Public health ethics is currently the subject of renewed interest, largely due to the challenges presented by recent outbreaks of infectious disease. Over the last decade, and perhaps more particularly since the development of treatments for the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and in the wake of the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) crisis, health professionals, academics and policy-makers have been increasingly confronted with the moral dimensions of protecting and promoting the health of populations. The general objectives of public health are clearly distinct from those of clinical medicine, because of the priority it gives to prevention and the community. This prioritisation can lead to active government intervention, sometimes involving heavy burdens or restrictions on individual and collective rights. Public health ethics is therefore more oriented towards the community than medical ethics, and more specifically affects the everyday lives of citizens (Mattéi, J.F., 2013).

The Amazons, these warrior women, whose myth belongs to the Western collective imagination, that history places near the Caucasus, resurfaced during the conquest of the New World in South America. The myth proved to be from the first expeditions in the fifteenth century a bait to promote the explorations. It materialized in the sixteenth century, in the story of fray Gaspar de Carvajal and the "bloody encounter" of Orellana during his descent of the Maragnon River. At the same time, the myth is reinforced, supported, embellished and consolidated in Europe by the obstinacy and zeal of chroniclers and geographers. Classical maps and charts appear with these women in the middle of half-human and monstrous beings. In the eighteenth century, the image of women warriors, rebels who subjugate and fascinate, with its load of fears and erotic fantasies, offers the possibility of examining the role assigned to women in European society. Thus, the myth of the Amazons emerges as a transposition of the European imaginary, a reflection of the relationship between the imaginary, the apprehension of an unknown space and the interpretation of this space to better appropriate it.

Cristianne Beda de Queiroz Mendes is a psychologist and historian. She has extensive experience in the educational and clinical areas. Currently, she works as a clinical psychologist at the Instituto Tocantinense Antônio Carlos (Itpac), in Porto Nacional, Tocantins, where she assists academics, teachers and employees at the Núcleo de Apoio Psicopedagógico (NAP). With a degree in Social Psychology, she works as a teacher in higher education, provides consultancy to schools and works as a clinical psychologist.

This book presents an analysis about the disclosure of the results of the National High School Exam (ENEM) in the Brazilian press, in order to undertake a discussion about the functionality of journalism as a social mediator and the treatment of the theme "education". In this sense, the work deals with the evaluation systems of education, especially ENEM; discusses the relationship between media and society, considering the construction of a common sense and a public opinion around the educational system of Brazilian high school; and discusses about the construction of reality and truth associated with the journalistic practice. Such considerations serve as a theoretical basis for the development of discourse analysis undertaken according to the materials published in 2010, about the results of Enem, in the newspapers Estado de Minas and Folha de S. Paulo.

Wanting to contribute to the debate on postcolonial African emergence and renaissance, and using the method of prospectivist hermeneutics, the author denounces the generalized importation of models of governance (1), questions the code of emergence of pharaonic Egypt (2), the thinking gesture by which the ancient Greek students returned home and disseminated and developed the acquired knowledge (3), the causes of the loss of this historical status by Egypt (4) and the dogmas of Western academism (5). From there, and aiming at the construction of a concept of Universal a posteriori, he implements the epistemo-ethics as a mode of prospective evaluation of the ante-colonial African tradition, by crossing it with the post-colonial reality, in order to release an original and dynamic synthesis, by which Africa can re-emerge and re-birth in the new globalized world, in a measure which aims at Development, of which Happiness is the goal, as a way, and not as a destination anymore. He concludes that the deep decolonization of the African understanding is the condition of the African re-emergence and re-birth for the Development.

The issue of copyright ownership in cinematographic works became controversial in Canada in 1993 during the preparation of Bill C-115, the implementation of the North American Free Trade Agreement: the federal government proposed that the director be the author of the cinematographic work and that the producer be the first owner of copyright in the work. The massive opposition of authors prevented the adoption of this proposal and the Canadian legislator chose instead to maintain the status quo with respect to this category of work: the cinematographic work is still, under the Copyright Act, considered a dramatic work and the author is the person who created it. The particularity of the audiovisual or cinematographic work comes from the fact that it involves a plurality of authors who collaborate in the creation of the common work. On the international scene, the notion of author, for this category of work, has evolved according to opposite principles according to whether it is a "copyright" country or a "copyright" country.

Carried out in 2017, the first aim of this study was to respond to the attacks commonly made on immigrants in France and Europe. Going against the grain of media shortcuts, this study showed to what extent immigration can be an opportunity and an added value for host countries. Over and above the comparison between benefits and detriments, my study suggests possible long-term solutions for welcoming migrants and confirms the possibility of their existence in distinct economic systems. In addition, I have chosen to pay particular attention to the dynamics of cooperation and solidarity that already exist and have proved economically viable in Europe. At a time when immigrants are being criticised and blamed, and when human rights are being flouted, I felt it was important to provide some answers to the accusations levelled at them.

