This book addresses different issues related to the complex relationship between technology, society and education, focusing on interdisciplinary discussions and perspectives. The articles were written by researchers from different areas of knowledge, including English Language, Literature, Philosophy, Pedagogy and Literature. The aim of the publication is to offer multiple perspectives on digital technologies and social and discursive practices. Language, Education, Infoinclusion, Information Society, Culture, Public Policies and Socio-cultural Relations in the Amazon are some of the themes covered. All the chapters here were written based on studies, research and discussions carried out over the last few years in the educational context of the Amazon region, since the book's aim is to offer a diversity of discussions that allow us to look at issues of digital culture, technologies and social practices mediated by technologies.

This is a final year thesis presented by the author in 2008. The text is the result of a two-year internship at the Ministry of Health's National AIDS Programme, in the Foreign Cooperation Unit and the International Centre for Technical Cooperation on HIV/AIDS. This work was followed by a master's dissertation on cooperation between Brazil and Mozambique.

In Ancient Greece (before the advent of philosophy), the experience of human formation was woven as an ethical and aesthetic process. The metaphor of the loom and its weaving, which I propose in this research to examine Homer's epic poem Odyssey, is a heuristic device for understanding concepts that were dear to Greek society in the 7th century BC. the excellence (areté) of the hero, a man of noble lineage; his honour (timé) in leading his family (óikos) and the community of the polis for which he is responsible - so that he acquires fame among his descendants in the future and becomes full of glory (kléos); the willingness to be good (agathós) and to be beautiful (kalós) - concepts or values complemented by the specifically feminine areté, which is translated by the beauty of women and their social role within the family. In a world that was gradually breaking away from mythical-religious thinking and establishing a new way of thinking, we can recognise in the Odyssey the beginnings of a "formative novel" (perhaps the first recorded in writing in the West?).

The present investigation focuses on the argumentative analysis of the sentence 1158-17-EP/21 in which sentence N° 020-09-SEP-CC, 2009 is used as binding jurisprudence; which determines that the error of law is located in the insurmountable incongruence between the basis of the sentence, the normative and philosophical reality that characterizes the current Constitution, which could generate a broad power of the judges in their judicial decisions. However, sentence 1158-17-EP/21 does not make clear the motivation insofar as it empowers the judges to have a broad decision and to be able to decide freely, which would violate the right to legal certainty. This reality is worrisome because this ruling in turn also constitutes binding jurisprudence that would be applied in future rulings. The general objective is to analyze the argumentation of binding jurisprudence due to an error of law with respect to legal certainty. The research modality is qualitative, which describes the phenomenon under study. For this purpose, the inductive-deductive methods will be applied.

The purpose of this research is to analyze how family businesses in the city of Villa María identify, develop and protect their talents through different practices related to Human Resources Management, considering three key processes: Recruitment, Attraction and Retention. For this purpose, it is necessary to reflect on the reality that characterizes this type of organizations and to establish the level of importance and professionalism that these companies attribute to the aforementioned processes.

Generally speaking, compliance with the ethical obligations defined in this Code should lead members of the judiciary to refer to a general principle of prudence in order to avoid breaching the obligations of their position.Beyond this principle of prudence, the magistrate's ethical obligations cannot becannot be confined to the prevention of misconduct. The magistrate's code of ethics must, first and foremost, be driven by a concern for the independence and quality of justice, for which it is the foundation.The Incompatibilities, Prohibitions and Duties of the Magistrate lined up by the rapporteur without demonstrating to what they are linked, i.e. the exercise of the judicial function, have just been studied in these values of the magistrate evoked in the French code of ethics.

Hemorrhoidal pathology is frequently encountered in medical practice. It is little studied in Chad, and very little data is available on anti-hemorrhoidal plants in Africa. The aim of this study is to identify medicinal plants likely to contribute to the traditional management of hemorrhoidal pathologies in Chad. Ethnobotanical surveys were carried out using a pre-established survey form from February 2020 to May 2021 with 47 Tradipraticiens de Santé (TPS) from the Provinces of Southern Chad. Phytochemical analyses were carried out in the laboratory of the Faculté des Sciences Exactes et Appliquées in N'Djamena. Data were entered and processed using Excel 2019 spreadsheet and SPSS.25 software. The results showed that there were 38 recipes made up of 40 species, some with a single species and others with a combination of two or three species. These species were divided into 22 families, the most dominant of which were the Caesalpiniaceae (12.50%). Roots (37.5%) were the most commonly used organs.

