This study proposes an analysis of the Piper umbellatum (Tshilombolombo) sector in Kinshasa through a socio-economic survey of 51 actors active in the UPN, Somba-Zigida, Liberté and Matete markets in Kinshasa. The results indicate that women are in the majority in the Piper umbellatum sector, i.e. 96.1%. These actors have reached the secondary school level and are all from the provinces of Kasai-Oriental and Kasai-Occidental. The sale of Piper umbellatum contributes 94% of the overall household income for all the vendors surveyed. Our results show that 90% of the Piper held by the surveyed vendors come from Kasai Oriental and Kasai Occidental, while 10% come from Bas-Congo and the Kinshasa hinterland.

The teacher is one of the actors who intervene in the education sector. He is not only a master (magister) whose knowledge is admired, but also an example, a model of life to imitate. For just as the child imitates his parents because they are for him the finished image of himself, so is the teacher for his pupils. A defective education, that is to say, one whose content leaves something to be desired, affects the beneficiary person with irreversible defects; but also shortcomings or notorious deficiencies on the part of the trainer have incalculable consequences on the person to be trained. This is why, in order to educate the learners, the protagonists must have competence, intellectual, moral and spiritual qualities. For in the process of education, there is also a certain degree of voluntary participation of the person to be educated. It does not undergo the education, but it co-acts.

Stroke is an event threatening the life and the physical and/or psychological integrity of the subject who is exposed to it. There are many psychiatric manifestations secondary to strokes. Among these manifestations, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is one of the most common neuropsychiatric manifestations. The objectives of this work were to estimate the prevalence of post-stroke PTSD in elderly subjects and to research the factors that are correlated to it. Our study was cross-sectional, descriptive and analytical. The average age of our sample was 75.2 years with a standard deviation of 7.9 and extremes of 65 and 95 years, with a sex ratio (M/F) of 0.89. The prevalence of post-stroke depression was 41.8 %, the prevalence of PTSD was 27.3%. The mechanisms of post-stroke depression and PTSD are rich and make the study of the psychiatric impact of stroke a privileged meeting place for the sciences of the mind.

The notion of sentence knows several controversies because of its controversial definition. The endless researches carried out on this notion could not give it a homogeneous definition because it takes several forms and structures corroborating its status of complex sentence. Borrowed from linguistics, stylistics tries to propose a unique approach in which all its possible points of analysis would be combined. With Georges Molinié, the stylistic study of the sentence is explored under the questions of intrasyntagmatic and suprasyntagmatic order. So, this approach of the French-speaking African poetry allows to understand the deep meaning of these sentences with distorted structure. Clearly, the reflection carried out on these poetic works also proposes an opening on the transphrastic. This study, by the channel of this Ivorian poetic microcosm, makes it possible to see that in the sentence is found the aesthetic because the perfection of the style is built starting from its phrastic dimension.

This book by Muhunga Ramazani w'Apolo is a narrative that recalls the collective memories of certain fundamental aspects of the Bembe culture from different periods in several sectors of life. It deals with the different trials that the Bembe people have gone through since the colonial era, through the slave trade and the national independence of the country, the DR Congo, until they settled in Tanzania as refugees.This people, whose origins are reported in at least fourteen African countries, has developed a social way of life in accordance with its essentially traditional and spiritual beliefs: belief in one God "Abeca Pùngu, Abeca Mwene-Ikùlù, Abeca Mwene-Malango, Abeca Mwene-Batù", Abeca M'mbùmba Esé n'Ikùlù (Omnipotent God, Omnipresent God, Omniscient God, Creator of man, of the Heavens, of the earth and of the whole universe).His art has strongly marked history and also evokes the functioning of a society where the cult of the ancestors dominates. But over the years, this people has gone through hard times in its history and this is what this work proposes to relate in a few lines.

