The Volta Redonda region presents a great demand in the use of common tires and OTR's, which leads to an increase in the generation of residues of this material. With the increase of incorrect disposal in the region there is a great concern in reducing this environmental liability. The purpose of this study was to diagnose the destination of tires, through their trajectory taking into account the flow from the cradle to the grave.

Public procurement now accounts for a significant proportion of our national budgets. This budget, it should be remembered, is partly made up of fiscal resources, which in turn are fed by citizens' contributions in the form of taxes, VAT, etc. It therefore appears that public procurement requires special attention from citizens, since it is they who partly, albeit indirectly, finance their state's acquisitions of works, supplies and services. In this respect, it is legitimate for citizens to demand that the rules of transparency be respected when public resources have to be committed for public procurement purposes. Welcomed with great fanfare by Community bodies when it was first introduced, transparency, which was a principle transposed by Senegal and Togo to clean up the public procurement sector, is nevertheless coming up against practices which, at the very least, can be described as deviant. These practices will be addressed in turn through the award procedures and control mechanisms, against a backdrop of recommendations.

The book recounts the daily life of an employee of the Centre d'Aide aux Handicapés Mentaux, the CAHM. A mentally handicapped man himself, he is relegated to an insignificant position as the Centre's archive clerk. A fierce loner, his only companions are his old cat and the psychiatrist, an inveterate drinker and a bit of a crackpot at the CAHM. On his wedding night, his mother is found dead, while his future wife has disappeared. He is suspected of patricide, and has a few problems with the police and the neighbours. The rest of the story is a succession of zany chronicles of the CAHM, the neighbourhood and the estate in general, in which our hero finds himself involved, in spite of himself, in funny situations that put him to the test.

The third mission emerges as a bridge between Higher Education Institutions and their environment, becoming a key element for the resolution of current problems, which require a dynamic and real-time response. Through the transfer of knowledge and technology, Higher Education Institutions stimulate industry and society, becoming a key agent in the approach to innovation and entrepreneurship, as a facilitator for sustainable development.This study aims to understand the dynamics of the third mission of Higher Education Institutions as a stimulating factor for the globalization of the economy and the evolution of the community, the global development of industry and the evolution of society. It had as a case study the 1st Batch of the DEMOLA Project, developed in the 1st semester of 2021, in the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave.

The research presented in this volume was descriptive and propositional with a population of twenty-four teachers in order to determine the teaching performance at the "Antenor Sánchez" Educational Institution in Chimbote in the year 2020. A self-evaluation was carried out by means of a 30-item questionnaire in a study that lasted two years. All the data obtained were processed by inferential descriptive statistics whose results showed in the preparation for learning. It was possible to identify the level of preparation, evaluation of apprenticeships. While with respect to the development of professionalism and teaching identity, aspects were identified that are of interest from the justification of the need to always develop professionalism and teaching identity. The statistical results made it possible to establish a program based on the critical reflective approach to improve teaching performance in this educational institution, a proposal that is both generalizable and pertinent.

Prisons occupy an important place in the media. Whether in relation to the lack of available places and resources allocated to the justice system, the insalubrity of buildings, or the construction of new prisons and the introduction of new security measures. In the media but seldom questioned, prison - present but distant, indomitable but troublesome - is one of those necessary things we'd rather not think about. Unfortunately, let's face it: hiding a reality doesn't make it go away.Today, in Benin and around the world, prison facilities are overcrowded, costly and inefficient. The situation of prisoners is getting worse and worse, with no real solutions being found by decision-makers. Rehabilitation, alternatives to incarceration and far less costly sentence adjustments have been shelved.

This book analyzes the relationship between Literature and Cinema, highlighting the interchange of procedures between these two forms of expression. It examines the way in which the nascent language of cinema borrowed many elements from literary art and today, on the other hand, literature appropriates cinematographic resources that allow it to apprehend and express with greater fidelity the world of the contemporary hurricane, strongly influenced by the image. In particular, it focuses on the incorporation of cinematographic procedures by contemporary narrative, highlighting the post-modern short story by Caio Fernando Abreu (1948-1996), whose narrative technique is characterized by a voracious desire for visuality and aspects of filmic narrative based on short stories by this author. The body, the writing and the visuality of Abreu's work are the corpus, whose focus is on the tension between text and image, a dynamic cartography of the camera-gaze made of texts and read adrift.

