to ask about the determinants and the most important consequences of the selective mechanisms of success and failure. The scientific community remains relatively unanimous on what performance is as a school criterion, but this unanimity is far from being achieved when it comes to its determinants. Although social background is an essential factor in the quest to elucidate school performance, this book is intended as a warning against any conception of the unbridled determinism of social class theory, which relegates all personal and school variables to second place in the explanation of results achieved at school.

This paper aims to analyze the state action throughout history in the face of the emergence and consolidation of criminal organizations - in which public agents are present - in the Brazilian territory. As the main example of the rise of these criminal groups in this research is the faction First Command of the Capital, which already has signed transnational agreements. Through the historical, bibliographical, inductive and deductive methods, the study was conducted based on books, scientific articles, documents, legislation, theses, dissertations and monographs. The research identified the gap left by the State inside prisons and in communities where they house people of low social class, allowing criminal organizations to gain strength in these places. It also found the need for the application of interdisciplinary public policies directed, specifically, to combat corruption within the state machine and the core of criminal organizations.

Living conditions are unevenly distributed between urban centers and rural areas, ranging from abundance to extreme scarcity. On the one hand, cities enjoy public investment, basic social services, comfortable housing, leisure facilities, better working conditions, appropriate health care, renowned schools, a high standard of living, etc., while on the other, the countryside is naturally poor, agricultural, geographically deprived of investment opportunities and neglected because of its remoteness from decision-makers. Nowadays, rural dwellers are leaving the countryside, preferring to go deep into the bush to live in solitary wilderness settlements closer to their fields. As a result, villages are moving from their camps to the forest plains, creating a "leapfrog" migration with the collateral effects of fragile social cohesion, deforestation and precarious living conditions.

According to an abundance of literature and public opinion, the Cameroonian press has a bad reputation. Its pseudo-journalists, who are constantly criticised for their lack of professionalism, are nonetheless rewarded every year through platforms that promote journalistic excellence. These are the platforms run by the new associations grouped around the notion of journalistic mediation, which are then transposed as operating mechanisms for the professionalisation of Cameroonian journalists. For nearly a decade now, these increasingly numerous mediations in Cameroon have been creating a certain participatory emulation, but to varying degrees, calling into question their legitimacy. Which representation(s) do they stigmatise? Who are the mediators, who legitimise the productions in such a disenchanted media context? What is at stake for Cameroonian journalists? Two mediating associations are the subject of this reflection, namely Médiation Club, of the Médiations Press Trophies, and Tribunal Article 53, of the Bibi Ngota Prize.

In car crashes the principles of kinematics depend, among other factors, on the type of crash. From the trauma kinematics, it is known that trauma in automobile collisions does not occur in isolation in the victims. This study had as its main objective, to know through the evidence available in the Brazilian literature in the period from 2009 to 2018, the relationship of trauma kinematics in car crashes with possible injuries in pre-hospital care and as specific objectives, to know the trauma kinematics in car crashes, describe the possible injuries in car crashes and the importance of kinematics to reduce morbidity and mortality. Verificou-se que conhecer a cinemática do trauma é um fator determinante para os profissionais do atendimento pré-hospitalar na busca de possíveis lesões que podem passar desperce unobserved ou que venham a merecer uma prioridade na abordagem inicial.

The woman lives on a tightrope: between the desire to know about the sexuality of others and confronting her own; between being instigated with sex and judging it in certain circumstances; between still being the one who takes care of the children, of the house, who needs, many times, the male presence for personal realization; and being the one who works outside the limits of the home, aims at a happiness which is also professional and is the active subject of her life. In this swing, the prostitute emerges sharpening the social imaginary, especially the one created by the biopower, which relegated to this woman a place of moral decay, of degradation, creating polarized visions of her image: sometimes the victim, sometimes the fatal woman. When reading the narratives produced by sex professionals, however, one realizes that, beyond the dichotomy, there is a plurality of nuances of their occupation which tensions the interdict of sexuality. The woman, then, empowers herself by writing her memories. She becomes involved in her history, takes the needle and thread and sews her destiny. She becomes a spinner of herself.