American naturalist writer, John Steinbeck is inspired by social facts or the life of humanity of which he has a perfect knowledge to have more or less experienced. His abundant novelistic production places man at the center of his poetics. Thus, he tackles great themes that have become part of the history of literature, such as misery, death, social injustice and freedom. Steinbeck's poetics is thus total as it is interested in the man in all his dimensions: social, political, material, psychological... etc. And one notes thus in the texts of the American author a subversive messianism which confers an existentialist character to his writing. An interrogation of the approach of the characters by the novelistic theory, much better of all the categories of the novel allows to highlight the particularity of the messianic writing in the works of John Steinbeck.

The family as a system gave birth to family therapy. The family is considered as a system; in his approach, the family therapist looks at the family system and takes into account all the family members and their relationships. The family therapist will work on the relationships of the family members to bring about the change that is the goal of the therapeutic process. Family psychotherapies appeared in the United States in the 1950s. The members of the Palo Alto school were the first to propose family therapy, initially aimed at the families of schizophrenic patients. This technique was later extended to other types of families and pathologies, under the general name of systemic family therapy. The systemic approach considers that the individual is part of a system, or even of several systems. And that he is influenced in his way of being by himself as well as by others and his environment.

Educating for Freedom: Education as a mechanism of (re)socialization of inmates is the result of an impressive walk behind the scenes of prisons that use educational methodologies to offer new paths in the lives of people who committed crimes and, because of that, were deprived of their freedom. It is composed by the restlessness to elucidate social questions about the daily life of incarcerated individuals who, despite having their freedom suppressed, build hope to return to social coexistence.

The end of the 20th century was marked by an important change in international life. This event of historical significance occurred since the structural change of the international scene following the fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989. Since then, the balance of power, dominated by bipolarity, has been profoundly modified. These changes have not spared the African regions. They have, however, had a snowball effect in Africa, particularly in the Great Lakes region. This new era marked the entry of the Democratic Republic of Congo, then Zaire, which lost its leadership to other regional powers. From then on, this state with sub-continental dimensions became very vulnerable and unstable, as evidenced by the various wars to which it was subjected. As a result, the changing geopolitical situation in the region requires the DRC to rethink its foreign policy in order to better adapt to these changes and eventually regain its former position. These are the major concerns that are examined in this book.

The worldwide massification of the use of smartphones and the penetration of the Internet in large regions of the world, allowed the growth of the Fintech industry, which from the combination of the above mentioned factors plus the use of ICT's allowed the creation of new instruments and forms of organization to develop tasks that previously required human presence and now became remote and within reach of the hand, making operations in real time from and to anywhere in the world. One of the advantages of the fintech industry is that it allows the financial inclusion of vast sectors of society that were outside the traditional banking system, either due to lack of knowledge, disinterest, inaccessibility or not having the necessary profile to be a customer of a financial institution. The massification of the use of electronic wallets has resulted in many previously excluded groups of individuals entering the digital financial system.

The positive effect of calcium intake on bone health is widely accepted based on experimental, preclinical and clinical data. Calcium contributes significantly to the development and maintenance of a bone structure capable of resisting mechanical stress and therefore to the prevention of fractures. Thus, the prevention of osteoporosis requires, among other things, an adequate daily intake of calcium. In Senegal, the acquisition of osteodensitometry equipment and the first studies carried out show the reality of osteoporosis. In this book, the authors report on a preliminary study that assessed the daily calcium intake of postmenopausal Senegalese women from their basic diet.

This book gives an overview of the many wars between Russia and a number of countries from the 13th century until its invasion of Ukraine in 2022. During this history, how many times the country has changed its name, its territory has changed in size, has experienced victories and defeats, has known periods of apogee and decline, has invaded countries and has been invaded, hence its warlike history, which scares others, and is scared of others. Throughout this history, Russia has established different alliances and partnerships with different countries, which has allowed it to theorize and practice a geopolitics of its own, influencing there the different world orders and forming Empires, including the possible fifth Empire envisaged by President PUTIN.

