The liberal and modernist policies of rural development initiated by the Congolese State would be conceived by international partners without the participation of those concerned, the farmers. This unequal relationship between these different actors would explain the situation of economic, political and cultural poverty of the latter. From then on, development aid appears to be a sword in the water in the face of the countless problems of the peasants, which are growing stronger with the passing of time. In this context, a new approach to action and research is essential. The actor and researcher in rural development should spend a lot of time in this environment, where they are called upon to dialogue, to list the problems and to choose the action to be taken with those concerned. He is also invited to productivity, self-management and self-evaluation with the group in action.

This paper examines Polish foreign policy towards the Republic of Belarus in 1990-2020 and how it changed in different periods of time. The relevance of the topic lies in the new periodization of Belarusian-Polish relations in the period 1990-2020, the main criteria of which are events related to the geopolitical changes in the region and related political decisions of the two countries. The analysis of Poland's actions in relation to Belarus was carried out, problematic fields in Polish foreign policy were found, and the tools of Polish influence in the territory of Belarus that exist at the moment were identified. An important point is also the insufficient number of Belarusian works with a geopolitical bias concerning Polish foreign policy in the Belarusian direction, and those that exist rarely go beyond an overview of the events of diplomatic and economic interaction between the two countries. This is the key point in arguing the relevance of the work, which primarily focuses on geopolitical and civilizational factors in the relations between Minsk and Warsaw.

This manual addresses the problem of managing boreholes equipped with Human Powered Pumps (HPP) in the commune of Doulougou located in the province of Bazèga, Centre-Sud region. It is part of the context of the National Drinking Water Supply Program adopted in 2016. This program aims to achieve universal access to drinking water by 2030 in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals to which Burkina Faso has subscribed. It makes a diagnosis of the current management of the PMH in the rural commune of Doulougou. It shows that the commune of Doulougou has 174 boreholes equipped with Human Powered Pumps (HPP) with a functionality rate of 86.2%. These various facilities have contributed to achieving a 91.0% access rate to drinking water for the commune's population. The study also shows that the management system for the PMHs applied in the villages is community management. However, the principles defined by the reform of the management system for water supply infrastructure in rural and semi-urban areas are not fully respected.

The experiences, although sometimes dichotomous but complementary, of life in the academy, on the one hand, as a student, learning philosophy, and, on the other hand, as a teacher, teaching philosophy to high school students, in the first moment, and to undergraduate students, aspiring high school philosophy teachers, in the second moment, necessarily make me a participant, not an indifferent one, in the historical plot of Philosophy in Mozambique. Therefore, it is from this place where I providentially find myself and participate that, through this work, in a reflective but not conclusive manner, I examine, contextualize and share the wealth of learning (knowledge, ideas, information) and some details concerning the contours, mishaps and advances of Philosophy, particularly concerning its learning and teaching in Mozambique. In fact, by equating and highlighting the aspects of life experiences, it is important to mention that I am not guided by the awareness of value judgment, but by the contributive and aggregating perspective of perceptions, observations and suggestions towards a new look of philosophy with a view to its promotion, ascension and maintenance in the country.

While recalling the relativity of the phenomenon of decriminalization, the present study, which focuses on the decriminalization of moral offences, intends to highlight the particularities of this decriminalization. Indeed, decriminalization, a criminal policy movement known to all legislations, is deployed by adopting the contours proper to the evolution of each society. This said, although the question of the decriminalization of moral offences has not been approached by the doctrine under this formulation, the analysis of each decriminalization movement having extended to each of the offences constituting this precise category, taken in a global manner has made it possible to highlight its particularities with regard to the other decriminalization movements that have taken place in other fields. These peculiarities were revealed both in terms of the modes and the content of the decriminalization process.

This book analyses the governance of public finance management reforms in a context of fragility. It is informed by the author's experience in the field, where he has worked for several years in the engineering of public finance management reforms, including diagnosis, design, implementation, evaluation, technical assistance and international comparisons. It describes the different manifestations of fragilities that can impact the reform environment, disrupt its trajectory and reflect on the set objectives and expected results. It proposes a project management approach for conducting public finance management reforms, distinguishing between project ownership and implementation, and identifying all the other actors with their respective roles as well as the spaces for dialogue for the successful construction of the reform. It makes a clear distinction between reforms that are urgent and those that must stand the test of time, by putting into perspective the diagnostic tools that enable a good reform strategy to be built.

