Labor law, also known as individual or labor legislation, remains in principle a branch of civil law. It lies at the crossroads of two major legal disciplines: private law and public law.It belongs to private law insofar as it deals with relations between private individuals, and it is precisely the principles of civil law that provided its initial foundations. But it has moved further and further away from its original source. Indeed, public power has penetrated labor relations in a very accentuated way, restricting above all the freedom of employers, and sometimes even that of workers.In this book, we will highlight the definition of labor law, its evolution and its sources. But first, let's try to situate this subject in relation to other branches of law.

Doing education and achieving learning is one of the most complex challenges facing humanity. The moral and intellectual formation of students is an important objective of education. Each person learns differently from others, assimilates knowledge in more or less time, obtaining different effectiveness and efficiency, since it depends on their strengths and learning style.Experimental design is a statistical method where the collection, management, description and analysis of information is used, so that the conclusions obtained with this design are reliable.In social research it is no longer sufficient to obtain the average of a set of data. The application of experimental design in social science research provides statistical certainty of the results obtained.

The usable prosthetic occlusal height is the space into which the prosthesis will fit, and must be sufficient for all prosthetic elements. The reduction of this space may be congenital (microdontia, imperfect eruption of congenital teeth, etc.) or acquired (erosion, abrasion, hyperplasia of the edentulous alveolar ridge). In the case of the congenital form, the procedure is delicate and requires a special laboratory technique. For the acquired form resulting from tooth erosion, the solution may range from simple ameloplasty to fixed prosthesis, with or without technical depulpation and/or coronal elongation, or even tooth avulsion. When the reduction in HOPU is due to dental abrasion without any reduction in DVO, composite prosthetics is often indicated. In the case of alveolar ridge hyperplasia, surgical treatment of the edentulous ridges can restore sufficient HOPU. If etiological treatment is not possible, the prosthetic solution can be adapted to the existing HOPU by integrating the veneered teeth.

In aging there is an evident diminished capacity to maintain homeostasis. In this sense, in the elderly, deficit malnutrition is frequent, a fact that is related to increased morbidity and mortality. It is also common the decrease of motor processes from the esophagus to the small intestine.This feeding manual includes nutritional requirements for energy and nutrients, food selection, techniques and strategies to prevent nutrient loss during food preparation, common replacements and general dietary recommendations for the elderly population. In addition, guidelines were designed to enrich preparations for the older adult with low weight and dysphagia. For these two pathologies, options for breakfasts, lunches, snacks, dinners and snacks were planned. Finally, specific examples of menus with their respective ingredients, quantities, home measurements and preparation methods were provided, according to the nutritional requirements for this biological group and for the mentioned pathologies.

The study "Response of productive systems in ecosystem services and human well-being to conservation practices in fragile ecosystems of Nicaragua" was carried out in the Ramsar sites Moyúa and Apanás. Throughout the research process, the participation of producers was encouraged. Highly significant statistical differences were found among the experimentally evaluated practices. The practices contribute to moisture retention, improve organic matter content, reduce surface runoff and improve conditions for soil organisms, help reduce production costs and increase productive yields, with a direct impact on human welfare by improving economic income and reducing disease risks. The results are an input to design, undertake and evaluate integral actions for the maintenance of ecosystem functions and services as an adaptation to climate variability.

The present study was framed in a descriptive research supported by a field study, whose objective is to describe the leadership exercised by the directive personnel and its incidence in the interpersonal relations in the Escuela Básica Faltriquera Municipio Sucre, Yaracuy state; for this purpose, 20 teachers who work in the institution under study were taken as population; who conformed in their totality the sample being considered of a census type. For the collection of information, the survey technique was used through the questionnaire, which was validated by the judgment of three (3) experts, and subsequently its reliability was calculated by Crombach's alpha coefficient, obtaining a result of 0.775, which showed that it is very reliable. Once the instrument was applied, the information was processed and presented in tables of frequencies and percentages and bar graphs, grouped according to dimensions and indicators. The results allow concluding that there are factors that are affecting interpersonal relationships, among which stands out the fact that a defined type of leadership is not assumed; the communication process is weak, as well as teamwork; therefore, it is recommended to assume the leadership that most favors the situations experienced in the schools, as well as to strengthen the factors that are affecting good relationships.

