The aim of this study is to improve potato crop yields in the Loukkos region, which is characterised by nutrient-poor soil, through a trial designed to study the crop's response to different doses of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilisers, and to rationalise the use of these nutrients (N, P, K) on potato crops while maintaining good plant mycorrhisation in order to obtain all the benefits of this association. We studied the effect of 32 fertilisation treatments (N and P), applied at different stages of potato development, on mycorrhizal load. The yield and grading of harvested potato tubers were the two main parameters used to assess the crop's response to fertilisation. The results show that the X2 nitrogen, X3 phosphorus and X2 potassium (2 3 2) treatments produced the highest yields while maintaining good plant mycorrhization.

Like other physiological systems, the development, structure and function of the vascular system are under the control of multiple nuclear receptors. However, very few studies have been carried out on the involvement of orphan nuclear receptors in the vascular system.The aim of this work was to study the expression and regulation of ROR¿, which belongs to this superfamily of orphan nuclear receptors, in vascular cells and whole vessels, and then to highlight some of its functional roles in the vascular system.The present work provides for the first time new data on the vascular phenotype of staggerer mice with a mutation in ROR¿. In particular, we have demonstrated that ROR¿ plays an important role in blood pressure control and is involved in post-ischemic angiogenesis.

Sometimes described as a revolution, sometimes as an epiphenomenon, Blockchain is a technology that is gradually gaining maturity, enabling it to be used on an industrial scale. Cyber threats continue to evolve rapidly around the world, with the number of data breaches increasing every year. A report from Risk Based Security revealed that a staggering 7.9 billion pieces of data were exposed in the first nine months of 2019 alone. This is more than double (112%) the amount of data exposed during the same period in 2018.Problems frequently encountered in cybersecurity are linked to confidentiality. So our aim is to propose a mechanism that guarantees confidentiality in cybersecurity by implementing a customized Blockchain in a virtual environment using local multichains.

Dealing with eating disorders is not always an easy task. It requires a great deal of kindness, non-judgement, patience and emotional restraint. Above all, it is essential to define these objectives correctly. Indeed, to think of eliminating thoughts and cravings for food seems unattainable to me, and yet this is often what patients expect from their therapist. When I start therapy, I always make it clear that the aim is not to stop having cravings but to learn to manage them, the aim being to learn to stop eating one's emotions. This article highlights the different reactions and reactions of a patient to cognitive behavioural therapy treatment for her eating disorder following a bariatric operation. It highlights the successive stages of this work, the tools used and some ideas for exercises to be used.

ANJE practices vary according to culture and region, and evolve over time. Work assessing the relationship with children's nutritional status has been carried out using scores rating good ANJE practices such as breastfeeding, meal diversity and meal frequency. The aim of this study was to analyze factors associated with the practice of complementary feeding through data from the DHS 2018. This was a cross-sectional survey of 2163 children aged 6 to 24 months living in urban and rural areas, whose parents were asked about their children's complementary feeding practices. The DHS 2018 base was used for secondary analysis. The practice of dietary diversification is a component of complementary feeding and was retained as the dependent variable. The other variables were considered as the independent ones. Our results clearly show that a large proportion of children under the age of 2 miss out on one of the key indicators in feeding practice, namely minimum dietary diversity.

ICT in Geography classes This book aims to present a research conducted in a technical school of Minas Gerais, about how students see the use of Digital Technologies of Information and Communication in the classroom by teachers. Given the relevance of the use of ICT by students in the current generation, I tried to indicate some software and its application for education, in an attempt to improve the mediation of knowledge of Geography between peers and teacher - student, student - teacher.

Any reflection on man and his relationships in society has a universal dimension, a universal vocation and universalist pretensions. The right to education is a fundamental right enshrined in Article 26 of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and Articles 13 and 14 of the 1966 International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR), as well as in regional and specific human rights conventions. However, although formally enshrined, the right to education is sometimes violated, notwithstanding the contribution of the United Nations and its specialised organisations to ensuring education for all. There is no doubt that the programmatic nature of this right, which is defended by some writers in order to refute its justiciability, constitutes a limit to its universalism. The movement towards justiciability observed in decisions handed down by national, regional and international judicial bodies and quasi-judicial bodies gives reason to hope that the universalism of the right to education is not a pipe dream.