Thus, these devices of absolute anchorage, provided they are well planned and within the correct technique of implementation, are a great help to professionals who work with Orthodontics and who seek quality and excellence in their treatments.

This research deals with a content analysis and involves the Joinville public radio. Facing the importance of journalistic information and the effectiveness of the instantaneity of the radio, the analysis was done in three radio stations in the city (107.5 FM, Udesc FM and Joinville Cultural FM), aiming to understand how the radio journalism works inside them and if there is internal journalistic production in the respective stations, just like there is inside a printed newspaper editorial office and the like. In order to understand, it was necessary to listen to the journalistic programs, during one week, from all the stations; visit them to know who is involved and what their production structure is; and talk to the coordinators of each one to know how the programs are made. Based on the concept of radio journalism, it is concluded, from the results, that there is almost no journalistic production inside the public radio in Joinville.

It should also be noted that national schools with a regional vocation, by training the personnel of the armed forces of the beneficiary countries, participate in the integration process underway in this regional community. There is no longer any doubt that successful regional integration brings with it regional stability and therefore reduces the risk of conflict. The objective of economic integration pursued by ECOWAS is illustrative proof of this. But it should be noted that security is a prerequisite for economic integration. Since regional integration concerns not only the States but also the populations, the coordinator of the ECOWAS community development programme affirms that "it is a question of winning the support and effective participation of the populations in the integration process". Better still, Joseph Ki-Zerbo maintains that "the objective of development is to give people the minimum necessary so that they do not starve and fall into poverty, thus becoming useless to themselves and to the community". Only development understood in this way can extricate the region from its distant conflicts.

The sexuality of patients with schizophrenia (SCZ) is characterized by a high prevalence of sexual dysfunction (SD). These have negative repercussions on the course of the disease, contribute to the alteration of patients' quality of life (QoL) and to the maintenance of thoughts of self-stigmatization and consequent difficulties in integrating into social life. The aims of this study were to assess DS, QoL and internalized stigma in a population of patients with SCZ, to identify the clinical and therapeutic factors associated with DS and to determine their relationship with QoL and internalized stigma. The prevalence of DS was 67.9%. Factors correlated with DS were high PANSS "negative" scores (p=0.006), PANSS "total" scores (p=0.04) as well as APC treatment (p=0.027), impaired HRQoL (p=0.045), and a high level of internalized stigma (p=0.011). Our study underlines the importance of the impact of DS on disease prognosis through internalized stigma and impaired HRQoL.

The Pendjari (known as Arly in Burkina Faso) and W wildlife parks are located in West Africa, to the north of Benin and partially occupy the southern parts of Burkina Faso and Niger. They are the only protected areas in West Africa where herds of elephants can still be found, despite harmful human activities, and their management is still under the jurisdiction of three (03) sovereign states, namely Benin, Burkina Faso and Niger. The direct consequence of this situation is the existence of several national legal systems for the management and protection of elephants. This is hardly conducive to the effective implementation of public policies, particularly the criminal law approach to wildlife and forestry offences. At the same time, the risk of the Sahel desert advancing and global warming is looming. The main objective of this study is to seek solutions for the uniform management of this vital area, based on the criminal law texts, with a view to protecting this biodiversity.

This research investigated organizations that provide solidarity credit services and use social currencies, seeking their contributions to the solidarity economy as a proposal for participatory local development, emphasizing the potential and limitations for the construction of alternatives for social reproduction in the face of capitalism and its contradictions. In this work, the research process and the procedures for systematizing the analysis were guided by the epistemology of dialectical criticism. From this approach, an effort was made to go beyond the phenomenal appearances of the experiences and cases analyzed, seeking the correspondence of their structure within the historical and social totality in its dialectical movement. The empirical approach to the object of investigation occurred through the analysis of three experiences of solidarity finance operating in Mato Grosso do Sul: the Community Bank Pire (Dourados); the Community Bank Ita (Itamarati Settlement/ Ponta Porã); and the experience of social currency implemented with the activities of the Evangelical Development Institute (Campo Grande).

