The study of two species of corojo in Sierra de Cubitas, Camagüey, Cuba, is carried out with the objective of inserting them in a sustainable agricultural system. The ecological feasibility of the use of wild populations east and west of the Vilató Valley is highlighted, standing out the areas of Algibito, Brigadier and others. The oil is used in the manufacture of soaps and cosmetics, as well as by-products such as textile fibers, bleaches, cleaners and fertilizers.

This case was one of worldwide recognition because of the barbarities that were taking place in that prison and to which no international support entity could provide a solution due to the political or governmental irregularities under which the country where it was located: Cuba, was governed. Many external actors tried to demonstrate that the prison subjugation was not approved and the violation of human rights was a key factor for its closure.

The Police Nationale Congolaise is an instrument set up by the State to combat crime. In Congolese legal parlance, these are acts likely to disturb public order. Among the human activities that undermine public order and therefore require the intervention of the Police, we should mention offences committed through cyberspace. These are new offences whose repression requires human, financial and material resources, as well as expertise. In the Democratic Republic of Congo, the police seem to be more involved in traditional offences, which are largely unaware of the virtual dimension. Admittedly, some progress has been made, but it remains far below the stakes and challenges associated with this transformation. This diagnosis has prompted this study, which aims not only to examine the efforts made by the Congolese State in this field, but also and above all the immense constraint that calls for corrective measures to deal with it effectively.

The present work is a contribution to the study of marital conflicts in northern Benin. It involved a study of 200 individuals surveyed in the commune of Parakou. The frequency of marital conflicts was: 2.5% for occasional conflicts; 26.5% for regular conflicts and 1% for daily conflicts. Marital conflicts were more common among women (54%) than men (46%). These conflicts had multiple origins: 44% of individuals had marital conflicts; the most frequently encountered causes were child-related issues, financial management, everyday life and telephone use. The repercussions of these conflicts on mental health were anxiety disorders, followed by depressive disorders, sexual disorders and finally alcohol abuse and dependence. Solutions included dialogue, followed by help from parents, friends and prayer. Crises within couples are on the increase, and deserve to be dealt with within family mediation structures to preserve the health of both parents and children.

This book was born as an answer given at a time of business crisis where I wondered what a company must have to survive the different inclemencies that can be generated in the market, pandemics, stock market crashes, lack of resources, few customers, etc. In order to know what a company must have in order to live on the edge of chaos, an organizational research was carried out to understand how a company must be conformed to be adaptive and have the capacity to survive the different uncertainties and hazards to which it may be exposed. The purpose of this book is not to motivate the creation of companies or to give false motivations that seek to trigger the creation of companies in an illusory way. What is intended with this book is to be able to make a clear delivery from the sciences of complexity that have always taken uncertainty and chance into account, of how an organization should be consolidated regardless of whether it is a company, a system, a structure, a country, a society, etc.

The inerme cactus has been planted for fodder purposes on several tens of thousands of hectares in central Tunisia. These plantings are largely the result of government encouragement, incentives and achievements. Studies on the development of this species worldwide have made it the "miracle" shrub. Its development in central Tunisia is an immediate obligation, given its total integration into all the region's production systems. A study of the biochemical composition of the various extracts from OFI snowshoes (powder or gel) and fruits showed the presence of high levels of secondary metabolites (total phenols, flavonoids and tannins). These extracts may therefore be effective in inhibiting the development of pathogenic microorganisms or the growth of certain plants. According to the DPPH method, they also have significant antioxidant activity. Our experiments have also shown that mucilage can be used as natural, biodegradable coagulants in water treatment, with a view to reducing the use of chemicals.

