For seven years I have been developing an extension project and several research projects in the field of children's playfulness, and specifically about the Toy Room with the undergraduate students of the Licenciatura em Pedagogia course of the Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais - Ituiutaba Unit. We consider that playing... is a serious thing! Therefore, the initial formation in Pedagogy must form qualified professionals, with the necessary knowledge to act in the scope of the several types of Brinquedoteca, because the children who frequent this space must be stimulated the ludicity, the creativity, the imagination. There are several research and extension projects approved in funding agencies (FAPEMIG, PAPqe PAEx) that we discuss the importance of playing for the holistic development of the child. In the last two years, we received awards due to the classification score in competitive calls. Thus, we gathered in this book, articles results of some researches in the field of Hospital Playroom, School Playroom and University Playroom.

The extreme frequency of sickle cell disease in our country contrasts with a major shortage of material and human resources, which explains why sickle cell patients living in Africa have benefited very little from improvements in the management of major sickle cell syndrome in recent years. In the light of the study we carried out on the inter-critical management of sickle cell disease at the Sendwe sickle cell disease management centre in Lubumbashi over the last three years (2008-2010), the main problems we identified are identical to those found in most African countries: the absence of a national policy of systematic neonatal screening, which explains the delay in diagnosis and treatment, the inapplicability of the transfusion programme due to the absence of a transfusion safety policy, etc. Therefore, for the correct application of large-scale preventive and curative measures, sickle cell anaemia must be made a national public health priority.

This study refers to a documentary research about the Professional Technological Education (EFA) in Brazil, especially the insertion of psychology in this type of education. Thus, the curricula of the Technical Courses in Administration and Accounting of two educational institutions in the city of Santa Maria, RS, Brazil, were analyzed to understand how psychology (related disciplines) is inserted in these formations. The conclusion was that the country has advanced in the sense of valuing and contemplating a more human-oriented education in EFA, but that there is still a long way to go in this direction.

The work makes an analysis of the process of urbanization of the territory of the central region Bogotá - Cundinamarca (Colombia), derived from the insertion of Colombia in the circuit of international capitalism, throughout the twentieth century and with special emphasis in the period 2000 - 2018, period in which operate the main restructurings of the capitalist mode of production and the opening of the territory of the region, for large international investments. The work is focused on two fundamental aspects: On the one hand, it makes an approach to the political and administrative transformations derived from the processes of decentralization and territorial planning, introduced in Latin America and Colombia at the end of the twentieth century, as an ideological imposition of the ruling class, to adapt the territory according to the free movement of capital and concordant with the processes of global accumulation and economic dependence. On the other hand, the transformations of the imposition of this model in the territory are analyzed, resulting in a homogeneous, fragmented and highly hierarchical space (the space of modernity), which achieves a functional specialization for international trade, and an unprecedented urban expansion.

The increase in trade relations between countries in recent decades through access to new consumer markets, trading partners, sources of financing, investment options and more viable areas for the installation of industrial parks, for example, has allowed companies to spread their operations globally. Accounting, as a provider of relevant information, needs to be able to meet the demands and adequately record these changes in equity. Brazilian companies also act in the international scenario and operate different transactions. One of them is the coordination of production, or purchase, and sale of goods abroad, without the transit of goods through the national territory, also known as back to back. From an accounting standpoint, an exploratory and bibliographical research was conducted in order to define and characterize the operation, present the pertinent accounting theory, propose a hypothesis for its accounting and justify it in light of the current understanding that the transaction is reduced to only a financial gain.

Today, peri-urban agriculture appears to be the lifeblood of Bangui's inhabitants. The crisis in the Central African Republic has led to the disappearance of urban activities concentrated in the capital Bangui, a factor in the rural exodus of the 1970s. The deterioration of communication routes with the hinterland limits the supply of food products to the major urban centers. During and after the many socio-political upheavals in Bangui, the peri-urban area was coveted for agro-pastoral activities. In this way, poverty and food insecurity are partly resolved in the city thanks to local agriculture. However, this periphery, which is ideal for agriculture, is under the influence of the urban sprawl of the city of Bangui. The case of the western periphery is appropriate, as this is where urban spatial growth is taking place, while at the same time causing the regression of agricultural space. Farmers are forced to move more than 40 kilometers away to secure their fields in the face of the "Greater Bangui by 2050" project. This study aims to develop the potential of peri-urban agriculture in the west of Bangui.

