The transition to a new era is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon, resulting from many economic, geopolitical, technological and socio-cultural factors.The war in Ukraine was a key moment in this transition, where geopolitical tensions between major powers and cultural conflicts between different communities were manifested. This book offers an in-depth analysis of these factors, exploring changes in the global hierarchy, economic globalization, artificial intelligence, cybernetics, biotechnology, cultural diversity, changes in values and social norms, and the use of hybrid warfare.By examining these factors, the book offers a comprehensive and nuanced perspective on this major transformation of our society. Since its inception, the UN has paid great attention to women and the protection of their rights. This protection is marked not only at the level of the UN institutions but also at the level of the world conferences that are organized by the UN in order to promote women and ensure gender equality. However, this protection is hindered by certain limits, these limits go back to obstacles that put in question the effectiveness of the protection of women's rights.

Ecology in general has often been abused in our country. This requires an ecological reform that aims at changing the behavior of people and firms in an ecological direction through incentives (ecological taxes) that affect the tax system. In this sense, ecological tax reform links two systems that have been separated until now: environmental policy on the one hand and tax policy on the other. On the environmental and economic side, better protection is achieved through the introduction of incentive instruments. The objective of these instruments is to change behavior in an ecological direction.

The book covers the history of the Middle East from the creation of its Arab states to the present day. Beyond a history of events, it aims to show that the instability and violence that it continues to experience are as much due to the interference of great powers as to internal factors: failures and divisions of its authoritarian regimes, religious and ethnic heterogeneity of most countries in the region, the rise of radical Islamism. Since the attacks of September 11, 2001, no region has been the scene of so many crises and wars: American invasion of Iraq, chaos caused by NATO's military intervention in Libya, wars in Yemen and Syria involving regional and international powers, Israeli occupation and colonization of the West Bank, resurgence of antagonism between Sunnis and Shiites, emergence of terrorist organizations representing a threat extending beyond the region, influx of migrants into Europe, Iran's hegemonic ambitions, authoritarian drift in Turkey. In the context of a recomposition of alliances and the regional balance of power, the conclusion asks about its future, which does not encourage optimism.

This book whose title is Mundividências e Multivalências da Filosofia: Ecos do Estatuto do pensar em Moçambique brings together five texts written under different circumstances. However, its assumption becomes common - both socio-economic and pedagogical development can be grounded by the equality of intellectual capacities of each and every human being. Development is conceived not only as the increase of a country's economic output - as the World Bank suggests - but as the improvement of living conditions at both the individual and collective level. Intellectual equality is not equivalent to the leveling of different people's intelligences - as Psychology treats it - but a double conviction, individual and inter-individual. The exercise electrocardiogram is an important diagnostic and prognostic tool in cardiology. It consists of maximal or symptom-limited exercise, with continuous recording of an electrocardiogram, BP and other variables such as measurement of respiratory exchanges. Its indications can extend beyond coronary insufficiency and concern rhythmic pathology, provided that it is rigorously interpreted.

The purpose of this book was to contribute to a better understanding of the problems related to cassava production in Nkolo on the one hand, and on the other hand to determine the cultivation system practiced, in order to identify the constraints related to the lack of technology transfer from Research in Nkolo. After conducting surveys among farmers, we are convinced that cassava producers are mostly adult women and that the most dominant age group is between 36 and 55 years old. The majority of producers have been growing cassava for 11 to 20 years and their main source of income is the field. Most producers have little knowledge of the main diseases of cassava, the majority of producers sell cassava after having transformed it into fufu or Chikwanges, then the producers of cassava of Nkolo in general are not affiliated in the development associations and they have a difficulty to work because the majority of the producers work manually because of the lack of working tools.

In the context of social upheaval and following the revolution of January 14, 2011, Tunisia has experienced a new facet. A new political configuration was then imposed with the considerable emergence of associations. With the decree-law n°2011-88 of September 24, 2011, the associative fabric was more organized, that is why we chose to focus on the issue of regulation and the diligence of the auditor within associations.

In this document, we are going to speak first about the territorial division in DR Congo, which division led to the renewal of the political staff; secondly about the stakes, challenges of the last division in which we are going to take a look at the political context; thirdly about the community temptations and security risks to understand very well the renewal of the political staff.