Digital inclusion is still a challenge for schools and teachers. The course of the process of digital inclusion in rural education in the municipality of Rio Maria-Pará is the north of our research. Ecological problems coupled with climate change pose unprecedented challenges, requiring cooperation and adaptation to environmental issues. This is driving states into competition, as "Blue Gold" becomes a resource of extreme covetousness, not only between individuals, but also between states. The twenty-first century has seen the emergence of new types of conflict, known as "green conflicts", or horizontal and vertical conflicts of use, generated by the increasing scarcity of natural resources. Water is the most obvious example. To this end, cooperation between riparian states is essential to avoid water conflicts. This book shows that water is a real issue of cooperation, capable of promoting peace, socio-economic development for the well-being of riparian populations, sustainable management of ecosystems and species that depend on this resource, poverty reduction and the prevention of conflicts between riparian states. Nevertheless, if mismanaged or misused, water can become a catalyst for tensions.

Onychomycoses are frequent, contagious, benign and chronic fungal infections of the nails. Dermatophytes are considered the most common pathogens. Onychomycoses are often observed at an advanced age and stage, making treatment long and difficult. In this context, the main aim of the study was to produce an FDA-approved biopolymer, chitosan, from the Rhizopus oryzae strain. Then, to test its antifungal activity on the species responsible for onychomycosis in Constantine. 298 samples of infected nails were taken at the CHUC and analyzed using conventional and molecular diagnostic methods (RT-PCR). Results showed that T.rubrum was the predominant species. However, a variant of this species was identified for the first time in Algeria, namely T.rubrum var. raubitschekii. In addition, the demonstration of antifungal activity on the species most incriminated in onychomycosis revealed a significant effect, with MICs of 2.5, 1.25 and 0.62 mg/ml respectively on T. rubrum, T.rubrum var. raubitschekii and T.interdigitale.

Introduction:The aim of our study was to investigate the usefulness of logistic regression in determining risk factors associated with antibiotic resistance in pediatric urinary tract infections (UTIs).Methods:This was a cross-sectional etiological study on a series of children admitted for UTIs between January and September 2020.Statistical analysis was bi then multivariate using binary logistic regression.Results: A total of 100 episodes of bacteriologically documented UTI were included; in univariate analysis, antibiotic prescription in the preceding 3 months was associated with antibiotic resistance; in the final model of the multivariate analysis, only prior antibiotic therapy in the preceding 3 months was retained as an independent factor in the occurrence of UTI with an extended-spectrum beta-lactamase-producing strain.Conclusion: Our results underline the need for a therapeutic strategy adapted to our bacterial ecology, and for targeted action to remedy the factors contributing to antibiotic resistance.

The aim of this work is to carry out a study of fractured reservoirs in an extensive context. The Atlantic margin of Morocco has been chosen for this study. The work is being carried out in the Géoressources laboratories of the ENSG in Nancy, in cooperation with the Office National des Hydrocarbures et de Mines (ONHYM), under an agreement between the Office and the Université de Lorraine. The Precambrian basement of the Ifni Atlantic margin (offshore domain) and the Sidi Ifni buttonhole (onshore domain) formed our study area.

This book is the result of the research related to the Master's thesis in Legal Sciences, which had as its main objective to analyse the effectiveness of the custody hearing in the fight against crime in the State of Sergipe during the period from 2015 to 2017, contextualising its introduction in the Brazilian legal system by international pacts and treaties to which Brazil is a signatory and the new situation formed in the judicial system regarding crimes committed in flagrante delicto.
