This book addresses issues related to the management of the teaching career in the face of the aging of the Brazilian population, seeking to understand how higher education teachers manage their careers when on the verge of retirement. The results were analysed and discussed in the light of the theoretical foundations presented in this study, which point to three types of teaching careers: the teacher/professional, the professional/teacher and the teacher/teacher. This work is the result of the thesis judged and approved for obtaining the title of Doctor of Business Administration, granted by the University of Fortaleza.

This study aims to analyse the critical theory of the philosopher Axel Honneth and the effectiveness of the Complementary Law n. 150/2015 in the rights granted to the domestic working class. Initially, the construction of the social reality of social groups and the development of Brazilian legislation on the rights granted to domestic workers will be analysed. The second chapter will deal with the theory of recognition of the philosopher Axel Honneth, highlighting the spheres of recognition, which can be verified in the relations of love, law and solidarity, represented respectively, self-confidence, self-respect and self-esteem and also the pathologies diagnosed in Honnethian studies that can interfere any of the aforementioned spheres. Finally, the lack of effectiveness of the rights granted to the domestic working class will be verified in an analysis of the experiences lived by domestic workers living in the city of Chapecó. The present study aims to verify the existence of pathologies in the spheres of recognition by analysing these practical cases, and what is the interference of pathologies in the lack of effectiveness of rights already granted.

The aim of our study is, in the light of an examination of current Mediterranean policies, to attempt to give an account of the operation of the regulatory body responsible for the implementation, management and control of Euro-Mediterranean cooperation programmes, in this case the UfM, and above all in terms of the organisation of tasks and the exercise of authority over dependent bodies, with a view to implementing accompanying measures to achieve the objectives of security, peace and stabilisation of migratory flows, a prerequisite for the co-development of the UfM partner countries.

This book aims to develop a critical and caring look at the elderly, a social character of great importance because it is the reflection of the complete human development, which has different physiology, cognition and behavior because the body changes over time and we must understand these changes to better adapt, always seeking the physical and psychological well-being. I hope to develop in the reader knowledge that can help in the dynamics of caring for the elderly, the understanding of their limitations and the perspective that old age is a natural process of the human body.

The aim of this study was to analyse the effect of autonomy and social support at work on the occupational stress of employees in Abidjan. A questionnaire was administered to a sample of 80 employees in one company. Statistical processing of the data collected by the Student's t test indicated that employees with low autonomy at work were more stressed than their colleagues with high autonomy. On the other hand, employees who perceive high social support at work are less stressed than those with low social support. These results were interpreted in the light of the demand-control-social support theory of Karasek and Theorell (1990).

This book, composed of a collection of course completion theses oriented by me, aims to develop a critical and attentive look at the health care of women, a social character of great importance because double working day, dividing her time between professional career and family care. Women have different physiology, cognition and behaviour from men, which promotes health problems that are characteristic of this public. With this book we seek the understanding of these problems and the search for physical and psychological well-being. I hope to develop in the reader knowledge that can help in the dynamics of caring for women's health.

The Democratic Republic of Congo is a large country in the heart of Africa, devastated by conflicts that have been going on for some twenty years because of its abundantly rich subsoil. Child combatants are heavily involved in these conflicts, but their involvement has a genesis that many are unaware of. This study goes back to the origins of the problem and its legacy. Children are still soldiers in some parts of the country, and the solutions are still far from producing the desired results.

This book seeks to contribute to the understanding of the ongoing transformations in the soybean value chain in Brazil, with the diffusion of the Industrial Seed Treatment (ITT) as an innovative and market segmenting practice. In the context of intensifying competition in seed and plant protection product markets in large emerging countries like Brazil, with the growth of local companies supplying inputs for agriculture, the strategies that are outlined around TIS may indicate the movements of large multinational groups producing seeds and plant protection products to maintain leadership and strengthen their governance in agricultural commodity value chains. The use of TIS represents the possibility of adding benefits and capturing value, from the point of view of the companies developing concepts and strategies to operate in the segment. It was observed that the strategies of leadership by benefits generation, implemented through the forms of configuration and availability of TIS, result in strengthening the governance of the soybean value chain, in the stages of seed and grain production, by the companies producing plant protection products.