Over the past few decades, the phenomenon of child soldiers has attracted the sustained attention of governments, international organizations and civil society. The focus has been on gaining a better understanding of the extent and reasons for this sad reality, before drawing up standards designed to protect child soldiers. The international standards thus developed, initially rooted in international human rights law, targeted governments and non-state armed groups as much as individuals, and set out the prohibition on recruiting and using child soldiers. But all these standards have remained theoretical, and thousands of children continue to be recruited in the eastern DRC. This is why we thought that the status of child soldiers, once clearly defined, would enable them to benefit from a double preferential treatment, namely that reserved for POWs under IHL prescriptions in their capacity as captured combatants or hostages, on the one hand, and that reserved for children by the Geneva Convention: special protection in their capacity as vulnerable persons, on the other.

The European Union, which is a regional integration organization, has been able to develop several security policies, this was possible thanks to several factors. The attribution of competences to the Union constitutes the 1st factor which enabled it to act not only within the interior but also at the international level and we have seen the examples where the priority of action is granted to the EU which is a factor in strengthening its security policy. Consistency is not only a principle structuring the division of tasks between the institutions of the Union but also organizing its relationship with its Member States and the rest of the world and affecting the very essence of its action in the security field. , as an international player. The treaties have also given it exclusive external competences, blocking any possibility of counter-action by the Member States bound by an obligation of loyal cooperation. The Union is often faced with several challenges, traditional and modern, but with an effective CFSP/CSDP, it could act decisively to ensure international peace and security, while maintaining the coherence of its external action.

The present study seeks to investigate the reasons that lead High School students to lose interest in Physical Education classes. A survey was conducted, through a questionnaire composed of open and closed questions, with 191 students from three schools of different contexts, in order to understand and analyze the results, correlating with the theoretical content presented by different authors, seeking a reflection on the main reasons that cause the lack of interest in Physical Education classes. The subject is very questioned by its real meaning and the students, even the ones who like it, do not attribute value to it. It is concluded then that are intrinsic factors, linked to the student's personal taste, and extrinsic factors, such as structure, material, teacher/school, are the issues most pointed out by students, that when they do not value the contents, they lose interest in the classes.

Firstly, we extracted the essential oil (EO) from the aerial parts of Lavandula angustifolia (La) using the hydrodistillation method. We then measured the polyphenols present in this essential oil (TPC) by spectrophotometry and assessed the antioxidant activity by measuring the percentage reduction of the DPPH radical. Chromatographic analysis (GC/MS) showed that the marketed (pure) essential oil was rich in various chemical compounds, mainly Linalol, Eucalyptol, Camphor, Terpinen-4-ol, Linalyl and Lavandulyl acetate. These results will serve as a basis for subsequent comparison with the crude essential oil we extracted.

This book is very useful for those who look into the problems of building sustainable societies with the participation of the relevant actors. CEMAC is an international organization for sub-regional integration, whose main objective is the harmonious and reciprocal development of its member states. In the hope of achieving this objective, the Community has set up a law governing the actions of its protagonists. This law, if respected by all, would promote the Community's development. This logic, however, justifies the sacralization of the principle of legality within CEMAC. This work contributes to demonstrating how, in concrete terms, the legality of acts is guaranteed, or how this legality is ensured. We have been able to note with reservation that the CEMAC is a community of law. At the very least, at the textual level (legislative provisions), through upstream norms it prevents the illegality of acts by conditioning their elaboration to imperatives of several orders, thus leading either to the validity or invalidity of the act; downstream, through its institutions, it sanctions non-compliance with the law in general, while giving all persons the possibility of asserting their rights by bringing the matter before the community judge.