Bone scintigraphy with 99mTc-HMDP is a routine examination for the detection of bone metastases. The protocol involves a planar whole-body scan with few anatomical landmarks, hence the use of hybrid imaging, particularly in cases of indeterminate focus. However, the addition of computed tomography (CT) increases patient irradiation. The aim of this study was to assess the additional effective dose delivered by CT in an adult oncology population of 43 patients. We calculated the effective whole-body doses from scintigraphy and CT, which averaged 4.22 mSv and 3.07 mSv respectively. The mean total effective dose was 7.29 mSv below diagnostic reference levels, but exceeded in 12 patients. The percentage of effective dose from CT to total dose delivered by hybrid imaging ranged from 9.06 to 64.95%, with a mean of 39.72%. The ratio was higher for the abdominal-pelvic region (45.68%) than for the thoracic region (39.97%). This dose is not negligible. However, when the benefits of hybrid imaging are taken into account, the extra radiation is still justifiable.

The purpose of this research was to promote activities on neuromanagement as a tool for change to strengthen organizational performance in primary education in the Cecilio Acosta Educational Unit. It is part of the educational management research line of the Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador. It has a qualitative approach, framed in the Sociocritical paradigm, under the participatory action research methodology. The key informants were five (5) social actors of the institution object of this study, two (02) directors and three (03) teachers, which were selected intentionally who provided information through the technique of participant observation, interview; which allowed both the processing and interpretation of the information, the process of contracting, triangulation and categorization was used. Finally the final reflections according to the findings important to highlight the transforming potential of neuromanagement as a tool for change to strengthen organizational performance, in these new paradigmatic changes.

The growing gap between practitioners and patients is not only explained by the disparity of language practices used in their exchanges. Several contextual parameters can constitute a handicap to interactive communication. The hospital context is characterized by an elitist mode of operation, with no room for the layman. An excessive influence of the face, divergent conceptions of the time factor and a partial management of the turns of speech during the patient-practitioner meeting are all concrete manifestations showing that it is not only language that comes into play in the process of intercomprehension. Following the logic developed in this book, it becomes clear that an edifying therapeutic relationship presupposes a communion of the modes of expression, attitudes and representations of the actors involved in the practitioner-patient communication.

This study focuses on the profitability of sesame cultivation in the Kimpemba group, Madimba territory in the province of Central Kongo. To achieve this, we used documentary analysis methods supported by a survey using a questionnaire to collect quantitative and qualitative data from a sample of 35 sesame growers. After analysing the data collected, the results obtained reveal the following: Sesame cultivation shows low profitability (3.15%) under current conditions in the villages of the Kimpemba group. This is due to the small areas planted by producers and the costs incurred, particularly the variable costs. The profitability estimate shows that this crop generates low income with a net margin of 11,394.13Fc for an average area of 53 hectares. The cost of sesame production is 360,990.77Fc, which is fully covered by the turnover of 372,384.9Fc. Average productivity for Kimpemba producers is 433.71kg on an average area of 53 hectares.

Abbé Eugène Haler'Immana, a priest of the diocese of Goma, was born in Masisi, North Kivu, DR Congo, on 13 August 1970. The title "Beyond the mountains of Masisi" shows how much he suffers for the future of his village, his native land.Thanks to active and evangelical non-violence, he is aware that peace will come to Masisi sooner or later. Yesterday the people of Masisi said: "Masisi green zone, come and see". Today: "Masisi red zone, come and loot". The young people of Masisi are killing each other because of ethnic ideologies.They are committing suicide for the sake of democracy, yet they can transform their conflicts by sitting down to negotiate. Even if there are conflicts, you have to go "beyond Masisi", think with vision, beyond your nose. His 'historoman' recounts the ordeal of the whole of eastern Congo, which does not want its history to be erased forever.

Among the abilities that enable human beings to form themselves integrally are their understanding of reality and their adaptation to this reality in order to transform it; but for these actions to be carried out, the application of cognitive processes is necessary. In this context, the aim of this study was to establish critical reading as a mechanism that enables B2 students to develop their intellectual abilities and at the same time enrich their communicative competence. The instruments used for data collection included direct and participant observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, notes and workshops. The information was analysed using the inductive technique, with the following results: the cognitive processes most involved in critical reading, the means or strategies used by students to arrive at an in-depth analysis of the text and the benefits of reading directed towards critical thinking.

