The book deals with the study and design of a multi-agent simulation model based on a concurrent process environment. The aim is to design a distributed simulation model under a concurrent process language, in particular Erlang, and to analyze its feasibility, with a view to achieving a higher level of complexity. Our approach is to show that this model can be adapted to the types of applications that enable us to monitor the evolution of a fish population in space and time in the face of multiple environmental disturbances. The first is to propose a new multi-agent design model in this process environment. The second is to adapt the model to the application context, so that it can be validated with a real example. This work will be partly based on the model initiated in the Rapsodie project, which has shown certain limitations linked to a slow simulation speed and rapid saturation due to the cumbersome nature of the chosen simulation tool (Cormas).

From what appears in this book, two realities seem to have competed for the limelight: Lumumba's political talent, on the one hand, and his literary talent, on the other. While the former was immediately obvious, to the point of attracting almost unanimous positive reviews, both in his own country and on the continent, and even worldwide, the same cannot be said of the latter, the literary talent of this Hero and Martyr of Congolese Independence, which the few critics seem to have confined to pamphlets and political declarations (sometimes deemed controversial). In any case, Lumumba deserves to be listed among the Congolese writers of the "1960 - 1965" period. This gesture would contribute in some small way to the discovery and exhumation of one of the "hidden face" particles. This book is as much a testimony to the multi-faceted talents mentioned above as it is a plea to any justice-loving spirit for his rehabilitation. It is true that no one, better than Lumumba, found the appropriate lexicon, syntax and rhetoric to paint the painful realities of slavery, colonialism and neo-colonialism suffered by his compatriots. Etc.

Congo's agricultural sector, despite the diversity of its voluntary modalities, is still struggling to meet local demand. Successive waves of policies have only served to disillusion us as to the effectiveness of agricultural supply. From the results obtained, we note that rural population and gross fixed capital formation have an impact on cereal production. The abundance of arable land, on the other hand, has no impact on cereal production. This is due to soil fertility problems and the depletion of mineral elements in the soil. This is because rain-fed farming systems require renewable technologies, which the State is called upon to coordinate and promote. The government is therefore called upon to define its vision for agricultural research in the Congo. It is a strategy that will include what the country intends to become in terms of the development of renewable technologies capable of increasing the stability of productivity and the resilience of agricultural production systems.

The Sirba is one of the two sub-basins most vulnerable to climate change in eastern Burkina Faso. Using data from ten synoptic stations operated by Burkina Faso's National Meteorological Department, we have shown that this sub-basin is undergoing progressive aridification. Hence the importance of assessing its impact on plant cover in order to prevent the survival of populations. A study restricted to the downstream part of this sub-basin, using NDVI images of spot vegetation and De Martonne's aridity index, shows that the drying out of the vegetation cover is not the only effect of this aridification. Despite increasingly abundant rainfall, the climate is aridifying under the action of temperature, ETP and various anthropogenic activities, which still require study, regulation and control by governmental institutions and international bodies. In short, the results of this study are essential for all those involved in agricultural work, climate change, GIS, humanitarian aid, forest and water resource protection, etc., in Sahelian and other countries.

This book is a compilation of the achievements of the Fédération des Paysans du Fouta Djallon in integrating young people into the agricultural sector. The first stage is a brief review of the migration phenomenon in Middle Guinea and the reasons that led the farmers' organization to intervene in the installation of young people. The second reports on the results of the partnership with the École Nationale d'Agriculture et d'Élevage de Tolo, in the context of hosting students on work placements with our members. The third deals with the inspirational trips organized in the West African sub-region and in Europe for the benefit of young people, some of whom were able on their return to develop and acquire a certain autonomy in their farms or other activities undertaken. The fourth deals with the consultations held with groups of young people in the region, and the support provided to those who have been set up or accompanied since 2011. The latter share their experiences and their development ambitions for the coming years.

The objective of this research is to study corruption, but from a preventive perspective under an administrative law approach. The theoretical-conceptual framework is developed, for which we resorted to the study of the doctrine and the references of mechanisms implemented in Chile and Uruguay, taken as more advanced systems from which lessons learned can be extracted. The following section presents the results of the research, with the development of each of the proposed mechanisms, divided into the following areas: human resources, public contracts, declarations, internal control system and attention to complaints, government openness and laws that need to be approved in the country to have a legal regime that strengthens the prevention of corruption.Subsequently, it develops the need to create an independent constitutional body to act as the governing body of the National System of Public Ethics and Anticorruption to lead and articulate the efforts being made in this area to effectively fight corruption.

