The Comics are a textual genre that attracts children to the universe of reading, given its playful and imagetic character. In this research it is presented as a general objective to reflect on the pedagogical potentialities of the Comics and their contributions in the school context, being used as a didactic resource in the classrooms with students of the Elementary School. Besides, it was extended the research for the field, making a research in loco in the Colégio Evangélico Leôncio José de Santana, where interviews with students and teachers were carried through as well as a didactic project was developed with the objective of observing directly the contributions of the Comics in the classroom. It was concluded that the theme, for being interesting and suggestive of improvements for the teaching of the Portuguese Language and of the other school contents, should still be approached in other academic works, in search of bigger contributions for the teaching and the learning of the contents of the diverse disciplines of the Basic Education.

The book brings the results of the research of the author entitled "Social representations of the course of Pedagogy by the students of the Pedagogy course", which investigated the Social Representations of the pedagogue's field of action elaborated and shared by the students of the Pedagogy course of the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). The theoretical referential of this study was the Theory of Social Representations, in the light of the theories of Moscovici, Jodelet and Abric. The research revealed in these representations the senses and meanings attributed by the students to their formation in the Pedagogy course, their perspectives and professional expectations, the values attributed by the students to the professional activities exercised by the pedagogue. The results pointed to a representation of the field of action of the pedagogue in which two conceptions are articulated: one that gives a sense of amplitude to this object, with possibilities of action in diverse institutional environments; and another linked to the teaching specificity of the pedagogue and action in school environment. The analysis of the internal organization of the constituent elements of the representation allowed us to understand these contradictions.

The book discusses mediation as one of the alternative methods of conflict resolution, under the light of the New Civil Procedure Code of 2015. The work is intended to contribute to the problems of the current judicial system, especially with regard to the slowness of proceedings. Still, this title is intended to contribute to the speed of the judicial system in Brazil, a country still rooted in the culture of litigation, which often ends up happening unnecessarily. Finally, the work seeks to make people understand that before actually going to court, there are other means of conflict resolution that are less costly financially and psychologically.

Beginning our research with a historical overview of the development of the automotive sector in Morocco, we found that vocational training was not a priority for the sector until 2009, the year of the inauguration of the National Pact for Industrial Emergence. On the other hand, thanks to Ibn Tofaïl University's openness to its environment, different training courses in several fields related to the automotive sector are offered to students at Bac +3 or Bac +5 level. What courses does Ibn Tofaïl University offer in the automotive sector? And how closely do these courses match the real needs expressed by those in charge of the sector?

It is true that history is an interpretation of a succession of facts that are linked and unlinked to be reunited in a today with other characters. Thus, the Mexican Revolution is united with the great Zapata, whose legacy is not a letterhead but a reality that time and again, is taken and retaken, to persist in the libertarian transformation of the peoples. The historical, then, is the dialectic that forms and transforms the scenarios of the being that beats and fights for manumission. The great Karl Marx dismantled the "predestination" that Calvin intended to impose as a "sacred" secret to pecuniary exploitation.

The third presidential term has revealed the true nature of the Burundian regime. In order to gain access to an unconstitutional third term, President Pierre Nkurunziza, who was sentenced to death in absentia during the civil war that claimed the lives of more than 300,000 Burundians between 1993 and 2003, organises, coordinates and finances crimes against humanity against his opponents. He rejects out of hand any call for a peaceful resolution to the conflict. Often presenting himself as a messianic president and adopting a vulgar populism, the world discovered the true nature of Pierre Nkurunziza's regime during his third term in office. The author deciphers governance under Pierre Nkurunziza and shows that, from the outset, his regime bore within itself the seeds of the country's destruction.

Governments have become increasingly concerned about their financial situation, as it is a corollary of sovereignty. They are also aware that any financial or economic disruption will directly affect social peace. It is therefore vital for a state to think about the sustainability of its finances, bearing in mind that sustainability is not a one-size-fits-all concept, but evolves according to choices, capacity and resilience. This book is an attempt to identify the parameters for configuring genuine sustainability of public finances. A firm, "new" answer to these historic questions for Tunisian public finances was not possible, especially given the multiple endogenous and exogenous constraints that remain evolving and sometimes unpredictable.