Introduction: The progressive increase in the incidence of cancer during the last decades has turned it into a health problem. In the oral cavity they manifest as whitish lesions; leukoplakia is one of the most frequent potentially malignant disorders. The histopathological changes of leukoplakia are very diverse. The study of these disorders could be supported with the use of morphometry. Objective: To describe morphometric variables in the mucosa of the oral cavity in patients with leukokeratosis. Conclusions: Epithelial thickness, cytoplasmic area, volume and nuclear profile presented higher average values in the tongue region, the thickness of the corneal layer showed higher figures in the lip; the circularity of the nucleus and the inflammatory infiltrate behaved similarly in the different regions and the nuclear area was higher in the mucosa of the cheek.

Lung cancer is the third leading cause of worldwide incidence of neoplastic diseases, and the leading cause of death from this disease. Inflammation is known to play a vital role in the spread of cancer cells. The aim of this work was to evaluate whether inflammatory indices determined by neutrophil/lymphocyte and platelet/lymphocyte ratios in lung cancer patients have a prognostic value for survival and/or predictive of the effect of immunotherapy treatments with CIMAvac-EGF, CIMAher (nimotuzumab) and VAXIRA (racotumomab). For this purpose, the levels of neutrophils, platelets and lymphocytes were measured after diagnosis, the ratios between the different cells were calculated and overall survival was estimated using the Kaplan Meier method. Likewise, the cut-off points where the difference between the different groups was greater were found, in order to establish whether the inflammatory indices studied were predictors or prognostic of survival. The results of the present investigation showed that low inflammatory indexes are good predictors of long survival and good prognosis.

The aim of this report is to establish a concept for interprofessional education including recommendations for competences and training objectives common to all professions engaged in collaborative practices. It also proposes methodological recommendations for the delivery of educational content (interprofessional modules, team learning) that take into account existing materials at university level, but also the systematics and materials valid for secondary and tertiary level, as well as the different competences, responsibilities and legal requirements in force (LPMéd, LHES, LFPr, etc). These recommendations can be integrated into the curricula and objectives of the academic training of physicians. However, they also take into account the same criteria for the basic training of health professionals who work with them in an interprofessional manner. This concept represents a first step in the structured and coordinated introduction of CAI into university medical education and health professions training.

Since 2013 in Cameroon, instead of industrial free zones and free points, the law on economic zones has come into force, which provides a framework and guidance for foreign investments. The purpose of this study on companies admitted to economic zones resolutely raises the issue of fiscal measures put in place by the legislator to encourage the installation and operation of companies in economic zones. These measures are considered attractive and tempting by some investors when they read the laws. Following the law on private investment in Cameroon and the more recent law governing economic zones, it has been noted that an incentive tax system has been progressively put in place to encourage the establishment and operation of companies through the reduction of taxes and duties. However, these attractive measures are to be put into perspective for companies benefiting from automatic admission, such as companies in free zones and free points. It is also put into perspective by the burdens created by the new incentive regimes.

This research aims to understand how to process the music education of teachers of the municipal education network building its relationship with the cultural spaces of the city. Having in Paulo Freire and Perrenoud as theoretical framework, the empirical data were taken from teachers who are part of the Cultural Horizons Program, Rio de Janeiro, from 1997 to 2002. Through the reports of their life stories, it was sought to understand schemes and strategies constructed in the musical education carried out in the family life, in the school organization and in the wider social context, contributing to representations in adult life. The boundary between music and play is marked by a set of schemes of thought and actions, which put on one side the musical experience in the family context and on the other side the school musical experience, preventing this teacher to recognise his knowledge and to attend without constraints all the cultural spaces of his city; defensive and protective strategies guarantee the survival in the daily life of these adults (camouflage of their cultural identity, denial of the spontaneous and use of "command songs").

This book provides an approach to the research work done with people performing a stressful activity, capturing their biological data such as temperature, heart rate and blood pressure to verify the level of control they can have in simulated critical situations. A few decades ago, science and psychology knew very little about the mechanisms of emotion. But recently, and with the help of new technological means, the mysterious and obscure panorama of what happens in our organism while we think, feel, imagine or dream has been clarified for the first time. Thanks to the brain scanner it has been possible to unveil the function of our brains and in this way science has a powerful tool to talk about the enigmas of the heart and try to explain the most irrational aspects of the psyche. The concept of Emotional Intelligence has reached every corner of our planet. Daniel Goleman has tried to unravel the factors that determine the marked differences that exist.

