Contemporary research on the subject of the identity of English language learners is increasingly appearing in national and international literature as an extensive field of investigation, stemming from the studies of Norton Peirce (1995), Bauman (2005), among other post-structuralist authors. These authors base their studies on Hall (2006), in which identity is seen as under construction, fragmented; and on investments, by Norton Peirce (1995). In this way, this study sought to understand how the experiences in relation to the language had an impact on the participants' identity processes, and what investments they had made in order to achieve the imagined communities they wished to obtain in the target language. Analysing the data made it possible to study and understand the English learners' identification process, based on their accounts, as well as the investments they made in order to appropriate the language.

The object of this book is the Sonata in A major D.959 by F. Schubert. The composer has been placed in a social, historical and artistic framework. In addition, a journey through the most important and representative works that he composed in 1828, the last year of his life, has been established. Schubert, in this last stage of maturity, manages to transcend his suffering and capture it in beauty. He respects the classical canons of the sonata form and at the same time manages to expand this concept, opening new paths for many later composers. An exploratory analysis has been carried out on the form (from an architectural point of view) and on the motivic elements of the sonata. Both aspects are treated in a way that contributes to the unity and coherence of the work. In Schubert's music, singing is always present, especially the lieder. But, in addition, it will show a clear influence of other genres that also exist in this sonata, such as string quartet, dance, other earlier works for piano and religious music.

In Brazilian criminal law, the crime of homicide comes in three forms: simple, privileged and qualified. The circumstances that qualify and privilege it can be understood as subjective or objective in nature. Based on this division, scholars differ on the possibility of the simultaneous existence of privileges and qualifiers in the crime of homicide. This book analyzes the possibility of privileges coexisting with qualifiers in the crime of homicide and, if they do, whether privileged qualified homicide is a heinous crime.

This work is the author's first book in which he discusses issues related to the thoughts of different investors in the Hotel Industry sector in the Province of Nampula, Northern Mozambique, regarding the Strategies used by the Investment Promotion Centre in attracting investment projects to boost this important sector of activity. As can be seen, the texts presented in this book are fundamentally characterised by the clear identification of two groups of investors, the first being those whose investment projects were authorised through the CPI and the second and last being those whose licences came directly from the Nampula Provincial Directorate of Tourism "DPTUR". The background was to find out the reasons behind the existence of these two groups, bearing in mind that the CPI's crucial role in the country is to facilitate, assist and guarantee the granting of tax and non-fiscal benefits to potential investors in all areas of socio-economic and cultural activity.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a technology that enables machines to learn from data and make decisions based on that data. In West Africa, AI is used in various fields such as health, agriculture, finance and security. While AI can offer considerable benefits, it can also have an impact on human rights. The aim of creating artificial intelligence (AI) is to develop computer systems capable of performing tasks that normally require human intelligence. AI aims to reproduce certain human cognitive abilities such as perception, reasoning, learning, planning and decision-making. AI applications are vast and can include areas such as speech recognition, computer vision, machine translation, autonomous vehicles, virtual assistants and much more. It is important that governments and companies using AI take these recommendations into account to ensure that human rights are not violated.

The literary study of Pedro Alfonso Morales is necessary to define his aesthetic contributions that mark the boundaries of the new narrative of the XXI Century. In this work we identify the literary contributions to the Nicaraguan narrative, through the analysis of three works of our author: "León es hoy a mí, Pancho Ley y las Ceguas (cuentos Teliqueños) y El país de las aguas"; as well as the type of language used in the three works; as well as the extension of his narrations; which are short stories.