Orthodontic diagnosis is based on cephalometric analysis. Initially, this analysis was performed manually, until digital programmes for cephalometric analysis were introduced. Purpose: The aim of this study was to compare the manually plotted results with those plotted digitally and to test the reliability of the digital system. Materials and methods: The study was carried out using a universe of 70 cephalometric tracings belonging to patients from the UCSG orthodontic clinic in semester A-2015. Two types of diagnosis were analysed: skeletal class by means of Wits, Steiner and Ricketts' facial convexity analysis; and facial growth by means of Ricketts' compressed analysis.

The population growth observed in the commune of Lokossa in recent years has not always been followed by effective sanitation measures. The aim of this study is to examine rainwater and wastewater sanitation infrastructure in the commune of Lokossa in relation to population growth. The methodological approach used includes data collection, processing and analysis of the results based on the PEIR model. The results show that the rate at which hygiene and sanitation infrastructure is being installed in Lokossa is not keeping pace with population growth. The population rose from 3,4959 in 1979 to 5,460 in 1992, then to 77,065 in 2002 and 1,044,28 in 2013. The measures taken by the population to deal with this problem are purely traditional, and the authorities are making little effort to improve the situation. To remedy the situation, there needs to be real awareness among the population and the implementation of preventive and forward-looking measures by the authorities.

The High Atlas of Marrakech is a geographical area made up of the N'Fis, Gheraya, Ourika, Zat and Ghdat catchment areas. These catchment areas are located on the northern flank of the High Atlas mountain range. They are therefore exposed to disturbed oceanic flows from the north and north-west. These flows follow the slopes and condense easily on the high relief of the basins. The latter are also characterised by low permeability bedrock, high slopes and a well-branched hydrographic network. These morphological and climatic conditions favour high rainfall and violent floods. This work is devoted to the GIREPSE project to develop efficient and equitable responses to minimise climate risks, improve the hydro-ecological system and enhance the value of environmental goods and services. Rainfall simulation tests were carried out in the Oualmas catchment using the simulation method of Roose, 1996.

During the first period of transition (14 January to 23 October 2011), the Tunisian administration underwent many institutional and functional changes. In this book, the author describes these changes and gives his position and assessment of the Administration during this period. At institutional level, the changes that the Administration has undergone are at central as well as local and regional level. In terms of functions, the Administration has embarked on a process of transitional justice in order to read the page of the dictatorship before turning it.

This research project aims to initiate a prevention programme for pregnant women from 28 weeks, who attend their prenatal check-up at the Guano Health Centre in the period April 2012-2013. This is a descriptive, prospective, cross-sectional study. The obstetric psychoprophylaxis programme will include: Preparation for childbirth; obstetric physiotherapy exercise routines; body and mental relaxation; breathing techniques; advice on nutrition, breastfeeding and newborn care; care and recommendations for a healthy pregnancy, with the aim of increasing the number of prenatal check-ups in pregnant women and reducing obstetric complications triggered by ignorance of the physiological changes of pregnancy.

Factors leading to vestibular disorders (stress, ecological problems, traumatism, growth of cardiovascular system and diabetes mellitus, etc.) are constantly increasing, so doctors of various specialties are increasingly faced with patients suffering from dizziness. A variety of reasons, at which disorders of vestibular analyzer functions arise, a variety of manifestations of vestibular disorders causes certain difficulties in their correct and timely diagnostics.The etiology, pathogenesis, modern methods of diagnostics and treatment of patients with chronic inflammatory ear diseases are analyzed in the monograph, the algorithm of diagnostics and treatment of chronic inflammatory ear diseases is developed and recommendations for doctors are given.This monograph is intended for masters of otorhinolaryngology, clinical residents and doctors of otorhinolaryngology.
