The trajectory of this text is marked by the questioning of the relationship between thought, poetry and the sacred, which began with Heidegger's interpretation of the work of art as the "putting into work of the truth of being". The unfolding of this relationship brings us closer to a more original ambience, in which the sense of openness provides the space for the sacred to manifest itself. We seek the path to this horizon through a mode of thought that is appropriate as a remembrance of the origin. In the proximity of this recollection, we can listen to what constitutes thinking. It is through remembrance that thinking thinks its own thinking in the same way that poetry poetises its saying. Both thought and poetry take place in the same relational environment protected by being as openness. It is this horizon that makes it possible to show the sacred happening in a more original appropriation.

Urinary tract infection (UTI) has a prevalence of 2-5%, and an incidence of 5-8% in children under 5 years of age, with 80-90% of its aetiology being E. coli. The definitive diagnosis is made by urine culture, although Gram stain is recommended for immediate therapeutic decisions, with a sensitivity of 100% and a specificity of 87%. This study analyses the benefits of this type of procedure and avoids the mismanagement of antibiotics in the paediatric population.

This book sets out to study the supposed influence of naturalistic theatre aesthetics on contemporary Brazilian telenovelas, based on a detailed case study, mainly considering the formal and diegetic aspects present in João Emanuel Carneiro's telenovela Avenida Brasil, produced by Rede Globo de Televisão and shown by the same network in 2012. The work was chosen, among other reasons, because of its aesthetic-communicational relevance and significant repercussions in terms of audience. A reflexive investigation was carried out, taking into account the theatrical elements responsible for peculiarities in the representation of so-called social reality in soap operas shown in the 9pm slot, considered to be the broadcaster's prime time.

Diseases that affect all three hematopoietic lines fall under the hematologist's care burden. Almost romantically, the study and clinical approach to hematologic malignancies becomes the focus of attention for many physicians in the specialty. The present material proposes a particular approach to myeloproliferative neoplasms, lymphomas and monoclonal gammopathies. It systematizes clinical, epidemiological and laboratory variables that have characterized adult patients diagnosed with these entities during the last ten years in the Oncohematology service of the General Teaching Hospital "Comandante Pinares" in the Cuban province of Artemisa. Let this work serve as a testimony of the effort made to guarantee the health of our patients, as well as an academic and scientific complement for the training of new general practitioners and specialists.

A descriptive study was conducted on the behaviour of vaginal infection in pregnant women in the period 2017 - 2018. The universe was represented by pregnant women diagnosed with vaginal sepsis in any trimester of pregnancy, from which a sample of patients was taken and to whom a questionnaire was applied, taking into account variables such as age, schooling, gestational age at diagnosis, causal agent, mode of hygiene, condom use and occurrence of prenatal and postnatal complications. We conclude that vaginal infection in pregnancy is very frequent in young women; in addition to other significant results associated with this health problem.

Regional economic integration is a long-standing phenomenon that has emerged as a strategy for states to improve their political and economic performance on the international stage. The most representative example is the integration of the European Union, made up of 28 member states, organised around common institutions and with their own legal system. The initial success of the European bloc attracted the attention of other countries, such as Turkey, which, continuing its foreign policy of rapprochement with the West, is seeking to join the Union as a full member. The Turkish accession process, which is considered complex, controversial and has dragged on for several years, has served as a stimulus for Turkey to carry out profound economic, social, political and cultural transformations, especially in its legal system. In this context, addressing the definition, levels, causes, objectives, effects, advantages, disadvantages and the correlation between the integration process and the protection of human rights, this book points out the legislative changes implemented by Turkey in the field of human rights, with a view to meeting the convergence criteria.

It is a popular belief, reinforced by the Church, that magic and witchcraft exist as a "supernatural power" possessed by certain people. This power is believed to be obtained through "pacts" made with the "devil". In this sense, magic and witchcraft represent the counterpart of the Church and the Catholic religion.For the people, the demon, a sinister being, is the one who gives "power" to his followers to cast spells and brew potions which, through rites and magic passes, allow them to obtain "marvellous" things or dreadful evils. People who make such "agreements" with "the evil one" and engage in the practice of magic and witchcraft are known as witches and warlocks. They have always been unjustly confused with "magicians" AND healers, among whom doctors and psychologists should be placed, except that the training of the latter is of a formal nature and takes place in universities. But it is a fact that doctors, priests and psychologists are the modern witchdoctors. But, of course, with institutionalised training.

The multidimensional prognostic models of surgical mortality act as a prognostic alarm from the stratification of the mortality risk, with refinement of the clinical method at the prognostic level by optimizing the preoperative care with the use of novel statistical techniques based on the combination of logistic regression with the decision tree and Cramer's V oriented in positive sign by Phi. They are an alternative of integration of the surgical risk of the patient, anesthesia and surgery.

