The status of the co-producer of an audiovisual or cinematographic work under French law is not clearly defined. This gives rise to two sub-questions, concerning the definition of the notion of co-producer and the regime applicable to it. The notion of delegated producer is sometimes confused with that of co-producer, as the two notions have common characteristics. But beyond these common features, there are also points of divergence. This concept must also be defined in relation to the other co-production partners. In view of this perspective, the concern arises to initiate a study in this field, so the aim of this cross-sectional, descriptive, quantitative, correlational study is to determine the correlational association that may occur between stress, self-esteem, motivation, study habits and academic performance of university students in the first and third year of the degree course in Dentistry at faculties recognised by the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC) in 2010.

By using algorithms, digital platforms have been able to develop new business models that have enabled them to break into most sectors of the economy: transport (Uber, BlaBlaCar), short-term property rental (AirBnB, Séjourning), online sales (Amazon, Ebay), etc. However, these platforms do not always behave fairly (abuse of a dominant position and unfair competition between them, asymmetric information in their relationship with their users, etc.). It was as a result of this observation that the French legislator, in order to protect the citizens who use the said platforms, imposed a principle of fairness on digital platforms through Act no. 2016-1321 of 7 October 2016 for a Digital Republic. What is this principle called? Why is it important? What are the procedures and difficulties involved in implementing it? This book attempts to provide answers to these and other questions. The book also highlights the various methods of regulation used - and yet to be used - by the public authorities to "discipline¿ digital platforms.

Sixty years ago, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights proclaimed that a wide range of human rights applied to all human beings, without exception. Despite the fact that these rights are enshrined in a binding text1 , they are very often violated, because they are the first to be affected by the perverse effects of globalization and increased trade liberalization. The lack of an effective legal mechanism to protect these rights led civil society in the 1960s to develop a new concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR).

As the science of rational thought, logic has set itself the task of identifying the major theoretical principles that enable us to distinguish between correct and fallacious reasoning. Over the course of its history, it has forged increasingly precise and rigorous analytical tools. These developments have led to the various formal systems of contemporary symbolic logic. It is now possible to treat many lines of reasoning as calculations, the validity of which is ensured simply by compliance with previously established rules of inference. However, the question of whether or not our reasoning is correct presupposes that we also consider other criteria of relevance and legitimacy, which the study of sophisms and paradoxes makes it possible to identify a contrario. In addition, it is important to take into account the dialectical and rhetorical dimensions of argumentation, i.e. the way in which reasoning is used in everyday debates. This will be the subject of our next publication.

The decision is the most important moment in interpersonal relations and in the life of an organisation or even a nation, because it determines, for better or worse, how we live together. It is a clash of two or more individual wills that seek to prevent the future by generalising the behaviour of its members. A good decision is the result of a process that brings together two individuals or several members of an organisation who, by pooling their rationality, decide on a common course of action to which they will adhere. In the context of a formal structure, the decision results in an enactment or a law. In this case, it becomes a will that commands other wills. In a situation where it is more or less easy to reach a consensus, a rational decision can be made without much difficulty. However, decision-making becomes complex when the positions of the actors involved are diametrically opposed. Reflecting on decision-making is at the heart of organisational management. For this reason, the leader plays an important role in this process.

Educating a human child is a very different activity from, for example, training an animal, be it our beloved dog or a 'trained dog'. Education is the great challenge of every generation of humanity throughout the ages. It is education that ensures the transmission of science, know-how and good manners. It is through education that societies preserve from generation to generation the values and knowledge acquired by their elders. It is education that also ensures the progress of societies by opening the minds and hearts of the young people of each generation to new challenges. We might ask ourselves whether today's world needs the thoughts of John Dewey and Jacques Maritain. Are they outdated, or can these authors, who are classics in the philosophy of education, still speak to our educators who live in a different era?

The current system is over-indebted, current growth is both too weak and artificial, and the financial markets are totally inefficient and out of touch with economic reality! We are facing an astronomical financial bubble that has its roots in the mismanagement of public finances over the last 30 years, fuelled today by the expansionary monetary policies pursued by the US Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank. It would appear that we have learned nothing from the financial crisis of 2008, and that the only solution to our problems is to rush forward. But for how much longer? The self-destructive pattern in which we have been embroiled for too long is swallowing up the economy and seriously jeopardising our democratic pact. We are on the brink of an unprecedented economic and financial disaster. The question is, what will it take to ignite the fuse?

Current education has been defined as a permanent learning process, where two major areas are recognized: the academic and the emotional, where the latter has had a greater relevance in recent times, specifically in relation to the emotional competencies that are manifested during the educational process and that can be known and valued by teachers.In Chile, both in initial teacher education (ITE) and during the development of the teaching profession, there should be programs, workshops or improvement courses that allow teachers to develop skills to know and manage their own emotional competencies as individuals, in order to be able to recognize the emotional competencies of their students. Due to what has been described above, the objective of this book is to understand the evaluations that high school teachers have about the emotional competencies of their students, recognizing that these competencies are necessary for an optimal development of the teaching-learning process, thus promoting emotionally aware educational centers.

