Although universally regarded as an essential component of healthcare facilities, hospital logistics is terra incognita in Morocco, argues Jaouad El Kaissouni following a detailed study of two Moroccan hospitals. Based on meticulous field surveys, the book reveals the main transformations in the Moroccan healthcare context in terms of what healthcare represents in the eyes of users and hospital staff alike. The study succeeded in pinpointing the shortcomings of the hospital logistics management system in the two hospitals, and consequently of the hospital as a whole, with regard to the systemic management approach, in terms of stock management, and control. The author develops his analysis of the existing situation and the rising expectations of vulnerable users, the "solidly weak" link in the hospital chain. Such an analysis rigorously calls for the articulation of hospital organizations to the immediate framework of their environment, whose interactions between its components are so diverse and complex.

Today, leadership and organizational culture are regarded as the pillars of employee motivation and commitment. However, it has been observed that many business leaders neglect these elements in favor of authoritarian management. Such a situation fails to instill in employees a sense of belonging and a general interest in their work and the company's well-being. A stable, strong and appropriate culture is encouraged and required in today's companies. According to research, leadership helps build this culture. The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of transformational leadership on the organizational culture of service companies. The study was conducted within a financial institution. The results show that transformational leadership has a positive effect on culture. In 2010, the Brazilian National Congress approves the National Solid Waste Policy, which institutes the closure of "open dumps". Therefore, based on this legislation, the challenge for public authorities is to include waste pickers in urban selective collection. In 2016, the government of the State of Pará starts the execution of the project "Pro-catador: activation Pará", a public policy that has goals such as: the verification of the solid waste situation in the municipalities of Pará; the incubation, so that cooperatives can exercise their self-management capacity; and also the distribution of Personal Protection Equipment. So, the book, besides describing the present project, also addresses the conceptual aspect of public policies and briefly the situation of recyclable solid waste from the global to the local sphere. In the Social Sciences, the study of the environment is considerably recent, as discussions arise in the 1970s. Thus, the manuscript provides a primary source for managers, professionals, students and other interested parties that work in areas involving public policies and/or sustainable development.

The synthetic production of bleach produces calcium carbonate, which in most cases is discharged into watercourses or generally into the environment, causing considerable damage to the environment. In accordance with the legal and regulatory framework for waste management in Cameroon, private companies are obliged to implement waste management processes as part of their environmental management policies. With this in mind, we carried out a study on "the recovery of calcium carbonate from bleach production by the synthetic method in the city of Douala, Cameroon". The study consisted in choosing the process to be implemented for the valorization of precipitated calcium carbonate, taking the case of a crawling insect repellent, and assessing the impact of this crawling insect repellent on cockroaches and fry.

I had a choice of several subjects for my dissertation, but Guinea being a new democracy and open to new investors, especially mining investors, deserved to know what made it so attractive. So, I chose the legal framework for mining in Guinea, and the protection afforded to foreign investment. As the world's leading bauxite reserve, Guinea has set up various instruments to promote investment, such as the agency for the promotion of private investment (APIP). Indeed, it has been winning the confidence of investors since 2010, and 6 years later, the World Bank's Doing Business report ranked it 6th among African countries with the strongest progress. In this book, we show several factors that play a part in making Guinea the new destination for mining companies, from the promotion of private and foreign investment to the tax advantages, legislative means and favorable investment framework.

The development of mobile money has provided a glimpse of hope for the excluded. Mobile money is seen as a solution that can bypass poor banking infrastructure and geographical isolation, and can offer low-cost distribution of financial services via the cell phone network. Moreover, the surge and near-universal use of cell phones and the large number of airtime dispensers that can serve as mobile money access points, a cost-effective financial access solution (Sephooko, 2016) The objective of this study is to measure the level of financial inclusion induced by mobile money in the city of Bukavu. A group loan is a credit contract between a financial institution and a group of individuals, enabling credit to be granted to micro-businesses lacking material collateral. The Democratic Republic of Congo, like other developing countries, has seen an increase in the number of microfinance institutions in recent years. Some of these institutions offer only group credit, others only individual credit, and still others offer both types of credit simultaneously. In some MFIs, group credit performs less well than individual credit; some are currently abandoning group credit in favor of individual credit, and in others the share of group credit in the portfolio is lower than that of individual credit. This situation even leads us to question the effectiveness of this methodology, which has proved so successful at Grameen Bank and Bancosol in Bangladesh, as well as in other countries.

The use of plane geometric figures with children with Down syndrome at APAE/Aracaju leads us to reflect on methodologies to better teach them. This research aims to investigate specific methodologies for a better assimilation of plane geometric figures by students with Down syndrome. It proposes to verify with teachers of APAE/Aracaju the difficulties presented by the students regarding the plane geometric figures, to observe and analyze the professional capacity, along with the training for the performance of plane geometric figures and to propose a more effective method relating the capacity of understanding of these individuals. This project also has hypotheses, such as: there is a difficulty in learning, stimulating the search for a means to facilitate the learning process of plane geometric figures, moreover there is a lack of professional training coupled with poor remuneration of professionals in the area, causing a deficient teaching and, there is a prejudice with the disability by the carriers, which hinders the relationship educator x learner and the teaching/learning.

