The origins of this book lie in the shortcomings that Congolese society, particularly the scientific community, has identified in the Congolese education system, especially at university level, in terms of the quality of the teaching and training provided. During teaching and administrative meetings (departmental or faculty councils, meetings to set up the jury for a Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures [D.E.S/D.E.A] dissertation or a doctoral thesis), there is inevitably controversy about the skills of certain teachers, suggesting that some are well trained and others are not. This diagnosis has prompted us to identify the causes of the dysfunction that is eating away at higher and university education in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and to propose some possible solutions.

The importance of this work is developed with laboratory experience, for learning, knowledge and integration of the presence and observation of the growth of microorganisms with samples from different ecosystems, data collection, analysis and evaluation of cultures.With the objective of understanding the biogeochemical processes, of microbial ecology, in nature; of the diverse microorganisms that interact in the ecosystems: air, water and soil. For the integral application in the study and multidisciplinary solutions in areas of high potential such as: bioremediation, environmental, ecology, biotechnology, bioengineering, agroindustry, sustainability and climate change among others, being of great relevance and current scientific impact in our environment in the conservation of communities and ecosystems.

This book "Manual of Games in Spaces in Contact with Nature". It presents a great variety of ludic activities to be developed in different scenarios such as the Park, the Beach and the Hill. Its main purpose is the development of Motor Skills by adapting different directed games and various playful motor activities within each session of a Physical Education class, covering both the motor, social, emotional, cognitive and psychological dimensions, together with the learning process.

During the training process, it was possible to observe changes in the discourse and posture of the literacy teachers. At first, the teachers participating in the program did not believe in the proposal of the trainings; for them the learning process of reading and writing could be based on memorizing the alphabet and training the writing of letters. They gradually abandoned these beliefs and invested in the approaches that seek to give more value to the culture, identity, life history, and expectations of the students. Through the involvement with the application of the methodology in classroom practice, they verified the efficiency of the methodological proposal and really noticed the involvement and growth of the students. To achieve a real change, a praxis based on the exchange of experiences, interactions among learning subjects, involving dynamic and productive activities, was established. The important thing was to establish a dialectical relationship between trainer and literacy teacher.

A didactic resource is a figurative model that reproduces reality in a schematic and concrete way, consolidates knowledge, can be developed in various ways bringing innovation to teaching, making it more understandable to the learner. A current resource is the technology of 3D printing, or additive manufacturing, is a type of rapid prototyping (RP) that occurs by adding raw material gradually along with the virtual data of three-dimensional physical models/objects. Its use in Biology allows the construction of cells, organs and teeth, allowing the handling of parts that existed only in the virtual world, making the classes more interesting, recreational and full of meaning, contributing to the teaching learning process. Thus, this work aims to disseminate this technology as a didactic resource and to contribute to the teaching of Zoology. This is the result of the Professional Master's research in Science and Mathematics Teaching named "Importance of the use of 3d printed didactic resources in the process of teaching and learning zoology", developed at the Federal University of Acre, thanks to the guidance and helpfulness of Prof. Dr. Yuri Caraccas de Carvalho.

The current and future history of copyright is much finer and more complex than a simple opposition between nice creators bled by vile pirates and counterfeiters.However, all the arts are expressions of human creativity. Individuals express their creativity through: visual, sound, writing, movement, three dimensions and through multimedia. Note that in the arts, creative expressions are called works. The works can be, for example, paintings, photos, songs, novels, poems, plays, choreographies, sculptures, buildings, films and electronic games...Today the world of intellectual property is threatened by acts of piracy, counterfeiting which cover a set of acts infringing copyrights and neighboring rights.