This work, of sociolinguistic orientation, deals with the study of the pronouns você and cê spoken in the city of Vitória (ES). The data sample for this research consists of two corpora: PORTVIX (The Portuguese spoken in the city of Vitória) and FALA CASUAL. To collect PORTVIX, we selected the variables gender, age range and level of education of informants whose common characteristics were being born in Vitória, having parents from Vitória and having always lived in this city. The CASUAL TALK, also collected with residents of Vitória (ES), consisted of two recordings.

Dialogic communication, defined as the sending and receiving of ideas between two participants, can be used by audiovisual companies to interact with their audiences and make social interactions less complex. The aim of this book is to show the role that dialogic communication can play in interactions between communities and audiovisual companies on Twitter. Our application focused on Radio Télé Suisse. This work, aims to address this concept so intrinsic in a more detailed way, through an analysis guided by the chromatic choices of the feature film "The Story of Eternity" (2014), by director Camilo Cavalcante. Treating from themes such as: The concepts of colour, image, signification and cinema. Adentrando also on issues such as Direction of Photography and the psychology of colours, this work is directed to students and professionals of cinema, communication, and lovers of the seventh art in general. The INTERREG III Community Initiative Programmes finance cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation actions throughout the European Union. The Third Report on Economic and Social Cohesion, concerning the 2000-2006 programming period, published by the European Commission in February 2004, recognises the usefulness of INTERREG programmes. They promote innovation and partnership between Member States. They help to reduce the effect of internal borders by encouraging public and private authorities on both sides of borders to work together. This is why the European Commission is proposing to make these cross-border, transnational and interregional interventions one of the three objectives of the European Union's cohesion policy for the 2007-2013 programming period. This objective will be entitled "European territorial cooperation".

The principle of speciality has long been a fundamental rule of public finance. Applied in Cameroon for several decades, it has gradually become as obsolete as the financial regime on which it was based. With a view to putting Cameroon's public finance management on a better footing, Law N°2007/006 on the State's financial regime established the program budget. It was subsequently reinforced by Law N°2018/012 on the financial regime of the State and other public entities. From then on, it was a truism that this formal introduction of the program budget at the heart of public finance management would overturn its structure and foundations, in this case the specialization of budget appropriations. In the light of this analysis, it would appear that, in its new guise, the principle of specialization has been substantially transformed.

The concept of trade is certainly one of the oldest and most important in the history of human civilisation. It has its origins in bartering. For centuries, barter was the only means of exchanging goods and services in ancient civilisations such as the Egypt of the Pharaohs. Then, with the advent of money, it was modernised to give rise to trade with monetary exchange as we know it in our modern societies. Trade has always been a vector of growth and prosperity for towns and cities. One of the most edifying examples of this is the Silk Road. The Silk Road, as a trade route, was first mentioned between the 2nd and 3rd centuries BC in Chinese, Greek and Roman accounts. According to J. BEAUJEU- GARNIER, Professor at the University of Paris-Sorbonne, "Trade is closely linked to all forms of human society. It reflects its characteristics and helps to shape its development". Today, the relationship between commerce and the city is a major concern for public authorities.

Côte d'Ivoire ratified the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) on November 14, 1994, thereby pledging to contribute to global climate protection in the interests of present and future generations. It also joined the Kyoto Protocol (KP) on December 28, 2005. In its efforts to meet its commitments under the UNFCCC, Côte d'Ivoire periodically prepares its Communications and Biennial Update Reports (BURs) on the status of UNFCCC implementation in the country (GHG inventory, mitigation and adaptation measures, related projects, etc.). According to the results of the self-assessment, the UNFCCC implementation process in Côte d'Ivoire suffers from a number of shortcomings, the main one being the low level of involvement of certain key players, due to ignorance of their roles in the process and the usefulness of the information they hold, as a result of financial, technical and communication shortcomings.

The threat to natural resources, especially available water resources, is a cause for concern. Thus the need arises for studies that address the forms of appropriation of these territorial spaces in order to discipline the activities potentially harmful to the environment, and to promote appropriate forms of use of spaces in accordance with their capacity for use. To this end, tools are used that can assist in environmental management to promote the improvement of municipal environmental conditions. Within this context, the present research aimed to apply the procedures of thematic mapping with the use of Geographic Information System (GIS), at a scale of 1:10,000, in order to subsidize the decision making in environmental planning of the Micro Hydrographic Basin of Rio Maior, belonging to the Urussanga River Hydrographic Basin, located in the extreme south of Santa Catarina.

