This study focuses on the caregiver as an integral being who, when experiencing permanent or temporary care of a family member, has to face new forms of adaptation; this caregiver stress syndrome has economic, occupational and family repercussions that affect the well-being of both the person with disabilities and the informal caregiver and family. In this way, it is possible to identify the social factors involved in the caregiving process and at the same time strengthen the commitment of health personnel to develop actions that favor equal and humanized care for both the caregiver and the patient, and through these actions improve the quality of life of both subjects.

This work will address the use of playful elements in the practice of the teaching-learning process in Mathematics in Elementary School. Aiming to consider the importance of using play in the teaching-learning process in teaching Mathematics in this teaching modality; Reflect on the contribution of play to meaningful learning of mathematics in this teaching modality; Identify, in the educational practice of teachers in the initial grades of Elementary School, the benefits of a methodology that values play as a mediating resource for learning. To achieve the objectives, quantitative research was used as a methodological procedure, using a semi-open questionnaire as a data collection instrument, applied to 10 teachers who work with this educational modality under study. The work is based on authors such as: Almeida (2001), Vygotsky (1998), Santos (1997 ¿ 1999 ¿ 2000), Kishimoto (1993 -2003), Macedo (2000), Teixeira (2004), among others.

Stress remains a latent problem that significantly affects the life of the sufferer. Its experience or control may be related to family ties. For this reason, the present study aimed to determine the relationship between manifestations of stress and intrafamily relationships, as well as the association between its components. To this end, 196 secondary school students of both sexes (M=14.40 and SD=1.87) participated and were administered the Fimian, et al. Stress Manifestations Scale (SSI-MS) and the Rivera and Andrade Scale for the Evaluation of Intrafamily Relations (ERI). The results show that there is a significant, negative and average relationship between the variables and their components, with the exception of the intrafamily relationship difficulties dimension, where the relationship is positive. It is concluded that the higher the level of experiencing stress, the lower the reciprocal interconnections between family members.

The present work considers the knowledge acquired during the diploma course in university education, which has served to organise and structure an educational project that has as fundamental elements: planning, organisation, temporal delimitation, pedagogical approaches and evaluation criteria, among others. All these elements have been very useful to rethink the methodology used in the subject of Research Techniques in the Social Communication degree, with the aim of improving and strengthening co-instructional strategies in order to move from a traditional approach to a constructivist approach. The steps presented in this work reflect the process that was followed in order to base the problem and the objectives that were set out, each of these elements have been carefully considered taking co-instructional strategies as a specific part, that is to say, focusing on a specific part of the teaching-learning process.

Families have changed, which brings us face to face with the need to reformulate the concept of family. The socio-cultural phenomena that are taking place in Mexico have repercussions on the family institution. Women continue to be a very important link in Mexico's economy, but it is also women who suffer most from depression and the family is a very important part of their recovery.

The purpose of the study is to determine the effectiveness of the application and registration of the value added tax (VAT) in the hotel services sector, according to the Tax Concertation Law (LCT N° 822). From there arises the interest to know which is the procedure and registration of VAT, the effects that these reforms produce in the law and the category assigned to the General Directorate of Revenue in which the Hotels of Juigalpa are found? The Hotel Companies that are under this condition of subject and agent of VAT withholding, are committed to perfect their way of records and internal controls, which allow them to fulfill all their obligations, including the payment of this tax and also to avoid the sanctions derived from the noncompliance of the dispositions established in the present Law.

The general aim of this book is to reflect on some aspects of linguistic politics that may permeate the speech acts (Armengaud, 2006; Melo, 2014; Pinto, 2006, 2014) of the novel Vidas Secas (Candido, 2012; Moraes, 2012) by Graciliano Ramos, in order to improve approaches that refer to linguistic politics (Correa, 2014; Rajagopalan, 2013, 2014) and agency (Asad, 2000; Ahearn, 2000) from a proposal to study a classic of national literature. In this sense, the research is divided into three axes: linguistic politics, speech acts and the literary text in question, which are interconnected through the specific objectives: a) discuss the concepts of politics and linguistic politics; b) investigate possible traces of linguistic politics in the literary writing of Graciliano Ramos; c) learn about the author's political identity; d) defend the idea that Vidas secas corresponds to a novel about the discovery of language; e) think about speech acts and their political function in this narrative; f) define the characters as social agents and their practices as agency.

Surgical assistance on board is not simple. It presents a series of peculiarities that are not found in the rest of the healthcare field. For this reason, personal experiences can take on special relevance. Both authors have sailed on Spanish Navy ships in the Atlantic, Indian and Mediterranean oceans. Our mission has been to ensure that crew members do not fall ill and, should this unfortunately happen, to provide them with the maximum possible medical support in order for them to recover their health. This book describes previously published "surgical experiences" in Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Atalanta, Operation FINUL, during the FLOTEX exercise and on a Juan Sebastian Elcano cruise. Many readers will not be familiar with these missions. Another objective is to discover this "hidden" role of the Spanish Military Health. We hope that the Virgen del Perpetuo Socorro (Patroness of Military Health) and the Virgen del Carmen (Patroness of the Navy) will enlighten us in our informative task and with their support we will be able to reach a good port.