Experimental models are important in diabetes mellitus research. The effect of intraperitoneal inoculation of streptozotocin at a dose of 60 mg/kg was evaluated in young male Wistar rats. An experimental study was carried out using 30 male Wistar rats distributed in three groups of 10 rats each, determining biochemical parameters periodically and morphohistological characteristics of organs at 60 days of trial duration. Results. On one day the rats inoculated with streptozotocin became diabetic, showing a correlation with uric acid and bilirubin at all times when measurements were taken, unlike albumin which did not vary at any time. Histological alterations were found in pancreas, liver and kidney, atrophic and without signs of necrosis.

With increasing population growth and the need for ever greater food production, it is becoming increasingly necessary to increase crop productivity combined with greater economy and sustainability of agricultural systems. Nitrogen fixation by the association between rhizobia and legumes meets these requirements. How to benefit from the process? By inoculating the seeds with the appropriate bacteria, called selected strains, the plant comes into contact with the microorganism to form the symbiosis. Symbiosis is the technical name of the intimate association that is formed between the bacteria and the plant. In Soil Microbiology, BNF is the area that has received the greatest research attention worldwide due to the fact that the practical application of the process is within reach of important cultivated legumes and the economic and environmental benefits and returns to society.

Growth functions are used to graphically represent the weight gain as a function of age (called growth curve). To propose a new function to describe all the growth in the productive life of females considering simultaneously the effects of age, gestation and lactation, data obtained in the Instituto Agronômico do Paraná (IAPAR), constituted of weight records of 19 Nelore females (NN), 7 F1 Guzerá x Nelore (GN), 19 F1 Red Angus x Nelore (RN), 4 F1 Marchigiana x Nelore (MN) and 17 F1 Simental x Nelore (SN) were used. The new prediction equation was composed by three functions: weight gain with age, weight gain during gestation and weight loss in lactation. Simultaneous adjustment of the functions showed adjusted multiple determination coefficient (Ra²) between 0.996 and 0.998, with standard deviations lower than the parameter estimates and Durbin-Watson statistic value higher than 0.8, when the function was adjusted to the information of NN, MN, RN and SN groups, indicating that the function presented a good adjustment. It was verified that the new function described all the growth in the productive life of females.

The aim of this book is to assess the contribution made by the UNHCR and the WFP in providing humanitarian aid to Central African refugees in the Logone Oriental region of southern Chad and its impact on the lives of the refugees. The Central African refugees based in southern Chad suffer from basic social problems such as insecurity, malnutrition, undernourishment, health, education, access to drinking water and sexual and gender-based violence. All these problems constitute a major threat to the refugees' survival. Based on this work, we seek to go beyond the instruments and causes that underpin the action of the UNHCR and the WFP on behalf of refugees, to show how the two organisations proceed to protect refugees and ensure food security in refugee camps. Our analysis shows that the actions of the UNHCR and the WFP in the Goré camps have made a considerable contribution to guaranteeing basic rights in terms of protection and alleviating famine and malnutrition, but that more needs to be done to ensure that humanitarian aid is part of a new dynamic in which human dignity prevails.

How young people understand the bonds of sport in society from a critical approach of the football content in school Physical Education starting from an intervention process of the modality is the conductive line of this work. With a view to a pedagogical proposal that teaches more than the technical and tactical skills of the game, a set of classes was launched aiming at contributions to the critical and political education of those involved in the investigation. Regarding the learning process, it was identified that the origin, institutionalization, political instrumentalization, globalization, commodification and the question of gender in football had as a main and common element, as an educational tool, the interaction arising from significant practices, together with the valorization of the historicity, experience and knowledge of the participants themselves. The young people pointed towards that which seems to make more sense to them, that which reaffirms their identities and which is more coherent with their world projects. Hence the importance of significant practices, in this case football, which explain, dialogue and assist the construction of new knowledge.