In the past decades, there has been an immense increase in the world population, leading to a demand for food to meet the needs of the population. It is necessary, as far as possible, to adopt new techniques of rapid multiplication and to look into organic agriculture to hope for the indefinite future of future generations. Organic agriculture is an alternative mode of production, without the use of synthetic chemicals. It is an approach that involves not only the plants and animals, but the whole environment where they live. Agrobiologists pay particular attention to the soil. Likewise, the protagonists of naturalist medicine refuse chemical therapies and advocate a good physiological state of living beings which reinforces their capacity of resistance against external aggressions.

Meat and meat products are particularly susceptible to bacterial proliferation, due to their high water and nutrient content. Some of its constituents, such as lipids and proteins, are nutritional assets, making meat a highly perishable foodstuff. Indeed, food-borne infectious diseases are often linked to poor hygiene. The presence of pathogenic micro-organisms in meat is the result of several factors, including the contamination of carcasses during slaughter from the gastrointestinal contents. Mincing alters the structure of the product and encourages contamination of the muscle mass by surface germs. Minced meats are more susceptible to microbial spoilage than whole meats. Assessing the microbiological quality of minced beef is a crucial step before it is marketed and displayed to customers.

The Program of activities of the Government of the Republic of Belarus for 2018-2020 outlined the task to create conditions for the implementation of the policy of rational import substitution and development of import substitution, including using the potential of small and medium companies to improve the trade balance of the country, in order to eventually reach an annual increase in import substitution production of at least 600 million dollars. In Belarus the main task of import substitution, which is understood as a state policy aimed at rationalizing the import of goods and services by stimulating domestic producers, including with the participation of foreign capital to organize the production of products that were previously imported, is formulated as not a mechanical substitution of imported goods, but the development of competitive national production. The share of import-substituting products in the country is already close to 40 percent or $20 billion in monetary terms. And this is not the limit. How is this problem solved today? The answer to this question can be found in the proposed study.

Arterial hypertension has become a health problem that has been increasing over the years. It represents a disease in itself, as well as an important risk factor for other diseases, mainly ischemic heart disease, heart failure, cerebrovascular disease, renal failure, and can also affect the peripheral vasculature and the retina. Thus, it is essential to achieve an early diagnosis and indicate the most appropriate therapy to maintain adequate control of blood pressure. This book deals with the classification, risk factors, diagnosis and treatment of this disease.

Export is one of the main development priorities of the Belarusian economy. In its structure, it traditionally accounts for more than half of the gross domestic product, being one of the main sources to ensure sustainable economic growth in the country. Foreign trade in the Republic of Belarus has undergone certain structural transformation during the post-crisis period of world trade development. Today, a course has been taken to increase the share of science-intensive, high-tech products in the structure of export, diversification of deliveries to new markets. Belarus has traditionally pursued a multi-vector foreign economic policy, maintaining foreign trade contacts with the majority of foreign countries and taking an active part in international integration processes. Fundamental changes in foreign trade associated with Belarus' participation in the Eurasian Economic Union, the formation of a common common economic space, and forthcoming accession to the World Trade Organization are the most important developments, which have a significant impact on the conditions for export activities. How are these tasks and related issues dealt with in practice today? This study is about that.

This study was carried out with the aim of determining the rheological properties of the flours of three Malagasy cassava cultivars most widely consumed by the population in the DIANA Region, Madagascar. Seven rheological parameters were determined. The results obtained showed that the gelatinisation start temperature (in °C), peak viscosity (in cP), minimum viscosity (in cP), maximum viscosity drop (in cP), final viscosity (in cP), retrogradation (in cP) and peak viscosity time (in min) were respectively: for Menarevaka cassava flour : 70.95 ± 0.05; 5227.00 ± 30.05; 2817.33 ± 13.28; 2409.67 ± 17.24; 3601.67 ± 42.19; 784.33 ± 28.94 and 4.51 ± 0.03 , for Mena cassava flour: 71.52 ± 0.53; 5882.33 ± 50.14; 2994.00 ± 23.64; 2888.33 ± 26.50; 3860.00 ± 41.58; 866 ± 19.08 and 4.51 ± 0.03, for Fotsy cassava flour: 70,97 ± 0,08 ; 5679,00 ± 141,49 ; 2955,67 ± 8,39 ; 2723,33 ± 143,44 ; 3870,33 ± 17,56 ; 914,67 ± 25,11 ; 4,40 ± 0,07. These results showed that the flours of three Malagasy cassava cultivars analysed have significant rheological properties.

