In this work we want to offer a way to access data (consultation, update, modification ...) on a remote server through a cell phone without having to be connected to the Internet. In other words, we need to set up an SMS gateway (a software + a GSM modem) able to interpret AT commands, perform a number of tasks, be able to communicate with any type of application.

In accordance with the ideal of the world they hope to see, many thinkers aim, among other things, at identifying the problems facing their society in order to apply the appropriate solutions. Plato, noting the difficulties which prevented the wellbeing of his fellow-citizens, proposes them the science of the virtues whose object aimed at predisposing the Athenians to the necessary practice of the good as well in words as in acts, pledge of the life of happiness. He remained persuaded that the daily suffering of his compatriots similar to that of the current societies, was essentially consecutive to the bad conduct of the citizens obnubilated by the all azimuths search of material gains. The science of the Good according to Plato, by its virtues of courage, temperance, justice and wisdom, has for positive effect to divest the human being of all the vices that one recognizes to him commonly to the point to mute him in a benevolent being. It is a knowledge of ideal type allowing the knowing person to transcend the evanescent truths to reach the atemporal realities, generators of the universal values.

This book is about how to acquire, exploit and protect intellectual property assets. Small and medium-sized enterprises in general, and those in the West African region in particular, have very few means of ensuring good management of their intellectual property assets. The aim of this book is to provide them with a simple guide for a non-lawyer to understand the steps and formalities to be completed at all stages: creation of assets, acquisition of titles establishing ownership over the assets, their exploitation, marketing and defence. This guide will enable the reader to understand the specificities of the various intellectual property assets and the possible exploitations. SMEs operate in an environment over which they do not have complete control. As a result, certain actions are the responsibility of governments, which must play their part. The book provides avenues that governments can exploit or explore in order to create an environment in which the owners of intellectual property assets can enforce their rights.

This paper will address the problem of conventionality control, at the national level, of the rights recognized in the International Human Rights Treaties. From a theoretical and practical point of view, we have considered it essential, for the development of this work, to use the methodology of comparative constitutional law, since the adoption of a comparative figure will serve not only to formulate criteria of the legal problems in foreign law, but also to study the existing models, fundamentally, of national constitutional justice.We must also be aware that the current categories of the comparative legal systems have progressively advanced and changed; and this is important, as we will see that there are difficulties at the international level, as in the European system, for the ordinary judges to carry out a diffuse control of conventionality, becoming perhaps a little contradictory since there is no such difficulty with the concentrated control of constitutionality.

In the first part of this study, we examined disability and health as prohibited grounds for discrimination. First of all, we analyzed the social construction of disability which, contrary to the medical model, shifts the problem away from the individual and resituates it in the social processes related to human diversity. Furthermore, we asked ourselves whether illness and inability are able to justify a dismissal or whether they constitute causes of discrimination. It does not seem that the European legislator wants to include them among the prohibited reasons for discrimination. By studying the legislation on protection against discrimination on the grounds of disability we have seen that it has provided solutions where protection against discrimination on the grounds of health status is not regulated. Then, in the second part, we looked at Multiple Discrimination and noted the ineffectiveness of the European legislation and most of the legislation of the EU Member States in combating it.

The mysterious relationship between the foreign investor and the host state has always been described as unbalanced or asymmetrical, since there is a real overprotection of the private party to the point of sacrificing, sometimes, vital interests of the host state of the investment.Far from being pessimistic, like Professor Patrick Juillard who said that: " The conventional system is not balanced, and we do not even see the beginnings of balance on the horizon"We believe that the requirement of conformity of the foreign investment to the law of the host State is a new trend in international investment law and arbitration practice aimed at intensifying the glare of sovereignty and ensuring the reaffirmation of the host State.As a result, a foreign investor who violates the domestic law of the host state risks being deprived of the international protection it seeks. In other words, the domestic legality of the foreign investment is a condition for access to investment arbitration and the benefit of an extremely strong protection system.

The ecological problem in its deepest implications concerns the destruction of our living spaces by a techno-scientific civilization that believes that its action on nature is limitless. At the same time we realize that this destruction of nature is at the same time that of the human being, not only in the physical sense of his possible disappearance from the earth, but also in the sense of the negation of his rights to life and his rights to the future. The death of nature inevitably leads to the death of man, and to avoid this, man must develop amphetous strategies that allow him to change nature without destroying it. He needs a vital balance with the biosphere on which he depends for his survival. This requires a new ethical consciousness, a new humanism grounded in environmental education. This way of thinking and acting will make it possible to reorganize the relationship between man and nature through an ethic of prevention and responsibility, the only one capable of restoring meaning and life to the biosphere and to life as a whole, and opening up a better future.

