The evolution of new communication technologies such as social media affects us all. The world of sport is no exception. Twitter, in particular, offers instantaneous communication and goes hand in hand with sport. So the same questions often come up: what is Twitter actually good for in the world of sport? Is it a passing fad, or the emergence of a new, permanent communication system? Can we say and do everything on Twitter? Questions that apply particularly to professional athletes, who seem to have trouble managing their image on the web and sometimes jeopardize their careers and sponsors for a single tweet. Whether it's with their team, their league, their federation, or their equipment supplier, professional sportsmen and women are contractually obliged to make meticulous use of social media. Our study will focus on the following question: "As an athlete in the world of professional sports, how can I best use and exploit the Twitter channel to achieve a successful communication strategy?".

This book aims to uncover points of parallelism and/or discrepancies between two Portuguese narratives of the 1990s: the works Ensaio sobre a cegueira (1995), by José Saramago and A loucura branca (1990), by Jaime Rocha. In this sense, we intend to articulate the narratives with sociological and symbolic issues of empirical reality, for which we will take as our theoretical perspective the issue of the relationship of control and power over society and the individual. Thus, through this perspective we will try to explain how the characters in the novels get lost in a white blindness and madness, which make it impossible for them to follow the normality of everyday life and make them pass into an atypical state of living, in which it is possible to perceive to a greater degree a subjective awareness in relation to the nastiness of reality. Thus, it is hoped that this study will allow a deeper understanding of the works of Saramago and Rocha, as well as contribute significantly to literary studies.

Everyday life is escaping us. No, I'm sorry, we're the ones trying to escape our everyday lives. The images that surround us let us dream of a life of luxury and adventure. So when the chance to lead that life seems remote, the escape offered by a video game, a book or a play is welcome. Our passive consumption of theatre is a thing of the past. The immersive genre now unveils new notions of interaction, sharing, risk-taking and emotion. By communicating with our senses before our reason, it blurs our perception and leaves us uncertain. Immersion blurs the boundaries of theatre and questions its impact on reality. Virtuality, fiction and reality intermingle. In a context where screens are omnipresent, does fiction take precedence over reality? Studying the immersive medium will enable us to address the notion of the game space: a privileged place of interaction between fiction and reality. By mapping this imagined space, we will determine how our fictional lives enrich our real lives.

Organized by Franci Gomes Cardoso, this book deepens the reflection on the labor market of social workers in Brazil, with reference to assumptions articulated in the research "Tendencies of the Insertion of Social Workers in the Labor Market and the Question of Professional Identity in Maranhão". Based on these assumptions, analyses, and debates in seminars of the researchers/authors, the book articulates, in two sections, historical-theoretical foundations about the labor market of social workers in Brazil. In the first section, it outlines the foundations of the reflection of the authors in three fields: labor process and valorization process in capitalism; development and crises of the Fordist-Taylorist standard of production; labor and labor market in contemporary capitalism in Brazil. In the second section, it exposes historical determinations of the conditions of insertion of the social worker in the Brazilian labor market. In the conclusion, it synthesizes the essence of the thematic axes problematized and reaffirms the guiding premises of the study, with emphasis on the conditions of insertion of Assistants in the labor market, in Brazil, in the period between 1990 - 2010.

According to the International Convention relating to the Status of Stateless Persons, signed in New York on September 28, 1954, the term "stateless person" designates a person whom no State considers as its national by application of its legislation. Today, at least 10 million people throughout the world are deprived of their nationality. As a result, they often have no right to go to school, consult a doctor, hold a job, open a bank account, buy a house or even get married. Stateless people may find it difficult to enjoy basic rights such as education, healthcare, employment and freedom of movement. Those who claim to be stateless must demonstrate that they have no nationality. Case law specifies that he must not prove that he has "no nationality in the world", but rather that he cannot claim the nationality of the states relevant to the applicant. This mainly concerns the country in which he was born, where his family members reside, where he has stayed or where he has had his residence.

This book shows how two famous African writers, Alioum Fantouré (Guinea) and Sony Labou Tansi (Republic of Congo), use the imaginary world through the figure of the animal to depict, in two of their novels, an African society in search of its bearings after gaining independence. Drawing on sociocriticism, the book highlights the contribution of intertextuality to these two authors' critique of post-colonial African society.