This book is a collection of diverse themes touching on several aspects of the reality of African countries in general and Mali in particular. It is intended as an invitation to reflection and debate, without claiming to contain the absolute truth. My hope is that it will effectively awaken people's consciences and raise questions about certain attitudes and practices of Africans that are highly detrimental to the harmonious development of their countries and hinder their march towards progress. In this respect, the book is a wake-up call. It is often useful to question things that we take for granted. Much has been said about the causes of Africa's lagging development, especially in French-speaking countries. But in many cases, certain deep-seated reasons are ignored or concealed to such an extent that it is useful to bring them to light with courage and realism, even if this should disturb and upset some people. My hope is also that this book will offer other perspectives for analysis, different from the clichés most often accepted as self-evident by many.

This paper provides an analysis of foreign exchange risk management practices based on a sample of 150 Moroccan companies. These analyses are therefore based on observed, collected and measured facts about practices, methods and means used to hedge against foreign exchange risk.

This book is based on legislation from over 34 African countries. For more than a decade, African governments have been introducing legislation to protect the environment and promote the sustainable management of their forests. Most of these laws relate to the conservation of biological diversity. Thanks to these laws, projects have been set up to protect forest areas that are relatively small in size, but of undeniable importance in maintaining the diversity of forest species and ecosystems. Some of these projects aim to define, inventory and promote the conservation of "exceptional forest ecosystems". These include "rare forests", "ancient forests" and "refuge forests for threatened or vulnerable species". Other projects aim to locate forest environments which, while not necessarily deserving to be classified as "exceptional forest ecosystems", are used by threatened or vulnerable species and therefore require adapted forestry practices.

Bituminous pavements require considerable financial resources, as does their maintenance. Many of the world's countries, particularly those in the Third World, are faced with economic difficulties that make it impossible for them to maintain their pavements in good time, or to build a new pavement in the event of major deterioration. The study carried out in this document is based on the cracks that threaten bituminous pavements, with the aim of diagnosing all the probable causes of these cracks and proposing technical rehabilitation solutions to ensure the comfort and safety of users. This work is divided into two parts, the first of which is devoted to a bibliographical study of the various degradations of bituminous pavements, followed by an in-depth study of the cracks in bituminous pavements and the solutions envisaged for treating them. The second part begins with an overview of the new techniques for preventing the re-emergence of cracks as an excellent solution for preventing the propagation of cracks.

This book presents an analysis of oil-rich countries in the ECCAS zone (Economic and Monetary Community of Central African States) over the period from 1996 to 2015 with the aim of identifying the nature of the empirical relationship between oil rent, economic growth and institutional quality. To this end, we highlight the effects of oil rent and institutional quality on growth in ECCAS countries. The estimation of panel fixed-effect models has enabled us to highlight a positive direct effect of oil rent on growth; moreover, the existence of a non-linear relationship between rent and growth has been demonstrated. We were also able to highlight the key role of institutional quality for growth in the ECCAS countries.

So the advent of Digital Terrestrial Television predicted a boom in telecommunications, even though local television programmes were becoming boring for viewers. In 2012, with DSTV, SOLAR... these package subscription TV channels were becoming firmly established in Lubumbashi, not only for the wealthy but even for the lower classes, even though they were in the minority. What we predicted in 2012 for our work at the end of the cycle was fulfilled in 2015 with the arrival of CANAL PLUS in Katanga, and today more than one house has bouquet television, even to the detriment of its economy...