In the Faculty of Agricultural, Livestock and Forestry Sciences of the Universidad Mayor de San Simon (UMSS), Cochabamba, Bolivia, a project was developed with the objective of utilizing the solid waste from the dairy herd of the UMSS, the main activities developed were the creation of compost with cow manure, The main activities that were developed were the creation of compost with cow manure, installation of a worm breeding bed with dimensions of 5 m long, 1 m wide and 0.5 m high, then the worms were inoculated in the bed with compost and finally a budget was made with the costs that were used for this activity.

Introducing management necessarily means thinking about the people who make up the company, just as much as thinking about the impact of new technologies on management, and here again, on people, because the environment demands it. In one way or another, each and every one of us manages and is managed: "you're not born a manager", "you become one". Each of us, in one way or another, at one time or another is responsible for others: the father or mother with his or her children, the product of a parent-teacher association or the co-owner, the coach of a soccer team, the class delegate with the students - all this leads us to say that management is a delicate activity that consists of leading men or women to precise objectives, making the best use of each person's skills. That's why each individual has to make the best decisions for the group in question, in the collective interest. This also leads us to say that the manager is a leader by virtue of his or her natural authority (charisma).

Macedonski's work, considered a replica of Eminescu's, attracts attention for its complexity and originality. The study aims to highlight the fact that the island and sea of Eminescu's "Cezara" and Macedonski's "Thalassa", in addition to their meanings, structures and concrete contextual functions, acquire new valences, becoming spaces of eros and/or thanatos. Decoratively speaking, the Isle of Snakes ("Thalassa") is an arid island, while the Isle of Euthanasius ("Cezara") contains lush vegetation. "Thalassa" is a short story built around a pagan myth, and has a closed ending. "Cezara", on the other hand, conceived around a Judeo-Christian myth, is a short story with an open ending. As we go through the works, we notice the unity in diversity, the genius of Eminescu and the talent of Macedonski.

After a phenotypic study of the bacterial isolates, two groups were obtained: a major group (75%) corresponding to mycelial bacteria, i.e. actinomycetes, and a group (25%) corresponding to non-mycelial bacteria. The percentages of strains with inhibitory activity were considered to be very high, mainly for actinomycetes. They can reach 80 and 100% for isolates with antifungal and antibacterial activity respectively. Most active isolates are able to solubilize phosphates, produce IAA and synthesize proteases, amylases and chitinases. The AH281 actinomycete isolate with antimicrobial activity against all target germs was selected in order to optimize the conditions for producing bioactive molecules, such as culture medium, incubation period, temperature and pH. This study led to the conclusion that strain AH281 is highly active in nutrient broth, at 30°C and pH 9. Preliminary identification of the synthesized molecule showed it to be non-proteinaceous and resistant to high temperatures.

The text has undergone multiple variations, produced by the changes in the paradigm of linguistics, which has generated diverse conceptions. The term text derives from the Latin verb "textere" which means to weave, to interweave and from the noun "textus" which expresses something woven or interwoven. This means that the text is a set of coherent and cohesive statements, which are interwoven through meaning.To know our culture is to know how to read the universe, which is constructed with discourse focused on the communicative intention of its speakers. Therefore, reading is a cognitive process that establishes an interaction between reader, text and context, Solé (1997).

Autoimmune hepatitis (HAI) is a rare chronic inflammatory disease of the liver in children. A simplified diagnostic score was proposed by the International Auto-immune Hepatitis Group (IAIHG) in 2008. The diagnosis of HAI is based on clinical, immunological and histological criteria. Liver biopsy (LP) is an essential examination for the diagnosis of HAI. Histological criteria help confirm the diagnosis and guide treatment. The presence of interface hepatitis and plasma cells within this infiltrate are important diagnostic features, but are not specific. PBF can also be used to assess the presence of fibrosis, which is quantified using the METAVIR score. The IAIHG score helps clinicians make the diagnosis. Use of the HAI 2008 simplified diagnostic score could contribute to early diagnosis, particularly in forms of chronic hepatitis. Despite moderate specificity, it is preferable to over-diagnose while awaiting review, and prescribe corticosteroid therapy, rather than let the child progress to liver cirrhosis.