The purpose of this study is to contribute to a psychosocial risk prevention initiative at Caen University Hospital. The approach involves carrying out a diagnosis, identifying PSRs with a view to reducing them. As care is the hospital's core business, we chose to focus on a population of nurses. The interviews highlighted tensions that could be factors in RPS, but also factors of job satisfaction that could be protective factors. Following this study, it seems possible to define a number of action plans. The prevention of RPS must be part of an institutional approach. Dealing with RPS means looking at how work is organised. But the most important thing seems to be to rethink management. More than participation, we need management that listens. Health managers come from the care sector, and they have to take care of their employees. Health is a capital to be preserved. Who better to take the health of the people who work there into consideration than health establishments?

Our key question was: in what sense is Wittgensteinian philosophy defined as an activity in both the Tractatus and the post-Tractatus writings? In the Tractatus, philosophy is defined as the logical analysis of language. The essence of this activity is the elucidation of the common logical form of language, thought and the world. This activity is opposed to any form of scientific or philosophical theorizing, since it neither contributes anything nor represents anything. It is an activity of monstration of something formal and tautological, which is logical form. Moreover, in post-Tractatus writings, philosophy is seen as a movement of synoptic-phenomenological description of our ordinary language. It seeks to expose this limitless space of "forms of life" and our "language games". According to these two different interpretations of activity, Wittgenstein's philosophical conception goes beyond the generalizing penchant for knowledge that imprisons human thought in wooden blocks _ as Wittgenstein put it.

From the second millennium to the beginning of the last century, the doctrinal development of theology, and particularly that of soteriology, underwent a dark florilegium. The doctrinal case for redemption in Scripture was very different from that of the Church's tradition. In the conciliar developments of dogma, on the contrary, its place is strangely restricted. It focuses entirely on the human-divine identity of Jesus. In modern times, an unconscious process of "deconversion" has affected many of the metaphorical categories of redemption and salvation, and has parasitized the theological systematization of the mystery. So many of our contemporaries are uneasy about the Christian doctrine of redemption, either because they contest it or because they reject it. What is Sesboüé's contribution?

The electoral process in West Africa is an examination of all the risks for the populations. This electoral game, far from being a routine process, has often led countries into an uncertain future of interminable political crises. This study shows that these crises are not just a matter of alternating power, but even more a problem of justice and political equity. This weakens the cooperative society formed by the citizens of the various states in the sub-region, to the detriment of the confiscation of political power through the perpetual questioning of legal norms linked to elections in order to eliminate certain potential candidates from the competition, and the questioning of election results. In reality, all this is due to a real lack of democratic political culture among Africa's political elites, despite the fact that most of them were trained in the West, in countries with a long history of democratic practice. We also note the sometimes biased role played by the international community through diplomatic missions and election observation missions.

This research intended to discuss the art installation as a methodological possibility for the teaching of art in basic education. Here we privileged Lucia Santaella's Applied Semiotics to discuss the art installation as a methodological possibility for the teaching of this discipline, in basic education. A brief introduction to modern and contemporary art and the origin of artistic installations was elaborated. We also presented possibilities of theories and methodologies for the reading of artistic works, prioritizing, above all, Peircean Semiotics, because we understand that the triad firstness, secondness and thirdness is appropriate to this proposal, by their qualities of sign of feeling, sensation and thought, which can provide an effective reading that covers from subtle perceptions to the most complex. The artistic installation is a sign, a construction that provides rereading, and is able to produce interpretative effects on the student.

Theoretically, the Democratic Republic of the Congo is one of the world's countries that has made social protection one of the priorities of its policy. This desire has long been expressed through legislation which, despite its relevance, remains marred by weaknesses. In addition to the diachronic approach adopted to shed light on the successive changes in social protection in this country, this book also includes a legal analysis. The aim is to provide the reader with an enriching insight into the legal regimes governing social protection in the DRC. The book also highlights the importance of social protection to development, but in a country where governance has long been criticized. For this reason, the limitations of social protection instruments will not escape scrutiny in this book.

After describing a number of forms of violence at the personal, family, social and political levels, I will seek to determine their causes. Then I'll suggest a number of possible solutions, particularly with regard to women and children, and the fight against poverty. I will also make proposals for conflict resolution, reconciliation, respect for the environment, justice and peace. Before explaining what exactly non-violence is, and answering the question: Are religions peacemakers? We then move on to human rights, the basis of peace and the solution to all forms of violence.