We conducted a prospective cross-sectional study on delusions in psychiatric consultations in Niamey, which brought out their characteristics. These delusions often concerned young, married subjects of both sexes. The thematic content of delusions of persecution conveyed by hallucinatory and interpretative mechanisms was omnipresent. Persecution seems to deeply color the psychology and psychopathology of the Nigerian. In other cases, the concept of persecution borrowed the language of ideas of grandeur. The majority of the delusions had the appearance of an acute delirious breath and the first psychiatric consultation was requested only after 42 days on average. The therapeutic approach of the Nigerian follows an itinerary that leads him first to the traditional healer. Psychiatry often recovers the patient only when the traditional healers have finally given up.

This study is a contribution to the implementation of a strategy that could lead to an inclusive and sustainable management of the natural resources of the Lomako-Yokokala Wildlife Reserve (RFLY). Indeed, although the ministerial decree creating this Reserve specifies in its article 5 that 'the RFLY will also be managed in such a way as to contribute to the socio-economic development of the riparian populations...', the Congolese Institute for Nature Conservation (ICCN) is struggling, despite the implementation of its management plan, to provide satisfactory management results for several stakeholders linked to this State reserve, in particular the riparian population. The systemic and participatory approach followed in this study considered several aspects of governance. It involved all the actors concerned, namely the population, managers, scientists and decision-makers. The study showed that governance problems are acute in this Reserve. The local communities perceive the governance of this protected area as a subjection to the withholding of natural resources by the public authorities.

Violence against women is a tragedy against which all nations must stand up in a multisectoral approach to eliminate it. A woman, there is always something strong that attaches to her.... a mother.... a daughter.... a sister....... a friend.... a love... there is always a reason to lead the fight against this scourge long considered as the fight of women.... we are all called upon.

Today, all the changes in our way of life and our environment with our social and moral relationships have affected our urban way of life in its various structures and relationships. The distribution of work and functions, our land use, modes of transport, industrial and agricultural production, modes of consumption and waste production, certainly, human relations have been affected considerably.The city is indeed the basis of economic and social development and wealth creation, but the social changes have been too rapid to be controlled, because today's society has imposed a way of life where comfort and a whole series of modern conveniences offered by the city are imposed everywhere, creating a standard of living that is becoming generalized and uniform, erasing certain contradictions but revealing glaring disparities. As a result of the modern evolution of the last century, the urban fabric has suffered many damages and transformations and has been hit by many ills and social handicaps. The pace of transformations has not stopped accelerating, and development has become, however, synonymous with destruction and waste of natural resources and balanced human development.

The growing use of the Internet and the development of cyberspace have stimulated new ways of conceiving and determining how we learn, socialize and work. The penetration and interaction of information and communication technologies in the teaching-learning process of the computer science subject in pre-university education is part of the object of study of the research. The approach of the research objective in developing a pedagogical strategy for the implementation of a virtual environment, which allows responding to the shortcomings in the teaching-learning process of the subject Computer Science, identified in the contents of the units "Social networks" and "Tele-training". In the pedagogical strategy, actions are identified in the theoretical and practical order, to design and implement a virtual environment, which guarantees digital contents that serve as audiovisual support and a virtual space for the study and use of a tele-training platform (Moodle). The evaluative results of the implementation strategy were positively endorsed by specialists and users with experience in teaching.

Entering the workplace, attending a hospital, traveling on public transport or having fun in a place of entertainment are all different activities, but they have in common that they are actions carried out within organized, regulated and sustained spaces based on operational parameters of behavior. The functioning of organizations (companies, state apparatuses, trade unions, NGOs, festivals, cultural centers and entertainment spaces) requires the regularization of social behaviors, coordination and supervision of their participants within administrative frameworks oriented towards predictability, stability and efficiency; in organizational spaces people have crossed expectations about the actions of others, they trust that everyone will conform to the protocols and parameters formally established in each organization. The tendencies of rationalization that sustained the organization of capitalism have been confronted in recent decades with centrifugal forces aimed at undermining those orders that made the organizational functioning of economic, political, social and cultural life stable. The following pages analyze scenarios in which heterogeneous tendencies of contemporary rationalization are manifested as effectors and guidelines for the organization of the objective and subjective planes of social life, externalized in the application of intellectual and technical procedures and in the demands of applicability of a consistent and evaluative reflexivity with respect to reliable empirical data or formalized structures structured coherently with a calculability of selection of procedures for the fulfillment of determined ends or the adjustment with ideals and values.