The objective of this study is to assess the effect of per capita energy consumption on development dynamics in Côte d'Ivoire. The basic hypothesis formulated assumes a positive effect in the short and long term. After analyzing our variables, we conducted an ARDL model. The result is that the increase in per capita energy consumption, reflecting economic dynamism, marked by the creation of new activities, and generating a need for labor, has a positive long-term effect on the level of per capita wealth. However, short-term shocks, and the gradual use of a production technology characterized by an intense substitution of labor by capital, could contribute to reversing the direction of this relationship. This would result in the reduction of growth gains directed to the poorest, yet most numerous, strata, thus affecting their welfare. The fundamental recommendation of this study is the need for policy makers to define an appropriate capital-labor ratio, so as to avoid the construction of an impoverishing industry.

Narjes Challouf, born in 1992, is a visual artist specialising in media art and a doctoral student in aesthetics and art practice at the Institut Supérieur des Arts de Sousse. This work is mainly concerned with the sense of misappropriation of the videographic image. It is an experimental face produced with new technologies and various disturbing materials such as water, Indian ink and sand.the use of video poses the question of diversion, instability, fluidity and non-constancy. Based on this observation, the fluid texture of the 'electronic' videographic image is constantly changing and reformulated by light and reflection, and flows like water, changing form and state. Popular opinion tends to believe that patients are the first, if not the only, victims of Alzheimer's disease, yet the consequences and repercussions of the disease are often considerable for caregivers, due to their emotional and affective involvement with their sick loved ones. The level of knowledge about nosocomial infections is an essential component in the enhancement of measures to combat nosocomial infections and in the development of effective preventive and curative strategies. The aim of this study is to describe the knowledge, attitudes and practices of students in the Nursing Care stream with regard to healthcare-associated infections. It is a cross-sectional study, using a self-administered questionnaire, which took place between February and June 2019. One hundred and fifty-nine students (n=159) were surveyed. The mean score for general knowledge was 3.42 ± 1.50. The mean score for knowledge of attitudes and practices was 11.50 ± 3.42. The average total score was 14.92 ± 5.007. The total score was better for students who had received training in nosocomial infections (P¿0 .05). The Multi-skilled Nurse option recorded the best knowledge scores compared with the other options in the pathway. The definition of nosocomial infection and the mode of transmission by hand were ignored by more than half of the students.

This was a retrospective study about 44 cases of de novo MM diagnosed between January 2003 and December 2013 at the clinical hematology department of the main military hospital in Tunis. Classification of bone lesions was based on the staging of Durie and Salmon(DS), Durie and Salmon Plus (DSP) and the MPSS score (MRI-based prognostic score for multiple myeloma).Radiological abnormalities were found in 81.8% of cases on RS and in 75% of cases on spinal cord MRI. Classification according to MPSS score: (22.7%) stage IA, (13.65%) stage IB, (38.65%) stage II and (25%) stage III. Classification according to DSP showed that 22.7% were stage IA, 13.65% stage IB, 38.65% stage II and 25% stage III. Spinal cord MRI revealed spinal cord compression (SC) in 31.8% of cases, and radicular compression (RC) in 15.9%. The number of patients with normal RS and pathological spinal cord MRI was 14 (31.8%).

This book develops a study on the different variables that influence school dropout during the secondary school period in the Spanish educational system. From the data obtained during the development of the classes, the steps followed to carry out the statistical analysis are detailed with the aim of recognizing the efficiency of the use of new teaching methodologies as a resource to reduce school dropout in this stage.

This work deals with public policies to promote entrepreneurship in the field of creative industries, focusing on economic activities of cultural-religious base.Creative industries include sectors where the final production results in cultural goods of consumption or technological content. The research locus of this work is the municipality of Juazeiro do Norte/CE, since this municipality has a relevant set of creative professionals who direct their work to a religious theme. In view of these aspects, the author of this work was motivated by an investigation guided by the following starting question: What is the content and adequacy of public policies for the promotion of entrepreneurship within the scope of cultural-religious based creative industries activities? The theory chosen as reference for the study was the Eclectic Theory of Entrepreneurship, which considers economic, social, and political factors as determinants of entrepreneurial activity. The methodology of the work is qualitative in nature, operationalized by focus groups and qualitative interviews, with information analyzed using the content analysis technique.

If traditional pedagogy is mainly focused on the contents to be communicated to the learners, we can see that the new pedagogy is mainly interested in the fact that these learners can acquire skills and know how to use and develop them. This is why this pedagogy uses methods that take into consideration the interest of the learners. Thus, it leaves them a large margin of freedom and respects their personalities by pushing them towards personal creativity. This requires a different pedagogical style which is only teamwork and understanding of the personality of each learner. In addition, the new pedagogy opens its doors to the mastery and use of technology by putting it at the service of teaching. We see in particular here the interest of the film and the song in such a pedagogy. These two media can help learners to better understand the lessons, and to grasp their deep meaning.