The female body carries the mystery of the universe, hard enigmas, strong metaphors, and is a deeply moving subject, both artistically and politically. The veiled-tortured body, the enslaved-submissive body, the sensual-erotic body, the free-exiled body; under various guises, writing about the female body has become a veritable celebration of femininity, and therefore never ceases to arouse the interest of literary research. This comparative literary research sheds light on how the female novelistic body has been represented in two French-speaking cultures: the Caribbean and the Maghreb, by analyzing the works Chair Piment by Gisèle Pineau, Moi, Tituba sorcière... by Maryse Condé and L'Amande by Nedjma.

This book contains specificities of the academic trajectory and generalities of the current professional situation of the first group of egresses of the Pedagogy Course of the National Plan of Formation of Teachers of Basic Education - PARFOR, evidencing aspects of the formation that configure the dynamics of this special course offer. The text that I present represents the author's look on this formative program, considering her experience of coordinator of the first course of pedagogy of PARFOR offered by the University of the State of Rio Grande do Norte - UERN, in two classes of different cities. The class of Mossoró/RN, headquarters of UERN, and the class of the Advanced Nucleus of Higher Education of Apodi - NAESA, in the municipality of Apodi/RN. Despite the apparent homogeneity of the classes, although they were made up of teachers working in Infant Education and in Lower Primary Education without higher education qualifications, the heterogeneity of the teaching experiences of these students revealed an extraordinary capacity for overcoming challenges and developing strategies to reconcile the secular teaching exercise, the tasks of the course and the domestic condition as housewives.

In Mozambique, the institutionalization of Local Authorities in 1997 meant, albeit hypothetically, a broadening of opportunities for participation of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in governance. An analysis of the dynamics of CSO intervention in the context of municipal governance in the city of Pemba, based on the policy network approach, made it possible to verify that their role has been summarized in actions of consultation and mobilization of the citizens for various agendas; in the production of evidence through research aimed at influencing public policies; in the implementation of development projects in partnership with the executive and provision of specialized technical assistance to make some initiatives feasible at municipal level, while the component of monitoring and evaluation of governance is the least privileged. Among other measures, the creation of a municipal observatory is suggested, in which the CSOs may exercise greater influence in various areas of local governance; there was also a need for the CSOs to strengthen their institutional capacity for internal governance and monitoring of municipal management.

States are deploying policies and actions to make their business climate interesting and attractive. They aspire to guarantee an adequate living environment for their populations in order to attract more investors. The aim of this exploratory study is to highlight the main factors influencing investor attraction in Parakou. We found that the policies and actions put in place in the Parakou commune, with the aim of being a pole of attraction, satisfy the investors present in this commune. The sectors of activity of interest to investors are commerce and handicrafts. The exploratory factorial analysis revealed eight (08) factors on which the commune can capitalize to boost its attractiveness. Development strategies in the commune of Parakou can therefore be directed towards these levers. This document is intended for students, researchers, territorial marketing practitioners, local authorities and investors. It informs its target audience about the territorial particularities at work in the commune of Parakou.

A herbal medicine can be defined as a plant extract or a preparation containing crude or processed products of plants with therapeutic properties. Due to safety concerns, side effects, steady increase in antibiotic resistance and inefficacy of conventional drug formulations, researchers are interested in herbal alternatives due to their biocompatibility, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant properties and less toxicity and microbial resistance problems, such as chemically synthesized substances. In this sense, this work aims to clarify through integrative reviews of literature on the use of herbal medicine in dentistry, more specifically in a possible application in endodontic treatment. In management as in other sciences, strategic thinking is practically indispensable to long-term vision. In this sense, it's logical to point out that, just as we talk about strategy in the general context of the company, it's also our right to talk about strategy in human resources management. A right in the sense that the strategic policy defined by the company as part of its long-term actions is reflected in its human resources. What's more, this is a general company policy, the achievement of which is the result of a combination of individual contributions. This is particularly true when it comes to defining a company's general policy, since the individual is not only a subject of social action, but also an actor in it (expressions we find in the work of social psychologists such as Simmel and Durkheim, in 1908 and 1922 respectively). This work questions the validity of a company's strategic policy, focusing on the creation of competitive advantage.

Financial inclusion has become a particularly important theme in the policies and programs of developing countries. In sub-Saharan Africa, it is mainly driven by the rise of mobile telephony. In this region, a forerunner in the impetus given to the development of digital financial services, the assessment of these services reveals shortcomings compared with the exceptional levels achieved in areas such as Southern Africa, where a country like Kenya is setting the standard both in terms of the richness of its digital financial services ecosystem and the services it offers. It's time to ask questions, and look for mechanisms that could have similar effects in the countries of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA). Innovative regulatory approaches are needed to meet the new challenges: interoperability, equitable sharing of value, rebalancing between ex-ante and ex-post regulation. This calls for better coordination between regulatory authorities, as well as inclusive consultation with stakeholders.