Nutrition plays a fundamental role in mental capacity and intellectual performance. Childhood malnutrition is a pathology of multi-causal etiology, which affects the entire human organism systemically, with immediate and intermediate complications and long-term sequelae, as well as being reversible with timely, comprehensive, multidisciplinary and sustained management. This book focuses on the evaluation of the nutritional status of children under 5 years of age and its social determinants in the Creciendo con Nuestros Hijos (CNH) programme in the Parish of Llacao.

The aim of this book was to understand the relationship between popular journalism and sensationalism in Pernambuco, using the police section of the Folha de Pernambuco newspaper as an object of study. Some editions of the newspaper were analysed in order to identify the use of sensationalism. The study presents the differences and characteristics of popular journalism and sensationalism, the limits of the concept of sensationalism, the language used by popular newspapers, the production of news and the relationship between popular journalism and citizenship. With the content analysis applied to the Police section, it was possible to observe and understand the content that is reported in the vehicle and the audience to which the newspaper is directed. The change in the focus of photojournalism and the newspaper's language were some of the main changes that occurred in the section studied. Based on the works of journalists Márcia Franz Amaral (Jornalismo Popular) and Danilo Angrimani (Espreme que sai sangue), the research comes to the conclusion that the content analysed presents few characteristics in quantity, in the published content, that could be considered sensationalism.

Unlike all the climate changes that have affected the planet throughout its history, the hand of Man is behind most, if not all, of the causes of the change we are witnessing at the present time, and there is another completely new element, which is the time period over which the change is occurring. No change in the global climate in the past has occurred in so few years.The "Mars Sample Return Campaign" is a joint NASA/ESA effort to bring Martian rock and soil samples safely to Earth, where they can be investigated in unprecedented detail using the full capabilities of Earth-based laboratories. The sample return mission is designed to continue the work of the Perseverance rover.Everyone knows what the Moon is, they will say that it is very bright with an intense white light, that it has light and dark areas, that it has phases in a cycle of approximately 28 days and that each day it can be located in a different place in the sky, following an eastward motion contrary to the general daily westward motion of the entire celestial vault.

In recent times, it has been seen that Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) has become present more frequently in the school environment, manifesting itself through behavioural problems or through learning difficulties in areas such as reading, writing and mathematics, so I considered doing a study in the area of reading to identify the level of reading comprehension of children with and without this disorder, The results showed that children with ADHD who are on medication perform as well as or better than children without ADHD. These results are of great importance to prevent some education professionals from labelling them as distracted, spoiled or lazy, and to encourage other colleagues to carry out similar studies in other areas to test other skills and competencies.

A study was carried out to determine the presence of Ehrlichia canis, a gram-negative and obligate intracellular bacterium, which plays a zoonotic role in public health, as it is transmitted by Rhipicephalus sanguineus "brown dog tick" that bites and occasionally infects humans. A total of 49 blood samples were obtained randomly from dogs without considering breed, sex or age; 32 of the samples were obtained in the Municipal Kennel of Iquique, while the other 17 were obtained in veterinary clinics Zoomundo, Veterinaria Iquique and Central Veterinaria of the city of Iquique, such samples were analyzed with an immunochromatographic kit and after such analysis 3 dogs were observed positive to Ehrlichia canis, therefore it is concluded that Ehrlichia canis is present in the city of Iquique.

In the memoirs of ¿new prose¿ V.P. Kataev almost completely mastered the semantic potential of the forms of organization of narrative and chronotope. Thus, space and time in the herös consciousness turn into forms of expression of his state and experience. The novel ¿My Diamond Crown¿, as a significant phenomenon of art, has a special energy of aesthetic impact, since the style of the novel is characterized by a large internal capacity, the ability to influence readers not only of our time, but also of subsequent eras. Spiritual contacts between the author of a novel and readers are an incentive that has a huge impact on the structure of the work and its style. The artist¿s desire to express the ideas and images that excite him is understandable. And this desire, we believe, is inseparable from V.P. Kataev¿s desire to convince the reader of the vital, aesthetic significance of the images he creates, to captivate the reader with the entire structure of the narrative, the development of the plot.

In today's society, the development of children's motor skills is not a commonly relevant topic for parents. From the time they reach the age of 1, they should receive proper stimulation of their motor and cognitive skills, which go hand in hand with learning. In the integral development centre there are children from 1 to 4 years of age, in each stage they receive recreational and necessary activities for their proper development, from how to use food or toilet utensils to learning to dress themselves. Apart from these activities, the technologists stimulate their fine motor skills, especially the movement of their hands and fingers, with various activities they can learn how to hold beads, tweezers, twist and thread objects to help strengthen their muscles.

The aim is to evidence a social tension that exists in Colombia regarding the level of deference we should have with the rest of the animal species, a tension that permeates the scenarios of legal battle for their protection and rights, resulting in both legislative and jurisprudential ambivalence. A political-moral and empirical study will be made on the legal regulation of the matter, with a brief reference to comparative and public international law, reviewing the landmark judgments and finally analyzing the theoretical feasibility of positivizing rights to some species of non-human animals in the Colombian cultural context.