The issue of the right to health remains a major concern for all humanity in view of its fundamental nature, to the point where its implementation is closely linked to other human rights and its realization depends on the right to quality health care, nutritious food, decent and healthy housing, work, life and a healthy environment. Thus, the effectiveness of this right in the DRC is questioned, because the "good health" of everyone is becoming a utopia because of the failure of the State to create the conditions for the satisfaction of economic and social rights interdependent with the right to health; the circulation of medicines of dubious quality; the absence of laws on the manufacture and sale of medicines and the practice of traditional medicine, etc. This book is a real tool for students and professionals of law, legislators as well as political and health authorities, because the promotion of public health must interest every human being. The book suggests legislative and administrative reforms for the successful implementation of this guaranteed fundamental right.

Far from being an expected and supposedly appropriate solution to the crucial question of the legitimacy of Zairian-Congolese political institutions and their leaders, the political elections in Congo-Zaïre, which are modelled on the Euro-American model but lack the available funds and the necessary logistics Instead of uniting Zairian-Congolese citizens around a common ideal for the development of the country, they divide them and set them against each other for personal and partisan reasons and ambitions, thus supporting the crisis of governance and development mechanisms in this country. Our study wanted to demonstrate that for lack of a patriotic citizenship, political elections in this country are becoming serious problems, while from all horizons one hopes to find through them appropriate answers to the major concerns that the country is experiencing by placing the right people in the right places for the general interest. And with each electoral process, the illusion of a therapy of the Zairean-Congolese evil by the elections turns to disillusion.

In Morocco, on a regional scale, the Beni Mellal Atlas is known for its high groundwater potential and high unit productivity. Considered as the castle of Morocco, it contains a number of springs that exceed 54 gauged by ABHOER (Agence du Bassin Hydraulique de Oued Oum Er Rbia). These springs are either captured for drinking water supply or for irrigation. The most important of these springs is the Ain Asserdoune spring, which supplies drinking water to many urban areas, including the city of Beni Mellal. This scientific contribution, aims to determine the functioning of the spring of Ain Asserdoune in a context of climate change. It aims to identify the variability of the water heights of the spring of Ain Asserdoune, to build a rating curve and finally analyze the flows of the spring of Ain Asserdoune.

This study belongs to the axis of Applied Social Sciences. It seeks to analyse the management model of the institution in view of the transformation of a Technical Unit of Rural Teaching (UTE) in a Local Productive Arrangement (APL). The research problem seeks to answer: how to innovate the management model for the transformation of a Technical Unit of Rural Teaching into a APL? A quali-quantitative and descriptive methodology is used, with the use of participant research. As results it was possible to present a model of APL and to understand the holistic organization by the structural, pedagogical, social participation and management study, indicating opportunities of improvement and innovation capable of subsidizing such model. It was also found that innovation in management for the UTE depends on the configuration of a management method that observes the organization under the general and specific aspect, being flexible to emerging situations. Finally, this task will serve to other institutions to develop their productive and creative potentials, realizing, then, that innovation can and should occur in the current reality of the organization, be it state or private.

The first observation to emerge from the field mission carried out in five provinces of Gabon is the initial absence of a local management method corresponding to the concept of "community forest". This leads to the assertion that the concept is exogenous and that its applicability requires a series of preliminary tests before it can be used on a widespread basis in Gabon. An examination of village management methods for forest areas and resources in extenso does indeed make it possible to identify formulas for partnership and village management that could be used in the implementation of local management that could meet the concept and objectives of community forestry in certain respects. However, there are many traditional management methods, and no single model. This means that the development of community forestry type management cannot be envisaged in Gabon in the form of a single standard model applicable to the entire territory: consequently, the development and adoption of a regulatory framework will have to be carried out a posteriori, since the different management methods.

It is designed to be accessible to all categories of audiences, as security remains a matter of shared responsibility.

Burundi is endowed with a great wealth of natural ecosystems and plant and animal biodiversity, mainly due to the diversity of ecological conditions. It is divided into 11 natural regions that can be grouped into five ecological zones: the Imbo Plain in the West; the Congo-Nile Ridge; the Central Highlands; the Moso Depression in the East, the Mumirwa Escarpments and the Bugesera Depression in the North-East.

