The monograph systematically describes the results of the development of technology for obtaining bioorganomineral fertilizers that meet the requirements of organic agriculture on the basis of mature compost produced on the basis of cattle manure, bentonite, phosphate flour, various mineral fertilizers and microorganisms assimilating molecular nitrogen of the atmosphere.The monograph is intended for scientists and specialists working in the field of chemistry and technology of organic and mineral fertilizers, agrochemistry and soil science, as well as for undergraduate and graduate students of the above-mentioned specialties.

Gram-negative psychrotrophic bacteria make up the dominant microflora of chilled raw milk. The dominant species identified, whatever the duration of refrigeration considered, are essentially: Aeromonas caviae (36%), Chryseomonas luteola (15%), Pseudomonas fluorescens (29%), Pseudomonas putida (11%) and Pseudomonas cepacia (3%). In addition to the presence of significant aminopeptidase and esterase activities in these psychrotrophic germs, they are also endowed with intense thermostable extracellular proteolytic and lipolytic activities, recognized as responsible for numerous taste and texture defects in dairy products. In addition, all these strains showed optimal extracellular proteolytic activity at casein concentrations of around 3-5%, pH levels of 6-8 and an optimal incubation temperature of 37°C. Rapid-cycling bipolar disorder (RCBD) is a particularly severe progressive modality. It is a poorly individualized entity. The profile of patients with this clinical specification is poorly defined, and therapeutic remedies are poorly codified. The aim of our work was to make a descriptive assessment of the sociodemographic, clinical and therapeutic characteristics of patients with TBCR, and to compare them with those of other patients with bipolar disorder.We conducted a retrospective, descriptive and comparative cross-sectional study of hospitalized patients divided into two groups: patients with rapid cycling and those without rapid cycling (TBNCR).Identifying patients at risk of developing rapid cycles and preventing their onset requires knowledge of the associated characteristics, and the adoption of a bio-psycho-social approach aimed at optimizing treatment and socio-professional reintegration.

This research aims to provide knowledge about the effect of homeopathic medicine, particularly "Passiflora Incarnata 6c", on the reduction of anxiety during dental treatment in the paediatric population that attends the paediatric dentistry speciality clinic at the Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit. The information obtained will be used to determine in which gender anxiety occurs most frequently and if there is a relationship with age, by means of the application of the Modified Corah Dental Anxiety Scale. The universe was made up of 30 child participants in the age range 6 to 10 years, 15 of them were male and 15 were female.

In recent years, interest in mine workings has grown considerably in the mining industry, as it has in all professional mining practices. We have chosen to add this clarification, in the form of a postscript, to this chapter devoted to mining in general. The aim of the present book is to provide an overview of the histological techniques used for quality control of meat and meat products, and to give, wherever necessary, practical details to enable every scientist and consumer to have practical and justified indications about the histopathology of meat products. The present study has demonstrated the ability of histopathology to be a simple and cost-effective tool for fraud control, hygiene improvement and quality control of meat products, as well as helping consumers to make their choices.

The challenge of any new preservation technique is to extend the product's use-by date while retaining its richness in nutrients and functional compounds and preserving its organoleptic quality. Some techniques are costly, polluting or even cause side-effects on health. New techniques that are cleaner, more ecological and greener, such as biological preservation, are increasingly being recommended. In this context, the use of LAB, the use of essential oils (EO) as preservatives and their use in combination with other preservation processes are attracting increasing interest in the research and industrial fields. Activation of the lactoperoxidase system, an antimicrobial system naturally present in milk, is a reliable and cost-effective method with proven beneficial effects in milk, cheese, meat and fish. These innovative decontamination strategies offer consumers, the food industry and even farmers a solution for preserving food.

Urban planning is often defined as a discipline concerned with the spatial organization and management of cities. In fact, it is considered to be the set of measures designed to improve, organize and manage geographical, socio-economic, aesthetic, institutional and cultural factors. In this book, we highlight the cohesion that exists between public policy and spatial planning, which are all disciplines that interact with each other.

In Senegalese law, the concept of regulation has made its appearance in the field of freedoms, notably in electoral and audiovisual matters. But it was not until 2002 that a framework law on regulation was adopted in Senegal. Among the regulatory institutions, the Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications (ARTP) and the Autorité de Régulation des Marchés publics (ARMP) are those that comply with the requirements of the above-mentioned framework law. The former was established by Law 2001-15 on the Telecommunications Code, in line with Senegal's commitments under the World Trade Organization (WTO) Basic Telecommunications Agreement. The second is the result of the reform of the public procurement system carried out by the UEMOA to improve the transparency, effectiveness and efficiency of public spending, and to strengthen trade within the UEMOA framework. Through this study, a practitioner of the two regulatory models makes his modest contribution to the construction of a Senegalese regulatory law.