Demonstrative and comparative report of how the news about the First World War were presented in the periodicals A Guerra, Correio do Povo and A Federação, between the months of November 1914 and February 1915. After all, it was spread in society a certain fear, due to the myth of the "German danger", so it became important to verify how the news about the conflict that involved the powers of that time, among them Germany, were broadcast. Also why the League of Germanic Societies of Porto Alegre placed itself as a diffuser of another version of the facts, claiming to rebut and clarify the information disseminated in other publications.

In our study, we assessed sexual function in patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSA). Our study was cross-sectional, descriptive and case-control analytic, involving OSA patients recruited from a sleep unit. We used the Epworth Sleepiness Scale, the International Index of Erectile Function Scale, the Female Sexual Function Index Scale, the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale and the Sexual Satisfaction Index to assess daytime sleepiness, sexual function, anxiety and depressive symptoms and sexual satisfaction respectively. The prevalence of sexual dysfunction (SD) was 56.5% in men and 71.4% in women. Patients presented anxious symptomatology in 36.4% and depressive symptomatology in 29.5%. Compared with controls, SD was more frequent, and the mean marital sexual dissatisfaction score was significantly higher in patients. Hence the importance of assessing sexual function in these patients in order to improve their quality of life.

This book analyses the dynamics of the informal economy in West Africa. It analyses issues relating to its scale, its dualism (dynamic and evolving economy/static and survival economy) and the dilemma concerning its prospects for development (what type of formalisation?). While the subject matter of this book falls within the fields of economics and politics, it is also rooted in the field of management science, in that it adopts an approach centred on economic actors. The epistemological approach applied is plural in nature insofar as it uses the three main paradigms in the field, namely the positivist, interpretativist and constructivist paradigms. From a methodological point of view, the research approach is based on facts established by observation (state of the art on the informal economy), as well as on 'field research'. The book also sought to demonstrate that the informal economy is far from homogenous.

Alkaline basalts encrust enclaves of peridotites, most of which are spinel lherzolites. They have been discovered on the Adamaoua plateaux and in the Liri region (south of the Kapsiki plateau). The basalts have a porphyritic microlitic texture and the enclaves have a protogranular texture, consisting of olivine, orthopyroxene, clinopyroxene and spinel crystals. The forsterite (Fo89-91) and NiO (0.30-0.44) contents in olivine crystals, the Mg# (¿ 94) number of orthopyroxene and the low titanium contents in clinopyroxene (TiO2 < 0.9) and spinel crystals (TiO2 < 0, 5 %) are within the range of values reported for the peridotites of the "Cameroon Volcanic Line", indicating that the peridotites of the Liri and Adamaoua region represent the residues of partial melting of the primitive mantle. The host basalt (Liri) has a porphyritic microlitic texture with phenocrysts of olivine, clinopyroxene and microlites of plagioclase, ilmenite and titanomagnetite. The equilibrium temperature for the Liri samples varies between 842 - 1136°C and 825 - 1245°C for those from the Adamaoua Plateau.

This essay consists of some reflections on the unconscious aspects or dimensions of the human mind, on psychological health in relation to psychoanalysis and tries to explain how psychoanalysis can efficiently and consistently improve the dynamic indices of health, with clinical evidence. It can be considered that a book that deals with "how" to do something is a book of technique and therefore this is a book of Psychoanalytic Technique, which will be useful for students of psychology, medicine and psychoanalysis, for health professionals of any specialty and for all people who are interested in knowing themselves better and improving their personality and their psychological health with psychoanalysis. It is necessary to clarify that this is not a book of "self-help", on the contrary. It tries to explain why, in this case, self-help is useless. It would be like trying to look in the mirror without a mirror, and why in most thought processes, perceptions, sensations, emotions, motivations, evaluations, as well as automatisms, routines, musical, artistic, even in the writing of computer programs, we act unconsciously.

This study aimed to compare the effects of ten weeks of circuit training or walking in obese or overweight women, on their body composition and physical conditioning. The volunteers were divided into two groups, one circuit group and the other walking, and the inclusion criteria were age between 30 and 40 years old, and BMI between 30 and 40. The training lasted one hour a day, three times a week, and the diet was low in calories. Physical tests of muscle endurance, flexibility, Vo2 max, strength tests, anthropometric measurements, skinfolds, weight, and height were also applied. The comparison of the pre and post-intervention test results showed a significant reduction in weight, body fat percentage, and maintenance of lean body mass in both groups. The circuit had improved its results in three of the six tests and the walk had also improved in three. The body composition was similar in both groups, but the circuit group showed a better physical performance, reducing the risk factor for arteriocoronary diseases associated with low physical fitness.

