The present study aimed to study the urban green areas of the municipality of Contagem in the period from 1999 to 2015, with the aid of the tools of remote sensing and geoprocessing. It was used the Landsat 7 images from the year 1999 and Landsat 8 from 2015, which were acquired for free from the United States Geological Service (USGS). One of the specific focuses of the work was to verify the modifications of the legislation referring to the urban green areas of the Areas of Relevant Ecological Interest-ARIE of the municipality of Contagem-MG in the Master Plans of 1995 and 2006, and to observe the changes in the period under analysis in the ARIE's in the years 1999 to 2015 by means of multitemporal analysis using the CCMT method and qualitative field work. To this end, the images were merged to improve spatial resolution, and software was used to perform the multitemporal color composition, which highlighted the areas that have changed. With the applied method and the analysis of the result, it was diagnosed that the urban green areas in the municipality have been altered, giving way to urban occupation in important areas of Brazilian Atlantic Forest.

This work is the result of a research that analyzed the understanding of traditional communities of artisanal fishermen in southern Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil about aspects of the mismatch between the legal fishing rules and moral norms of those social actors, and the reflections on environmental conservation and the exercise of environmental citizenship. The study involved the analysis of the importance of Environmental Education in the empowerment of fishermen to reverse the current socio-environmental crisis experienced in artisanal fishing in the region, as well as to reflect on the inefficiency of the legal rules applicable in the Patos Lagoon estuary. The work involved the focal groups methodology, based on the fishermen's collective representations, in a perspective of Émile Durkheim. The work presents, finally, the relevant role of Environmental Education as political education for the empowerment of artisanal fishermen in the search for their active participation in the processes of management of fisheries resources, true participatory governance aimed at environmental conservation and building the collective good.

The intellectual must be a solution and not a problem for his country. The intellectual must not realize himself on the ruins of his country's life. He must rather use his knowledge to find solutions to his country's problems. Inspired by this principle that he promotes, the author wanted to set an example by reflecting on the policy of the fight against corruption in Côte d'Ivoire. At the end of this reflection, he points out that the legislation currently in force to fight corruption in Côte d'Ivoire has eight (8) major sociological weaknesses which make it strongly increase the capacity of corruption to resist instead of considerably weakening it. Therefore, in order to increase the level of effectiveness of the anti-corruption policy in Côte d'Ivoire, the author has first highlighted these eight (8) sociological weaknesses. On the basis of these data, he has drafted a bill to prevent and fight against active, passive and protected forms of corruption. This proposed law is followed by a test designed on the basis of its provisions to test its effectiveness.

The richness of our heritage in natural resources are the pride of our country; every patriotic Congolese must become aware to promote the protection of it, we will thus contribute to the realization of the dream so much advocated by the former President MOBUTU who said: "When the scientists will have transformed the world into a purely artificial environment, that there is still in Zaire a last refuge of the man, a nature in the pure state". For being a great protector of the environment, he was even crowned "Commander of the Golden Arch" by the Prince of the Netherlands in August 1973, which title was the world's highest distinction in Nature Conservation. The Democratic Republic of Congo is a victim of a monstrous phenomenon that is due either to its own carelessness or to the deliberate will of its taxpayers. The resources that escape the Congolese public treasury, if they are collected in a rational way, they would contribute effectively to the development of our country. This loss we said, is due to the imprudence of the Congolese legislator when in the application of its rules we find certain faults or gaps.

In the process of land reform undertaken in Congo-Kinshasa, one of the controversial issues is that relating to state land ownership enshrined in the law of 20 July 1973. An option must be made between maintaining this principle, which is in line with traditional philosophy, and abolishing it, as suggested by certain authors and NGOs. Taking the side of those who advocate the maintenance of the principle of State land ownership, the author begins by tracing the evolution of the Congolese land tenure system from the time of the Independent State of Congo to the advent of the 1973 land law. He then presents the arguments of those who call for the abolition of the principle of state land ownership before pointing out their weakness and drawing attention to the danger of abolishing this principle. The content of the book is useful for parliamentarians, government officials and civil society organizations in the Congo, NGOs and international organizations, as well as for all researchers interested in land issues in Africa.