Every day women are victims of mistreatment and suffer violence because of this, they take the active search for health units according to an article analyzed by the medical school of USP in the literature there are prevalence of violence against women and some consequences for their health. Heise (1994) pointed out some data that in fact vary with regard to violence against these women, some in adulthood have experienced at least one episode of physical, psychological or domestic violence at some stage of their lives. In countries like the United States or Canada, alarming rates have occurred, one of them was found in India. According to Brandão (1996), there is the difficulty of women themselves to report the problem and express themselves in a different way about the solutions, seeking plans of denunciation, referring the victim to the Women's Defense Police Offices.

The purpose of this publication is to provide experience in the diagnosis and evaluation of the most common rotating equipment in the sugar industry, using vibration analysis as the main tool, as well as the application of other support techniques to determine defects in the operation of the assets. It also provides methods used in the follow-up to correct anomalies in each of the cases presented, such as unbalance, soft foot, misalignment, mechanical clearances and bearing failures.

Product liability law has proved its worth and has gradually established itself as a law in its own right, firstly in the United States and then in France through European law. This multi-faceted right has undergone many changes, whatever the legal system. It is undeniable that product liability law has become more flexible, moving from a predominantly no-fault liability regime to fault-based liability. The analysis is all the more enriching from a comparative perspective, particularly between American law, a pioneer in the field, and European law.

This book aims to establish the opportunity for a strategic junction of uses between management and artificial intelligence, and hence between the manager and intelligent IT tools in developing countries. To this end, it analyzes the different apprehensions of the major educational players in these areas, namely educational leaders, IT teachers and school heads. The aim is to analyze their opinions on the reality of additive integration of the two variables to boost managerial processes and procedures in developing countries. The study thus exposes the weaknesses of this environment, while demonstrating, by exploiting the opinions of our respondents, that artificial intelligence constitutes an added value through which educational management in developing countries is likely to find renewed improvement.

After six decades of independence, Africa remains the least industrialized continent. Increasingly, many voices are speaking of the continent's emergence. While welcome, this emergence faces the problem of sustainable development. Today's major nations are accused of polluting humanity, and solutions are being sought. Myth or opportunity, Africa has a unique opportunity to position itself as the green continent. It is inconceivable that this industrialization of Africa will take place without civil society, which has been sidelined from the continent's development since the wave of independence. The 2030 Sustainable Development Goals commit 4 actors, including civil society. While in developed countries, a synergy of action between governments and society is verifiable, Africa is still lagging behind. This book shows the evolution of African civil society since independence, and the challenges it faces in achieving green, inclusive industrialization.

The purpose of this research was to generate theoretical contributions on the formation of human capital within the shared action University - Company, to promote competitiveness and sustainable development through knowledge management that meets the real needs of society. The study is considered as a field research of descriptive-interpretative type supported by a documentary research; methodologically framed in a qualitative research, with an onto-epistemological approach of dialectical-systemic type of interpretative character and supported by the postulates of Pandit's Grounded Theory (1996). The investigated scenario includes: Research, Extension, Postgraduate and Undergraduate Deanship of the universities considered as units of analysis, and training departments of the companies. The key informants were: area directors and department heads. The following research techniques were used: online document review and structured interview. Data collection instruments used were: the diary and the questionnaire.

The book presented here is a biography. Unlike most other biographies, this one has a differentiated dialogical feature by keeping, whenever possible and pertinent, a look at the events experienced in the light of the Holy Bible. Thus, the reader will be able to perceive the relationship drawn between the various moments of the life narrated and the way the author understands these facts from a Christian perspective. Such a link is only possible because the experience with The Word of God has allowed the author to see, review and interpret differently everything that happened in her life. Thus, we leave to the reader's delight and evaluation the perception of this relationship and the pondering of the sequence of facts, moments and feelings of the life narrated.