This is a study on the external environment monitoring process. It was carried out in three operators from the Telecommunications sector using interviews as a data collection tool. The objective of the research was to verify the monitoring categories of the organizational environment and how these categories influence the process. As a result, it was observed how information captured from the external environment is collected and made available to managers, the sources of information used, the information technology tools used to store and make information available to internal customers and the professionals involved in the external environment monitoring process.

The monograph discusses the prognostic value of genetic markers for early diagnosis of endothelial dysfunction in patients with chronic heart failure. Particular attention is paid to clinical studies on the relationship between the severity of the clinical course of the disease and indicators of endothelial dysfunction depending on polymorphisms T786C and Glu298Asp of endothelial NO synthase gene. Taking into consideration the regional factors in patients with CHF of Uzbek nationality the determination of the role of polymorphisms of genes T786C and Glu298Asp of endothelial NO synthase in increasing the quality of diagnostics and treatment of this disease gains particular importance.The monograph is intended for general practitioners, cardiologists, therapists, masters and clinical residents.

Burkina Faso implements development projects and programs with the aim of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. However, interventions remain an "eternal restart" because, apart from formal evaluations, little or no action is taken to capitalize on experience, resulting in a lack of knowledge on the issues involved. As a result, projects and programs learn little or nothing from their predecessors. Our research has shown that the root causes of the lack of experience capitalization are the non-existence of regulatory provisions in this area, and the lack of appropriate capitalization tools. This book highlights a case study of the success factors, failures, lessons learned and untapped potential of ecosystem-based adaptation. All of which has generated valuable knowledge on climate change adaptation.

The scientific interest in the issue of child maltreatment emerged with the publication of the article "The battered-child syndrome" by Keupe in 1962. Currently, there has been a high and growing social visibility of child maltreatment, which has led to numerous studies being conducted in the most diverse and multidisciplinary areas. In Portugal, as far as we know, despite the growing interest in this area, the studies focus mainly on the particular aspects of etiology, impact, individual, social and political/legislative factors, in relation to children and young people without associated problems. At international level, there are already studies that show the correlation between maltreatment and disability. In this sense, we have tried to verify the Portuguese reality with this research, through a prevalence study. We tried to understand whether disability and/or developmental disorders of the child/adolescent would be a cause of maltreatment, or in turn, a consequence of maltreatment.

In today's increasingly competitive business environment, organizations are taking sometimes difficult measures to ensure their survival. In this respect, they do not hesitate to freeze employee salaries in a bid to balance their budgets. However, wage freezes can also have a negative impact on employee motivation. Therapeutic gardens have existed for several decades in English-speaking countries, particularly North America. Sometimes referred to as horti-therapy, this mediated therapeutic activity has been developing in France over the past few years with patients suffering from mental illness. The aim of this end-of-study nursing project is to provide some theoretical keys to the benefits of these therapeutic gardens in mental health establishments: social benefits, physical benefits, cognitive benefits and emotional benefits. It also looks at the role of the nurse in this mediated activity.

The project, entitled "SEVOTA's contribution to women during and after the genocide", is based on socio-economic data, analyzing the consequences of the 1994 genocide for women survivors. The project consists in providing socio-psychological and economic assistance to women victims of sexual violence and to children and young people born of such violence, as well as assistance to people living with HIV/AIDS through the Hope and Peace houses, located in the districts of the action zone. Activities will be carried out at both center and community level.

The issue of household waste is of socio-economic importance when it is properly recycled by means of composts. They can reproduce organic fertilisers at low cost, and are therefore palliatives to expensive chemical or mineral fertilisers. Organic fertilisers for agriculture also help to improve soil structure by allowing rainwater to infiltrate, gradually releasing fertilising elements such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (NPK), increasing the cation exchange capacity of the soil and boosting its activity as a source of matter and energy for the soil's micro-organisms. In this case, they are a therapy for intensive agriculture rather than the use of mineral fertilisers, which exhaust the soil too much after use. In view of the above, proper management and recycling of household waste is useful for market gardening, which is a source of income if the products are sold. Household waste can cause enormous damage to people if care is not taken.