The use of coercion by parents to control their children's behaviour has been investigated by several researchers due to its negative consequences for child development. Among the various factors indicated by research as determinants of parental coercion, socioeconomic status has been considered an important factor in understanding this phenomenon. However, while in some studies it appears as the main variable determining the use of more or less appropriate practices, in others its function is questioned, and no direct relationships are found between socioeconomic level and the use of coercion by parents. Furthermore, several studies point out that beliefs about the legitimacy and efficacy of coercion in controlling child behaviour are fundamental to understanding coercive parental practices. This study aimed to compare the use of coercive practices and beliefs about coercion of mothers of different socioeconomic levels.

In recent years, the field of information technology has been steadily gaining momentum. Today, there's no field that doesn't make use of this modern technology, which is an indispensable tool for a wide range of activities, including management, telecommunications, computer graphics and multimedia. It also enables a wide range of exchanges: cultural, social, even information sharing. This information can take many forms: oral, written, gestural, sound, tactile, pictorial, etc. (natural information). In the field of information technology, it forms the very basis, as computer science itself is defined as "the science of automatic information processing". The information processed in IT is referred to as data, a grouping of information structured and organized according to a certain logic in the IT tool that is the computer, allowing it to be modified, consulted or even deleted.

Healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) represent a major problem for patient safety. Their prevention is fundamentally based on standard hospital hygiene precautions. Training in these precautions is the cornerstone of all HCAI prevention and control programs. Medical simulation is a teaching method used for training, training evaluation and risk management. It facilitates the anchoring of knowledge and the acquisition of individual and collective safety reflexes. Simulation in the form of a "room of errors" (ROE) aims to provide warning signals by showing the pitfalls to be avoided, in order to reduce undesirable events and promote vigilance in the face of errors. By adopting a risk management approach, CDE enables learners to better learn and memorize simulated events. This could improve the training of health science students in the prevention of healthcare-associated infectious risks.

The Sovereignty of God, far from being a trial against the creator of the universe, is an analysis of the multi-system and complex God whose way of acting and operating in the lives of human beings is beyond anyone's comprehension. He is the one who can decide to grant grace to the Apostle Paul, transforming him from a criminal into a fervent servant of God. He can decide against all human logic to grant grace to the thief on the cross who finds himself in paradise with Jesus for the simple reason that he repented at the last minute of his life. God confirms his sovereignty by striking down Uzza, who dies instantly, and Anania and his wife Saphira suffer the same fate. Finally, he chose Mary to be the mother of Jesus from among all the virgins in his land, without the consent of Joseph, her fiancé. In this book you will come across dozens of facts and situations from the Bible where God exercises his sovereignty. Enjoy this other critical reading of sovereignty.

Public medicine as an institution in the 21st century must be understood in terms of the principles and actualizations of biological theory, which constitutes its epistemic foundation. In other words, from the way we understand life, we need to understand its politicization and stateization: the biopolitics of population. After and with the "molecular revolution" of the twentieth century, the process of "molecularization" of biology was consolidated [Morange, 1994: 6-8], and successfully extrapolated to the field of medicine. This opened the gap between molecular medicine and conventional medicine, insofar as the former defines pathologies in a "genotypic-deductive" way, while the latter is above all "phenotypic-inductive". Molecularization" and "geo-netization" bring about a division at the heart of techniques, epistemic principles and diagnostic methods at the core of medicine, which forms the basis of the emergence of ethics committees in public health, a manifest form of the new characterization of genetic biopolitics.

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is defined as a metabolic disease of multiple etiology characterized by a state of chronic hyperglycemia that, if not properly controlled, evolves with serious complications (ARAÚJO, 2013-2014). It results from defects in insulin secretion, the inability of insulin to exert its effects or both factors (ANGELO et al, 2010). Diabetes mellitus is on the rise both due to population growth and ageing, and the increased prevalence of obesity and sedentary lifestyle (BONA et al, 2010). In Brazil, it is estimated that the prevalence of DM in the Brazilian population reaches 7.6% in the age group between 30 and 69 years. Approximately half of the patients are unaware of the diagnosis and 25% of the patients who know they have the disease do not undergo any type of treatment (ROCHA et al., 2002).