In (un)covered to metamorphosis: authorship of learning, it is reported how psychopedagogy, in its role of rescuing the pleasure and desire to learn, promotes autonomy and authorship of thought, giving the subject possibilities to grow and build their knowledge. Psychopedagogy deals with the learning process, but not just at school, but in the cognitive, affective and social spheres, and can also be explained by the failure of school practice to adapt to the student's needs, i.e. reactive processes. The importance of a detailed diagnosis that allows us to get to know the subject, based on a keen eye and ear where the subject will have the chance to show their capacity for authorship. Psychopedagogy has added to the understanding of the importance of the space of "not knowing", being able to build knowledge with the patient and this is very pleasurable. It takes a special look at learning difficulties, rescuing the desire to learn. The psychopedagogical look and listen points to capacity and possibilities, helps to build autonomy and values the authorship of thought, and consequently improves self-esteem and makes the subject the author of their learning.

The Mexican education system, being linked to the national political system, has developed a teaching axis that goes from conservatism to liberalism by establishing similar protocols for inter-institutional relations. This is an isomorphism that educational institutions adopted as part of the political corporatism that distinguished them from the Mexican political system. Some indicators of isomorphism can be found in the establishment of corporate networks and strategic alliances between national and international institutions, such as those that bring together conservative and liberal thought.

Mountain tourism has been a banner of local development that this paper has addressed as a research problem around the experience and meaning involved, but unlike the marketing or critique of this human activity, the present study rather set out to interpret the discourses and narratives of mystical, anthropocentric and ecocentric evocations in order to deepen understanding of what appears to be a juncture of past and future in the present, known as symbolic processualism. An exploratory, cross-sectional, interpretative and retrospective study was carried out with a purposive selection of participants and informants. Lines of research concerning the figurative and historical core of social representations are evident, as not only a distinction between experiences and discourses, evocations and narratives is ethnographically recognised, but also a collective construction of the meaning of the mountain based on the opportunities and capacities of access.

This research was conducted with the support of the Universidad la Gran Colombia as well as the accompaniment of its faculty in the area of administrative and labor law in order to assess the impact of hiring through outsourcing in Colombian public institutions, understanding this as the alliance between companies by criteria of modernization and dynamism, an assessment is made on issues of recruitment which shows risk and benefit factors for both the contracting entities, for contractors and for the worker who is the mainstay of this research, For the contractors and for the worker himself who is the fundamental pillar of this investigation, it is left in evidence that this type of legal figures of contracting must be the exception to the rule and not the generality to fulfill the purposes of those who use it to fulfill their social object, since it can be a trigger of negative legal consequences for the previously mentioned parts.

Rabies is a zoonosis of viral origin due to a neurotropic Rabdovirus that attacks some animals, especially the dog, and is transmitted by saliva in dog and cat bites. It is a compulsory slaughter and notifiable disease. All homeothermic animals are susceptible to it. Suspected wild animals must be killed to examine the brain for evidence of rabies. After the animal bites, rabies prevention is based on physical elimination of the virus by proper wound treatment and specific immunological procedures.

This empirical research is based on the study of the relationship between the perception of the marketing mix and the quality of service and customer loyalty in a restaurant in the department of Lima - Peru. The field work was carried out in the Delpino restaurant located in the province of Huaral, district of Chancay. A total of 400 customers were surveyed. The results obtained can serve as a guide for businesses in the same field in terms of the variables studied.

Social networks are currently a great medium for interaction between people, this is used in many cases to create groups of followers to a person, for their ideals or way of being, this leads to the personal brand to play a very important role in marketing, taking into account that many corporate brands take advantage of these followers to publicize their products thanks to the exposure that allows a positioned personal brand, this is how the so-called influencers become a means of exposure of corporate brands. Although it may sound paradoxical, corporate brands use personal brands for their exposure. Identifying how to manage a personal brand takes us back to the literature on branding and corporate brands, generating the need to identify similarities and differences that can have the management of a corporate brand with a personal brand, having as common field the use of social networks.

