This monograph highlights the data of clinical experience presented in the domestic and foreign literature. The questions of etiopathogenesis, clinic and differential diagnostics of patients with fatigue syndrome are considered. The methodology of socio-hygienic assessment of the state of organization of medical and psychological care is highlighted, a diagnostic algorithm, treatment and rehabilitation is presented.The monograph is intended for rehabilitologists, neurologists, therapists, and general practitioners.

This study reports on bat species recorded in two mangrove areas in Caguanes National Park, Cuba. Bat captures were made during the rainy season of 2016 and in the rainy and dry seasons of 2017. The objective of the study was to characterize the chiropteran fauna in the mangroves to estimate the role that these animals play in that type of forest. Bats were captured using 2.5 m high by 12 m long mist nets. A total of 594 individuals were captured, belonging to 19 species. The most abundant species were Artibeus jamaicensis, Brachyphylla nana and Nyctiellus lápidas, which comprised 80.33% of the captures.

Despite improvements in surgical techniques, laparoscopy and anesthetic management, liver surgery remains a "heavy" surgery with a mortality of 3 to 5% and postoperative morbidity of 17 to 56%. Our work is a prospective randomized clinical trial. Conducted in the Surgery A department of Constantine University Hospital, over a 26-month period (April 2019 to June 2021). The main objective of this study was to evaluate the impact and interest of improved rehabilitation after surgery (RAAC) in hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancer surgery.

The rational breeding of honey bees, or beekeeping, is an agricultural activity that generates employment, income, and several products of economic and food interest to mankind. However, to prosper in this activity, it is essential to have knowledge about who these bees are, what they offer to man and the environment, how they are organized, and what techniques and equipment are involved in their breeding. Thus, this publication provides, in its initial chapters, information about the importance of bees for ecosystems and populations, the origin of bees, races, anatomy and physiology, and the communication system of honey bees(Apis mellifera). The reader is also provided with knowledge about the social life of these bees, presenting the colony with the types, function, and characteristics of the individuals that form it and what they do and how they behave inside and outside the nest. After the reader has become familiar with the world of bees, the final chapters deal with the general aspects of establishing a productive rational bee farm.

Ever since the democratic revolutions, there have been fears of indoctrination when it comes to schools educating students in morality and citizenship. This is still the case today. The aim of this book is to show that it is possible to develop pupils' moral and civic judgement in accordance with a code of ethics that safeguards their freedom of conscience. From an epistemological point of view, this deontology of the teacher, in addition to a posture to adopt in order to train critical thinking and avoid generalising one's own subjectivity, also presupposes differentiating between facts, norms and values and, among the norms, distinguishing between norms of morality and norms of legality, and, within them, those which pursue a merely technical aim, a purpose of existence and the humanity of man.

Quantitative analysis of Candida albicans in the epithelial lining and its correlation with microscopic features. Papillary hyperplasia is considered a form of oral candidosis, especially a form of denture stomatitis, type III according to Newton's classification (1962), which complies with clinical and microscopic criteria. Its etiology is still poorly understood, but several factors have been associated, such as ill-fitting dental prostheses, poor oral hygiene, material used to make the prostheses resulting in hypersensitivity, trauma, immunodeficiency and the fungus Candida albicans, however it is necessary to establish the relationship between the presence of the fungus and the pathogenesis of the disease.

The object of this research are the reflections and the experiences of leisure in the Physical Education classes of High School in the Teaching Foundation of Contagem (FUNEC). The study addresses the possibilities of leisure experiences in the classes in order to identify how it is understood, treated and developed. The study revealed that the intercession Physical Education and leisure can be a means of sociocultural transformation, of reflection on the type of society we want to build. Being leisure an important dimension of juvenile experiences, the work also gave visibility to the need for attention to the numerous cultural manifestations of leisure of young students.

At the time, this book presented a review of globally shared knowledge on the quality of care and was a plea for a culture of continuous improvement in the care offered to patients. While the virtuous nature of quality care for healthcare establishments is an established fact, its implementation requires an approach that is both simple and practical. This is the perilous exercise the author has undertaken in this booklet. In order to establish a lasting culture of quality, healthcare institutions need to define a coherent plan that includes a clear, shared vision, a clearly understood mission and appropriate strategies. Drawing up and adopting a policy document therefore appears to be the most appropriate and practical way of achieving sustainable improvements in healthcare services.

Biliary tract cancer, or cholangiocarcinoma, is a rare tumor. The natural history of these tumors is poorly understood. Their diagnosis is often made at a late stage, which explains the poor prognosis of this disease, with a short median survival. Anatomically, there are 3 forms: intrahepatic, hilar and extrahepatic. These differ clinically, biologically and in their management. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is currently the examination of choice for making the diagnosis and establishing the extent of the disease, so that appropriate management can be planned. The only curative treatment is surgery. If the tumor is unresectable, the main therapeutic objective is to suppress jaundice and pruritus, in order to improve quality of life. The aim of this book is to present the epidemiological and clinical aspects of cholangiocarcinoma, its diagnostic and imaging features, and its therapeutic management.