This study is about the integration of animal ethics in the luxury goods industry in 2017. In haute couture, it is common for major brands to work with animal skins for leather goods or accessories. Consumers only see part of this world through the advertising campaigns that make them dream, but they don't really know how these products are made, or the suffering that may lie behind them. The aim of this manuscript is to demonstrate the condition of animals on farms and to describe the different techniques used to obtain fur and leather. She will briefly compare the haute couture industry with the luxury food industry, and will also point out the companies that are suspected of not respecting animal ethics as well as those that are exemplary on this subject. We will also discover the materials that can replace leather or fur and save the lives of millions of animals every year.

Import substitution is one of the key development priorities of the Republic of Belarus in the near future. Back in December 2021, the Belarusian government defined strategic areas of work and developed specific tasks in this direction. These are the use of opportunities of such integration formations as the Eurasian Economic Union, increase of localization in conjunction with support measures, implementation of sectoral import substitution programs, development of cooperation both within the republic and with friendly countries, use of local raw materials, active involvement of scientific developments in the real sector of the economy. In late December 2022 at the meeting of the Presidium of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus it was noted that in 2023 import substitution will become an even more effective driver of Belarusian industrial production, where special attention will be paid to increasing localization. Interesting experience in this context has already been accumulated in a number of Belarusian regions. In particular, in recent years, enterprises in the Brest, Gomel and Mogilev regions have set up systematic work to master the production of import-substituting products. This is discussed in this proposed study.

The aim of this doctoral research is to critically reflect upon and to make visible the manifold manifestations that are part of the field of improvisatory praxis in dance: techniques and technologies, in/outdoor laboratories, authorial research, somatic approaches, poetics of movement, scenic productions of artist collectives. Starting from the initial question: "Is improvisation (in contemporary dance) or does it operate as a language?", the general course of writing revisits the question of the principles/properties that prefigure a grammatical syntax of improvisation - a dynamic language that is always tied to its own praxis. In successive unfoldings, the multi-disciplinary relations with the other temporal arts (music and theatre), the domain of the ludic, the performative staging and the somotomotor-sensorial (aethic) readings linked to the role of the observer are revisited. The tone that guides the research is close to that of a literary essay, and was structured as a hypertext whose corpus is composed of three chapters and two audiovisual documentaries. Photographs and links from the computer network are added to the writing.

In my book entitled "LA CPI FACE A LA TRAGEDIE CONGOLAISE", I describe the serious crimes committed in the DRC from 1996 to 2018: the crime of aggression, war crimes, crimes against humanity, the crime of genocide, atrocities, mutilations, the burial of women alive, massive massacres, the burial of victims in mass graves, torture, the burning of villages, the forced displacement of several thousand people fleeing death, insecurity, fighting, sexual violence... And I place the ICC face to face with this tragedy. In this book, I explain in detail why I wrote the above-mentioned book, and why I contacted the ICC Prosecutor. My Book is a symbol, an emblem that reveals the tenacious presence, in the DRC, of the ever-lit Flame of the Fight for the triumph of the noble and just Cause of our Homeland and our People, despite all the vicissitudes. It is in tragedies that men stand out in whom there is more to admire than to despise; in storms, the best pilots; in hurricanes, the best sailors; in the face of challenges, the best leaders.

This book is our contribution both to the adventure of the ethnography of education and to our African perspective on this issue with its colonialist past. It provides a synthesis of the authors of ethnography of education, which is both complete and clearly presented, with the aim of establishing on a scientific level an approach that is little recognised in educational research, but which we consider to be very important for a detailed understanding of educational phenomena through an overview of successive educational policies and the state of research in this field. He identifies the difficulties of being an ethnographer in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in particular that of being taken "for an enemy or a whistleblower", because the "ethnographers from the inside" perceive in advance the stakes of the situations studied, in particular the political and economic instability and the state of mistrust of the players. The description of the teachers' 'survival strategies', of their lives as 'teachers' in the fields, and of the pupils' strategies are very much in line with the themes currently being raised by various works and studies in the field of ethnography.
