To combat desertification, protect the Moroccan forest and respect local traditions, the author has been running an ambitious agro-industrial project called the (H)ALFA Project for the past ten years. The aim of the project is to produce and market fuel briquettes made from the Moroccan biomass found in the alfa beds of the arid Atlas steppes. This book is a compilation of international conferences and scientific publications that have been produced by the author to motivate local entrepreneurship and make this project a socio-economic success in one of the most beautiful regions of North Africa.

Nuclear medicine is a medical speciality based on the administration of radiopharmaceuticals to patients. Radiopharmaceuticals are composed of a cold molecule, specific to an organ or function, and a radionuclide. The isotope most commonly used in imaging is 99mTc, thanks to its physical properties (pure gamma emission, physical half-life of six hours and energy of 140 keV), its chemical properties (coupling with numerous cold molecules) and its availability. It is produced by a 99Mo/99mTc generator, which covers the weekly activity of almost all nuclear medicine departments. It is obtained by quick and easy elution. The number of elutions per day (one or two) depends on the needs of the department. The time of the second elution is crucial. The aim of this work is to use a quick and easy method to monitor the activity of the eluate in real time. We implemented a graphical interface using Matlab software. This interface enables the activities of 99Mo and 99mTc to be calculated at any desired time. This calculation is accessible and fast.

After starting the activities of the Pre-Sportive Program in 2004 at the Centro Interdisciplinar de Equoterapia (Cieq-Belém), the technical team has developed a vast experience in the work of Equine therapy applied to the areas of Education and Equitation, especially in the use of the horse as an instrument of social insertion and preparing athletes for the Para-Equestrian Sport Practice program. For this project, the Centro Interdisciplinar de Equoterapia (Cieq-Belém) counted on the involvement of its entire team of professionals in the areas of Health, Education and Equitation, developing a method based on the study of Basic Equitation Techniques, the sequence of the Phases of Therapeutic Progression, Equestrian Ethology, the concepts of Gentle Grooming and the use of Equotherapy as a pedagogical resource in the arena. The text addresses all the relevant issues relating to women's rights. It portrays two fundamentally contradictory women's movements: the women's movement led by aggrieved women fighting for certain preliminary rights, such as the right to food, housing and health; and the feminist movement made up of wealthy, influential and elegant women of great means who, after satisfying their social, economic, cultural, civil and political rights, use their means to defend the right to gender equality. The National Republican Guard (GNR) is a security force of a military nature, composed of soldiers organized into a special body of troops and endowed with administrative autonomy, with jurisdiction throughout the national territory and the territorial sea. The GNR depends on the Ministry of Defense and Internal Administration. In normal situations, the GNR executes typical police missions, as well as military missions within the scope of national defense, in cooperation with the Armed Forces. In situations of state of emergency or siege, the GNR is the most appropriate force to act in problematic situations and in the transition between the Police and the Armed Forces. In case of war, due to its military nature, the GNR can, alone or as a complement, perform a very wide range of missions of the Armed Forces, as is the case of those provided in a theater of war in the context of the commitments made by Portugal to international organizations.

These establishments have the challenge of offering personalized treatment and make customers more and more loyal. To achieve this, it is imperative to use effective data collection techniques, as well as to know the concept of complaint, its importance, the need to accept and attend to it, and to associate the complaint with an effective and transparent database system, thus improving management procedures.

The main component of social participation on the southern coast of Guatemala are the social actors, men and women of the sea, who participate in the activities of extraction, processing and commercialization of fishery products and constitute small economic units called household units. This research determined the impact of women's work in artisanal fishing activities as a driver of development processes and community growth. To this end, a qualitative description was made of the household units of artisanal fishing in relation to the productive roles of extraction, processing and commercialization of fish, the determination of environmental perceptions, community development and the determination of the value of use between men and women of environmental services. This research was developed using participatory methodologies to work from the local level.

Regional integration has become a topical concept, and the aim of this thesis is to determine and evaluate the effect of Chad's membership of CEMAC on its economic development.development. Specifically, the aim is to establish whether this sub-regional integration is a source of trade creation or trade detour for Chad, and to assess the impact of macroeconomic, productive, infrastructural and free circulation integration on Chad's economic development. In order to provide some answers to our study's problem, we collected data and information using analytical and descriptive methods that enabled us to see how far CEMAC lags behind other African regional groupings, and how little CEMAC contributes to Chad's economic development. Our findings show that, in the medium and long term, CEMAC needs to focus on broader integration, to enable countries like Chad to benefit from larger markets and economies of scale.

Heterocycles play a crucial role in many fields, including the corrosion inhibitor and pharmaceutical industries. Important aromatic heterocycles include imidazo[1,2-b]thiazoles and imidazo[1,2-a]pyridines, which are present in many biologically active compounds. Given this importance, the present work is dedicated to the synthesis strategy and development of new heterocyclic compounds with imidazo[1,2-b]thiazole and imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine moieties.