Acute bronchiolitis is a common viral respiratory infection in infants, and is one of the main causes of hospitalization in pediatric wards during the winter season. For severe cases, hospitalization in a pediatric intensive care unit is often necessary. However, when pediatric intensive care unit places are in short supply, the management of severe bronchiolitis becomes a therapeutic challenge. Oxygen therapy remains a key element in the management of these cases. The use of high-flow nasal cannula oxygen therapy in a general paediatric ward raises questions about its efficacy and safety when used outside intensive care units.

Assisted reproduction has become a method that can be used by anyone who wishes to achieve a family goal through the birth of a child, but which nevertheless raises numerous ethical questions for both users and professionals. The excessive expectations of technological advances, the uncertainty of the results, the openness towards a medicine of desire, etc. can generate ethical problems that require in-depth analysis. This is the first study to show how personal values have a decisive influence on attitudes towards different assisted reproduction techniques, which should be taken into account when treating each patient. In addition, this work presents a tool that can easily help the clinician in the decision making process of each person with respect to these techniques.

Its objective is to build a theoretical-philosophical foundation for a comprehensive public security and defence policy for the Venezuelan nation. Since the birth of countries and power, security has been necessary. Europe was constituted as a power bloc in the European Union, promoting public policies on security and defence common to all, in which university education institutions have played a fundamental role in the conception of these policies. Something similar has happened in Latin America, where university education has played a weaker role. In Venezuela since 1999, within the framework of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Security and Defence of the Nation was given constitutional status and the Bolivarian Doctrine was created, based on the principle of "War of the Whole People". The participation of university education in this policy has been very limited. Theoretical-philosophical principles are proposed in order to develop a public policy that incorporates Venezuelan universities in the training of national security and defence through study plans.

In the context of Brazil's federal system, it is pertinent to deepen the competences of metropolitan municipal public administrations and federal states with regard to the management of public functions of common interest. The regulatory framework for these public functions is analysed, as well as the need for healthy changes for municipal public administrations and federal states. Healthy changes are suggested for municipal and state public administrations, not only in terms of thematic and structuring legislation, but above all in terms of changing attitudes when tackling the metropolitan issue.

The micro region of Orituco, and its main urban center Altagracia, is located between the master row and the high plain, in the central area of ¿¿Venezuela. It is not exactly a high altitude area, but it is not a plain area either, it is a geospatial, productive, road, dialect mix and that is its population. Economy, roads, society, culture and tourist manifestations where the symbiosis of the native peoples, those navigated from Europe, Africa and the recent waves emerge. In short, it is about a unity within diversity, that is the Orituqueña region.

Many nursing professionals work in hospital environments. These environments have aggressive factors that can influence the psychological aspects of workers, such as self-esteem and stress, leading to accidents at work. In this sense, it is important to address these issues (self-esteem, stress and accidents at work) in a context such as this (hospital environment). It is believed that with the information contained in this book, changes can be made in the workplace by implementing programmes to prevent accidents at work and mental illness, raising awareness of the use of personal and collective protective equipment and improving adherence to training on safe working practices.

In the present work we give an account of the plundering and exploitation of natural and human resources during this period.Around this event, a series of myths were created with no other purpose than to justify the 300 years of domination. In America there were no gods, idols or human sacrifices.

IT technologies, especially computers and the internet, have enabled the emergence of the IT environment, bringing about a new social reorganisation. This is because it is a space full of interactivity which, despite not being physical, allows its users to exercise countless rights and duties on a daily basis, such as communication, expression, entertainment, information and, in certain cases, work. In other words, it enables the development of the human personality, yet it is still very little explored by the legal sciences, especially with regard to its protection. In view of this, this research analysed the legal-constitutional aspects of the constitution and use of this space. To this end, a theoretical approach was taken to the Information Society and its social and legal consequences. Likewise, the creation and legal consequences of Law 12.965/2014, also known as the Civil Rights Framework for the Internet, were examined. Finally, the IT environment was investigated as a fundamental right, presenting it as its own specific category of environment.

This work addresses the conflict that took place in the Imperial Brazil of Pedro II between the Church and the State in the period 1872-1875, known as the "Religious Question", and in this sense the objective is to verify the involvement of Freemasonry and the possible contribution of this Institution in the process of Brazilian secularisation, since the discussion on freedom of worship intensified and religious freedom was put on the back burner.

Numerous studies have demonstrated the role of agriculture in the process of economic development. For the physiocrats, agriculture is indispensable to development; it provides the resources necessary for the development of other sectors. The general aim of this study is therefore to analyze the impact of agriculture on economic growth in the Congo over the period 1995-2016. To do this, we have drawn on theoretical and empirical review. After analyzing the results from the Error Correction Model (ECM), we found that the GDP of the agricultural sector in Congo has an increasing trend. Furthermore, we have also shown that the agricultural sector has a positive effect on non-oil economic growth in Congo.Keywords: agriculture, economic growth and MCE.

Botany is a vast discipline that covers all aspects of plant life: morphology, growth and reproduction, ecology and interactions with the biotic and abiotic elements of plant ecosystems. Botany is taught from the earliest years, in Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, with a presentation of the major plant groups in terms of their nature and functional properties, their place and role in the biosphere and their major evolutions, at the origin of their current biodiversity. The aim of this book is to give future botanists and biotechnologists the knowledge and skills they need to understand the plant world and its many applications in biotechnology.