Astrotourism is considered a special interest tourism because it unites science, culture and leisure, where its main objective is to provide meaningful experiences, while at the same time providing knowledge about the celestial vault. Chile is one of the pioneer countries in developing and providing services related to astrotourism, so the research considers this case as an object of study. Nowadays, new trends and tourist preferences force the providers of this activity to innovate, project themselves and offer new alternatives that generate experiences. To achieve this goal, astrotourism has been proposed in the city of Cuenca, in the Guagualzhumi hill, a place with a lot of history and culture, which also has its own elements for this activity, such as a viewpoint that lends itself to the observation of the celestial vault. This work, through a quantitative study, presents the degree of acceptance and preferences of national and foreign tourists interested in this activity.

For us, rotating power management is an attempt to find a solution to internal conflicts. From the foregoing, it should be said that in Congo-Kinshasa, which we describe as an ethnic scandal, all ethnic groups should or must be taken into account when sharing responsibilities in the country. More than one Congolese ethnic group is motivated by this concern. The objective of this study was to diagnose the environmental impacts on the quilombola community Pitombeira after the implementation of the Santa Luzia solar complex. The methodology used was based on bibliographic research in scientific and technical sources, field visits and photographic records. The georeferencing of the area was carried out, to identify the areas of influence, using geoprocessing tools; later, a simplified environmental diagnosis of the study's area of influence was made; then, the environmental impacts were identified and classified, and control measures and environmental plans and programs were indicated. Locally, 27 effects were manifested, according to the mitigation options, only 1 effect was classified as non-mitigating. The main environmental measures planned were: implementation of environmental education of the population to promote the reduction of consumption and recycling of materials; remove solid waste from the area and promote the use of the degraded area where the solar complex is located. Among the planned environmental plans and programs, the following stand out: the solid urban waste management plan.

It's through a fictional dramatisation of reality that I try to reflect on artistic creativity, particularly when painting a picture. Through the logical immediacy of making, I try to unite two presences: the painting canvas and myself/body. I am therefore able to hinder a chaotic perception: a kind of voluntary hallucination on the pictorial material, a way for me, as a painter, to no longer be surprised by the distance that creates the anguish of lack. In fact, I see myself squarely in the other, and the most terrible thing is that I paint to give form to anguish so that I can exorcise it with gestures sketched out instinctively. The reader will notice that the discipline of painting disappears in favour of the gaze and fantastical speculation. ... The body, form, sound..., everything that is grasped by the artist's senses, ceases to be physical and is transformed into the substance of the spirit.

In the globalized and technological world in which we live, it is necessary to look for ways to improve digital computer systems. Software, for example, is constantly changing, as there is a need to correct existing errors or add new features and functionality. This evolutionary need of the software system makes it "unreliable" and predisposed to defects, delayed delivery, and cost overruns. The complexity of software systems requires software professionals to reason, design, code, and communicate through software components. From this need, software engineering has shown itself more attractive and has recently become a very approached area. Also through it came the branch of software architecture, which works with the use of layers, aiming to facilitate the allocation of functionality from requirements and to support flexibility and portability, resulting in ease of reuse and maintenance. This is due to the well-defined standard interfaces that encapsulate components. In addition to modularizations, the architecture supports a set of quality and performance attributes.

This book deals with the interdisciplinarity between music and the visual arts, or in other words between sound and vision in current artistic practice. This study is organised around scientific and technological research, artistic approaches, significant collaborations and very specific questions, illustrating this questioning of the correspondences and boundaries that unite the visual arts and the sound arts today. It was with great curiosity that I ventured into this subject, wishing to focus my analysis on the current period in close connection with the last century, whether through recorded or live music, and the visual arts in both traditional and digital media. This research work has enabled me to meet artists and professionals in these fields, in which I have a particular interest, all in an attempt to shed new light on this issue.

The obligation or duty of confidentiality may be defined as the obligation imposed on a person, either by law or by contract, to refrain from disclosing or communicating certain sensitive information (technical, commercial, financial, or even the existence of negotiations or a contractual relationship), precisely defined and identified as such, to the public or to third parties, on pain of incurring various penalties (mainly civil and criminal). The obligation of confidentiality can therefore be analysed as an obligation not to do or to abstain (not to divulge, reveal or communicate sensitive information), of result, most often unenforceable and whose non-fulfilment is therefore mainly resolved in damages. The purpose of this study is to present the sources and the regime of the obligation of confidentiality (§1), its main debtors within the company in business law (§2), the sanctions attached to its breach (§3) as well as the new regime and the contributions of the law n°2018-670 of 30 July 2018 on the protection of business secrecy (§4).