The presidency of the Republic of Belarus in the Commonwealth of Independent States, which was based on the principles of continuity and aimed to implement the long-term elements of the development strategy of this integration association in the post-Soviet space in various areas, ended with the onset of 2022. The measures taken in 2021 under the auspices of the Belarusian presidency, combined with the efforts of the states at the national level, made it possible to ensure the growth of the most important macroeconomic indicators in the Commonwealth. The achievement of positive dynamics is largely due to the CIS free trade zone, which provides favorable conditions for the development of the economies of the CIS member states. In 2021, thanks to the chairmanship of Belarus, we continued to work actively with other States on a draft agreement on free trade in services, which is designed to provide additional opportunities for sustainable economic development in the post-Soviet space. The result of this work should be the signing of this document in May 2022. These and other issues of CIS integration are discussed in this study.

The Project Center for Sport Initiation (CID) is an educational sport policy organized by the Secretariat of Education of the Federal District and serves students from the public network of the DF who wish to improve themselves in a sport modality in their afterschool hours. This work proposes to analyse the limits and possibilities that this policy experiences regarding the guarantee of citizenship rights, based on the assumption that sport presents itself as a satisfier of basic human needs. Thus, it discussed the perspectives of the Project, confronting its historical trajectory, pedagogical proposal and its legal and institutional frameworks between the years 2008 and 2015, from a qualitative research approach, containing interviews with key characters of its materiality: teachers and managers at various levels. During the more than thirty years of CID history, citizenship rights have not established a close relationship with Brazilian sports policies, but this controversial relationship seems to have started to be rethought in this Programme in current times.

The present work marks our introduction to research as part of our Master's thesis, Option: Life and Earth Sciences.For this purpose, observations were made on emergence, neoformation of aerial apparatus organs and pod development, from basal seeds of two-, three- and four-lodge pods; they were carried out on two varieties A and B (Designated by default) of Arachis hypogaea L. over a period of 91 days. These varieties differ in tegument color, pale pink for A and dark pink for B.This study assessed their emergence (time and rate), the production of aerial organs (leaves, flowers and gynophores) and the yield in kg/ha of pods*. Differences and similarities were observed. Seed emergence ranged from 6 days (for AIII.3, AIV.4 and BII.2 seeds) to 8 days (for BIII.3 and BIV.4 seeds). The emergence rate of variety A was 93.75% higher than that of variety B, which was 83.25% higher.

Our research focused on the current state of water, hygiene and sanitation (WASH) in the KAHEMBE district (city of Goma). The hypothesis was that the KAHEMBE neighbourhood, like other neighbourhoods in the city of GOMA, has a problem with access to drinking water, basic hygiene and environmental sanitation: 1. A very low level of household income in KAHEMBE; 2. the population's inadequate knowledge of hygiene, sanitation and water treatment; 3. the lack of water treatment, hygiene and sanitation facilities and tools; The objectives of the study were to assess the current situation regarding water, hygiene and sanitation in the KAHEMBE district, and to evaluate the level of knowledge, attitude and practice of the district's population regarding water, hygiene and basic sanitation.

This paper presents the results obtained from a theoretical-practical research, in which the definition of the concept of "acronym" was discussed, as well as its characterization, thus proposing its own conceptualization. In addition, an analysis of the semantic perception of five Spanish acronyms found in different linguistic contexts (digital media, social networks, spontaneous conversation) is presented, carried out by 25 native Spanish-speaking collaborators between 16 and over 56 years of age in Latin America: basuraleza, cafebrería, ciudadaños, cubatón and raterinaria. Data collection was carried out through the design and online application of a survey, using the Google Drive Forms platform. The objective of the research was to explore and explain the process of decoding the meaning of these acronyms, in order to identify the level of meaning recognition and the semantic variety that the collaborators attributed to each acronym.

Within the scope of Sports Management and in the domain of Public Policies of Sports and Local Government, the consultation of this work will allow readers to know better and in greater depth a specific context of intervention and practices of municipal action in relation to sport in a global way, but especially the services and multidisciplinary sports offer as a guarantee of generalized access to the practice of sports by the population on a local scale and/or occasional national and international visitors.The study developed had as main objective the exploration of the context of Public Policies of Sport in Local Authorities associated with Sports Development, namely the intervention of the municipality of Almada (Portugal) regarding policies, facilities, training of agents, programs and activities in the promotion of physical and sporting activities.The development of sports activity continues to depend heavily on government action, both at the level of national public policies and local public policies, so it is imperative to better understand the different realities existing in southern Europe from the Portuguese reality.