This textbook is the result of academic research to hold a teaching of the same title. It discusses the issues of international relations and the configuration of the world order. If we understand the theme and content, more than half of the countries in the world are still New States in International Relations. Their weight in the international stakes is important, not only because of their potentialities in raw materials, but also because of their rate of economic emergence and their ability to contribute to the search for remedies to the problems of the hour.

Stroke is a condition that affects a significant proportion of the world's population, leading to a number of sequelae. The cost of stroke care is still unknown in many countries. The objective of this study is to evaluate the direct hospital cost of stroke management in Libreville, Gabon. This is a retrospective economic study including patients hospitalised for stroke at the CHUL over a 24-month period from January 2014 to December 2015. 280 cases were included in the study, with a mean age of 58.27 (±13.58). We recorded 63 (22.5%) cases of haemorrhagic stroke and 217 (77.5%) cases of ischemic stroke. The direct hospital cost of managing a stroke was 715,122 CFA francs, i.e. a total cost for all patients of 200,234,160 CFA francs (305,235 euros). The cost per patient of a haemorrhagic stroke was 864,944 CFA francs and 671,625 CFA francs for ischaemic stroke. The cost of stroke management is high. In view of the purchasing power of the Gabonese people, we suggest better insurance coverage and a national policy to subsidise care.

As part of our Master's degree in International Public Health Management, required by MADISON INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE AND BUSINESS SCHOOL, we were required to conduct a research study for our master's thesis. Thus, a research was conducted whose objective was to study the level of access to antiretroviral drugs of PLWHIV prisoners in order to contribute to the development of treatment mechanism for HIV/AIDS in prisons, a disease that seems to be ignored for this category of people. In-depth studies point out the factors related to access or not to ARVs in prisons, also calling upon the actors of the health field and more particularly those involved in the care of HIV patients in general and more particularly in the prison environment. Since the supply of these ARVs is also lacking at a certain time, our research proposed a series of strategies to promote access to ARVs as a contribution to raising the level of access to ARVs in the management of HIV/AIDS and antiretroviral treatment.

This study is conceived from the theoretical perspective of democracy as a fundamental element for human development, with the purpose of investigating how civic values allow the construction of citizenship and this contributes to the strengthening of democracy. The study was conducted through a qualitative approach as methodology, method and technique based on the approach of Valles (1993), using the focus group, the semi-structured interview and the documentary review to understand the importance of civic values from the perspective of the subjects of study. As a result, two aspects linked to the process of construction of citizenship in the Lasallian philosophy were identified, which were defined as human quality and sense of belonging; three significant aspects of the formation of the United Nations For All program were recognized, namely: themes and topics; discourse, argumentation and criticism; and cultivation of friendship; and it was understood that the students' perception of democracy and citizenship has a positive relationship with the theoretical concepts that underlie the research.

The issue of the efficiency of public action and the search for performance are now constant in the thinking of public authorities, both in the Third World and in developed and emerging countries. In France, they have made it possible to draw up a new financial constitution. In Africa, this reflection is particularly acute and has been the focus of researchers' work for many years1 , and has led to a new public finance management or "new public management "2 led by the WAEMU3 . UEMOA has also sought to modernise the public finance management systems of its member 4 states by adopting directives that are in line with the new public management system. The WAEMU has also sought to modernise the public financial management systems of its member states by adopting directives that harmonise legislation and practices in various areas of public financial management. Public finance in the world, and more so in French-speaking African countries, has benefited in recent years from very important developments that have changed its nature. The fundamental reason is that there is an exponential mutation of public finance management which everywhere takes the management model of the company.

This two-volume study, the result of extensive research conducted in France over four years, focuses exclusively on the wife. The first study in its field, it sheds light on the capacity of the wife's unilateral will to break the marriage in two different legal systems, secular and religious. It also opens up a completely new debate on the subject, dealing with the margin of freedom granted to the wife in these two systems. The comparison is made between two women, one subject to French secular law and the other to Islamic law applied in Arab countries drawing its foundations from religious sources. The study aims at discovering which system gives more freedom for the rupture by analyzing the modes of divorce that each system proposes to the wife. The research, which is based on two hypotheses of rupture, without and with determined cause, also deals with the questions still presented before the French justice. The jurists and all those interested in the subject will find a work rich in various doctrinal positions, legislative texts and judicial decisions translated from Arabic for the first time.