The International Labour Office describes domestic work as one of the most problematic sectors, not only because of unfavourable working conditions but also because of physical, psychological and sexual violence. Yet the existing literature remains deeply marked by a lack of information on the sexual and reproductive health of domestic workers. The aim of this study, which is intended to contribute to improving the sexual and reproductive health of girls in domestic service, is to describe the knowledge, attitudes, practices and preventive sexual behaviour adopted by these girls. The study showed that the reproductive health of adolescent girls and young women in domestic service in Dakar is characterised by relatively extreme vulnerability, due on the one hand to their profession, but also and above all to their low level of knowledge of RH prevention methods. The unfavourable attitudes towards these methods and the social perception of the sexuality of adolescent girls in Senegal weigh heavily on their use of these reproductive health prevention methods.

Insertion and inclusion are two different concepts. A company that complies with the Quotas Act ensures that a person with a disability only has access to one job opportunity. But inclusion goes beyond this and opens perspectives for those whose job opportunities are substantially limited due to their disability. The speech of support to diversity must leave the values stamped in the companies' websites to become part of the culture lived in the workers' day-to-day life. Only then can we move from mere compliance with formal legislation to a fair and responsible practice in the world of work.

To carry out this work, we interviewed the structure's personnel, more precisely those in the radio and switchboard departments. This computerization, which was not yet effective, is now, thanks to the new system in place which, being user-friendly and ergonomic, makes it easier to monitor the operation of all the ginning plants. We would like to have more time to better deal with the proposed subject by setting up an alert system via sms when a breakdown is declared, with a view to repairing it as soon as possible. But we hope that our work will evolve and be improved by other promotions, and that it will be a help to them. Given the development of new information and communication technologies and mobile services, we are also proposing the creation of an Android mobile application for even easier and faster handling, enabling the application to be used via the Internet by cell phone.

Ventilator-associated lung disease (VAPD) is a public health problem and a frequent and serious complication of assisted ventilation. This study consisted of an epidemiological analysis of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP), with the aim of assessing its frequency, risk factors, isolated germs and excess mortality factors, in order to propose preventive measures to improve the management of intensive care patients. This retrospective study covered 115 patients hospitalized in the surgical intensive care unit at Tahar Sfar Madia Hospital. 40 patients suffered from PAVM, representing an incidence of 35%, of which 62.5% were early PAVM and 37.5% were late PAVM. The risk factors for PAVM found in our study were emergency department referral, thoracic trauma with pulmonary contusion and enteral feeding. Mortality in the PAVM group was very high, around 45%. The prognostic factors found were age > 60 years, presence of tare, APACHE II score ¿ 15, early PAVM, unsuitable first-line antibiotic therapy and presence of complications.

EFFECT OF DIFFERENT COLORS OF MULCHING ON THE INCIDENCE AND DAMAGE OF THRIPS, Frankliniella schultzei (Trybom), IN THE TOMATO CROP. The tomato thrips, is among the main pests of the tomato crop, causing serious economic losses. The damages are due to thrips feeding, causing lesions and transmitting the tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV), known as "tomato spotted head turner", causing a high cost in the control and developing resistance to insecticides, due to the need of sequential spraying. The present work aimed to evaluate the influence of ultraviolet rays reflected from different types of mulching materials used in tomato crops on thrips under field conditions.

The aim of this study was to improve the estimation of evapotranspiration (ETR) for a wheat site located to the east of Marrakech, characterized by a semi-arid climate. In this context, we chose to use the FAO-56 model, which is based on reference evapotranspiration and crop coefficients for its estimation, given its relative simplicity of implementation and its popularity with agronomic managers for irrigation management. This approach enabled us to improve predictions at the beginning of the season in the absence of plant cover, but showed an overestimation of evapotranspiration due to an overestimation of the soil evaporation term. After identifying simple criteria independent of field data, we applied the established relationships to correct the model by data assimilation. The model's predictions of evapotranspiration were significantly improved, by around 15% during periods of high evaporation and 13% during water stress. Finally, we applied the correction during both periods of high evaporation and water stress, and the model was effectively improved by 30%.

The approach to waste management in African cities is essentially curative, despite the fact that many of them, particularly Douala and Yaoundé, have the potential to guarantee sustainable urban waste management. The aim of this book is to analyse the current structure of the waste sector and to understand the informal management approach as a lever for effective waste management. In a context where the waste sector is characterised by institutional weaknesses, organisational shortcomings and a lack of funding, this book shows that it is possible to establish an intelligent waste management system by creating the National Agency for the Environment and Intelligent Development, introducing a mechanism for billing all users of the public waste service, setting up the Cameroon Federation of Eco-Recoverers, and finally designing a digital platform: e-waste, modelled on the informal model. This work is aimed at students, teachers, city managers and decision-makers.

With the objective that the reader can offer better results to his patients in plastic surgery of the corporal contour, we wrote this book transmitting our professional experience in the last twenty years. They are surgical techniques and tactics with the purpose of giving a better silhouette to this body region. All the procedures reported here were idealized by the author and range from the xipho-umbilical surgical tunnel (1998) to the surgical treatment of the scarpa facet (2018).