Over the last decades, the Chilean model of school financing and management has undergone transformations that have led to various problems and generated gaps between different schools. In this context, the emergence of a strong student movement prompted an educational reform, which has focused on the promotion of human rights within the framework of the principles of inclusion, diversity and the rethinking of a model of intercultural education, among others. In this way, it is essential to describe how school management contributes to the construction of life projects considering cultural and gender diversity, which structure the identity of students. To this end, two case studies were carried out in schools in the Tarapacá region, Chile, with a high percentage of students belonging to an indigenous people, as well as migrant status and gender diversity, which made it possible to identify complex interrelationships of interest for understanding and investigating not only the academic role of the school but also its role as an agent of human development.

In the framework of coercive political systems, public security subsystems are distinguished by the establishment of agendas focused on crime prevention, justice delivery and social rehabilitation. However, the relationship between rulers and ruled has been disrupted as security sub-systems have turned to private security strategies such as video surveillance and the hiring of bodyguards. In another sense, public security has led to the self-defence of communities oriented towards self-management and self-governance of relations between civil society and those who govern.

Corrosion is the deterioration due to a chemical or electrochemical reaction of a metal in interaction with the environment, which is why studies have been carried out to increase the properties of metals in terms of their resistance to corrosion when used in corrosive environments. Titanium and its alloys have a particularity which is that it naturally generates an oxide layer when in contact with oxygen which has a low resistance to wear and due to this and the low tribological properties of titanium and its alloys, surface modification methods have been developed which increase the properties of titanium. Among these methods is thermal oxidation, which artificially generates an oxide layer that increases corrosion resistance, wear resistance and tribological properties, among others. The aim of this book is to demonstrate the effect of thermal oxidation on oxide film growth at different heating rates.

The 21st century presents a type of student that perceives from the womb, through Information and Communication Technologies, knowledge during a great part of his life. It is not an easy task to keep them motivated in the academic environment and the danger of apathy hovers around them. Consequently, teachers are challenged every day to teach young people who demand more than a master class, but the inevitable question arises: How can this be achieved? The solution to this dilemma -perhaps the only one- is to free themselves from the constraints of old practices inherited from other teachers and open wide their cognitive doors to the possibilities that creativity allows. From it, knowledge facilitators can design an arsenal of strategic tools loaded with dynamism that will help them to fulfill the planning without fearing the danger of failure. As an additive, one last piece of advice: they should never forget that they are inspirers of soulful beings who deserve to learn and be evaluated with love.

This book presents a study aimed at identifying, through the use of satellite images and Geographic Information Systems, areas potentially suitable for hydrogeological prospecting in the Sebt Brikyne region. The data used are topographic maps, geological maps, Global Digital Elevation Model (GDEM) and satellite images. GIS was used to determine the geomorphological and hydrological features of this region. The use of multi-source spatial remote sensing data enabled the production of a geological mapping sketch, which provides more information because of the detail it provides (1:100,000) compared with existing cartographic documents, and the elaboration of a structural map of the lineaments affecting the area. The cross-referencing of products generated from satellite images and the digital terrain model (DTM) has enabled us to propose a recharge model for the Sebt Brikyne groundwater table.

Some aspects of consistent design and interrelated engineering solutions in hydromechanics of complex unsteady flows optimizing controlled motions of flexible blades and rigid wings of fin thrusters and hydrodynamic stabilizers are considered, including issues of general layout of special mechanisms for recreating hydromechanics processes with useful force reactions, and especially for induced and external manifestations of gradient and eddy currents, with solution of the problem of flow disruption and shock loads on the fence

In this paper we develop a diagnosis of the organizational climate for the company LOS TAMBOS DEL CARIBE in the municipality of San Bernardo, Córdoba, through surveys and direct observation, for subsequent analysis with which we seek to improve the shortcomings that are present in the aspects related to the organizational climate. To explore this interesting topic we will find the opinion of important scholars on the subject and we will also rely on the definitions given by prominent authors on the subject. Taking into account what Chiavenato (1992) said, the organizational climate constitutes the internal environment and the characteristic psychological atmosphere that exists in each organization. He also mentions that the concept of organizational climate involves different aspects of the situation, which mutually overlap to varying degrees, such as the type of organization, technology, policies, operational goals, internal regulations (structural factors); in addition to attitudes, value systems and forms of social behavior that are encouraged or punished (social factors).