Innovative biotechnology has emerged to facilitate life in the field, where the intrafollicular transfer of immature oocytes for the production of bovine embryos is carried out. There is no need to use a laboratory for in vitro fertilization. The injection of immature oocytes is done in a donor cow (high genetic value) and introduced in a pre-ovulatory follicle of an ovulating cow so that they are matured and ovulated in vivo, thus when ovulated several oocytes will be released. This technique is considered simple where there is the synchronization of the animal chosen to ovulate these oocytes. When performed the insemination after fertilized the embryos will develop to the blastocyst stage in an environment totally in vivo allowing the collection of embryos and the transference to recipient cows or freezing of these embryos. This review aims to present the main factors involved in the development of the work and the execution of TIFOI, its results and applications.

In Togo, despite the efforts of decision-makers in developing family planning policies, the majority of women are still not using modern contraception and the decline in fertility is only slowly following that of mortality. Results from the third Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) of 2013- 2014 show a fairly low modern contraceptive prevalence (16.7%) for women in union, with large disparities between regions. The study aims to contribute to the understanding of factors influencing the use of modern contraception in Togo through a secondary analysis of the DHS data. The descriptive analysis showed a statistically significant association between all the study variables and the dependent variable. Next, a block approach of binary logistic regression was used for the multivariate analysis. Women's ethnic group, residence, religion, age, and status influenced modern contraceptive use. To improve the use of modern contraception, women's education and financial empowerment are needed.

The present book is about the concept, historical summary and benefits of the sport of Orienteering, having as objective to verify if it is possible to work with this sport inside the school environment in an adapted way. Although it is practiced in natural environments, it is a very beneficial sport for those who practice it and, at the same time, it covers contents from several areas of knowledge, becoming an interdisciplinary sport.

The monograph presents literature and the author's own data on the problem of psoriatic disease, which is considered as a systemic disease.Numerous literature data concerning the etiopathogenesis of psoriatic disease and, accordingly, the principles of therapy for this dermatosis are presented.The problems of psoriasis comorbidity are considered, which influences the course of psoriatic process and must be taken into consideration when choosing the adequate therapy. Taking into consideration the carried out research studies, the psoriasis patients are a special risk group in relation to such diseases as diabetes mellitus, CHD and others, which indicates the necessity for more careful attitude towards the patients suffering from the mentioned dermatosis.The monograph presents numerous methods of treatment, including biological preparations, which is of interest not only to dermatologists but also to doctors of other specialties.

The objective of this study was to analyze the hematological alterations and risk factors in patients with diabetes mellitus, which are determined as those that are more frequent in patients with a weak immune system due to various factors and alterations that are present in the disease. Therefore, diabetes mellitus is a syndrome characterized by an elevated level of glucose in the blood, resulting from an absolute or relative impairment of the secretion or activity of insulin.

In this work, I propose to investigate the development of thinking and scientific thinking in activities of physics undergraduate students at UFSCar. The investigation was carried out from the monitoring of the discipline of Instrumentation for the Teaching of Classical Physics during nine weeks of class. During this period the students were submitted to a series of activities that were analyzed as the perspective of microanalysis. We identified and characterized the students' actions and interactions by relating them to scientific thinking and thinking. We conclude that there are activities that provide greater development of thinking and scientific thinking with the improvements performed in physical experiments. On the other hand, we found that other activity contributed little to the development of thinking and scientific thinking such as the evaluation of seminars.

In this work, we seek to associate science education from a human rights perspective, through a practice that favors the empowerment of the feminine gender, since researches indicate a discrepant difference in the number of women in the areas of exact sciences in relation to men. In this way, the present work has as objective of investigation to analyze the conceptions that the students of the High School of the State College Benjamim José de Almeida have about the presence of the woman in science. Our reading starts from the comprehension of the existence of a social problem - the power asymmetries which involve gender issues. As an action objective, the deconstruction of socially pre-established concepts was sought through a pedagogical workshop called "A woman's place is in Science". In this way, the investigation process pointed out the existence of both male and female students' speeches with macho tendencies, revealing that the stereotyped vision in relation to gender reflects in a significant way in professional choices.