Glass recycling requires primary crushing of the material and subsequent granulation of the material through the sieving process, and the final product may not have the same qualities as the original material.An alternative for recycling glass by-products is in the production of concrete based on CP, where it has been successfully used as a substitute for fine aggregate and/or cementitious material; and although there is a large number of studies on this subject, most of them refer to the use of soda-lime glass, since it is the most common and widely available.In the present work, the effect of the use of industrial by-products based on VMG granulated ground glass is evaluated, in order to reduce the RAS, C02 and cause an improvement in the environment as well as a reduction in the costs of the same, which have been reported in general, more prone to present the harmful expansion product of the RAS, and for which it is necessary to use smaller particle sizes in order to avoid the harmful expansion product of the RAS.

Recognized by the Jamaat Al-sunna Lil Dawa Wal Jihad group, the Boko Haram movement, following in the footsteps of its predecessors, has been sowing the seeds of terrorism in the Sahel for two decades. A detailed analysis of the terrorist acts perpetrated over the last twenty years reveals just how much. Founded in 2002 in Maïduguri, Nigeria, Boko Haram derives from book = book and haram = forbidden. In 2009, after the death of its founder, it launched a jihad in Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad and Niger. His successor, Abubaka Shekau, recruited fighters, procured weapons and left the stronghold to launch a series of terrorist attacks around Lake Chad. By advocating radical Islam, Boko Haram became a transnational movement in 2015. With the idea of creating an Islamic caliphate around Lake Chad, terrorist actions became the hallmark of the movement with the birth of the dissident branch Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) in 2016, which would carry out some of the deadliest terrorist attacks in Boko Haram's history until 2023.

The aim of this work is to study the secular variation in stature of human populations that inhabited central Argentina throughout the late Holocene. It was expected to find a variation in stature and a decrease in sexual dimorphism in height, associated with changes in lifestyles and subsistence strategies. The latter is related to the transition from hunting and gathering to a mixed economy, which complements the former with food production. Contrary to initial expectations, the results suggest an increase in sexual dimorphism over time, as a result of a negative secular trend in the height of female individuals and a slight trend towards an increase in the height of male individuals. The trends observed in different regions and by sex cannot be explained by a single explanatory factor. Rather, the conjunction of environmental and genetic causes may be involved in the processes that shape the height of individuals over time.

Uberization in Brazil, driven by the expansion of work intermediated by digital platforms, is profoundly transforming employment relations. This monograph, using a qualitative analytical methodology, examines legislation, court decisions and legislative proposals to understand the legal consequences of this transformation. The aim is to assess the adequacy of Brazilian labor laws to the new labor dynamics and propose balanced legislative responses. We can see the need to revise the legal framework to harmonize the protection of workers' rights with maintaining and encouraging innovation on digital platforms.

The educational system prioritizes the quantitative qualifications of students, giving more value to the grades obtained in the different contributions, leaving aside important aspects such as the particularities of each student because their way of learning is not the same, requiring a comprehensive class plan to achieve effective and lasting learning; applicable, where students put into practice all their abilities and skills in a creative way. Although it has been shown that learning styles are not entirely linked to creativity in students, certain components of creativity can be associated with the various learning styles. The different educational institutions have established parameters that seek to adapt knowledge to the classroom so that it is understandable to students. Even so, it is important to analyze each of the factors that may affect this process. One of the factors that most influences the teaching-learning process is the lack of knowledge of the students' learning styles.

The research aims to make visible the joint effort of the Association Chicas F - La Fortaleza, commune 8 in San José de Cúcuta. Through the implementation of a communication strategy that establishes the guidelines for the visibility of the Association's brand, based on three lines of action. First, the sociodemographic characterization of the community in order to establish reference points for the creation of the visual identity manual and elements that make up the corporate philosophy of the Association. Secondly, the corporate identity manual, in order to work on the publications of both internal and external communication, as well as to establish the strategic line, visual and organizational structure built collaboratively through surveys and semi-structured interviews with the participants. Thirdly, to design an external communication campaign to make the local brand visible in this way in which it is articulated with the concept of solidarity economy. It is expected that the brand will be recognized and associated with a process of growth around the collaborative work between academia and locality.

The present essay, elaborated to participate in this valuable call made by the local government of Nuevo Chimbote, to whom we are very grateful in advance; it gathers aspects of the formation in its beginnings, the managements and the most important actions developed by the citizens of Santeña organized in the citizen collectives. This rich experience of citizen participation carried out in our district, we try to capture in this work, undoubtedly with these experiences at the same time we try to expose them to be collected by the local governments of the province - initially - and then generalize them throughout the region and if possible throughout the country.