"The common existence of human beings in the absence of social bonds is a form of war that does not go away even if it is masked". However, too much war unleashes a thirst for living death. I used to complain about the injustices and the silent disdain that so much violence has left behind, without realising that change is achieved from within. This project was the opportunity to glimpse what more than a decade of Colombian armed conflict unleashes in the direct victims, and what psychological tools can rebuild.

The aim of this study is to analyse the relationship between heavy metal and tattoos based on a series of interviews conducted in 2016, in which the subjects explain the factors that motivated them to get tattoos and relate them to their preferences, sometimes linked more directly and sometimes more indirectly to this musical subgenre. In this sense, this attempt seeks to relate these instances based on the reported experience of each subject through an anthropological analysis.

Today we realise that death is still a taboo subject. Both religions and philosophical systems have ideas about death, even truths about death, but the question arises: What about Heidegger's existential philosophy, how would death be conceived? This work was born precisely because so many people realise that they experience death in their daily lives more than life. The concept that enshrined the philosopher Heidegger, that is, the "Dasein", the being there in a situation in which the human being, must make a choice between life, or denying existence, within the possibilities that are possible every day. From this work, he opens up a new vision of understanding death not only as an end, but as an existence without a horizon, by denying life, or seeking to affirm it within the existential possibilities in which there is an opening at every moment of daily existence.

Sexuality in old age is a controversial topic in which many myths and prejudices prevail. Because of this, many people consider old age as an "asexual" stage. The aforementioned can cause uncertainty in the elderly, thus depriving them of experiencing sensations and feelings related to their sexuality. Thus, the elderly may experience some fear and anxiety when they do not understand the physiological changes of the stage. For this reason, the purpose of the research is the construction and validation of the Scale of Attitudes of Mental Health Professionals towards Sexuality in Old Age. It is of utmost importance to know what the attitudes of these professionals are. According to the literature review, the education received by the country's professionals on the subject is often insufficient. The sample used for the research consisted of 164 mental health professionals. These included social workers, counsellors, psychologists and psychiatrists. Participants had to be 25 years of age or older and were selected on the basis of availability.

Shoulder and elbow MSDs are frequently recognized as occupational diseases, and their origins are multi-factorial. No studies have been carried out on anesthesia technicians, yet this activity seems to generate various risk factors. The objectives of this study are to assess musculoskeletal disorders of the shoulder and elbow in anesthesia technicians, as well as their risk factors, and to reveal the impact of these disorders on psychology and quality of life. To meet our objectives, we conducted a cross-sectional survey of a representative sample of anesthesia technicians providing care and anesthesia in the operating theatres of the Sahloul University Hospital in Sousse. A total of 24 anesthetists were surveyed, with the mean of the MSK-HQ questionnaire calculated as 31.12/56; with HAD-Depression: 11.4/21 and HAD-Anxiety: 13.82/21. MSDs of the upper limb are a real scourge in the care environment, both in terms of prevalence and the associated disability and degradation of work capacity engendered. Multidisciplinary management is essential.

Wilson's disease is a rare genetic disorder caused by an abnormality in copper metabolism, leading to its accumulation in various organs, mainly the liver, brain and cornea. Its prognosis has improved since the advent of copper chelators. Hence the need for early diagnosis to avoid disease progression and complications.

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the temporal stability, over one week, of a lower body power assessment protocol performed on a horizontal leg press, equipped with isoinertial technology coupled to a sensor to measure the speed of execution and to a computer software for data analysis. Seven 15-year-old soccer players from the youth academy of a professional club were evaluated. The process consisted of 3 phases: familiarization session, first evaluation and second evaluation, with periods of 1 week between each phase. The values of mean power, maximum peak power, mean peak power, mean velocity, maximum peak velocity and mean peak velocity were recorded for both the concentric and eccentric phases in bilateral execution, execution with the left leg and finally with the right leg.