The Port of Douala is considered the backbone of Cameroon's economy. Established in 1881, the port has 10 compartments: container terminal, timber terminal, fruit terminal, general cargo terminal, industrial port, oil terminal, long-stay storage, ship repair center, ship handling and fishing terminal. In view of its creation date, we can clearly see that the construction project for this facility was not subject to an environmental and social impact study. To this end, to ensure that environmental and social aspects are taken into account in operating companies, the government issued Decree N°2013/0172/PM of February 14, 2013, setting out the terms and conditions for carrying out environmental and social audits for structures in operation. It is with this in mind that this brief has set itself the objective of contributing to the environmental and social audit of one of these terminals, which is the fishing terminal, in order to devise sustainable strategies to guarantee and ensure the integration of environmental aspects into its management.

As one of the most important teaching aids, the textbook plays a key role in language teaching and learning processes. In the present work, we have carried out an in-depth study of the Français (1) textbook, the French textbook designed to teach French to middle-school students in Iran, in order to examine how to adapt and contextualize the FLE textbook for Iranian teenagers. To this end, we surveyed Iranian teachers and students in order to understand their needs and objectives in learning French. In addition, we examined the Adosphère manual (1), developed for teenagers in France, and the Bien dit ! (1), aimed at teenagers in the USA, with the aim of verifying how and to what extent the designers of these manuals have attempted to take advantage of contemporary approaches to the didactics of languages and cultures, and to what extent these manuals are adapted to the context of teaching and learning French, as well as to the needs, objectives and characteristics of the teenage public in each country.

Currently the fitness world is growing every year and with it the bodybuilding is increasingly gaining public admiration and a large number of supporters of the sport increases constantly. This book demonstrates how was executed the preparation of a young athlete of 27 years that decided to start in bodybuilding in a state championship. With a duration of 7 months and 18 days, various interventions were used to enhance the athlete's results. In the preparation of a bodybuilding athlete, it's necessary the use of several training strategies together with the appropriate nutrition for each phase. The phases are divided in two: Bulking and Cutting and each one possesses distinct characteristics. We will still approach the interventions with regard to the strength training seeking increase of the force and of the muscular hypertrophy and to the aerobic training, that besides the cardiovascular health it has as objective to assist in the reduction of the athlete's corporal fat, that were used in its preparation respected the athlete's biological individuality and observed its necessities, weak points and strong points.

Plunger placement in the treatment of otosclerosis can be associated with functional failures related to the plunger. CT plays a vital role in exploring the piston and detecting the causes of failure. We report the cases of 26 boulders operated on for otosclerosis with insertion of a piston, and who were explored by postoperative CT scan in the face of a recurrence of symptomatology or the appearance of a complication (clinical or audiometric). The average age of our patients was 45. CT scans were indicated in 11 cases of vertigo, audiometric abnormalities such as cophosis (4 cases), labyrinthisation (9 cases), persistence or reopening of the Rinne (6 cases). The piston was in place in 12 cases, depressed in 3 cases, displaced with a ring attached to the BDE in 5 cases, short in 2 cases and completely dislocated in 4 cases. At the end of this study, it appears that CT is the examination of choice for detecting postoperative complications of otosclerosis linked to the piston.

The child seeks to escape his or her unhappiness at all costs, and tries to short-circuit this anxiety-provoking and embarrassing situation by taking his or her own life. Based on a study of four cases in school counselling offices, this master's thesis proposes the art therapy approach and writing workshops as a means of releasing impulses so as not to allow anguish to reach its climax. The framework was designed in line with the vision of Arno Stern, initiator of the formulation and the closlieu. The approach used is the clinical method, based on the implementation of transference/counter-transference mechanisms resulting from the triangulation of the therapist-subject relationship through the medium of art.

The introduction of a common market system requires economic and political concessions, with the result that certain rules, tax laws and customs duty restrictions are abandoned in favor of the union. This book analyzes the relevance of the accounting changes that the OHADA accounting system is likely to bring to the management of economic units, in this case companies in the countries that have joined this economic system. The OHADA chart of accounts is the instrument used to record financial flows in production units within the OHADA area, thus ensuring compliance with OHADA law. In the literature, many articles have reported on the results of different ossicular reconstruction techniques. These results depend not only on the quality of the prostheses and the technique used, but also on environmental factors. In this work, we describe the results of a study of 67 ossiculoplasties performed in the ENT department of the 20 August 1953 University Hospital in Casablanca, which enabled us to determine the influence of each risk factor and the usefulness of calculating the MER INDEX in predicting the success of an ossiculoplasty, whatever the material used.