This paper aims to analyze a linguistic aspect that differentiates the two "sister" languages: Spanish and Portuguese. Why precisely these languages? Because within the group of Romance languages, Spanish and Portuguese stand out for the incredible similarity that exists and, above all, that existed in medieval times, between them. Both the geographical position and the historical context contributed to this close relationship between the two languages, so that around the 13th century the linguistic differences between the two languages were minimal. Over time, the two gradually drifted apart, but even today the similarities at every level of the language are still evident.

Contrary to popular belief, the body is far from being a strictly personal object. Like many aspects of our daily lives, it is subject to societal norms. In the light of these norms, certain characteristics, such as weight and build, can be common or even constant preoccupations for individuals. This raises the question of the extent to which weight norms govern relationships with the body. This study looks at the changing place of the body in society and the social construction of body standards. These differ from period to period, as do the resulting models of beauty. They are disseminated in many ways, not least through the media, which play a central role in promoting the 'desirable body'. Omnipresent in our lives, they constantly affirm and remind us of established standards. The pressure they exert on individuals is at the heart of this research. Through the discourse of our respondents, we analyse the impact of these models, from the discrimination they engender to the bodily practices that result from the quest for the 'perfect body'.

The author analyzes the characteristic features of the mechanisms of economic growth and profit formation in the United States of America 1950-2020, which, as the main country of modern capitalism and the most powerful imperialist power after World War II, had in this 70-year period a determining influence on the main trends of the world capitalist system. For the econometric study, first of all, a general growth model based on the Caldorian approach to technological progress was used. It takes into account both physical and human capital, as well as time in the role of the event space of creative economic activity. It compares the overall factor efficiency of the U.S. economy with the world level. The formation of profits in non-farm industries is considered with the help of a function distinguishing between innovative and technological profits. The latter is recognized by the market thanks mainly to natural monopolies in the broad sense.

In order to evaluate the effect of different doses of AIB (indolbutyric acid) and substrate temperature on the rooting of juvenile cuttings of five species of Cupressaceae (Juniper, Cypress, Lemon Cedar, Thuja and False Cypress) in March 1997, a trial was carried out in the nursery of the Forestry Program of the Colegio de Postgraduados. This trial included the evaluation of two substrate conditions (with and without heating) and five levels of AIB: 0, 5,000, 10,000 and 20,000 ppm in liquid solution, and 10,000 ppm in commercial powder form (Radix F-10,000). Each species was considered as an independent experiment with a 2x5 factorial design and four replicates. Fifteen stakes were placed in each plot. One stake sample per plot was taken at 60 and 75 days, and at 90 days all stakes were removed to evaluate callus formation and root emission in each of them.

Adults must be prepared to undergo a relatively significant change in their identity and career. Training is constantly evolving and must adapt to individual needs. Access to lifelong learning is a right for everyone and should be asserted wherever possible.

Automation is the kind of process that simplifies routine actions with the help of technology. There are several existing automation systems and they can be applied to any kind of task. With the office automation system is no different, and the great advantage is that with it you can save time and resources, including financial. The office automation system can bring many benefits to companies, first, because it generates great savings in the time spent on routine and simple tasks, increasing productivity, and also because it is a more efficient way to monitor how these courses are being used, so that there is a more conscious use and, consequently, cost reduction. Moreover, with the office automation system it is possible to increase the welfare and comfort of employees, another fact that also impacts positively on productivity levels.

The objective of this study was to identify and analyze the types and quantities of solid waste discarded by some establishments of female beauty in the city of Catolé do Rocha-PB and present possible mitigating measures. The study was developed in the months from June to September 2022, and included the following steps: choice of businesses, site visits followed by a questionnaire, diagnosis of the waste generated in the establishments, segregation, identification and classification according to the RDC ANVISA No. 222/2018, internal and external transportation, final destination and suggested implementation of mitigating measures. It was concluded that there is no segregation of waste, transportation and final disposal are performed in incorrect ways and can be harmful to the environment. Some control measures that can be adopted are: the packaging made in bags that are resistant to breakage, at the end of each workday all daily waste should be removed and transported to an area designated for such activity and be put out according to the schedule of the collection service, in order to have the appropriate final destination.

Through the inadequate anthropic actions over the years in the hydrographic basin of the upper course of the Paraíba River, where it has been undergoing changes in the ecosystem. Geotechnologies have contributed in the researches, providing the incorporation of information of the natural systems. The objective of this work was to classify the current land use and land cover. Five supervised classification classifiers available on Google Earth Engine were used. The results showed that two classifiers based on Decision Tree Classification and Regression Trees (CART) and Random Forest (RF) performed excellent results, however the classifier (CART) stood out for both the best indexes and visual inspection. GEE proved to be a very effective platform for mapping land use and land cover in the area.