The occupation and colonization of Western Paraná, a frontier region, is historically known for its various struggles and conflicts involving mainly farmers, squatters, settlers, jagunços, colonizers and the public power over land ownership. However, in the midst of such widespread disputes, in 1946, a space began to be thought of and built with the aim of organising a community free from the confusion and disputes over land ownership. A community centered in the small property and with the force of arms of Italian and German immigrant descendants fined the first stakes that delimited the physical and cultural borders of a society with individuals carefully pre-selected, as much in religion, as in colour, experience and descent, located in the old Britânia Farm and that became part of the MARIPÁ Colonization Company. In 1951, in this same locality, the city of Toledo was born, and with it new frontiers and new spaces were integrated to the old Britânia Farm. One of these spaces is the Núcleo de São Pedro do Iguaçu. A locality little investigated by local historiography, but that brings in its history serious conflicts over land.

The topicality of the subject inspired this work, as the phenomenon of child domestic workers is so present in the lives of the people of Bamako. Following the survey, the lack of respect for children's rights was observed in the domestic work sector. National and international legal instruments for the protection of children exist, to which Mali has promptly subscribed. When asked why this denial of rights still exists, we were able to determine that the causes are economic, demographic, educational and cultural. The work has thus made it possible to study the situation of child domestic workers in Bamako by analyzing the relationships as well as the living and working conditions of the employers. On the whole, they are bad: very often excessive working hours (up to 14 to 15 hours per day), often poor nutrition, infringement of the moral personality of the children, illegal and precarious status of the work contract, other types of abuse, etc.). Finally, the work concludes with recommendations that can help curb the phenomenon, starting with the most intolerable forms.

Magistrates in French-speaking West African countries are not above the law. This is generally true of their colleagues throughout the world. In French-speaking West Africa, where French is the working language and the law is largely inherited from French law, magistrates may be held liable under certain procedural conditions for their reprehensible behaviour or actions. Judges' liability may be incurred and upheld, especially at three levels: disciplinary, civil and criminal. The legislation of French-speaking African countries in the west of the continent includes a mechanism that gives magistrates jurisdictional privilege. This procedural mechanism protects judges against possible settling of scores and guarantees the independence of the public service of justice.

Taxation, as an economic policy device, should actively contribute to the achievement of the objectives of economic growth and social peace. Therefore, it must be reformed as the economic situation evolves. The new approach to taxation is therefore to ensure a better balance between its purely financial and economic function and its function of guiding and implementing social policy. The dynamics of change, for its part, is that the tax administration is taking up the challenge to be more open to its environment and in phase with it. These are the two axes of reflection that we propose to expose through this work. This work is an opportunity to discuss the main aspects of modernization of the Moroccan tax system to guide the efforts of the Moroccan company to adapt to the major changes that the national economy is experiencing and, particularly, due to the emergence of the global information society.

This course is particularly intended for biology students (3rd year undergraduate in ecology and environment), as well as undergraduate and graduate chemistry students (undergraduate and master in environmental chemistry) who want to get a basic knowledge in the field of environmental analytical chemistry. This handout is the result of reading numerous books, most of which are cited in the bibliographic reference list. It is in accordance with the program approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The objective of this course is to familiarize students with the various environmental analyses (physico-chemical and biological) used to assess and monitor the quality of the environment. This module also gives students an overview of the main Algerian legislation (laws, decrees, orders ..) relating to the protection and preservation of different compartments of the environment.

Karate will make its Olympic debut at the 2020 Games in Tokyo. The internal logic of this activity contains a scoring system and specific modelling that can give trends in decision making. Various strategies seem to be able to lead to victory. But between zero-sum games, possible Nash equilibrium, scoring systems and penalties, should the karateka be offensive or defensive, provoke the exchange or wait? 309 fights were observed through their scoring system. The results offer new perspectives for training. Simple rivalry with the search for domination, sub-optimal balance, scores, penalties: performance in karate must be considered in a systemic way. The question of decision making, which is central here, requires us to place at the heart of future work those of expectations and the notion of self-fulfilling prophecy. This work, carried out in two languages (French and English), raises the problem of the articulation between predefined strategy and initiative in sport karate.

Cervical cancer is the third most common cancer in women in Tunisia. The role of human papillomavirus (HPV) in cervical cancer is well established. In this work, we analyzed the expression profile of p16INK4A as well as the status of HPV infection in cancers of the female genital tract in central Tunisia, including vulvar, vaginal, endometrial and ovarian cancers, and compared our results with those published for cervical cancer. We conducted a retrospective study of 39 cases. HPV infection was studied by in situ hybridisation and p16INK4A expression profile by immunohistochemistry. Overexpression of p16INK4A and HPV infection was significantly observed in carcinoma of the vagina and adenocarcinoma of the endometrium. An association between serous ovarian adenocarcinoma and p16INK4A expression and HPV infection was 66.6%. Our results are close to those reported in the literature, and the association with endometrial and vaginal carcinogenesis is comparable to that observed in the cervix.