The protection of humanitarians and journalists in conflict zonesHumanitarians and journalists are field workers who are mobilised whenever armed conflicts break out and populations are, unfortunately, left to fend for themselves. The specific nature of their missions and the dangerous nature of the areas in which they work have given them greater importance in international law. It is for this reason that international law has developed a framework for the legal protection of humanitarian aid workers and journalists, in particular through two of its branches, international humanitarian law and international criminal law. The result is protection through the binding texts of international humanitarian law, as well as protection through the judicial repression of violations of these texts thanks to the rules of international criminal law. On paper, this is a perfect balance, but the courts are slow to apply it, mainly because of a lack of attention or even interest in the legal protection of humanitarian aid workers and journalists.

With the end of the civil war and the advent of peace in 1992, Mozambique experienced a boom in natural resources, with a focus on coal, together with the discovery of natural gas deposits in the Rovuma basin. The existence of these resources triggered the interest of transnational mining and oil companies, factors that increased expectations of the country's material growth. The exploitation of these resources led to the relocation of families who lived in the coal production areas to the localities of Cateme and Mualadzi, in Moatize, carried out by Vale, Riversdale and Rio Tinto. The resettlement process, which is causing a stir among human rights watchdogs and the companies mentioned above, was marked by serious irregularities that violate the Constitution of the Republic of Mozambique and human rights, particularly those of the affected populations.

Tuberculosis is a chronic, contagious infectious disease caused by the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex, and represents a major public health problem. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), in 2019, 10 million people contracted tuberculosis and 1.4 million died from it. It is one of the top 10 causes of death worldwide, and the leading cause of death due to a single infectious agent. One of the main factors fuelling the TB epidemic is the emergence and spread of drug-resistant strains of MTB.In 2020, Mali, a large country with limited resources, recorded 6,922 incident cases of tuberculosis, including 22 MDR-TB patients, for an incidence of 53 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. WHO estimates that around 1% of new TB patients and 14% of previously treated patients in Mali have MDR-TB.In view of all these factors, the aim of this thesis is to study the susceptibility of Mycobacterium tuberculosis to anti-tuberculosis drugs in people who have never undergone anti-tuberculosis treatment.

Individual performance at work, the keystone of organizations, conditions their existence, their growth and their durability. In search of a global performance that goes beyond the strict domain of the task, the empowerment of individuals and teams is studied and applied. Our work examines the impact of empowering leadership on overall individual performance at work in four dimensions: task performance, contextual performance, adaptive performance and deviance. Moreover, in a context of empowerment and individual responsibility, the study of the effects of empowerment on individual performance must not be done independently of the worker's individual and personal variables, particularly intrinsic motivation. After identifying the key concepts of the study, namely empowerment and individual performance at work and intrinsic motivation, the study of the links between empowerment, performance and intrinsic motivation enabled us to develop hypotheses and present a conceptual model for theoretical research.

This study focuses on organisational citizenship behaviours, a relatively recent concept in organisational behaviour research. These behaviours are defined as "discretionary behaviours that are not directly and explicitly recognised by the formal reward system, but whose accumulation contributes to the efficient and effective functioning of the organisation". The aim of this work is to understand the influence of job satisfaction factors (intrinsic and extrinsic) on organisational citizenship behaviours oriented towards the organisation and the individual, but also the weight of these factors on these behaviours. The study was conducted on 116 female employees in various public and private organisations in Haiti. The results showed that intrinsic satisfaction is a very good predictor of organisational citizenship behaviour. It influences organisational citizenship behaviour towards the organisation and also towards the individual; extrinsic satisfaction influences organisational citizenship behaviour towards the organisation only.

Young couples are victims of their social environment. Instead of accompanying them in the new adventure, in-laws, friends and colleagues make their experiences schools that the spouses try to experiment with, unaware that the actors are not the same. Unfortunately, in the absence of a binding social and legal framework, the adventure comes to an abrupt halt without one caring about the impact on the offspring.