The reliability of medical devices is directly linked to the quality of the services provided to patients. For this reason, quality controls must be carried out regularly in every Nuclear Medicine department in accordance with international standards. Our approach began by perfecting our knowledge of the various components and acquisition modes of a gamma camera. We then carried out the various quality control tests recommended by the NEMA standard on a hybrid SPECT/CT gamma camera and a digital scintillation gamma camera, in order to assess their performance. Our study showed acceptable results, confirming that the gamma camera works well and providing better quality scintigraphic images. This guarantees the reliability and reproducibility of diagnoses.

Amazonas seeks the universalization of Basic Education using the most varied resources, and one of these resources is the use of ICTs. The educational platform managed by Cemeam reaches all Amazonian municipalities and, thus can simultaneously provide the same lesson in real time to all its students. In the classes, the moment when students and teachers dialogue is called Interactivity: which is the object of investigation of this text.

The composition and structure of the bird assemblage present in the Sierra Las Damas forest was determined using the standardized method of sampling by census itinerary with transect bands. The bird community found in the study area consists of 52 species, 44 genera, 26 families and 13 orders of the class Aves. Of the total, nine are endemic, 18 are winter migrants, five are summer migrants and 39 breed in Cuba. Of these, 49 are common and three are rare. Regarding the trophic guilds, granivorous species predominate. The numerically dominant species were Tomeguin de la Tierra and Bien-te-veo, which show postbreeding explosions during the rainy season. The ornithocenosis associated with the Sierra Las Damas forest is stable and interesting, reaching high values for the ecological indices.

The Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) is a planning tool designed to prevent environmental degradation at the expense of economic development. It ensures that projects are better integrated into the social environment, thereby contributing to sustainable development. Since the adoption of Decree No. 2006-058/PR setting out the procedures for carrying out an ESIA in Togo, 482 studies have been carried out. However, only 64 studies have been followed up in the implementation of their Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP). As a result, little attention has been paid to the impact of applying the recommendations set out in the ESMP to reduce negative impacts. This is the case for the North-Togo electricity interconnection project being carried out by the Communauté Electrique du Bénin (CEB). The aim of this study is to analyse the implementation of the project's ESMP. In particular, it aims to identify the constraints linked to the implementation of the ESMP and to define a monitoring-evaluation procedure to make the mechanism more effective.

The main purpose of this research was to interpret leadership and assertiveness in Venezuelan early education from a postmodern perspective, with the aim of contributing to early education today. The research is framed under qualitative research supported by the interpretative phenomenological method, since it seeks to interpret, understand and know the existing reality in Venezuelan early education at the present time. The key informants consisted of one (1) director, one (1) assistant director, five (5) teachers of conventional care and one (1) teacher of non-conventional care (EFC), selected intentionally by the researcher, The information was obtained from them through the techniques of participant observation and in-depth interview, which allowed the construction and generation of pertinent reflections for the research conducted.

In this book, I propose a method of articulating the foreign language and the mother tongue to smooth out the many difficulties associated with learning foreign languages, especially French. It's a method I've tried and tested myself over more than two decades. When asked about the use of the mother tongue in their lessons, many teachers say that it can be justified for a number of reasons: to re-establish a semblance of communication with learners during the lesson, to explain the tasks to be carried out during the lesson, the exercises, the assessment, to make instructions explicit, to exemplify situations that are difficult to implement, to make progress in the program, to avoid wasting time... This method comes at just the right moment to respond to a concern that often hinders foreign language teachers: how to use the mother tongue in a way that helps learners to better follow the lessons and move forward in the process of appropriating these languages?

La responsabilité pénale des personnes morales en droit Guinéen is a work of general criminal law which describes with pointed criticism the legal conception of this notion in this French-speaking African country. It details the history and evolution of the criminal liability of this category of person from independence in 1958 to the present day. The author points out that, for a very long time, the country held legal entities criminally irresponsible, before making provision for this abstract person to be prosecuted by the criminal courts.This work is divided into two main parts, the first of which is devoted to what he calls liability based on partiality, which he justified by the fact that the State is criminally irresponsible, but that certain dismemberments of the State are partially liable. He went on to point out that all other legal entities with legal personality are criminally liable. In this same first part, he recalled the conditions for implementing the criminal liability of legal persons, and the difficulties to be expected.

The study aimed to find out which publications have been published in the area of nursing, about the development and performance of the Nurse Teacher in the classroom. This is a systematic review, whose data were collected in the databases Latin American and Caribbean Literature on Health Sciences (LILACS) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), with a temporal cut performed in 2014. The nurse's performance is reflected in several aspects. The analysis of the bibliographical references allowed us to state that nurse teachers, in order to train a nurse who is able to act in all dimensions of care as a promoter of citizen, family, and community health, need pedagogical qualification.