The cinematographic art has, since its genesis, a close relationship with the urban space. Besides having in the creation of modern cities the driving moment for its development, this space was also used as a protagonist by the cinema in its first productions. Cinema emerges then as a great visual architect, bringing to the screen diverse ways to consume the urban space imaginatively. Through the possible varieties of orchestration of the cinematographic codes, the cinema produces different experiences in the space - spectator relationship. Based on this assumption, the present book proposes a reflection on a possible urban poetics produced by contemporary Northeastern cinema, focusing on the analysis of the films A Febre do Rato and Cidade Baixa.

The concept of impulsivity refers to a variety of behaviors that are performed prematurely, excessively risky and inappropriate. It is therefore important to be able to assess it and to specify its impact on sleep quality and emotion regulation. The objectives of our work were to assess impulsivity in medical students and to study its relationship with emotion regulation, sleep quality and sociodemographic data. Methods: This was a descriptive and analytical cross-sectional study of 100 students in the Faculty of Medicine of Sfax. The assessment of impulsivity showed that our medical students adopted impulsive behaviors and attitudes. Their mean total score was 66.78 ± 9.44. Of the participants, 25% had a high degree of impulsivity (score > 72). Students with high impulsive potential had more difficulty identifying their emotions, accepting them, becoming aware of them, and managing them. Poor sleep quality was observed in 40% of our students. The increase in impulsivity was associated with male gender (p=0.002).

The book is characterized by the analysis of the legal protection of the family asset against possible expropriation in the face of judicial executions. The institute of protection aims not only at the protection of the family asset, but the maintenance of the family as a whole. The possibility or not of expressly waiving the legal protection of the family asset is analyzed, when the executed party himself offers this asset for attachment. Thus, based on judgments, doctrine and legislation, it is an elaboration of a reflective-legal thought of the importance of this institute so well protected.

Strategic management for the establishment of flexible structures in the university as determinants of quality and competitiveness seems a title too complex and sophisticated. This book is an ambitious project to provide universities with a management model that inserts them in competitive environments and makes them a set of people and sectors committed to producing actions of undeniable quality, with consistent levels of productivity. The first presupposes the search for recognition by society of what a university is capable of doing. The second translates the concern with the survival of the university itself as a living organization. And they have a crucial impact on the conceptual and critical characterization of the university itself.

Disaster risks (floods and droughts) have a direct impact on people's access to basic social services and livelihoods. It is important to build resilience in two pilot communes, namely Touna in the Segou region and I in the Bamako district, through a tool that enables communities to prevent, mitigate, prepare for and respond to disaster risks. Thus, mapping facilitates the understanding and assessment of the impact of floods and droughts on people's livelihoods and the analysis of coping strategies to address them. -Populations affected by floods from 2002 to 2012 in Touna commune: 30% of the population of 18 villages = 7042 people -Populations affected by droughts from 1970 to 2011 in Touna commune: 70% of the population of 24 villages = 23,875 people -Populations affected by floods from 1985 to 2013 in commune I: 2% of the populations of 5 neighbourhoods = 4087 people -Populations affected by droughts from 1970 to 2011 in commune I: 0.5% of the populations of 9 neighbourhoods = 1760 people

Mortadella, over the years, has gained a lot of credibility and followers in all social strata in Brazil, becoming an exquisite product. The green banana is appropriate to the preparation of by-products, such as biomass, due to its high content of resistant starch and fibers. The present work had as objective the development of a mortadella added of fibers by the addition of green banana biomass and linseed and the reduction of fat by the addition of pectin and carrageenan. Four formulations with banana biomass were elaborated, and in 3 formulations, besides the addition of biomass, 1% flaxseed was added and the partial replacement of fat by carrageenan and pectin in the proportions of 0.5, 0.3 and 0.1% was performed. The samples were submitted to chemical composition, microbiological and sensorial analyses. The samples proved to be suitable for human consumption in the microbiological evaluation and within the standards required by legislation for the chemical composition. The sensory evaluation showed that carrageenan and pectin can be added to replace fat, allowing a reduction in the fat concentration of the product.