BPM or Business Process Management represents a way of managing organisations that is totally customer-oriented. Managing by processes allows the company to be more responsive to change, freeing it from departmental barriers. This method makes it possible to manage tasks in a standardised way, from start to finish, from the relationship with the supplier to the relationship with the end customer. The objective is to implement a total quality system in the process and to improve those activities that require it. This allows the added value generated by the continuous improvement of the process to be passed on directly to the customer.

In contexts of community health affected by floods, fires or frost, coffee marketing is an example to follow in order to observe local entrepreneurship. In this sense, the objective of the present work was to carry out a non-experimental, cross-sectional, exploratory study with a non-probabilistic selection of 300 coffee traders. Based on a structural model ¿¿2 = 1.335 (5gl) p = 0.935; GFI = 0.982; AGFI = 0.947; RMSEA = 0.000¿ reliability (entrepreneurship perception scale with alpha of 0.724) and validity were established for five dimensions alluding to perceptions of economic opportunity (32% of total variance explained), financial (22% of variance), sales (16% of variance), social (10% of variance), and environmental (3% of variance). the fourth factor reflected the construct (¿ = 0.47), followed by the first (¿ = 0.30) and the fifth factor (¿ = 0.16). Based on the theoretical and conceptual frameworks, the study of the entrepreneurial perception in vulnerable groups engaged in the sale of coffee as a livelihood style is proposed.

The monograph summarizes the results of research on the influence of photosynthetic test characters and analysis of boll attraction ability on cotton productivity. For the first time screening of genotypes characterized by high yield, high fiber yield and its technological qualities was carried out in comparison with previously released cultivars in the republic.The principles, methods and peculiarities of breeding based on the use of photosynthetic test characters and selections for high values of boll attraction, aimed at increasing plant productivity and creating new high-yielding cotton varieties with increased fiber yield and good quality are shown. For researchers, teachers and students of agrarian universities, specialists of agricultural enterprises of various forms of ownership.

Learning strategies are a set of techniques used by students depending on their personal characteristics and ways of approaching, planning and responding to the demands of learning. Part of the responsibility for the appropriate use of these strategies must be assumed by the teacher, who must enhance the capabilities and skills of students capable of responding to the demands of today's society. Knowing the students' Learning Strategies makes it easier for teachers to stimulate and enhance their use, thus managing to address the contents with teaching strategies oriented to the way in which the student learns; it allows the application of valid and reliable instruments and the implementation of educational intervention programs, in order to improve efficiency in academic performance. If we want meaningful and long-lasting learning, students should be encouraged to learn how they learn, which is why we should promote the identification and/or awareness of the strategies that each student uses, as a basic skill to become active in their own learning process.

The subject of research in the first and second parts of "Philosophy of Time" was time itself, where the author proposed to look at it from the perspective of scientific and philosophical, religious and mythological methods of cognition. In the third part of "Philosophy of Time" the author continues to study time from the positions of artistic methods of cognition.The author in the series of books "Philosophy of Time" offers readers to look at time, synthesizing scientific, philosophical, religious, mythological, artistic and intuitive methods of cognition. The main provisions and conclusions of this work can serve for practical use by scientists, philosophers, religious scholars, psychologists, clergymen, and journalists.

In modern democracies, the construction of a public agenda involves the media's influence on public opinion and the latter's influence on the evaluation of mass communication policies. In this sense, attitudes have been studied as indicators of audience persuasion or dissuasion. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to specify a risk communication model considering attitude models related to the processing of information about public agenda items.

1. Introduction Women have been the object of study for decades, in most cases, they themselves have been the researchers of their own history, however, one of the themes revolves around the search for equality, of which they have been deprived for centuries and are still in search of it. The question is, what continues to limit equality between men and women? In this respect, various factors can be named, among them violence, in which women have been involved, giving rise to gender violence, as well as the thoughts that are generated on the subject of violence, which are derived from previous experiences that have arisen within a socio-cultural context, and which condition the permanence of a woman in the face of violence.