This is a descriptive cross-sectional study carried out at the Centre for Mixed Medicine and SS Anaemia, over a period of one year from January 2015 to January 2016 during which we analysed the epidemiological and clinical data of a sample of 244 homozygous SS sickle cell cases. The gender distribution did not reveal any predominance. The age of the patients varied between 1 and 50 years, with an average of 14.2±10.4 years, and the age group 0 to 9 years was the most represented. In terms of geographical distribution, the predominance of this condition is clear in the eastern part of the city of Kinshasa and the western part of the DRC. All patients were unmarried. 59% of patients were from the Revival Church. The most frequent complaints were pain (56.9%) and fever (27.45%). The main reasons for hospitalisation were painful vaso-occlusive crises (55.5%), followed by malaria (13.3%) and ischaemic stroke (8.9%). The average number of transfusions in our series was 2.78±2.18, and 54.9% of patients received 2 to 4 transfusions.

Numerous studies in psychology have been carried out on social judgement (desirability and social usefulness) but very few in relation to disability. The only studies that have been carried out on the social perception of people with disabilities study the whole group of people with disabilities, without necessarily distinguishing between men and women with disabilities. The aim of our two pieces of research here is to complement these previous studies, while dissociating men and women with disabilities. Through our research, we are studying the judgement (socio-cognitive mechanisms, perceptual biases, stereotyped or non-stereotyped judgement) of participants with regard to a man versus a woman, without a disability versus with a disability, in accessing positions of responsibility (study 1) and in the allocation of positions of responsibility (study 2). Our main results show that the information 'being disabled' or 'disability' influences the judgement. As our previous research (2013) also shows, women with disabilities and men without disabilities are valued on all dimensions of social judgement (usefulness, desirability, skills).

This book is an invitation to talk about what has been introduced in recent years in education, such as active, collaborative and cooperative learning, e-learning, blended learning, CDIO, flipped learning, PBL, case study, PDAF, lean learning, rubrics, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).The work is essentially a book on education. It is related to undergraduate courses, and can be adopted by undergraduate courses in Natural Sciences. It can also help in the elaboration of pedagogical projects in general.

It happens that many people take pleasure in savouring a few exotic fruits of trade and bask in them at their leisure, blissfully oblivious, alas, to their bearing trees, their sowers and, indeed, their very origins. Indeed, they dare not ask themselves any questions in relation to these immediately inescapable elements. Such is the situation of many gadgets received by our immediate social and cultural communities and everywhere else for that matter. The tangible fruits of ideas constituted and developed as abstract works, conveniences of all kinds in our daily lives reveal in reality a virtual ingenuity surely adjoining unknown and unsought owners. In this vein, we've heard of the Prousts, the Einsteins, the Bacon's, the William Amo's and so on, perhaps without much interest. Is it obvious, then, that these and so many others we know of constitute a fine ideal of universal representation sealed in this gent? Why should our list decline the exception?

The oncologic disease and/or the therapeutic pathway imposes changes in the dimension of health condition to its patients. When we talk about health condition we refer to changes in self-care as well as to commitments in the field of bodily processes. In the global context, colorectal cancer is among the most common oncological processes, especially in males and still has a high mortality rate. However, advances in diagnosis and treatment allow people with this disease to live longer and with better quality of life. Based on these assumptions, we conducted a study aimed at describing the health condition of clients with colorectal cancer at the beginning of the therapeutic pathway, using a descriptive exploratory methodological approach in a quantitative paradigm.

This work traces the history of pluriconfessionality in Cameroon by tracing how the Catholic religious force consolidated itself by generating a structural crisis in the society of North Cameroon marked by Islam, despite the vicissitudes linked to its relations with the political forces. It is a question of understanding the constructional dynamics of the new social matrix characterized by multi-faith, the impact of which has been felt throughout Cameroon. Cameroonian pluriconfessionalism is marked by the predominant role of politics. During the colonial era, the administration set up a legal arsenal guaranteeing freedom of worship and the primacy of public authorities in authorizing the opening of places of worship and coercing religious forces. In the post-colonial period, the political system strengthened the principle of multi-faith in the constitution and promoted the virtues of religious tolerance and peaceful cohabitation of religions. It will rely on the coercive power of the state to prevent extremism and the tribune function of the religious. This work is useful for researchers, academics and the public.