The book that we have the honour of submitting to the kind attention of our readers has the following main objectives: - to make our contribution to the scientific debate on the understanding of issues relating to the concepts and evaluation of public policies; - to provide the general public with a tool for explaining and popularising the basic concepts relating to public policies; - to help highlight the need to take account of sectoral specificities when evaluating public policies. Its content reviews the sensitive contours of the public policy issue (i); proposes a conceptual inventory of public innovation policies (ii); examines the singularities of public innovation policies with regard to digital technology (iii); and, discusses the conditions of specific applicability to information technologies of the instruments for evaluating public innovation policies (iiii).

Concrete is one of the most widely consumed materials in the world. However, its industry faces a number of environmental and energy-related issues. It is well known that the production of cement, the main component of concrete, consumes a great deal of energy and causes many environmental problems, including: the significant consumption of natural resources, the release of dust and certain pollutants, and the significant emission of greenhouse gases. One possible solution is to replace cement with other binders, such as geopolymers. These materials are most often synthesized from a chemical reaction between aluminosilicate powder and an alkaline solution. The binder obtained in this way can guarantee very significant properties and performance. What's more, advances in knowledge about this binder show that it can offer a highly effective and relevant alternative to cement in the manufacture of concrete.

This book constitutes such a sober contribution to the evolution of Congolese nationality law, and at the same time is of significant importance, because it intervenes in a field that has not yet been scientifically explored in the DRC.Its main aim is to challenge the consciences of Congolese on the need to adapt Congolese nationality law to the realities of the day, in order to exfiltrate it from the decalcomania in which it finds itself today. Congolese nationality has been the subject of much debate. The most recent is the one raised by Mr. Noel TSHIANI, who proposed the locking of access to certain high positions, to be reserved only for Congolese fathers and mothers. Proposal contested by another segment of the population.

As I have had the good fortune to be an eyewitness of two very special decades, revolutionary, if you will: the 1960s and the 2010s, it occurs to me that both have in common to represent a kind of preamble or announcement of times of major change, that is, the end of some paradigm or model and the emergence of a new one, perhaps a counter-model, even within the capitalist economic regime itself. Rereading these articles, I discovered a kind of underlying hypothesis that is clear in my final article: the success in the development of a country depends on the right dose of two great instruments: the State and the Market. Each one with its virtues and defects. My experience of almost twenty years living in Denmark, perhaps the most developed country in the world, convinced me of the importance of these two instruments. With the fall of the real socialisms in 1989-1990, the discussion of capitalism versus socialism came to an end. What remains in place, however, is the democratic political regime.

The African states, and the DRC in particular, in their era of democratisation, are trying to configure their institutions to the imperatives of a system that we would like to see under the rule of law. And a democratic system requires a balance between the power of the majority - as opposed to the tyranny of the majority - and respect for fundamental rights. This is why constitutionality review is seen as a means of checks and balances. Because it prevents the tyranny of the majority by Parliament, establishes a real superiority of the constitution and thus leads to a state governed by the rule of law. For it has to be said that "the law (and to a certain extent regulations) can only be considered as an expression of the general will if they respect the constitution". The Constitutional Court, and by ricochet the control of constitutionality, appears then to be the standard of a true democracy. In this book, we have attempted to show what constitutional review has been or is like in the various republics of the DRC, so as to enable each reader to situate the DRC in terms of the rule of law or, better still, democracy.

As the successor to the GATT, the WTO aims to liberalise trade on a global scale. But the WTO's SPS and TBT regimes pose delicate problems of balance when it comes to establishing and implementing trade rules. The fact is that the trade restrictions provided for in certain agreements run the risk of being used for expedient protection purposes. Indeed, the need to combat global warming and protect public health means that governments are resorting to restrictive measures based on the precautionary principle. To what extent does this practice not contradict the objective of the organisation? The answers to this question will be of interest to students and specialists in international trade issues, as well as to the organisation's officials.

In my book, I have tried to present some views of the human body. Not a complete study of it, but some particular fascinating looks that sometimes go unnoticed: a western look (Western Europe), which we are more used to, an oriental look, from the point of view of the Chinese martial art "Ving Tsun" and a look at the Brazilian indigenous dances.