The book illustrates general aspects of drying and the conventional techniques involved. The theoretical and empirical models cited are very useful to represent drying kinetics. They describe better and better the simultaneous phenomena of heat and mass transfer in a porous medium. Because of the complexity of the porous medium and the diversity of interactions between phenomena, the study of these transfers remains a topical subject.

Decentralized cooperation between 2 communities requires taking into account the stakes, motivations, interests and expectations of all the actors present in the two territories, and the involvement of the main actors in both the South and the North. The cooperation between Liévin and Balengou was initiated in 1998 by the AFCAPE association. In 2000, the granting of funding by the Liévin town hall for the setting up of a youth work camp with the construction of a resource center at the Balengou high school made it possible to establish an exchange between the two communities, but most of the actions in Balengou are carried out by the associations. The direct link between the Liévin and Balengou town halls is not very perceptible, since there is no official agreement between the Liévin and Balengou town halls. Strengthening the partnership requires the mobilization of all actors, good communication between them, a clear definition of the areas of cooperation, the resources that can be mobilized and the identification of the constraints related to each territory.

The framework of this book traces the path of a global African Christianity as a project for the world of today, in a perspective of inter-foundation of Christian confessions of faith open to the cultural dynamics of different spiritual matrices of humanity. In the current context of the quest for an alter-globalization that is equal to the great dreams and hopes of the people, this path is part of the new challenges of the mission of the Christian communities of the African continent. For Christians today, the time has come to break free from the chains in which sterile religious confessions and their vague dogmatics lock them up and make them deeply fragile. It is time to build a new space of faith in a spiritual pan-Africanism capable of uniting believers around the imperatives of the rebirth of Africa today, in a new imagination for a new dynamic of African life.

Research on the consequences of climate variability on human health is emerging as a new avenue of investigation. One of the questions raised by this climate phenomenon is the resurgence of new vector-borne diseases such as malaria (SCIAMA, 2008). The objective of this study is to show the impact of climate variability on the recrudescence of malaria. Statistical analysis methods were used. To highlight climate variability, we used the calculation of the monthly rainfall coefficient of Alfred Angot (1906), the Nicholson index method (1988), the breakpoint detection method, and the Pettitt statistical test (1979). To evaluate the correlation between "climate fluctuation-malaria recurrence", the correlation coefficient (r) and its statistical significance; Student's test were applied. The results obtained indicate fluctuations in climate parameters in their evolution. This situation is obviously not without consequences on the proliferation of mosquitoes and by ricochet affects the health of populations by malaria.

Wild mushrooms constitute one of the most important renewable non-wood resources in the diet of many populations. In this work, an ethnomycological survey was carried out in three mushroom collecting basins in central Côte d'Ivoire. The results of this survey show that: the populations of these areas have a good knowledge of mushrooms among both men and women (98%). Among the known species, two were widely appreciated by the population, namely Volvariella volvacea and Psathyrella tuberculata. These mushrooms are an important food source. Analysis of the chemical characteristics of the studied mushrooms showed that they are rich in carbohydrates (52.00±1.84 to 64.04±0.68%), proteins (23.47±0.30 to 30.90±0.18%), fibers (7.72±0.19 to 20.13±0.07%), minerals with potassium and phosphorus being the most preponderant, and essential amino acids. These mushrooms have low levels of lipids and toxic minerals. The nutritional values of Volvariella volvacea and Psathyrella tuberculata are higher than those of Lentinus squarrosulus and Auricularia politrich.

Issue: A few recent studies (Cipriani and Haley, 2010; Crowe, 2014) highlight the contribution of occupational therapists in long-term care facilities in providing opportunities for participation in occupations by analyzing the environment and the abilities of older adults. However, certain behavioural, fall or autonomy problems of the elderly mean that alternative measures to restraints are necessary for safety (sound mats, chair positioning, sound monitors, motion detectors). How is it possible then to promote opportunities for occupation while providing alternatives to restraints? To date, there has been little empirical study of this phenomenon in the scientific literature. Objective: The objective of this study is to describe the perception of occupational therapists working in CHSLDs in the context of the use of alternative measures to restraints. It will focus on the description of the alternative measures used, the occupational therapists' perception of these measures and finally their perception regarding occupations and how to make them possible.

In order to diversify its activities to revitalize its economy, Morocco has focused on the industrialization of the country and launched the "National Pact for Industrial Emergence" which aims to install Integrated Industrial Platforms (IIP) which are poles of competitiveness in the Moroccan way, with the aim of forming business ecosystems capable of attracting FDI through various incentives, and where the interaction between actors requires a relational dynamic based on trust. In this paper, we study this relational dynamic that highlights the role of trust in the attractiveness of the territory and in particular the emergence of Tangier as an automotive cluster.