This work will follow the theme of the changes made to the institutes of legal separation and divorce with the advent of the new CPC. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to shed light on the aforementioned institutes in light of this new Codex, seeking to bring and understand the changes in the spouses' right to legal separation and divorce. In this way, this research will be referred to a conceptual attempt of the mentioned institutes and, also, to bring the procedural legislative evolutions related to the dissolution of the society and conjugal bond, in order to then be able to understand the changes and innovations that have affected the new civil procedural statute. Next, the subsistence of the institute of separation in Family Law will be addressed, especially in the procedural scope, starting with the entry of Constitutional Amendment No. 66 of 2010 in the Brazilian legal system and its impacts on the institutes addressed herein, and then analyze, critically, the legislative insistence on maintaining the right of separation.

This paper addresses the issues involving the tax activity facing the immunities of political parties, labor unions, educational and social welfare institutions, notably under the prism of the understandings installed in jurisprudence and doctrine. This research also presents a legal framework on the theme discussed and its application to concrete cases, with emphasis on the positions adopted by the Supreme Court. To this end, it will be necessary to demonstrate the State's taxation system, thus arriving at the reasons and grounds that led the Constituent Power to establish immunities for the entities in question. At the end, the legal and political reasons and foundations of the respective hypotheses of constitutionally qualified non-levy will be exposed, based mainly on the decisions and understandings of the Supreme Court.

The prowess of contemporary technosciences, in the fields of genetic engineering, information technology, reproduction, health, astrophysics, etc., is revolutionising our knowledge of mankind, nature and the future, and giving us new powers over the future of the human adventure in the universe. What, then, are the standards, principles and values that should govern, at least symbolically, these advances in technoscientific research and development (TSRD) on mankind and the environment? Based on the thinking of Gilbert HOTTOIS, this essay is a lucid and cautious analysis of the relationship between technoscience and bioethics as a support tool. It is a clear reminder of the need to preserve the freedom of technoscientific research and development, which must be underpinned by philosophical wisdom based on an ethics of limits and a pedagogy of humanity.

This research looked at the spatio-temporal changes in land use and occupation in the Lower Ouémé Valley as a result of various practices. The methodology adopted made it possible to collect and process a range of data (satellite, climatic, demographic, hydrological). The results obtained show that, from 1986 to 2015, crops and fallow land predominated, rising from 23% to 32%, while habitats and bare soil increased significantly, from 15% to 18%. Marshy meadows have also increased substantially, accounting for 13% of the total surface area. Water bodies remain relatively stable at around 19%, while swamp formations, plantations and forest patches have degraded considerably, accounting for just 8%, 7% and 3% respectively of the Lower Ouémé Valley's surface area, which has been converted into other land-use units. Vegetation degradation factors are attributed to demographic growth, pastoral pressure (transhumance and others...), agricultural practices, land tenure, urbanization and climate variability.

The study consists of studying the degradation of the chlorometric degree of bleach by the influence of several physico-chemical factors as a function of time: - Temperature; - Concentration; - Light; - Metals. According to this study, we found that metals have a greater influence on the degree of bleach than the other factors. Marketed bleach generally has a shelf life of no more than 12 months, which begs the following question: Why does bleach have a short shelf life? And as long as we're asking this kind of question, the answer must be in the form of logical reasons. In our case, the reasons are factors that influence the degradation of bleach, which affects its shelf life. So what factors influence the degradation of bleach extract? And why do they do this?