The impact of preventing water pollution on the preservation of biological diversity is clear. Biodiversity depends on good water quality. Just as water forms an ecosystem, so it is on the list of biodiversity. Preserving water quality therefore means helping to preserve biodiversity. Congolese lawmakers have laid down rules to protect water quality and thereby ensure the sustainability of biodiversity. But these rules are not complete. They need to be backed up by implementing measures. Politicians, who are primarily concerned, are invited to take these measures to complete the existing legal arsenal in the field of water and biodiversity, and to allocate substantial human and financial resources. As beneficiaries of water and biodiversity, the public must not only exert pressure on politicians, but also and above all take initiatives through their associations to stem or halt the loss of biodiversity.

The title attributed to this work of the mind derives its importance from the pre-electoral context, in the run-up to the February 25, 2024 Presidential election, which is capturing a lot of attention and pinning many energies on one position or another.In this project-book, we address proposals whose conception (the idea) results from an analysis of situations convertible into thematic axes, with regard to spectacles that go beyond 2024.As advocated in our previous publications, "everything that doesn't stem from digital technology leads to digital technology". A SWOT analysis of the strengths and weaknesses, threats and opportunities, of the components of the "State" system has enabled us to document proposals for strategic activities that create wealth within communities, for communities and by communities.This project-book finds its target in EVERYTHING, because it develops subjects of general interest, which deserve the involvement of everyone in what concerns them, i.e. the running of the city's affairs.Because we'll never succeed as a singleton in a society, this approach draws its strengths from the PESTEL environment.

Study of the epidemiological profile of cases of sexual abuse, in quantitative components, based on the exploitation of victim files received at the centers, and qualitative components, centered on interviews with professionals involved in the care of victims. 78 cases, average age 14 (±7) years, enrolled in French schools (72%), from Dakar (85%), students (61%), under parental supervision (55.1%), less than 4 siblings (59%). The average age of the alleged perpetrators was 29 (±11) years, mostly acquaintances (51%) and/or parents (36%), and 69.23% with undetermined occupations. Sexual abuse, incestuous 18%, was most frequently linked to rape (68%) committed at the place of the alleged perpetrators (37.2%), followed by behavioral disorders (47%), pregnancy (15%), alcoholism and/or running away (12%). According to the professionals, the minors come from disadvantaged neighbourhoods. Judicial preoccupation, the first reaction, delays post-traumatic treatment. Management must include socio-economic development, information, education and communication, as well as prevention and the accessibility of functional structures staffed by motivated professionals who facilitate treatment.

The conservation of biodiversity has become a necessity to the survival of the human being from the perception of the importance of ecosystem services, which contributed to the appreciation of urban ecology, gradually promoting the need for planning and management of green areas. The project aimed to identify and apply effective indicators to verify the condition of biodiversity in the Municipality of Lisbon, create a database enabling the continuity of a line of monitoring studies and implementation of research in areas complementary to the indicators, and the first step towards the goal of increasing the city's biodiversity by 20% by 2020.

COVID-19 is and remains a pandemic to which the scientific world must focus in order to find concrete solutions to provide some relief to the community, which is helplessly subjected to the suffering it engenders,CAP of teachers on COVID-19, the study was carried out with the aim of assessing teachers' level of knowledge of this disease. We conducted a prospective cross-sectional descriptive study with probability sampling, using questionnaires and interviews as our data collection techniques,After investigation, the results show that the teachers do not have a consistent background to give true knowledge about the disease, or that some of them have doubts about it.

Our analysis concerns the liability of the air carrier in the event of damage suffered by a passenger. We try to be as clear as possible so that even laymen in the law, especially those who enjoy air travel, can understand us. Clearly, the importance of air travel is not something to be neglected or removed from our view, but rather reinforced with each passing day, as this importance becomes more visible and more interesting. It means achieving what it set out to do, i.e. arriving at its destination without any incident or accident whatsoever. Death, injury or loss of luggage caused by the carrier, or the carrier's delay in carrying out the transport operation, are facts that may give rise to civil liability. There are still problems in applying the legal rules on compensation for victims of damage suffered in air transport.