Gone are the days of the peasant actively trying to send money from the village market place to his child who has gone to the city for school. Today, simple and convenient new means of payment (NMP) are driving a revolution in the way people interact with money. Through electronic money, which facilitates the development of financial inclusion of populations that were once on the bangs of traditional circuits, financial institutions and non-bank operators in CEMAC have the latitude to expand their scope of activity and increase their revenues. This new situation seems to be more of an opportunity than a threat for those players who see the sustainability of their activities in innovation in order to capture the profitability niches that are being created. NMPs are a lever for reducing the financial divide, provided that there is a real awareness of the strategic and operational levels. In addition, the promotion of a true digital trust industry is necessary to safeguard the gains made in financial inclusion, so much so that it influences growth.

The theme of reading is present in various educational research materials; however, the state of the art shows that very little of the research related to the area of reading emphasizes the school library, the space that welcomes readers and books. What happens is as if reading were disconnected from the school library, being an action and a space that do not exchange ideas and learning opportunities. The present research "From (con)experience in the library to an eternal romance with books" questions how the experience in the library space is integrated in the pedagogical proposal of the school and contributes to the achievement of lifelong readers, analysing theorists that contextualise literature and also the library and its multiplicity in school experiences. Based on qualitative research, this study met five libraries in the southern region of the country and interacted with its public, as well as with librarians, teachers and pedagogical coordinators, who illustrate the theoretical research, building reflections so that new looks can be given to this space.

The Integrated Agricultural Development Project (PDAI) is different from the CRDA in terms of its methodological approach, which is based on information, communication, concerted diagnosis, and the involvement of the target population, informally organized in 54 development councils in the 54 Imadats (CDI(s)), making up the project's intervention area. The project also helped the inhabitants to prepare 54 participatory development plans (PDP), whose actions were technically and socio-economically validated by the engineers of the CRDA and other agricultural and rural development partners, including the 54 Imadats composing the intervention area of the second phase of the integrated agricultural development project (PDAI.), where a series of problems that also hinder agricultural and rural development were identified. The PDAI has not provided the CRDA with a development model capable of resolving the main problems hindering the performance of the agricultural sector, such as the rational management of natural resources, private investment, indebtedness, and the integration of youth.

Carbon sequestration by plants in agroforestry practices is not only an effective solution to cool the planet by reducing atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2), but also a way to fight against food insecurity in the South. Its implementation within the framework of the climate resolutions on the limitation of greenhouse gas emissions and the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), could generate profits on the monetary and food levels. 10,000 hectares of agroforestry with Faidherbia albida will sequester 3,826,106 tons of CO2 equivalent over 60 years and increase crop yields by more than 100% on 3,110 hectares after 60 years. Another unassessed effect would be the improvement of rainfall and rainfall and the control of erosion (water and wind) and the generation of additional income through the sale of Jatropha curcas seeds to be used as a living hedge.

This document informs on the knowledge learned during the implementation of the mutual health insurance extension project in the Boucle du Mouhoun region of Burkina Faso. Community-based mutual health insurance is a reliable alternative in our countries with limited resources to help break the financial barrier to health care. This experience, which was capitalized on in this health region, clearly shows the feasibility and effectiveness of implementing community-based mutual health insurance in our country. Above all, this experience presents the levers for sustaining the achievements and the mechanisms for scaling up. The development of community-based mutual health insurance by the NGO ASMADE according to the approach of "one commune, one mutual," "one region, one union," effectively constitutes a gateway for developing and stimulating other approaches to access to health care for the population towards universal health coverage. It is now time for health policies aimed at fee-for-service exemptions to be supported and linked intelligently with this community model.

This book addresses the challenges of implementing Resolution 1325 in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In its four pillars: prevention, participation, protection, and relief and recovery efforts, 1325 offers a broad scope for study and research. Regardless of which pillar is studied or researched, it is apparent that 1325 has made significant inroads in its implementation while at the same time major challenges remain. The author focused on the participation pillar by going beyond the strict framework of conflict to study the challenges related to women's participation in decision-making bodies in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Conducted in 2009 as part of a symposium organized by the Gender in Action Network on the theme of "Gender and Governance" in its political participation component, the study noted the contribution of the 1325 and analyzed the challenges to be overcome in a country where women's representation in decision-making bodies is still low. Hence the plea for a massive political involvement of women among the possible solutions.