The present study, from an interdisciplinary approach that imbricates social and cultural history, offers a characterization of society and culture in the batey of the Chaparra sugar mill between 1898 and 1933, from local periodicals. In this sugar enclave in the northeastern region of Cuba, an intense and varied set of activities related to art and culture was generated, despite the socioclastic and elite character that influenced them. At the same time, the North American cultural imprint conferred an atmosphere of sociocultural renovation, expressed fundamentally in the educational component, associations, sports movement, the projection of cultural spaces and the celebration of festivities. Thus, the result of the research reveals that the batey of Central Chaparra became a true cultural microcosm.

This paper is a literature review with the objective of analysing the importance of colostrum feeding and management in dairy cattle. On the other hand, it serves as a reference material for animal production professionals, veterinarians, zootechnical veterinarians, zootechnical engineers and zootechnical agronomists. This text is aimed at exposing the important activity for the prevention, control and eradication of diseases of newborn calves, the main objective of professionals and dairy farmers who should be aware of it, the need to adopt practices to improve the management of colostrum.

CP, as the materialised part of the knowledge generated, is more than a set of documents stored in an information institution. It is also considered to encompass all academic and scientific activities of a researcher. This phenomenon is linked to most of the events in which people are involved on a daily basis, which is why its evaluation, based on the results of research and innovation work, is not a recent practice in the various disciplinary areas. Its study has been intensified and systematised over the last two decades.

The research is oriented towards the playful methods as a way through which a proposed end is reached, reaching the prefixed result to find, to teach as well as to defend the truth of knowledge, it is possible to distinguish certain relation of the method and the technique, which seems to be the confusion about the existing relation between the use of them, being found, both at the level of particular method and the specific one, among which are the stages of the research process, since within them reference will be made to the corresponding techniques and procedures. In which learning is allowed through play, there are a number of fun activities, in which the contents of the subject can be included, which can be skillfully used by teachers. Playful activities are a powerful ally to promote meaningful learning. That is to say, to feel pleasure and value what happens, perceiving it as an act of physical, spiritual or mental satisfaction. Being conducive to the development of skills, relationships, as it is, the sense of humor in people.

River water and sediments are altered as a result of discharges of tailings and waste related to the mining activity in the Portovelo - Zaruma sector, in their composition they contain large amounts of heavy metals, generating solid and liquid waste that affect the flora, fauna and especially the populations that are settled along the riverbeds that are direct recipients of these discharges, disabling agriculture, livestock, industry and human consumption downstream of the sector. This research consists of determining the percentages of certain heavy metals such as Arsenic (As), Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg) and the chemical compound of greatest interest Cyanide (CN), through the use of ArcGis software version 9.3 and SPSS.PASW19 software for statistical analysis, the construction of thematic maps of accumulation and distribution of pollutants generated along the Calera and Amarillo riverbeds will be carried out.

The ancestral and current "ways of life" also interfere with the nutritional quality of the population. For this reason, this research study was conducted with a methodological approach of Critical Epidemiology. Additionally, modern life has initiated important sectors of the community in the consumption of junk food at almost all age levels. Although the geographical location of our country is privileged for agricultural activity, the cultural background before and after the Spanish conquest, and the COVID 19 pandemic modified eating habits; external influence, lack of work, lack of knowledge and self-esteem problems are also important. To develop projects for a change in the food system we need a real nutritional diagnosis of our population. This academic research work related to the analysis of the "Significant relationship between sociocultural and economic factors of Ecuador and its nutritional status" was conducted with a sample of 564 subjects, 56.7% are women and 43.3% men.

The objective of this work is to study and briefly analyze the industrial economic development of Ecuador; the Agroexport and Developmentalist periods will be reviewed in general, while the period of Structural Adjustment (Neoliberalism) will be analyzed in particular. We will analyze the Gross Domestic Product, investment, industrialization and as a whole the Political Phenomenon in relation to the economy.In addition to the analysis of the most relevant economic facts, statistics and phenomena, in order to characterize each period under study we will try to give an institutionalist approach to the dominant paradigms and conceptions, which are much more explanatory concepts of the social, political and economic transformations that took place in the country during the last century.