The law on the national domain is still the subject of criticism, even if it has become less virulent. We would therefore like to begin with a critical presentation of the current land legislation and question its appropriateness before turning to Law 2011-07 of 30 March 2011 on land ownership. We will then make the case for legal certainty for all in the forthcoming reform, whether urban or rural. A lot of land that has been allocated to "investors" for several years now has never been developed. This is why it is urgent, as the NGO CICODEV AFRICA is calling for, to declare a moratorium on Large-Scale Land Acquisition (L.S.L.A.) until the advent of the reform; to audit the files on land already allocated so that, if necessary, it can be decommissioned and allocated to the farmers who need it or returned to the Rural Councils.

The Italian immigration in the state of Rio Grande do Sul began in 1874, but only in the beginning of 1877 was sent the first expedition of immigrants destined to colonize the nucleus of Silveira Martins, which is known as the Fourth Colony of Italian Immigration in Rio Grande do Sul. The immigrants brought with them all their culture and values which, when arranged, formed the axis of the cultural heritage of immigration: in first place, the family, the second would be the economic and social value, the third, religiosity, and finally, in fourth place, language, because it is language that sustains the cultural identity of a people. The language spoken by immigrants, contrary to what it may seem, was not Italian as we know today, there were several dialects that mixed together to form the Talian language. Since 2009, a law was passed that recognizes this language as historical and cultural heritage of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. So it is necessary that this language remains alive. But where can we store a language, intangible heritage of a people? With this question comes the idea of a museum of the Talian language. The place chosen for the project is the Conjunto Arquitetônico da Pompeia, in Silveira Martins.

"Look at this diagram showing the water cycle in order to understand it" - typical instructions from any science textbook. Yes, but what do you do if you can't see the diagram? Nowadays, and for a very long time, the transmission of knowledge has been essentially based on vision. We refer to this primary sense for absolutely everything. Faced with this situation, the question arises: how can we give visually impaired people access to all this knowledge? This book looks at existing ways of transmitting culture other than through vision. It also looks at the problem of transforming content: how do you give access to content that is originally visual, without transforming the meaning of that content? This is a work in progress. Tactile images, mental representations, audio terminals or even visually impaired, blind or born blind... This book also aims to help people understand the subtleties of visual disability. One of the theses put forward in this book is that facilitating cultural access for a minority makes it easier for everyone.

The present study points out the influences of alcohol on family relationships. This is a qualitative research of exploratory and descriptive nature, carried out with 11 families registered at the Family Health Unit Dr. Aurélio Schiarreta, located in the municipality of Jequié/BA. Taking into account the growing consumption of alcohol by society, understanding how alcohol dependence can affect families is of great value. The reflections obtained from this study demonstrate that alcoholism is a disease that affects not only the alcoholic but also his entire family.

Nephrotic syndrome is a relatively common nephrological pathology in paediatrics. The corticosteroid-sensitive form is frequently diagnosed easily, and generally evolves favorably under well-managed treatment.The challenge lies above all in corticoresistant forms, which frequently progress to chronic end-stage renal failure. Early treatment and management are imperative to ensure favorable short- and medium-term outcomes.

The present work initially provides a review of the scientific literature regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic and society's responses. No effort is spared to exhaust the scientific literature involving databases such as ScienceDirect and PubMed in the construction of this work. Infective endocarditis (IE) is contained in the state of the art of this book, and is also treated from a dental perspective. The book brings summaries of several research studies involving the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on health in different contexts. This book presents a proposal that pushes the boundaries of science through an ecological study involving the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on deaths from infective endocarditis (IE) in Brazil.