Unlike the conflicts of decolonization, the contemporary ones present new characteristics. The current conflicts define a new aspect both at the level of causalities and at the level of strategies and tactics that structure their dynamism. The diachronicity of the facts defines the extinction of certain conflicts and the explosion of others. Therefore, it is appropriate to say that the exit, management and sustainable resolution of a crisis should be driven by security sector reform (SSR) and the disarmament, demobilization, reintegration and resettlement (DDR) program. SSR and DDR consequently improve the socio-economic living conditions of the target actors, i.e., former combatants. The objective of this work is therefore to facilitate (through understanding and guiding actions) the psychosocial restoration of ex-combatants for an efficient return to civilian life.

The objective of this work is, on the one hand, to contribute, correct and complete Leleup and Heuts (1954), on the other hand, to encourage scientists and international institutions of biodiversity conservation to get involved in the safeguarding of this heritage, and to put at the disposal of the decision makers, a set of data in order to reach their affective level, as to - the threats that these natural reserves with defined purposes, with scientific, aesthetic, cultural and educational value, special reserves, these caves characterized by the presence of blind albino fish, species of endemic fish, Caecobarbus geertsii; and - the concern to have some of these caves inventoried on the list of world heritage properties. For, to do nothing would lead ineluctably, in the more or less long term, to the loss of these ecosystems of great universal value. This manual is structured in three parts: the first part presents the state of the caves, the second deals with cave biodiversity and the third proposes an outline of the Mbanza-Ngungu Cave Biosphere Reserve.

Will the Autonomous Port of Douala survive the fierce competition that is coming despite the logic of complementarity so much advocated by the public authorities? Its competitiveness and its impact on the economy of the Gulf of Guinea are at the centre of concerns centred on the contribution of customs revenue to the State budget, the supply of companies and households, the development of exports that stabilise the balance of payments and the reduction of poverty, the basis of the Millennium Development Goals. These basic concerns are threatened by the diversion of traffic by competing ports, the abundant and diversified paperwork that weighs down the procedures, the multitude of participants, the passage times considered too long in relation to international standards and the congestion of the port at the origin of additional costs. The avenues of salvation are the construction of port infrastructures, the simplification, anticipation and dematerialisation of procedures, the development of the road network and the construction of a piggyback line between Edéa and Douala.

Solar energy is one of the most important sources among various types of renewable energies.Algeria is the land of the sun par excellence, compared to other countries in the world. The number of sunshine hours in Algeria is about 3300 hours / year. The climate is very favorable to the exploitation of solar energy in different regions, but the distribution of solar radiation is not well known. Unfortunately, for many developing countries, measurements of solar irradiation are not readily available. Therefore, it is important to develop models for estimating solar irradiance based on available astronomical and meteorological data.

The overall objective of this research is to present a complete numerical approach for the study of TCSA. For this, three specific objectives were defined: i) improvement of the computational model, developing the Compact Computational Model (CCM); ii) definition of the Energy Performance Indicator (EPI) dedicated to the analysis of TCSA; and iii) application of the Constructive Design method, associated with the CCM and the EPI, in a case study of TCSA in a "Y" shape. The results showed that it was possible to: (i) validate and verify the CCM, which presents, among other improvements, the decoupled treatment between the thermal and fluid-dynamic problems, the reduction of the processing time and the possibility to numerically simulate the TCSA in any region of the planet; ii) to prove the effectiveness of PPE, allowing with a single indicator the performance of TCSA to be evaluated, considering thermal and fluid dynamic parameters; and iii) to define the optimal TCSA configuration in "Y", generating a monthly electric energy economy of up to 117.72 kWh (heating), in cold periods, and 74.13 kWh (cooling), in hot periods.

The emergence of a new economic situation has pushed management to implement new strategies and, at the same time, new management tools. This dissertation aims to expose the methods of performance management but does not aim to treat the theme of performance in a global way for all categories of organizations. We have deliberately limited ourselves to the framework of a target organization. This case is interesting because a number of large groups have adopted this approach to manage their information systems.