Breast cancer is one of the world's major public health problems, claiming the lives of almost 40,000 women every year. The highest incidence is found in developed countries, but it is also increasing at an alarming rate in low- and middle-income countries.But despite improved survival rates, the literature describes a wide range of difficulties in the daily lives of patients.This study was carried out to assess sexuality among women treated for non-metastatic breast cancer in remission during surveillance as part of the evaluation of the impact of breast cancer and its treatment in these patients. Our objectives were to assess the frequency of sexual disorders in these patients, to describe the nature of these disorders and to identify factors predictive of these disorders. it is the most common cancer in women.

The present work explores the place of translation in the naming of diseases. It has been guided by the following research question: "How did the Germans express, in their language, the diseases of hot countries in colonial times? This question inspired the hypothesis that the Germans, in order to name these as yet unknown diseases, resorted to methods akin to translation. Analysis of a corpus extracted from documents published in German during the same period, and the use of linguistic, semiotic and functional theories, enabled us to verify our hypothesis. Indeed, the analysis revealed that the various means of naming diseases that were used - clinical observation, toponymy, anatomo-clinical, duration or frequency of illness, etiology, affected population, naturalism and cultural reference - could indeed be assimilated to translation methods, and the naming itself to translation, since they express, by means of language, non-linguistic elements.

This book is the result of a master's research whose objective was to discuss the inclusion of flower therapy in the therapeutic practices of the Unified Health System (SUS), as a strategy for the implementation of the principle of integrality in health care to the user. Meeting the proposal of integrality, the Floral Therapy may constitute an important practice of health care, contributing to a greater resolubility and humanization of public services. The results found here indicate that Floral Therapy, by treating the subjects as singular beings and in their totality, allows a differentiated attention. Floral therapy is a therapy consistent with the principles of SUS and can favor the resoluteness of the system. Thus, it would be appropriate and feasible that it was valued for its peculiarities and integrated into the SUS, being recognized and made available as a therapeutic option to the entire population, so that it can contribute to ensuring the completeness of health care.

In the context of today's unequivocal climate change, we may well ask ourselves what the origins of climate change are, and what the consequences are for people and their activities. In Benin, in the 2KP region, the heavy dependence of the majority of the population on climate-dependent agricultural and pastoral activities justifies all the attention paid by researchers to understanding and setting up programmes to reduce the vulnerability of rural populations. The aim of this research is to map agricultural production practices in the face of climatic hazards. A sample of 130 farms is being surveyed in the three communes. Farming activities are threatened by high levels of sunshine, heatwaves, poorly distributed rainfall, increased rainfall and pest attacks, all of which have biophysical and socio-economic impacts on these activities. Farmers have developed various methods of adapting to these risks, including adopting new crops, changing their technical itinerary, installing windbreaks, etc.

This work presents an introduction to the study of pre-colonial funerary practices within the scope of archaeological research. Aimed at students and society in general, the book aims to make public how mortuary practices can be approached with a view to reconstructing the ways of life of the groups that occupied the national territory in prehistoric times. In clear and accessible language, the book provides a brief history on the study of pre-colonial mortuary rituals and practices, highlighting some theoretical considerations and proposing a methodological model for analysis. Considering that the large number of cemetery sites recorded in Brazil contrasts with the lack of archaeological research on this theme, this book also aims to encourage future studies on this vast and rich field of investigation, still very little explored in Brazilian archaeology.

Mobile telephony and the Internet reign supreme in the communications landscape in every corner of the globe, including Europe, Asia, Oceania, America and Africa. Today, Africa is the continent with the fastest-growing number of cell phone subscribers, and the fastest-growing number of Internet users. This development is causing major upheavals in African countries, while opening up new opportunities in the economic, political and social spheres. Since traditional means of communication such as roads, railroads, landline telephones and conventional postal services are poorly developed, especially in rural areas, the new information and communication technologies (NICTs) are responding to the great demand for being informed and keeping in touch with loved ones both inside and outside the country.

This paper aims to understand if the memory built in order to produce economic and symbolic value, for the ballet show "Encantos destes Campos" in 2004, from La Ballerina Ballet Academy in the city of Ponta Grossa (PR), contributed to the construction and/or strengthening of local identity of the dancers, in the perspective that it had an approach referring to local history. Through the discussion of concepts such as memory, culture, cultural heritage, identity and the cultural panorama of the city where it was produced, to base the understanding of the show on the perspective of cultural production, it was possible to analyze this, in its production process and in the presentations, as well as produce a questionnaire that was applied online via the Google Docs Form tool to some cast members.

In a descriptive, retrospective, cross-sectional study conducted at Kabongo General Hospital in the city of Kabongo, 130 women with genitourinary fistulas following childbirth were surveyed to determine the frequency and description of sociodemographic factors and causal events in the occurrence of obstetric vesico-vaginal fistula in the city of Kabongo in Katanga. Another section of this book deals with the lack of Congolese data on the specific epidemiology of HIV infection in health zones. The aim of this section was to describe the sociodemographic aspects of patients with HIV/AIDS in Kabongo General Hospital, Katanga, Democratic Republic of Congo.