The business consultancy will establish a more agile and competitive administration, in line with the current reality, providing the family business society with a range of tools for decision making at the right time, partnering with specific areas, uniting the family to manage their business so that this business does not make this, a profitable family, but a strong business society with a desired return. The work seeks to identify and offer specific solutions for each area of the business.

Students of the college CNEC Farroupilha/RS, developed such work from the integrative project, which aims to instigate the research and apply the knowledge acquired in class. Guided by Professor Dr. Claudio Cristiano Liell, the students Camila Piner, Cristiane Cargnin, Eloi Peltz, Gabriel Formaglioni, Ivanir Verona, Jaiana Vettorazzi Peruzzo, Jonatan Cansan, Ronaldo Martins, set out with the proposal to create methods and analyze the possible improvements in all articles described here in this book.

This study aims to observe the articulation between the evolution of the supports and the impact on the modes of expression. The author also attempts to show how the digital world favors a new way of expressing the "self". By highlighting the impact of the CMO (Computer Mediated Communication) on the writing of oneself and the growing place of the image.

People concerned about environmental issues sense the importance of economics in decisions affecting the environment. However, the most frequent explanations are of a generic nature, alluding to vested interests but without detailing the mechanisms by which these interests operate. Something similar occurs in environmental management courses, in which environmental economics subjects are usually seen as a kind of inevitable evil.Frequently, environmentalist proposals implicitly assume idealized societies in which such interests do not exist or simply do not operate. Reciprocally, any form of environmental management requires a thorough knowledge of the obstacles that are generated, simultaneously, of the economic tools for management.This book is intended for those interested in the environment and environmental management who understand the need to strengthen this facet of their training.

The Constitution is the highest hierarchy norm in a legal system, which organizes, structures and constitutes the State and individual rights and guarantees. Constitutions can be classified according to their content, form, mode of preparation, origin, stability, extent and purpose. Brazil's 1988 federal constitution is formal, written, dogmatic, promulgated, rigid, and analytical. The area of law is present and influencing all branches, guiding the interests of the state and the people who make up its people. No legal career may sever its ties with its higher legal order, under penalty of losing the highest aspirations of the human species and corrupting the efficiency of the legally constituted democratic representation.

The management of the coastline is a priority in the system of governance for the government authorities, the Guédiawaye City Hall and the district town halls concerned, manifested on several occasions, notably the city project, the local Agenda 21 project, the Programme d'Actions pour la Sauvegarde et le Développement des Niayes et zones vertes de Dakar (PASDUNES) (Action Program for the Safeguarding and Development of the Niayes and Green Zones of Dakar), and the Plan Directeur d'Aménagement du Sénégal (PDAS) (Senegalese Master Plan for Development). This study aims to contribute to the analysis of the phenomenon by providing professionals with elements that will allow them to better understand the problem in order to envisage a sustainable fight. This study sets specific objectives relating to: analyzing the physical and human framework of the site in order to grasp their interactions that contribute to the progressive degradation of the environment; analyzing the various elements that contribute to the degradation of the overall environment of the niayes; highlighting technically feasible, economically viable and socially accepted proposals and contributing to the establishment of a sustainable production system oriented towards self-sustaining local development.

The scientific novelty of researching on the assessment of learning in Mathematics III based on metacognitive reflection in Higher Secondary Education lies in the need to improve assessment practices in the educational field, especially in the area of mathematics. This development is based on the recognition that learning assessment is a key tool for the improvement of educational quality, and that metacognitive reflection can help students to better understand their own learning processes and, therefore, improve their performance in the subject. There is now greater awareness of the importance of metacognition in mathematics learning and its relationship to improved academic performance. Therefore, research in this field has the potential to contribute significantly to the development of effective strategies and practices for the teaching and assessment of mathematics in upper secondary education. This book, an international inter-institutional collaboration, projects the doctoral research of the lead author, advised by the co-author, at UAGro High School 32, Mexico.

Book focused on the approach of Environmental Perception as a working tool to contribute and assist in the Management, not only of Conservation Units, but of any environment where the human being is inserted. We chose to make a case study, with a qualitative, exploratory, descriptive research method, with a sample delimited by accessibility and non-probabilistic. Thus, we consider that the research was just a beginning, and as such, allows continuity so that new forms of approaches are developed in order to improve knowledge in the area of Perception.