The recurrence of employee suicides caused by stress has highlighted important questions about current management methods. The link between suicide and work remains unclear. However, a general consensus seems to be emerging around this debate. In less than half a century, there has been an explosion in the number of articles devoted to the phenomenon of stress at work in the professional press, as well as investigations and reports, all of which testify to a general awareness. The rapidly changing world of work is said to be the source of a new stress, more deadly than ever before. The seriousness of the phenomenon has prompted us to take a closer look at this risk in the workplace and its repercussions on the individual. More specifically, we are going to look at stress factors and examine a potential determinant of stress: the imbalance between effort and reward (Siegrist, 1996).

The fast-changing context, characterized by various important economic and regulatory changes, highlights the importance of financial and strategic diagnostics aimed at determining the financial health of the company through the calculation of a certain number of technical and financial ratios, in order to guarantee the company's sustainability and improve its position in relation to competitors. Given the economic and financial importance of insurance companies, as well as their technical, accounting and financial specificities, the aim of this modest work is to study the insurance sector in Morocco and to understand the importance of strategic and financial diagnosis, illustrated by a case study of a Moroccan insurance company.

This book has for research framework the Gabonese hospital environment and for study population the technicians of the care and the childbirth whose theoretical anchoring articulates around the danger, risk and accident. Indeed, this essay is part of the field of social psychology of work and organizations with an interest in occupational health, a practical and research field that aims to contribute to the improvement of health, the prevention of risks and the protection of hospital workers, particularly care workers.Our thinking in conducting this research in the hospital environment can be summed up by the fact that staff in this environment are exposed to occupational risks. How do they deal with the risks inherent in their work and their professional environment? How do they think about them? What are their representations of risks? How are they linked to their practices? We believe that the characteristics of risk situations and their representation include factors related to the caregivers, the patient, the work environment, the organization of work and the nature of the risk incurred.

It was established as an objective to design, develop and evaluate an application that uses u-learning elements that integrates gamification elements, called here Youubi Gamer, making use of the Youubi API services, and analyse the impacts on the learning practices and strategies adopted by its users. To achieve the established goal, the method was divided into two phases. In the first phase, design thinking was used, composed of four stages. Immersion, brainstorming of ideas, prototyping and implementation. The second phase of the method makes use of qualitative and quantitative techniques of data collection, such as application of profile questionnaire, satisfaction questionnaire, diaries, and focus group. As results of the work we have the Youubi Gamer application that was evaluated during the period of a week in a higher education institution. After the collection and analysis of the data, it was verified, with the introduction of Youubi Gamer, the emergence of new learning practices on the part of the students, and an increase in their engagement due to the gamification elements present in the application.

Cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) is defined as thrombus obstruction of a cerebral venous sinus. Factor V leiden (FVL) mutation and thrombin-activatable fibrinolysis inhibitor (TAFI) polymorphism are two key factors in the coagulation and fibrinolysis process involved in the development of thromboembolic diseases. However, the role of these factors in the development of DVT remains ambiguous. The aim of this study was to determine the imputability of the FVL mutation and the TAFIC1040T polymorphism in the occurrence of DVT in young people. Through a case-control study including 32 patients and 49 controls collected at the neurology department of CHU Habib Bourguiba Sfax. The molecular study showed that 37.5% of our patients were heterozygous for the C1040T mutation and 12.5% were homozygous mutants. This study also showed that there was a significant association between the TAFI C1040T polymorphism and the risk of CVT.

The low level of organic cotton production in Benin is a situation that is of concern to the authorities at various levels. The aim of this research is to analyse the socio-economic determinants of the low level of organic cotton production in the commune of Banikoara, and to analyse the perceived impact on the health of producers and the environment in this commune. The methodological approach adopted is mixed, both qualitative and quantitative. Documentary research, interviews and observation are the techniques used to collect the data, with tools such as interview guides, questionnaires, reading grids and observation grids. The strategic analysis model of Crozier and Friedberg (1977), based on the hypothetico-inductive approach, was used and the rank indices were calculated. Data was collected from 100 cotton growers in 05 villages in the commune of Banikoara and from resource persons involved in the sector. The results of this research show that many constraints limit organic cotton production in the commune of Banikoara.