Re-offending is when a minor who has already been convicted is convicted again. The second conviction may or may not concern the same offence. If the second conviction is for the same offence, it is referred to as a repeat offence. This brings us to another result. According to this result, to speak of reiteration, two conditions must be met: the minor must have been convicted of the first offence, and the second offence must have been committed after the first conviction.We thus arrived at the result that the various cases of children who returned to the Bukavu juvenile court concerned either the same offence as in the first case, or the same offence, attenuated or aggravated.

Pure reason is mainly inspired by the Critique of Pure Reason and the Critique of Practical Reason. She looks for the different epistemological leaps and falls that Kant explicitly or implicitly manifested throughout his research. Pure reason therefore implies understanding, theoretical reason and practical reason. Tourism is one of the activities in expansion in Mozambique, a country with natural and artificial conditions (parks, reserves, protected areas, beaches and a coastline of over 2700 km, with wonderful marine and terrestrial fauna) conducive to its development. Tourism is not merely an activity only for those who have money, it has become planned activities even for the middle class, lower middle class and even for people with low income, through community tourism and / or in groups, which minimizes spending and makes the experience more enjoyable, hence the need to study the tourism phenomenon in Mozambique.Domestic tourism plays an important role in redistributing income and keeps tourism activity constant throughout the year, allowing people from non-upper classes of a certain society to also enjoy planned holidays, with leisure and adventure to mix, without spending large amounts. This paper proposes to understand domestic tourism in Mozambique, its importance and applicable improvements for its growth and redistribution of domestically produced income. As well as propose policies and/or strategies for the massification of domestic tourism in Mozambique.

Sedentary behaviour and poor eating habits are associated with the development of chronic low-grade inflammation, which is a metabolic process characteristic of several chronic degenerative and/or non-transmissible diseases (CNCDs), including cancer. For this reason, the scientific community has discussed the application of physical exercise (PE) as a non-pharmacological strategy for cancer prevention. Physical exercise significantly reduces the risk of some cancers (colon, prostate, lung, breast, among others). There are several benefits of PE aimed at the prevention of this pathology, including: improved hemoglobin levels, better weight control, increased immune system, increased activity of Natural Killers cells, etc. Among the various attributions of the Physical Education Professional, health promotion and disease prevention may be the most important practices related to these professionals. Therefore, the importance of these professionals regarding the prophylactic factors related to cancer.

Manipulated by man for military purposes or victims of the effects of war, the environment is always the casualty of armed conflict, with serious pollution and damage to flora and fauna resources, even in protected areas. To prevent or combat such damage, international society has not failed to define environmental protection standards when establishing the rules that must govern armed conflicts. As with any other rule of law, it is mandatory for States to comply with international legal provisions relating to the protection of the environment in wartime. If they fail to do so, they must be held internationally responsible for restoring the situation and preventing any recurrence of such violations. To this end, efforts to remove several obstacles to the implementation of the international responsibility of States must continue and be crowned by the establishment of a global court for the environment similar to the International Criminal Court.

In the field of photovoltaics, the Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) compound could be an alternative to conventional thin-film compounds based on expensive or toxic elements. Apart from a gap of 1.5 eV and an absorption coefficient of 10-4 cm-1, it consists of benign and abundant elements, which will reduce the cost of the final cell. In this thesis, a series of CZTS compounds were synthesised with excess sulphur to compensate for chemical decomposition losses and compositional changes in the Cu-Zn-Sn-S phase diagram. The effect of sulphur on crystallinity, purity and lattice order was demonstrated. The single-phase domain was determined and it was shown that it is possible to obtain high-purity compounds. Morphology by optical microscopy revealed granular polycrystals with rejection of secondary phases in the grain boundaries. The Cu2ZnGeS4 (CZGS) compound could find applications in photovoltaics and optoelectronics. The addition of tin could significantly improve reaction kinetics and crystallinity, hence the interest in studying the Cu2ZnGexSn(1-x)S4 compound.

The Abdoulaye classified forest complex and the community forests of Bago, Alibi 1 and Koussoumtou (CABAK) covers an area of 46,634 ha and is located in the Tchamba prefecture in Togo. Its management poses the problem of governance and progressive degradation due to pressures and threats. Inventories carried out in the CABAK have identified 221 plant species and 63 animal species. Analysis of the assessment of the effectiveness of its management using the BIOPAMA tool reveals a favourable context (64%) and constraints linked to planning (40%), inputs (17%) and the process (25%), leading to poor results (14%) and impacts (40%) on biodiversity and local populations. The current management method does not ensure the sustainable conservation of biodiversity. Analysis of the 7 criteria for the designation of a UNESCO biosphere reserve shows that CABAK meets criteria 1, 2, 4 and 5 relating to natural potential and partially meets criteria 3, 6 and 7 focusing on sustainable development approaches. Participatory management of the entire complex in accordance with the proposed UNESCO-MAB zoning will help to avoid fragmentation.