Any oil production requires access to the potentially oil-bearing subsoil from players willing to invest the funds needed to discover or develop hydrocarbon resources. There are therefore two possible solutions. Either the player that controls access to the subsoil commits itself to the industrial activity of exploration and production; or it enters into a contract with another player, which can only be an oil company. The fiscal stabilisation clause in oil contracts undermines the interests of the State and neutralises State sovereignty. The purpose of this clause is to guarantee investors that their investments will not be subject to any changes, which remains an advantage for them and not for the host country, as it has a negative impact on the national economy. The more tax stabilisation clauses there are, the less tax they pay. This clause is inversely proportional to the amount of tax paid. It affects the most important elements: tax, royalties, levies and the major charge. These are the core elements of taxation.

This book explains the theoretical basis of how a person's identity develops from self-concept to personality and a manifest, coherent and congruent identity, and which psychological schemas, e.g. emotional and cognitive schemas, are involved in the disturbance of identity. The connections between ego and the social environment and their influence on the development of the self-concept, personality and identity are presented and the theories of ego consciousness and identity structure are explained. This book addresses the importance of evaluating didactic coherence in the training of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (FQM) teachers in pedagogical schools. An ideal planning model is presented and the inadequacies in the planning of these disciplines are analyzed. The research is justified in terms of topicality, novelty, theoretical and practical contribution. A statistical procedure is described to evaluate didactic coherence in planning, focusing on the planning stage. A scale is used to assess the coherence indicators and the validation methods of the scientific instruments used are explained. The book also discusses the selection of the research sample, data collection and its organization with ESCODI software. A descriptive analysis of the data is performed and inferential analysis is introduced. In summary, this book provides a detailed methodology for assessing didactic coherence in FQM teacher education. Its statistical approach and the use of validated instruments improve the quality of training and the ability to design coherent and effective didactic processes.

Sanctions play a key role in the economy. The legislator has taken on this responsibility and responded quickly to the needs of the business environment. We all know that law is the meeting of fact and will. Society expresses a need that requires a response, and the response to this need gives rise to a right. This is the case with these sanctions. The legislator has decided to punish all those involved in the company's bankruptcy. It's all very well to criminalize wrongful behavior. However, the purpose of a sanction is enforcement. A major difficulty may arise, in relation to the reality on the ground (member countries), that of the effective applicability of the sanction, due also to the regional institutions in the OHADA geographical area. The example of COBAC, CIMA, CEMAC, UEMOA, ADB, etc., is a case in point. We wonder whether a conflict of laws might not thwart the purpose of these sanctions, the flexibility of a national law of a member state, bad governance '' corruption '' or misinterpretation by a magistrate?

With its southern latitudinal position of 30N°, the Chtouka Ouest coastline is an extremely fragile arid to semi-arid environment. Along a 33 km stretch of coastline between the estuary of the Oued Souss and the mouth of the Oued Massa, the Chtouki coastal landscape is marked by significant morphological diversity, with varied geomorphological forms and formations. The western Chtouka coastline is home to a significant sandy cover. The development of these sandy accumulations is the result of a natural degradation of the plant cover following a succession of dry phases accentuated by extensive overgrazing and strong pressure on the physical environment. The sedimentological study of sandy material along the Chtouki coastline reflects an evolution of the material as it is transferred from the coast to the interior. This is reflected in a decrease in grain size, depletion of carbonate content and increasing eolianization of quartz grains. However, anomalies still occur due to a certain mixing of materials as a result of the diversity of sand supply sources.

The creation of modern means of communication and the latest computer technology requires a constant tightening of requirements for the purity of the production process;The scientific and technical information constantly pays more attention to these processes than to other no less important directions of development of microelectronic production processes and complex production technologies.In some part this can be explained by the desire (and not disinterested) to make the production process corresponding to the established and current standards of environmental protection and at the same time to achieve its lower cost (as many believe that the cost of environmental protection reduces the efficiency of production and increases the cost of products and services).