The speed with which digital information and communication technologies are updated and permeate our daily lives justifies the need for this exploratory study, which seeks to understand cultural mediation in the face of the dynamics and cultural practices emerging in this social context and its imbrication with the advent of social media, prompting various reflections in order to outline new perspectives for the concept and its operationalisation in contemporary times. The transmedia show "EU - Negociando Sentidos", by ExCompanhia de Teatro, presented itself as a trigger for the problematisations raised in this research, since it integrates elements that cut across the theoretical formulations on cultural mediation. In this way, by interpreting the concept of cultural mediation as a device, we reveal lines of force that tension its relationship with social media: the differences between information and experience, and between interactivity and participation. The analysis reveals that the use of social media in cultural processes encounters obstacles both in providing an authentic social experience and in empowering subjects to participate in culture as producers of meaning.

This paper studies the binding force of the standards of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, with the aim of determining whether they have binding force for the national courts of States that have not been convicted in the cases in which they were established. To this end, the concept of a standard is established, followed by an analysis of the different arguments put forward regarding its binding force, both those developed by the Inter-American Court itself and by specialised doctrine. From there, it develops, from a general perspective, the reception of Inter-American standards by national courts in order to finally analyse the reception and monitoring of the standard on the invalidity of self-amnesty laws. With the analysis of Inter-American Court cases which establish this standard and the courts of Argentina, Uruguay and Colombia which receive and use it, the conclusion is reached that its binding force depends, to a large extent, on the use made of it by national courts.

The livelihoods of many people in developing countries depend to a large extent on intact and functioning wetlands. Water quality and permanence have been identified as important factors affecting the diversity and abundance of benthic macroinvertebrates in these ecosystems. However, the pressures they have been enduring make them increasingly fragile and call for the generation of timely and reliable information on their current state. In Peru, high Andean wetlands continue to be the least studied and represent one of the most threatened ecosystems. The decline in water quality that these ecosystems have been experiencing due to inadequate management, despite the fact that they play a fundamental role in human well-being and the maintenance of ecological balance, requires a more integrated knowledge of the various processes that occur.

Palliative care in Angola is still in the early stages of development, reflected in the lack of preparation of nurses in their technical training to intervene in palliative care.The aim of this study was to assess the perception of nursing students regarding the inclusion of palliative care in their undergraduate curricula, as well as to determine the importance they attach to this training and preparation for caring for patients in palliative care.109 nursing students (55.3% female) from the Instituto Superior de Ciências de Saúde and the Escola Superior Politécnica do Moxico answered a questionnaire on attitudes towards palliative care. The results revealed that the majority of students had not had contact with essential topics related to palliative care throughout their training.The students emphasized the importance of including palliative care in the compulsory curriculum of the nursing course. Based on the perceptions of Angolan nursing students, we conclude that training in palliative care during the course is not adequate to develop the necessary skills in this area.

The purpose of the book is to determine the most efficient treatment or treatment train for the removal of organic matter from leachate from the landfill of the city of Merida. For this purpose, different research projects have been developed, in which different physicochemical leachate treatments were used. Chronologically, they were developed as follows: coagulation/flocculation, flotation, adsorption, Fenton, filtration, Fenton dose optimization, adsorption optimization, Fenton/filtration/adsorption. The present work shows the results obtained from different experiences of the application of physicochemical processes to the leachates from the landfill of the city of Merida. Flotation, coagulation-flocculation, adsorption with activated carbon, Fenton and Fenton-adsorption processes were tested.

The learning process is a dynamic interaction between the teacher, the learners and the knowledge to be acquired. In didactics, assessing the conversion of knowledge into learning is essential for evaluating the effectiveness of teaching and the impact of learning on learners. It measures the extent to which teachers are able to convey knowledge in a clear and relevant way, and whether learners are able to integrate this knowledge into their understanding and apply it in concrete situations. In this way, evaluation helps to optimize teaching methods and create a learning environment conducive to the acquisition of sound knowledge and its effective use by learners.

This paper presents the results of the study developed from August 15 to December 9, 2022, under a quantitative methodology and with a correlational scope. The objective is to examine how personal, social, professional, teaching and institutional aspects are linked to the ability of teachers to develop resilience in the current university environment. The main results show that, from the perspective of the sample analyzed, low levels of resilience stand out in most of the participants regardless of the type of contract, which causes an influence for the conformation of determining aspects for the formation of resilience in a personal, social, professional and institutional context. These results reflect the urgent need that exists in universities for a positive organizational vision from the changes made to the curricula where the formation of the teacher as a professional, but also as an individual that helps to achieve an education with resilience from the perspective of the current context, should be included.

Training is a method of active learning aimed at developing participants' knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as social relationships. During a training session, participants are encouraged to take an active part in the session. After that, training sessions are used to retain and better internalize the accumulated knowledge. With the help of learning activities, image formation is carried out step by step. Because it happens with integrity and harmony of mind and body. The name of the training, the course of training, the necessary equipment and the time spent may differ in the interpretation of different authors. However, the essence, the proposed idea and the main purpose of the training will be the same.