This study focuses on the transcendental events that have marked the history of feminist struggles, which have sought the vindication of women in the social, political and cultural spheres. Based on the events that took place in Latin America since the 20th century as primary references and in this way managing to understand the reality of today's society, where despite the advances in gender issues, there is still a predominant patriarchal model that promotes a strongly exclusionary androcentric vision. From the 1960s onwards, feminist ideas that had been calm in the face of the conquest of certain rights at the beginning of the 20th century re-emerged, as a result of this awakening and the construction of a society marked by the feminist struggle that still continues today (Álvarez, 2007).

Studies carried out on the situation of children in Côte d'Ivoire show that many children are victims of violence and all kinds of abuse, mortgaging their future, their development and their physical and psychological health. Trafficking, exploitation and child labor figure prominently among the abuses identified. This issue has rightly become the focal point of the international and national community's fight to commit all States to "a future without child labor". In other words, the option for the effective abolition of children's participation in the labor market remains an imperative. The risks to which children are exposed on a daily basis in agriculture, trade, domestic service, transport, mining and many other sectors call for urgent and innovative action. For decades, programs to combat the phenomenon have been drawn up in agreement with governments, NGOs and international bodies. But the phenomenon persists. Hence the importance of evaluating these actions to measure their impact on the phenomenon.

It has been noted that the Algerian university is currently confronted with the problems posed by the training of its university teachers. Why, we may ask, have practitioners and, above all, researchers not yet found a solution to this thorny problem? There's no easy answer, but it's possible to point to a few fundamental reasons that may explain, in part, the difficulties encountered in the emergence and development of university teacher training. It deals with the different carbon deposits and their exchange flows, recalls the terrestrial greenhouse effect and the role of carbon dioxide, and finally provides an overview of biomass and its energy aspect. It's an instructive digest that would be a good prerequisite for any further study of carbon issues.

The mineral resources industry is the backbone of our economic system, providing essential materials to maintain and improve our standard of living (G. Beaudouin, 2009). Whether we like it or not, we are all called upon to play a vital role in a mining enterprise. The aim of Geological Control of Mining, Volume I, is to describe, explain, interpret and, if possible, predict the steps and methods to be followed, starting with geological investigation, geometrization of deposits, mining geology, categorization of ores and the role of the geologist during mining. The geologist's role is not to discover new ores.

The book "Term of Free and Informed Consent - the genre and its structuring", authored by Professor Carmen Regina Teixeira de Quadros, refers to a study on textual genres aimed at forwarding research projects subject to evaluation by the Ethics Committees, according to Resolution 196/96, which incorporates the four basic references of Bioethics: autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence and justice, and aims to ensure the rights and duties that concern the scientific community, the research subjects and the State. In this study, characterization of the TCLE genre was based on the investigation of 30 texts from three different institutions, two from the university area and one from the hospital area, submitted and approved by Ethics Committees of these institutions. For the analysis, the author based herself on Bronckart's conception (2003), who conceives the organization of the text as a puff pastry consisting of three superimposed layers. The study is relevant due to the high number of texts that return to researchers and professionals and students who write such terms, among other problems in their elaboration.

Nature, in all its abundance, offers us a wide range of materials that can be considered as fibrous materials. The study of a new Tunisian fiber, extracted from the Typha plant, will be the objective of this work. We began with a bibliographical review of the various methods of extracting plant fibers. This was followed by a presentation of the Typha plant and its economic importance. Following this, the influence of extraction parameters on the yield, linear density, diameter, tenacity and lignin content of Typha fibers was studied. The experimental design method was used to identify optimum extraction conditions. Statistical study using response surface and desirability function determined optimal extraction conditions. The morphology of the fibers and chemical constituents obtained was determined. Fibers extracted from Typha stems have a lignin content of around 22.05% and an alpha-cellulose value of around 51.3%.

This study focuses on the antifungal and insecticidal activities of essential oils extracted from fresh and dried lemongrass leaves, and the identification of the chemical compounds they may contain. The in vitro use of these oils revealed significant fungicidal and fungistatic potential against various fungal species at different concentrations. Similarly, insecticidal and repellent effects were revealed for both oils against stored food pests. These activities were attributed to certain chemical compounds, namely ¿-myrcene, neral and geranial, which were identified by GC-MS.

Senegal's agricultural sector remains under-productive, given its decades of under-performance. Since gaining independence, Senegal has successively defined several agricultural development strategies, in order to give the sector its full importance in terms of economic growth, income redistribution and food security. This study seeks to assess and analyze the effects of Senegal's agricultural policies on the growth of cereal production, in particular through increased productivity. Despite the efforts made by various governments from independence to the present day, production is struggling to cover national demand for local cereals and meet the country's food requirements, and as such these policies have not achieved the expected results. These are essentially due to a number of constraints: insufficient agricultural inputs and equipment, insufficient rainfall, outdated farming equipment and declining soil fertility, etc.