In Cameroon, the collective memory is reinforced in its representations by a legal-political system which means that only men are magnified and almost canonised for their actions in the struggle for independence. This system is a real handicap for the social and political integration of women. Given our social context, women lack the reference points and motivation to engage fully in political struggles. Despite the efforts made in this respect, there is a meagre presence of women in politics. This under-representation dates back to the years before independence. In fact, colonial governance, which can be seen today in the regulatory acts, injunction documents, letters and other reports produced at that time, laid the foundations for the construction of a certain subalternisation of women in the public sphere. These texts highlight the socio-political and economic dynamics of the various social actors. Thus, it can be said that the absence of women among the national heroes is justified by their systematic exclusion from the public sphere by the French colonial administrators in Cameroon in the 1950s.

The weekly market of Diaobé in Senegal, located in the south not far from the borders of Guinea Conakry, Guinea Bissau and the Gambia, is a place where different actors from different backgrounds, including street vendors, restaurant owners and rickshaw drivers, carry out commercial activities. Customers and vendors find almost everything they need in this market, including foodstuffs and other products for their consumption; hence the role that the weekly market of Diaobé plays in ensuring food security for these very poor populations. It is also important to note that this weekly market plays an important role in sub-regional economic integration given the volume of trade between actors in these border countries. The weekly market of Diaobé thus contributes to poverty reduction.

This work is the result of the participation of the academic colleagues of our State Union of Academic Staff of the Universidad Veracruzana FESAPAUV, Poza Rica - Tuxpan region, in the 1st Regional Virtual Forum, "Virtuality, a labor challenge" held in October 2021 under the remote mode. The purpose of the labor meeting was to gather to contribute with the effort and commitment that characterizes us as a region through the manifestation of our ideas expressed in collective and personal proposals in order to increase union, academic and professional improvement as mandated by our Internal Statute and demanded by the academic community and society in general.

Ovarian granulomatous tumors are non-epithelial neoplasms of the ovarian genital tract and belong to the group of granulomatous-stromal tumors. The most probable source of the development of these tumors is granulomatous ovarian primordial follicles as a result of hormonal imbalance.The results of this study allow us to expand our understanding of the etiology, course of ovarian granulomatous tumors in different age groups, and its etiopathogenetic relationship with other benign and malignant associated neoplasms, as well as the role of tumor markers and hormone levels in predicting the course of this neoplasm.The final result of this study will be a study of risk factors for metastasis and recurrence of granulomatous ovarian tumor depending on the stage of the disease at the time of detection, the patient's hormonal status, and treatment tactics.

I dedicate this study to all the enslaved workers in the Brazilian Amazon region, who are without a voice, without rights and without dignity, and to those people who, like me, cannot omit themselves from this reality. Most cities in the Brazilian Legal Amazon have not yet managed to evolve in the municipal management of solid urban waste, the practice of dumps is still high, compromising the environment and public health. The lack of public resources, the reduced urban development index and the non-compliance with the Environmental Legislation contribute to this scenario without harmony with the environmental quality of the cities. Facing these problems in technical and political aspects has become urgent.

The present work describes the panorama of transformations in socio-cultural and economic relations in the manufacturing world in Paulista-PE in the last decades of the 20th century, collective memory, social movements, workers' identity and belonging, as well as their consequences for current and future generations, inserted into the logic of local development and sustainability in the set of public policies.

The objective of this work is to monitor the content of organic matter, carbon, potassium, phosphorus and trace elements in soils amended with sewage sludge compost and poultry manure at a rate of 3 tons per hectare respectively. The different amendments applied increase the amount of organic stock, fertilizing elements and trace elements in the soil compared to the control. Throughout the organic carbon monitoring, the soil amended with poultry manure had an organic carbon content of 1.47%, which is an increase of about 107% compared to the unamended soil. However, after a compost amendment, the organic carbon content of the soil increased to 1.26%, an increase rate of 77.5%. The contribution of organic amendments to the increase in soil available phosphorus is quite significant. Indeed, compared to the control, compost and poultry droppings provided 183.4% and 226.7% of available phosphorus respectively. Regarding exchangeable potassium, compost and poultry droppings provide respectively 89.77% and 110.71% more exchangeable potassium compared to the control.

It is important to know that a researcher does not necessarily have a status that recognizes the specificity of his work. A researcher is someone whose professional function is to contribute to the production of scientific works: books, novels, collections of poems, pamphlets, short stories... He/she may not have the rank of researcher, but may be considered as such by the community. He may be a volunteer member of an association or an NGO, an engineer in a high-tech company or a member of a research laboratory.