Burnout is a psychosocial syndrome that occurs in response to stressful situations during the development of a work activity and affects 30-50% of healthcare personnel. For this reason, two years after the start of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, this study is proposed.The aim is to describe the prevalence of burnout syndrome in Internal Medicine specialists and resident interns at a 2nd Level Hospital in the Region of Murcia 2 years after the start of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, using the online Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) questionnaire.A descriptive, cross-sectional study was carried out through a survey that included sociodemographic and occupational variables and the MBI questionnaire, which was disseminated online and anonymously in April 2022.Thirty-one people participated (83.8% of the service), of whom 64.5% were women. The age was 46 years or older in 41.9% of participants, between 25 and 30 (35%) and the rest between 30 and 45 years. A total of 38.7% were residents.

The mainstream media and communication technologies have popularized the environmental theme and massified the term sustainable development in the most different types of social spaces. However, the environmental issue seems to be far from being consequently questioned; it is usually presented as a spectacle, with sensationalist and catastrophist abhorrences, fragmented in its relations and lacking in the social aspect. However, the growth in the number of audiovisual messages that address specific environmental issues, as well as the discursive mobilization promoted with the dissemination of socio-environmental problems in general, may be an indication of the possibility of a new man/nature relationship, where the environmental issue is addressed in its complexity. It is a systematic review of the literature on the theme in a more global analysis, establishing a relation with the author's media research experience in his doctoral thesis in Sociology of Communication.

Burundi's socio-political space remains fertile ground for divergent identities, given its historical past: the monarchic period was free of political and ethnic conflict, and there was social homogeneity and cohesion, a pure contradiction compared with the years 1965, 1972, 1988 and 1993, which were characterised by social divisions. One wonders how Burundian society, which is homogeneous in terms of culture and language, has developed an identity categorisation, and how the cohabitation of Burundians has not frozen irritating memories and frustrations that could lead to political violence. This project focuses on the political elite, identity mobilisation (ethnicity) and violence in Burundi, where political mobilisation is based on ethnic identity, which emerges with political demands to the point of undermining social structures. The strategy of the political actors appears in the exacerbation of ethnic conflicts and in the dichotomisation of social relations. The dominant strategy of the actors is to exhume painful memories capable of irritating the masses.

Fetal alcohol syndrome, a disease very little known in Sub-Saharan Africa. A real threat to the survival of children. Malformations, abortions, weak children, premature births, low birth weight newborns, stillbirths are often encountered in our maternities. Did we take care to look for the causes? The alcoholism of the pregnant woman is certainly not the only cause, but it contributes to swell the ranks of these pathologies.

In this book, we show how SOFEPADI's communication plays a part in the social integration of women victims of sexual violence in the town and territory of Beni. We used a survey of victims of sexual violence. The case study was also useful. This led to the issuing of a "Diagnosis" and a "Therapeutic" or solution. This method was accompanied by techniques such as documentation, observation, investigation, questionnaires and interviews. Violence against women in both the public and private spheres is becoming increasingly common. Women are banned from their families, their children, their husbands and even their communities. We therefore conclude that SOFEPADI makes less use of non-verbal communication in caring for victims of sexual violence in the Beni region, particularly in Oicha, where the care circuit is not reassuring.

The aim of this experiment was to study the effects of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers on the growth and yield of rainfed maize in Upper Casamance (Kolda, Senegal). The experimental set-up is a randomized complete block design with 4 replications. The fertilization factor was studied in 19 treatments and a blank control. Parameters studied included plant height, ear diameter and length. The parameters measured showed that nitrogen is a limiting element in maize. Plant growth and ear characteristics are better with 150kg/ha of N. For phosphorus, 20kg/ha is sufficient to ensure its contribution to good ear development. The contribution of potassium to better corn growth and development is obtained with the 30kg/ha dose. These results, to be completed with grain yield, will be very useful when updating fertilizer formulas for maize.

The political and electoral context of 2015 in Burundi, characterised by violent protests and demonstrations, led to a massive influx of Burundian refugees into neighbouring countries. In the DRC, the LUSENDA site is located in the Fizi territory in South Kivu. According to the National Commission for Refugees (CNR), this site is home to some 24,687 people, including 8,700 households and 5,657 in host families, out of a host community of 16,835 inhabitants. The presence of Burundian refugees weighs heavily on the social life of local communities. This study will give SVH and EIRENE clear ideas for developing a coherent strategy for violence prevention and non-violent conflict management as part of strengthening the resilience of host communities.

This work is a critical study of Mohammed Alioum Fantouré's Cerle des Tropiques. It focuses on the major themes of this masterpiece of French-speaking Black African literature, in particular the exercise of power in Black Africa. The first part of this study outlines the similarities between the fictional dictatorship and that actually experienced in the Republic of Guinea. It also highlights the main characteristics of Fantour's writing, demonstrating that Le Cercle des Tropiques is a novel with a political scope that gives an overall idea of the situation of a state on the eve of independence. The other two parts of the study analyze the salient features of the dictator in power and his single party. They focus in particular on the main allies of his policies: colonization, magico-religious practices and clan hierarchy.