Breast carcinoma is a multicausal disease. Metabolic alterations at the diagnosis of breast carcinoma were related to the clinical-tumor characteristics of the patients. An observational-analytical and cross-sectional research was carried out with 155 patients with breast cancer diagnosed in 2019 in Pinar del Río. The documentary analysis allowed obtaining demographic data and characteristics. Patients with overweight-obesity and normoglycemia were predominant. No association was found between high BMI and menopausal status at the time of diagnosis. Overweight-obesity was associated with the stage of the disease in postmenopausal women and represented a protective factor in relation to the estrogen receptor type of the tumor in premenopausal women.

This book is dedicated to investigate the possibilities of determining a kind of grounding of Ethics, since to talk about grounding is to talk about a kind of grounding, which ultimately aims at establishing what makes a certain thing what it is. Thus, from an ontological point of view, we would have a way to identify the 'grounding' of ethics, that is, we would have the possibility of saying something concrete and objective as a valid ethical judgment. To do so, I go through the theories of ethics, as well as points that could help us identify a valid moral judgment, or even establish a moral truth. Saying something about a truth in ethics leads us to more complicated scenarios, since we have to deal with the possibility of the existence of moral facts and what those facts would be. And in this scenario I invite all people, who wish to investigate more intensively the questions of Ethics, to accompany me on a philosophical journey.

On January 4, 1882, Emperor Meiji issued the so-called Imperial Rescript for the Army (Gunjin Chokuyu). The Rescript marked the beginning of a period of rapid change in which Japan became less of an isolated feudal state and more of an industrialized, militarily aggressive nation. The Meiji renovation imposed practical rules on the Japanese. The imposition of these rules led to the modernization and westernization of Japan. Meiji used his imperial authority to abolish feudalism and the samurai, and create a constitutional monarchy. He paved the way for the birth of the Japanese empire.

When we refer to the safety of children in radiology services, the first thing that comes to mind, or at least should be, is the associated risk of cancer throughout the life of these patients derived from the exposure to ionizing radiation. This book, without intending to delve into the genetic and molecular bases of this pernicious effect, aims to address in a concise and simple way the reason for this potential risk without avoiding the controversies that still exist in this regard. Likewise, also in a concise but rigorous way, we show how the safety of the pediatric patient in said hospital environment is a much broader and more complex field of study and work. Within this complexity we include the adequate management of the risks associated with the use of contrast media, the transfer of patients from the different neonatal units, the sedation required in magnetic resonance studies and exposure to magnetic fields that this last technique of image generates.

Heart failure is defined as the inability of the heart to provide sufficient output to meet the metabolic needs of the organs, and its prevalence in the general population is between 2% and 3%, rising to 20% in octogenarians.In Mali, in studies carried out in hospitals at the CHU du point G in 2004, heart failure was the leading reason for admission to the cardiology department, with a rate of 41.3%.decompensation of heart failure can progress to the acute phase, which can be complicated by a condition known as shock.There are 4 types of shock: hypovolemic, cardiogenic, anaphylactic and septic. In our study, we focused specifically on cardiogenic shock, which clinically presents with signs of tissue hypoperfusion associated with low cardiac output.It is associated with a morbi-mortality that varies according to its etiology, with a mortality rate of 40-70%, and its treatment relies on vasopressors of the vasoconstrictor and positive inotrope types. The aim of our study was to take stock of the practical use of these positive inotropes in cardiology departments in Mali (Bko).

Today, the link between environment and health is now established, and the concept of environmental health has taken a growing place in public health issues. The problem of environmental pollution by Trace Metal Elements (TMEs) is a perfect example. In recent years, this issue has become a global concern due to its toxicity, abundance and persistence in the environment. Compared to other TMEs, lead and cadmium are the two most cited toxic elements in the scientific literature and are considered priority pollutants because they are known to be harmful to human health and dangerous to the environment. The present research focused on designing a technological application of indicators of the production process management system, these elements are important tools to control the results of a production process, but at the same time very complicated to apply in real time. High-level management indicators can focus on the overall performance of the company, while low-level KPIs can focus on processes or employees in each department such as: production, sales, marketing or a customer support center. The creation of KPIs is a priority to start recording results, and to obtain relevant process information. Unfortunately, consensus is increasingly invoked to justify the effectiveness and vitality of democratic practice. This book opposes any strategy aimed at negotiating, instead of applying the legal and socio-political norms that organize society. Talon governance, since April 6, 2016, has brought to light the socio-cultural, political and institutional factors (including consensus) of the failure of development policies in Benin.