This book had the intention to develop an intervention that proposed to divulge the Zequinha Barreto Institute, aiming to rescue the memory of Osasco, in particular the metallurgists strike of 68, through the figure of one of its leaders: José Campos Barreto. We demonstrate, therefore, our concern in recovering the period of the military dictatorship, 64-85, among young people. Through the theoretical support apprehended in the course of Communication Management: policies, education and culture, we approached issues referring to culture, language, memory and discourse in order to arrive at the research, in which we found propitious results to propose to the Institute an intervention, with a view to obtaining its recognition in Osasco, not only as a centre where someone is honored, but as a prominent place, which is a reference in the city, with the purpose of gathering young people and adults for discussion and for the construction of a new historical variable.

Environmental issues present themselves as a matter of great social importance nowadays. Given the increasing occurrence, behavior and commitment to this situation in order to minimize the consequences of these anti-environmental attitudes for the future. With emphasis on these issues and in this context arises the need to make an approach to how education is fundamental in the process of forming the citizen. This book aims to present theoretical subsidies capable of undertaking education for sustainability in order to contribute to the development of environmental awareness.

Geophysical methods have the ability to characterise salt beads in complex geological context and in urban tropical environments. Since the results of direct (in situ) well water analysis are consistent with the results of geophysical measurements in ERT and EM, it can be concluded that geophysics is an extremely powerful tool for the localisation of salt intrusion, however it should be kept in mind that precise knowledge of the geological structure is often necessary for the interpretation of the results obtained by this approach for the characterisation of the salt wedge. These geophysical methods effectively characterise the study of the Continental Terminal aquifer at the edge of Lake Nokoué in Benin. The geophysical results were confirmed by earlier studies by (Boukari, 2008 and Malik, 1998) which also revealed, as did the electrical conductivity measurements, that it was essentially a saline intrusion from the Godomey well field coming from Lake Nokoué.

Because of their anchorage in the economic sector, industrial property rights constantly arouse passions. If the holders of exclusive rights on these intangible goods benefit from competitive advantages over their competitors, the recognition of the monopoly of exploitation does not protect the holders from acts of spoliation by third parties. Faced with conflicting interests, the revised Bangui Agreement establishes the necessary response mechanisms to protect the interests of the holder of the violated rights. It is the civil and criminal liability of the infringer that makes it possible to understand the extent of this protection when it is implemented.

Long relegated to second place because it was considered a support function that did not require real expertise, the purchasing function was slow to take center stage in management and academia. Even today, although managers around the world recognize its strategic nature, it is still underestimated. One only has to judge its level of involvement in strategic decisions in companies or the derisory number of publications that are made on its subject. This is paradoxical, when we know that managers agree that the purchasing function manages an average of 60% of a company's turnover. With this in mind, we looked at this function in Cameroon, in order to analyze its determinants, taking as a framework of analysis the water and electrical energy sector. The result of our analysis is that in its current state of operation, the purchasing function is not cut out to play the strategic role it should and to provide the company with a sustainable competitive advantage in the light of Jay B. Barney's Resource Based View. Barney's Resource Based View.

In principle, fertilization is internal to the human species. However, it can happen that the phenomenon of procreation does not take place in a natural way in the case of infertility or sterility. Therefore, it is necessary to resort to other forms of procreation, even artificial ones. These artificial reproduction techniques deserve some attention in our context. The legal framework of this practice not being especially defined, our curiosity is attracted by the APCPF which comes to lay the bases of a medical assistance to procreation. Thus the problem of the legal regime of MAP in the preliminary draft arises. On this subject, one can note not only a rigorous arrangement of the establishment of filiation by MAP, but also a measured protection of the parties to the MAP. This is justified in particular by the respect of the principles and conditions intended to govern MAP, the simplified arrangement of the effects of filiation of the child and the paradoxical responsibility of the parties. Indeed, this framework results from the consideration of the best interest of the unborn child by ensuring a credible filiation.