The social nature of human beings, the development of psychological (emotional) processes and the generation of political activity have represented the perfect formula to guarantee survival, social coexistence and, of course, cultural transmission. This book deals with a study of the emotional processes immersed in political adherence, in active members of a political team, from the perspective of political psychology, with a sociocultural approach.

The text introduces us to various intertwined themes; on the one hand, resorting to important theoretical approaches of social psychology and on the other, to the analysis of the strong economic dependence of countries with emerging economies. Thus, the problems of migration of Mexicans from the huasteca potosina, the social and environmental conditions that expel them from their communities of origin, the adaptive adjustments to the receiving culture in their journey to the United States, and the use of the economic resources generated are amalgamated presenting a very valuable approach to the reality addressed.

Migrant labour identity theory argues that there are four processes through which dependency relationships are established between eight dimensions addressed by the state of knowledge and four psychosocial theories of conflict and change. From the socio-historical perspective, the psychology of migration studies the dimensions of belonging, categorisation, representation and identity circumscribed to migrant reference groups.

The academic training of specialists in medical universities is a substantial component to make the basic principles of Public Health in Cuba a reality, which constitutes a challenge for the staff of these institutions in the direction of this process, in particular, the preparation of General Comprehensive Medicine residents in the educational preventive work with older adults in primary health care, which is the subject of this work. The primary data was obtained through surveys and interviews, which constituted the initial diagnosis of the research. The collected data were processed in computerized form and different methods were used for their collection and processing. Favorable results were found, the specialists (teachers) corroborate that the methodology provided favors the structuring and direction of the teaching-learning process and constitutes a novel tool for the preparation of the residents, in addition, its application in practice is feasible, for the development of modes of action in the educational preventive work with the elderly.

The new parameters of human learning have forced us to change our perspective on what, how and for what to teach, however, we have not yet achieved significant changes on what, how and for what to evaluate. We appropriate educational approaches and practices that promote the personalization of learning and the acquisition of competencies, but how do we assess them? Putting competency assessment at the service of the personalization of school learning is not sufficiently clear because there is widespread confusion about what competencies, assessment, competency-based assessment, competency-based learning, competency-based curricula, among others, mean. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to investigate and understand how competency-based assessment is approached within the framework of the personalization of school learning, understood as a set of strategies aimed at promoting the achievement of learning with a high personal meaning and value for students.

Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) are a heterogeneous group of pathologies associated with abnormal hematopoiesis characterized by a high risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The aim of our work is to determine the epidemiological, clinical, cytological, prognostic and therapeutic features of MDS in southern Tunisia. We enrolled 41 patients with MDS. The sex ratio was 1.56. The mean age was 63 years. The anemic syndrome was the main clinical manifestation at diagnosis (86%), and signs of dysplasia of the erythrocyte, granule and platelet lineages were found in 68%, 81% and 66% of myelograms respectively. MDS-EB2 was the dominant MDS type in our series (38%) according to the WHO 2016 classification. The karyotype was abnormal in 62% of cases. Complex karyotype and 5q deletion were the most frequent chromosomal aberrations. The majority risk groups according to IPSS scores were the high-risk group (31%). Specific treatment was prescribed in 30% of cases. One-year overall survival (OS) was 56%.

The research addresses the issue of the preparation of teachers for the prevention of women with preconceptional maternal risk, which constitutes a problem in the current medical practice, urgently in need of attention in the preparation of health professionals.In the research process, theoretical and empirical methods were used to determine the current state, the results allowed elaborating a system of didactic actions that integrates in its design four stages, directed to students and teachers, aimed at the identification, classification and conduct to be followed in the orientation of prevention to women with preconceptional maternal risk. The feasibility assessment was carried out by consulting specialists, which allowed finding consensus on the relevance of the proposal. The analysis of the results obtained shows that the research offers a solution to the scientific problem.

Sudden hearing loss is sensorineural, develops spontaneously or in a few hours, is severe and is characterized as a syndrome which is a common symptom of many diseases. In our research we proved that it is necessary in the study of the patient with sudden hearing loss, the intentional search for autoimmune disease, having an early diagnosis, preventing and / or delaying complications of systemic disease.