Assessment is a valuable process in the new proposals for inclusive education in countries where discriminatory and segregationist policies and pedagogical actions against special needs children still exist. Educational assessment should contain elements that enable inclusion in basic education schools. This proposal aims to provide a comprehensive, social and pedagogical vision of a process that has been previously constituted as a tool of exclusion to the human right to receive school education.

Today's consumers are increasingly demanding foods with fewer added chemical additives, which are safe, easy to consume and sensorially pleasing. In particular, this book describes research on emerging natural preservation technologies, as an alternative to those conventionally employed, with the objective of ensuring the safety and maintaining the quality of minimally processed apples. Part 1 of this book describes the application of active coatings enriched with natural preservatives to improve the quality and safety of apple cubes. Part 2 details the application of active coatings combined with high pressures and their impact on quality parameters of apple cubes.The consumption of probiotic foods has increased in recent years and most of the available products are dairy-based. Minimally processed fruits with added prebiotics and probiotics are an innovative alternative to meet the needs of vegan or lactose intolerant consumers. In response to this, in the study presented in Part 3, coatings are being developed for the development of prebiotics and probiotics.

Social and cultural changes within school scenarios, and new practices on a new educational model in Mexico, require reflection on the needs for updated training for basic education teachers. The concept of discipline is interpreted as negotiation of rules, limits, interactions for inclusion, however, student behaviour reflects the violence of a violent society and dysfunctional families. Teachers are faced with the question: how to discipline without verbal, emotional, psychological and even physical violence? Children who are identified without objective criteria for assessing disruptive behaviour are violated in various ways by school authorities. Training in new forms of discipline will allow the inclusion and not the rejection of these children in the classroom. The family is an important factor in this task.

The objectives of the research are to describe the personality characteristics of the foster child that contribute to his or her school resilience, to identify the memories of the foster child related to his or her biological family that promote school resilience, and to describe the protective factors in the foster child's environment that explain his or her school resilience. It is based on Bowlby's attachment theory, the analysis of individual and socio-environmental protective processes (Werner, Garmezy and Rutter) and Bronfenbrenner's ecological model.In order to achieve our objectives, we carried out exploratory qualitative research. It was based on a sample of 32 students selected from a pool of 640 entrusted students from four large schools in two major cities in two provinces of Burkina Faso. A questionnaire was used to establish a typology of the reasons for entrusting children. The interview guide was used to explore the individual and contextual factors of these children's school resilience.

This study aimed to analyze the technologies and tools of the DevOps world, understanding their importance in adopting a DevOps culture in the management of an IT sector in a public hospital, and evaluating the results obtained in a real scenario. Among the authors researched for the conceptual constitution of this work were HTTERMANN, M. (2012), FOWLER, M. (2006), PEREIRA, J. A. D. (2013), CALLANAN, M. (2016) and FARLEY, D. (2012). The methodology used was explanatory research, with a bibliographic survey and an experience report as data collection. The most relevant conclusion is that by adopting the DevOps culture and using the right tools, it is possible to obtain positive results, professionalizing and modernizing an organization's IT sector.

This book aims to analyse the lives of street adolescents in the municipality of Vitória-ES. The research was based on an experience of working as a psychologist on the team of the Street Social Approach Project of the Vitória City Council. This study produced a series of questions regarding the place occupied by these adolescents in the city, and the place occupied by the city in their lives. Oral history was used as a methodological resource, which made it possible to clarify the individual trajectories of these adolescents, reconstructing history through their multiple versions, capturing the logic of the boy-street relationship through the meaning expressed in the actor's language. An analysis was made of the narratives constructed from the oral testimony of four research subjects, based on the theoretical perspective of Institutional Analysis in an attempt to denaturalise the social places occupied by street adolescents. The conclusion is that assistance needs to get closer to the existential reality of these individuals and believe that they can be other things too.

This research, product of our process as students of Pedagogy in Mathematics, aims to analyze how the concept of numbers with infinite decimal development is treated, specifically those with periodic or semi-periodic decimal expansion, or commonly called periodic or semi-periodic decimal numbers in Chilean school literature. From Yves Chevallard's Anthropological Theory of Didactics, we will see if the mathematical significance of the concept is respected and we will design a more complete teaching proposal for these numbers.

The monograph is devoted to the problems of the influence of environmental factors on the health of the young generation living in the conditions of the Southern Aral Sea region. It presents the results of research to assess the negative consequences of insufficient motor activity of adolescent youth, which lead to increased morbidity, impaired growth and development, reduced adaptive capacity of the body. The book is addressed to scientists, teachers of higher educational institutions, teachers of physical education, doctoral and master's students engaged in research activities in the field of physical education and sports, undergraduate students, as well as for those who are interested in the problem of environmental protection and eco-physiological research in the region of the Southern Priaralie.