The proceedings of this colloquium present the reflections of researchers seeking to establish the link(s) between the Roman Catholic Church and literature, philosophy and the humanities. Reflections have focused either on the literary representation of the Catholic Church in both Gabonese and French literary works, or on the history of its establishment in Gabon from a historical or geographical point of view. They are also a reflection on faith and scientific research. The literary representation of this church is either its valorization or its devaluation. Gabonese writers present the clergy as responsible for the training of native cadres during the colonial and post-colonial period in Gabon, or transgress the morals taught by the said church. In novels not written by Gabonese authors, the clergy is held responsible for the disorganization of traditional African society. As for researchers in the humanities, their reflections revisit the organization of the clergy, the problems between the hierarchy made up of European priests and native candidates for the priesthood.

This study of 764 coins found on the Saint-Jacques hill in Cavaillon (Vaucluse, France) brings together the collection of the Musée de la Ville and a private collection, previously published separately. Together, they provide a good overview of monetary circulation on the Cavaillon oppidum of Cabellio in pre-Augustan times. As at other sites in the Lower Rhône Valley, circulation was dominated by Massaliète coins, accompanied by coins from Nîmes and the Arécomiques, as well as coins from the cavares of Avenio and Cabellio. A few foreign coins, from the Rhone valley and inner Gaul, and a very rare coin from Phocaea complete the collection.

African literary writing has long been distinguished by its roots in the continent's age-old oral traditions. Expressing itself in a continuum in phase with the local, it has always drawn its material from the silt of oral heritage through these authors; and this in the variety of its forms. Wole Soyinka's theater, for example, exploits the Yoruba oral heritage, a ferment rich in the aesthetic values of myths, legends and tales, which, as a verbal art, offers a vision of the world and situates man within a relational universe. This study's rediscovery of oral traces is therefore justified by the nature of its subject. An interesting reminder of the inextricable and essential link between written and oral literature, it offers, on the basis of a dramatic corpus, a reading of Yoruba existence through the medium of oral genres, and builds bridges between the local and the global, the past and the present, through the symbolism of transition. The work addresses the question of the galloping fragmentation of the oral heritage, and suggests ways of revaluing it.

The triptych Power-Woman-Myth gives the woman her place in the exercise of power through the imagination of Ahmadou Kourouma. This is made visible by the myth, the place of realization of the impossible and the probable. The book exposes, certainly, the female figure of Power but never fails to integrate its male counterpart. This dialectical representation of the power is for the author a way to mean that the power does not find its legitimacy in the gender. The power is, consequently, an asexual data. Konandri Virginie decompartmentalizes genders to unify them in the mythological figure of the hermaphrodite, a being with the double valence of masculine and feminine. We will remember from her book that the exercise of power by women poses, in reality, the question of the Hero in Kourouma's novels. The author engages in a perceptive reflection on the reality, the lure and the materiality of Power in Kouroumian thought.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the diagnosis and evaluation of these patients has been a challenge. The characteristics of the infection have forced us to adapt and thus ultrasound has emerged as a very useful tool in the evaluation of these patients. However, although lung ultrasound has been the most studied, nowadays we know that COVID presents a multiorgan involvement that influences management and prognosis. It is here where multiventana or multiorgan ultrasound is of great importance. Despite this, there is no protocol and it was not until August 2020 when experts from different countries met to analyze and collect for the first time the potentially useful applications of this technique and drew up a consensus document. These recommendations represent the starting point for the use of multiorgan ultrasound, not only lung ultrasound in COVID-19 patients.Therefore, the aim of this review is to evaluate the efficacy of the use of bedside ultrasound in the integral management of the COVID-19 patient and to analyze the current state of its use at all levels and to assess the new developments.

This book offers an economic reading of the effects of financial integration on economic growth and its implications in the different stages of development. In order to deal with this subject in depth, it has been organized into three chapters: the first chapter presents the theoretical concept of the financial system, financial liberalization and economic growth, and thus identifies the relationship between financial development and economic growth through several theoretical channels. The second chapter illustrates the process of financial integration from a historical point of view, and presents the theoretical framework of this process. Finally, the third chapter studies the potential benefits and dangers of financial integration and their impact on economic growth.