This is a compendium of information provided on the treatment of industrial liquid effluents in a course given by Dr. Ricardo Serra, a university professor of the Liquid Effluents Department, specializing in Chemical Engineering, at the National Technological University, Avellaneda Regional Faculty, in the Postgraduate Course on Labor Engineering. The aim is to reach the reader's understanding that the values allowed by law for dumping permits for these effluents are adequate to avoid the need for any type of chemical treatment in order to achieve values that do not affect either the receiving bodies or the sewage network systems that lead to subsequent treatments to achieve optimum purification of these wastewaters to be reused either as water for industrial use or water to be treated for subsequent purification of the same.

Much has been written about Russian people, Russian culture, Russian legends and myths and even more has not been written. Russian people have original legal consciousness and psycho-consciousness and are able to easily absorb cultural traditions of the most different peoples, but Russians have their own spiritual and cultural foundation, with the help of which the identical existence of the Russian people is possible.The present collection can indicate the directions of reflection on the legal consciousness and psycho-consciousness of Russian people, as well as on modern technologies of personal growth of a Russian person. The collection of articles can be useful for philosophers, theologians, religious scholars, psychologists, teachers and all thinking people interested in Russian ethnos, legal consciousness and psycho-consciousness of Russian people and Russian technologies of personal growth.

The aim of the present research is to make an inventory of the various limpet species and species that resemble limpets but belong to other closely related families colonizing part of the Algerian west coast. From a total of 322 individuals sampled in 2016 at four sites, we determined a total richness of 7 species: 5 species of the Patellidae family, plus one species of the Siphonariidae family and one species of the Fissurellidae family. The most abundant species in our study area is Patella rustica, and the rarest is Patella ulyssiponensis. Sbiaat Island has the highest Shannon-Weaver Diversity Index, making it richer in biodiversity than the other sites studied. It is difficult to explain the differences observed in the distribution and composition of the biodiversity of limpet species and related species, but some answers may be found by considering the impact of physical habitats and trophic flows in subsequent studies. The work of Dr. Martínez, is a very interesting work which deserves to be known by the professionals and students of Law, as well as by the citizens in general, since it deals, in a didactic way, with aspects that although they are contemplated in the National Constitution, nevertheless they are little known by the public and generally the notions that they have are even confusing; Thus, the book deals with considerations on issues such as amendments and reforms to the Constitution, as well as the National Constituent Assembly, which are normally subject to consultation and electoral approval, but which are rarely certain about their purpose. Likewise, the book deals with the different types of referendums as mechanisms of participation and protagonism of the people in the exercise of their sovereignty and in aspects that are vital for matters of importance in various aspects of national, state and municipal affairs, in areas that include matters pertaining to popular mandates, as well as the approval or repeal of laws and international treaties.

The figure of the foreign woman forms a central core of a mythologized West, and is the most common imported character. It has served, in turn, as a pretext for tackling the Western adventure, approaching the foreign woman and giving vent to the reveries and imaginings of the Arab character and his visions of an unknown feminine universe. Almost all Arab writers have used this female figure to express their opinions, impressions and fantasies about the West and its women. Moreover, as we shall see, her representation is varied, not static.

As a result of the enactment of the telephone interception law, the need arose to analyse a possible conflict between the fundamental rights of intimacy and privacy and the telephone interception law. The telephone interception law is based on article 5, item XII, of the 1988 Federal Constitution, imposing rules and defining the legal requirements for its application. The aim of this paper is to compare the Telephone Interception Act with the constitutional principle of intimacy and privacy. Exploratory research was used, through bibliographical and documentary research. The approach shows that the fundamental rights laid down in the Federal Constitution are not absolute and can be relativised, respecting the requirements laid down in the Telephone Interception Act.

First work carried out in the Master's programme. A topic that later inspired my master's dissertation in 2015. Luana Petry Valentim Mendonça, a campaigner for minority rights, inspired by her supervisor Elda Coelho de Azevedo Bussinguer, to whom she owes all her thanks. This was just one of the many works they did on people living with HIV/AIDS, in the search for a more civic-minded world.

The evolutionary decline in the practice of physical exercise as part of daily life has favored, among other factors, the emergence of sedentary lifestyles and the increase in diseases, including Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of dementia and has important physical and psychological complications for the patient. Several studies point to the beneficial relationship between physical exercise and Alzheimer's disease. Physical exercise interventions prevent Alzheimer's disease, slow its progression and reduce its physical and psychological complications.