The inadequate occupation, the fragmentation of native vegetation and the degradation of natural resources are some of the main causes of negative environmental impacts in watersheds. The landscape, on its turn, becomes an important element for the verification of environmental conditions and for the analysis regarding the use and occupation of the soil. Therefore, this book presents a characterization of the landscape of the Caldas River Watershed, located in the State of Goiás. The study area covers nine municipalities and the Caldas River is one of the main tributaries of the Meia Ponte River. For the delimitation of the updated map of land use, an in loco investigation was carried out, being registered geographically and photographed 68 points aiming at the supervised classification, whose data were processed by the ENVI 4.7 software. The ArcGIS 10.5 software was also used for the elaboration of the maps of native vegetation fragments and Areas of Permanent Preservation (APPs). The fragments were analysed in terms of their area, shape and edge effect, while the PPAs were compared with the uses indicated on their boundaries to survey the environmental quality of the region.

The lupus erythematosus complex is an autoimmune dermatopathy characterized by a disorder in the immune system of the affected animals. It presents in two clinical forms: discoid lupus erythematosus and systemic lupus erythematosus, the former being its milder form. There is still no defined etiopathogeny, but a genetic predisposition and immunological disorders in affected animals are suggested. Lupus Erythematosus is a disease that has no cure, but its signs and symptoms may be delayed with the correct treatment.

This report has gathered information that is particularly useful for the heritage management of the palaeontological site of La Mancha de La Laja, in Bajamar and its surroundings. This is materialised in the creation of an educational and tourist itinerary in the area, highlighting its geological and palaeontological wealth and its biodiversity. This fossiliferous locality forms part of the Palaeontological Heritage of the Municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, declared a World Heritage City. The importance of the management of the Palaeontological Heritage of La Laguna is due to the fact that the palaeontological sites and the fossils found in them are a non-renewable natural and cultural resource, and therefore their conservation contributes to the sustainable development of the area.

Attractiveness is an important element in the development of a region, because it helps to put it at the forefront of the competitive scene, and makes it like a product that needs to be sold in order to develop. Indeed, it is seen as imperative for all countries. This is facilitated, in particular, by the adoption of a territorial marketing strategy that enables the region to highlight its assets and promotes development through territorial marketing actions. We therefore believe that there is a relationship between the practice of territorial marketing and regional development. Throughout this work, we will try to demonstrate this relationship by focusing on the contribution of the tourism sector.

This book is the result of reflections about the educational potential of the fanzine and its contributions to the fields of Teacher Education and Science/Biology Teaching. In that investigation, we introduced the fan-edition as a teaching practice in biology classes in a public school, in Itapipoca-CE. The zines were elaborated by students of Basic Education in collaboration with Scholarship Students of Teaching Initiation of Pibid/Bio-FACEDI, who worked in that school. In general lines, it was conclusive in the research work that, even being related to the teaching of school concepts, the zine making made possible the professional development of the artist-reflective teacher and the implementation of an innovative project in biology teaching-learning. In the work, we organize and expose the educational experiences arising from the educational actions, in which the zine acted as a methodological strategy that allowed the teacher to establish a dynamic, contextualized, objective and innovative teaching cycle at school.

The objective of this work was to carry out a diagnosis of the management of waste from health services in two hospitals in Serra Talhada - PE, one large and the other medium-sized, which are regional and state references. An exploratory, descriptive, bibliographic and field study was carried out, aiming to observe, analyze, correlate and describe events or phenomena (variables), without manipulating them, through data collection. The data obtained were presented in a summarized form and described for easy understanding, making the information obtained more viable to be compared with other data from future works. It was noticed that there is a need for more theoretical and practical deepening of the professionals and that there is work overload for the service managers, which, in turn, causes an impact on the management process and makes it difficult for the teams to correctly operate in the collection stages and packaging. The two establishments targeted by the study have a Health Service Waste Management Plan (PGRSS).

The teacher seeks proximity with the current reality of his/her student through the professional field to build useful knowledge for his/her practice. Teachers' actions must focus on real situations and problems based on everyday situations, and to this end, teachers need to plan in order to understand the student's world so that they can penetrate the incessant search for knowledge. For this, it is necessary to train a reflective, creative and critical citizen to work in the area of Accounting. It is necessary to teach to think, because in the role of support for decision-making, the accountant has to analyze even the profile of the user of accounting information.