The emergence of the problem of the indigenous woman in the critical horizon of the scientific mentality that managed the emancipating project of Peru is investigated, as an organic response to the spiritual, scientific, intellectual and ethical-political crisis that is the natural consequence of the collapse of the archaic colonial regime in Peru and the Andean region. Consequently, the historical-formative, epistemological, semantic-meaningful, constructive and attitudinal aspects involved in the scientific formulation of this problem are discussed. It explains, then, the critical process through which indigenous women become protagonists in critical studies and, above all, producers of discourse and, consequently, of discursive criticism. It is concluded that the integration of indigenous women into Peruvian citizenship continues to be a current and valid challenge.

The globalization process confronts the economies of the least developed countries with a series of challenges, forcing them to review national development strategies in order to overcome the dependency generated with the hegemonic countries. Therefore, to counteract this situation, it is urgent to strengthen the relations between the actors of the international system, which are determined, mainly, by the quality of diplomacy and the policy and strategy of the States, as well as the capacity negotiation of these actors.For its part, international business is key to the development of a good number of countries. However, these businesses are often limited and restricted. In this context, the theory and practice of alternative conflict resolution contribute with adequate models and tools that allow controversies to be settled in the most diverse fields of international relations, particularly in international economic negotiations.

El estudio pretende medir y explicar las desigualdades e inequidades en los servicios de uso de anticonceptivos en Mauritania. Las medidas de equidad se calculan a través de las curvas de concentración (CC), el índice de concentración (IC) y la descomposición del índice de concentración. La inequidad horizontal se mide a través de la desigualdad en la utilización de los servicios de planificación familiar en relación con los determinantes socioeconómicos. La edad se utiliza como variable para la estandarización. El análisis se basa en MICS survay, 2007, 2011 y 2015. El IC para el uso de anticonceptivos mostró una tendencia a la baja entre 2007 y 2015, pasando de 0,41 a 0,27. Sin embargo, sigue siendo positivo, lo que indica que el uso de anticonceptivos se concentra entre las personas más acomodadas. El CC se sitúa por debajo de la línea de 45°, lo que confirma que estas variables se concentran entre las mujeres casadas ricas. Los resultados muestran que el 50% más pobre de las mujeres en edad reproductiva sólo se beneficia del 27% del uso de anticonceptivos. La descomposición del índice de concentración de la planificación familiar muestra que alrededor del 74% de la desigualdad total es atribuible al bajo nivel socioeconómico, alrededor del 24% a la zona de residencia rural, alrededor del 11% al bajo nivel educativo y alrededor del 12% al número de hijos vivos.

In Agriculture et Développement Durable dans la zone des Niayes, Cheikh CISSE shows how the drought of the 1970s prompted most Sahelian countries, like Senegal, to turn to urban agriculture. Urban agriculture plays a key role, accounting for 30% of national production in Senegal in 2005. The modern world, dedicated to an all-encompassing anthropocentrism, has sought an absolute independence for man that negates all transcendence and therefore all heteronomy. This article reflects on the very essence of the human person and the difficult problem of its social or political dimension. Recognition of man's created dependence restores him to his true autonomy, and unconditional respect for the source of this autonomy is the only guarantee of a person's true greatness.

The issue of voluntary or forced migration is now a real problem in all the world's urban centers in general, and in developing countries in particular. Indeed, medico-social assistance for people in crisis situations in general, and CAR returnees in particular, has become a local and even national challenge that the country must take up. The diagnosis of the management of returnees from the CAR revealed that a minimum organizational assistance system exists for women and children returning to the town of Am-Timan. This could make it possible to prevent, in an acceptable way, the socio-sanitary risks linked to poor management of these people in a crisis situation. However, there are shortcomings in the provision of humanitarian assistance in the town of Am-Timan, in the Salamat region, which have had serious consequences.

Born in 1959, Mahi Binebine's literary work explores themes related to political events and social issues that have marked contemporary Morocco, including the Tazmamart prison, illegal emigration and the scourge of drugs, which are visible in his pictorial compositions. Binebine composes large canvases that represent a human being in constant conflict with the universe. Knowing the health problems reported by nursing workers and the forms of treatment chosen by them will enable us to implement preventive actions and assist in the planning and organization of control programs.

FinTechs are revolutionizing today's banking and financial sector. This raises questions about the complex relationship between innovation and regulation. To what extent are FinTechs more innovative than traditional players? FinTechs emerged in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. According to Régis Bouyala, FinTechs are "avatars in the field of banking and finance born of the digital revolution, enabling small entities to compete with and/or complement the offerings of established players in all areas of the economy." The emergence of FinTech is profoundly disrupting the traditional banking and finance model, and is akin to a break with the old banking codes. We therefore need to strike a balance between integrating FinTech into the traditional banking and financial model, despite the risks involved. In addition, national and international regulators need to put in place appropriate, uniform regulations applicable to new players in the banking and financial world.