The aim of this study is to identify the determinants of the deterioration of wastewater drainage systems in social and economic housing neighbourhoods such as Abobo-SOGEFIHA. To achieve this objective, a questionnaire survey of households was carried out, and a GPS was used to locate wastewater outlets. Interviews and photographs were also taken. The study showed that the population had almost doubled in 24 years, resulting in changes to and densification of housing. The way in which wastewater and rainwater are managed has become unsuitable, given the overloading of the sewer network and the maintenance problems it faces. As a result, local residents are forced to rely on traditional refuse collectors, despite the fact that a modern sewage system runs through almost the entire neighbourhood. In the case of Abobo-Sogefiha, the political solution to preventing the proliferation of sewage in cities through social and economic housing is showing its limits.

After independence, African countries set themselves a dual objective: to build modern national states and to emerge from underdevelopment. Some of them experienced relative growth. This was the case in Côte d'Ivoire. A prosperous country just after independence, it faced difficulties as a result of the international financial crisis and the oil crises of 1973 and 1979-1980. These difficulties led to an economic imbalance caused by a deterioration in the terms of trade. Unable to alleviate the country's economic problems, the Ivorian authorities turned to the Bretton Woods institutions, which, through the World Bank, proposed solutions to curb the crisis. The purpose of this study is to show the economic policy undertaken by the World Bank to help Côte d'Ivoire emerge from the economic crisis that has rocked the country from 1980 to 2010.

Mammalian fauna, in particular the Phataginus tricuspis population, is under heavy anthropogenic pressure. This study aims to protect the Phataginus tricuspis and conserve its habitat for sustainable development in the Monts Kouffé classified forest. Surveys were carried out in the FCMK. Data collection was based on the search for evidence of the presence of Phataginus tricuspis. Socio-ethnozoological data were collected in 10 markets for the sale of remains in the commune of Bassila. The ethnozoological indices calculated showed that magico-mystical and food uses remained the most common categories. Menly's alpha values for tree savannahs, shrub savannahs, open forests and gallery forests were 0.01, 0.16, 0.017 and 0.16 respectively. This shows that these habitats are avoided by Phataginus triscuspis. Menly's alpha index values of 0.8 >1/m Phataginus tricuspis show that the animal prefers dense dry forests. It would therefore be desirable to reinforce actions for the sustainable management of this animal species.

OCP Group is determined to optimise its energy resources through a targeted strategy aimed at securing its energy sources and increasing its energy efficiency. The solution is based on the calciner, which releases the important heat in the form of hot gases in the calciner outlet. This residual heat produced by the calciner will be calculated from the flow rates, temperatures and specific heat, in order to deduce the electrical power produced by the system. To complete this work, an economic balance sheet will be drawn up by studying the investment cost and the payback time on the investment, not forgetting its impact on the environment.

In Côte d'Ivoire, hydrosystem development projects were set up. Over a ten-year period, these programs aimed to create 50,000 new hectares under irrigation, for all food crops combined. Various technologies adapted to local conditions were used, including run-of-river intake, drilling, small hill dams and pumping stations. In fact, the hydrosystem is a complex system whose functioning integrates all the compartments of the basin, spatial units (minor and major beds, lowlands, terraces, slopes or plateaus) interconnected by a hydrographic network or by underground flow, and whose structure and evolution are intimately linked to past and present river dynamics. This is the basin's receiving system. It is subject to both historical evolution and socio-economic dynamics.

he COVID-19 pandemic that broke out at the start of 2020 and struck the entire planet with lightning speed is, paradoxically, a fantastic revelation of the state of this very planet. It reveals, among other things, the profound inequalities that mark our societies: inequalities between countries and regions, between social classes, between generations or in terms of vulnerability and resilience. These numerous inequalities have demonstrated that there was not "just one" COVID-19 pandemic, but several.

In most developing countries, the socio-economic and professional integration of women remains a major objective. With this in mind, the Cameroonian government, through the Ministry for the Promotion of Women and the Family, has set up Centers for the Promotion of Women and the Family (CPFF) throughout the country. For MINPROFF, these CPFFs represent the operationalization of the Cameroonian government's strategy for the economic promotion of women and their socio-professional integration.The aim of this report is therefore to clinically study the implementation of this strategy in order to highlight its merits and limitations, and to propose new solutions to further improve this approach. Although the results of the implementation of this policy are quantitatively and qualitatively real, the overall assessment of the policy of integrating women into development reveals a significant risk of stagnation in relation to the objective pursued, which is sustainable development.