The mythocriticism that Virginie Konandri deploys in her progression is of Durandian and Brunelian obedience. With Gilbert Durand, she sets out to establish symbols, schemas and archetypes as the basis of literary creation, in various regimes, among Africans and Europeans. By tracing existing myths, she shows in turn how the myth liquefies to flood the literary text, how, through its indices, it emerges and signals itself in the literary and finally how the myth impels all its significance and encodes semantically the Literature. With this second part, it consecrates Pierre Brunel's approach. By integrating these two facets of mythocriticism into her methodological approach, Virginie Konandri reflects on both the sources of literary creation and its progression. The myth is then presented in her study as the origin and the finality of literature. Rigorously applying this reading to identities in literature, the author demonstrates that identity is a construction of the imaginary and of the claim.

This situation has the consequence of making its contours and purposes even more opaque. As a result, many practices claiming to be coaching have proliferated in all professional fields.

The book deals with the treatment of the construction of written texts in the teaching-learning process of the subject Spanish Language in the sixth grade, which is considered one of the priority disciplines in the National Education System, particularly in Primary Education. This book presents a group of teaching aids corresponding to the grade of study, for the construction of written texts based on their analysis and observation. The construction of written texts is considered as a process through which the student elaborates oral and written discourses.The proposed teaching aids were elaborated in such a way that they serve as a guide for the didactic organization of the program's classes and, in turn, favor the development of cognitive, communicative and sociocultural competence in schoolchildren. The effectiveness of the teaching aids elaborated for the construction of written texts shows that the proposal is valid and that with the application of the system of teaching aids the students are able to produce different types of texts from the study and analysis of them.

Excess mortality appears to be associated with rheumatoid arthritis, with life expectancy reduced by 5 to 10 years. Several studies have recently emphasized the preponderance of cardiovascular events in the excess mortality associated with rheumatoid arthritis, and atherosclerosis is currently considered an inflammatory process. The latter is similar to that observed in rheumatoid arthritis. Other explanations could account for this risk, in addition to the inflammatory syndrome, there is the greater prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors, the deleterious effect of treatments, the lesser prevention of cardiovascular diseases in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.All these factors make it necessary to look for high-risk situations and the risk factors that are responsible for them. This conduct will interest asymptomatic subjects to establish primary prevention and specific populations for secondary prevention.

The Centre for Research on Environment, Democracy and Human Rights, CREDDHO in acronym, in its twentieth year of existence (2018), has been striving since its inception to provide the communities benefiting from its activities with knowledge and practices that enable them to better understand the process of progressive promotion and defence of fundamental rights. For various reasons, the phenomenon of abductions and enforced disappearances has increased considerably in recent years. For various reasons, the scale of the problem has had both disastrous and unexpected consequences in the region. Awareness is important and results in a change of behaviour. And as with the phenomenon of kidnapping and enforced disappearance, the stakeholders should start thinking seriously about how to contain it for more security, growth and peace in the most affected regions. This is how the Centre proposes this tool, whose content will therefore not go back over the totality of the cases, it will not consist of a descriptive presentation of the statistics, but more of an analysis of effects and causalities.

This book called "Physical education practices in disability" is a compilation of works of experiences in training process, and professional field practices of the author, so the bibliographical references are not updated to date; On the other hand, the value of this work consists in showing the path through material documented with certain originality and feasibility of reproduction of different works by the undersigned, taking into account the scarce state of the art, even at present, where at least in the Argentine Republic, the elaboration of knowledge for a better quality of life of the person with disabilities, in this case intellectual, is in debt.

The problem of hearing loss is now becoming increasingly important from a medical and social point of view. Despite some progress made in recent years, the number of individuals with hearing defects is increasing largely due to sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL). Sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) is one of the most common diseases and one of the current problems of otorhinolaryngology. 1-6% of the world's population suffers from severe hearing loss, making social communication difficult.The etiology, pathogenesis, modern methods of diagnostics and treatment of patients with sensorineural hearing loss are analyzed in the monograph, the algorithm of diagnostics and treatment of patients with sensorineural hearing loss is developed and recommendations for doctors are given.This monograph is intended for otorhinolaryngology masters, clinical residents and otorhinolaryngology physicians.