When Giambatista Viko was published in 1975, critics were torn as to how to characterise it. For some it was a novel, for others a short story, for still others an essay. We wanted to understand one of the phenomena behind its exotic character: intermediality. How can we explain the presence of so many different scientific and artistic fields that permeate this text, which the publisher has simply called a narrative? Can we speak of a fiction when the weak or strong polyphony turns it into a genuine serious illocution, a scientific argument? What is the impact of the co-presence of several media in this single artefact? These are the questions we have tried to answer in three chapters. After a brief presentation of the theories of intermediality, we defined the boundaries of the media in which the publisher has theoretically enclosed the work. Finally, we examined intermediality as it operates in the text under study.

This text deals with a theme that accompanies us throughout the years and that even old it remains current, due not only to the innumerable debates that day by day surround it as due to the diverse proposals of Constitutional Amendments that seek an alteration in the legislative system in force. The criminal majority is a very controversial subject, therefore, of a side, are the defenders of its maintenance, alleging the impossibility of the alteration for being a clause stony; of another one, are those that require its modification sustaining that the current penalties are very soft. The present book, besides a historical evolution on the theme, shows how the age of criminal responsibility has evolved. In this way, a comparison was made with the legislation of other countries. In the sequence, the favorable and unfavorable aspects of an eventual reduction of the age of criminal responsibility were pointed out, to, at the end, to treat about the stony clause, that turns the current regulation, insusceptible of any alteration.

Despite the international legal texts ratified by our country, and many other laws protecting women, Congolese women in general, and those of the Tshopo province in particular, continue to suffer various kinds of discrimination, starting with the non-application of legal texts, through retrograde customs and practices that infringe on their emergence and empowerment, to the lack of gender culture on the part of many men. This book outlines the difficulties faced by different groups of women in Kisangani Boyoma (physically handicapped women, albino women and their mothers, blind women, deaf-mute women), and adds to this list the under-age girls who have been raped and whose parents accept gifts from their executioners to keep the matter quiet. This book is the umpteenth plea from the women of Tshopo, and more specifically of Kisangani, for the whole world to pay particular attention to their situation, so that the men and women of Tshopo are equitably involved in the management of public affairs, and that the rights of women are respected by all, as stated in our legal texts for sustainable development.

The present study exercises a construction of knowledge in education through the body, bringing an unprecedented contribution to teacher education through the affirmation of pure difference. The central thesis of the work points out that thought is body. In this way, the argument is constituted through a logic of surfaces, in which a sensation materializes in a writing that invites the reader to touch. Each blade, or each page, is a place, face to face, leaf to leaf, singularities of a body without a precise location of meaning. A book is proposed to touch, read, move, enter, and leave through a procedure that explores the surface of language to access a construction of knowledge through the body. Here, then, is a reading to experience with the body and build possible knowledge. Welcome!

The general aim of this study was to evaluate the resistance to fusariosis and the tolerance to water stress of some oil palm (Elaeis guineensis ) genotypes. Six populations of oil palm hybrids in the form of pre-germinated seeds constitute the plant material used: A114 (G1), A230 (G2), A120 (G3), A146 (G4), A263 (G5) and A229 (G6). The experimental set-up comprises a total of five randomised blocks. Each block is made up of four elementary plots where the six (06) selected genotypes are represented by five (05) pots each. The trial is factorial (Watered-Fusarium; Watered-Non-Fusarium; Non-Watered Fusarium and Non-Watered Non-Fusarium) and comprises six hundred (600) pots. The data were collected over five weeks. At each weekly sampling, two types of data are collected: -Qualitative: consisting of the observation of stressed plants showing symptoms characteristic of fusariosis. -Quantitative: counting the number of leaves and roots, as well as measuring the length of leaves and roots and the diameter of bulbs.

The present research aims to bring to light the writings produced by Trans people in Brazil and to raise the debate about the paths to be taken in order to insert gender and sexuality issues in the curriculum of universities basic education. Besides giving visibility to the Trans population, this work allows the beginning of analytical studies of literary productions produced by Trans authors. It is extremely important to break with the Eurocentric and heteronormative standard of literature teaching and transform it through the introduction of more plural works, both in content and authorial diversity.

This book seeks to carry out a systematic study on the spatiality of informal workers, their unhealthy conditions, deprived of labour rights. These workers struggle daily for a living without any initiative from the public authorities to help them. The ultra-precarious conditions of informal work presented in this book is a reflection of neo-liberal policies within the context of contemporary globalisation of the capitalist system of production. It is a denunciation with notes to dignify the exercise of the work done by millions of men and women who constitute the Brazilian and world working class.