Candida has the ability to adhere to surfaces and form biofilms that can be up to a thousand times more resistant to antimicrobials. Nanoparticles (NPs) obtained by biological synthesis (green synthesis) are of particular interest because they are environmentally friendly. An emerging strategy is to combine NPs such as silver (NPAg) with antifungals (ATF) used in the clinic, in search of synergy. Studies were conducted with biosynthesised NPAg alone and combined with an ATF such as amphotericin B (AmB) against mature Candida biofilms. C. albicans and C. tropicalis strains were used, biofilms were formed and the activity of NPAg, AmB, and the combination of NPAg + AmB was evaluated. It was quantified by crystal violet staining. In addition, the biofilm structure was observed by brightfield and fluorescence optical microscopy. In mature C. albicans biofilm, the biosynthesised Ag NPs, alone and in combination, showed significant antibiofilm activity. These results are encouraging as a possible strategy for the treatment of biofilm-resistant fungal infections.

This paper aims, in a preliminary way, to corroborate the hypothesis that the state plays a preponderant role in the search for what we know as Buen Vivir (for many, synonymous with happiness). To this end, a review of the concepts of happiness has been carried out. In the search for the link between happiness and the role of the state, the main postulates of what is known as "the economics of happiness" have been analysed, to conclude with the study of some macroeconomic data from the last decade in Ecuador that support the central postulate of this research. The results lead us to conclude that, when the State makes the right public investment that stimulates the economy, and this in turn improves the quality of life of the population, it is possible to achieve Buen Vivir, or in other words, happiness.

We often think of law as something abstract, whereas nothing could be more concrete. It can be seen as a set of legal charges and fields analogous to electrostatic charges and fields. The human person is also comparable to a positive charge. The right of ownership, for example, is a positive charge that ensures the protection of a property by repressing a non-owner who wishes to access the enjoyment or possession of this property without being authorized to do so. A contract is a set of dipoles by which an obligation, with a positive charge, obliges a debtor to deliver a good or service to a creditor holding a claim, with a negative charge. The law is a set of positive charges placed on a ruler, whose parallel field forces will govern a population.

The use of intermediate materials and elements in implant-supported restorations has been questioned as to whether or not they are advantageous with regard to the deformation suffered by the implant and peri-implant tissue. It is therefore essential to work on a scientific review where, with a level of evidence 1 -2, we can clarify a proposal for a protocol or work system that guarantees the success of our restorations.

In this manual we will study the branch of applied ethics that reflects, deliberates and makes normative and public policy proposals to regulate and resolve conflicts in social life, especially in the life sciences, as well as in medical practice and research that affect life on the planet, both now and in future generations. This notion of Bioethics consists of two aspects: the need for a conceptual approach, since there is no universal definition as such; and, on the other hand, a notion is needed that allows it to be transferred to the operational field and put into practice.

It deals with THEORETICAL CONCEPTS and different visions of professionals from different intellectual disciplines and testimonies of producers and journalists, of the psychological factors that move television viewers to choose banal, trivial, biodegradable programming, and at the same time complain about it. They give ratings and then publicly criticise the content, especially on free (non-paying) television channels.

The monograph studies mixed integrals of Voltaire convolution type operators of two variables in generalized Gelder spaces of different orders on each variable, defined by a mixed continuity module. We consider Gelder spaces defined both by first-order differences of different orders on each variable and by mixed second-order differences, the main interest being the evaluation of the latter for the mixed fractional integral in both cases when the density of the integral belongs to the Gelder class of those defined by ordinary or mixed differences.

Road accidents are caused by various factors, including the driver, the vehicle itself, the road, and even environmental factors. However, the main factor causing road accidents is human and is related to the individual's own behaviour, for example, the poor combination of driving and alcohol consumption, driving and speeding, and nowadays the presence of distracting behaviours. In the results of this book, distractors such as the use of mobile phones, activities such as smoking, eating, drinking, even the presence of unrestrained pets in the vehicle, among others, can be observed. The information presented here can be useful for designing programmes or strategies aimed at young drivers or even teenagers in order to prevent them from suffering a road accident as a result of a distraction.

How does it relate to and affect the quality of life and psychosocial factors in people with HIV/AIDS, in accordance with the comprehensive care model, from their diagnosis, treatment and support in the process or development of the disease, according to the Public Health policies in force in Chile? HIV/AIDS affects 33.2 million people in the world and 24,014 people in Chile (MINSAL, 2012), which from its development, diagnosis and treatment are part of the comprehensive health care model in accordance with current public health policies in Chile. According to the strategic objectives of MINSAL (2010), the classification according to WHO and the United Nations AIDS Organisation (UNAIDS), the global HIV epidemic in Chile is a concentrated epidemic, i.e. its transmission is in specific groups of the population, with a national prevalence of over 5% in populations at higher risk (as is the case of homosexual/bisexual men) and under 1% in pregnant women. This descriptive study analyses the current situation of the quality of life and psychosocial factors of people with HIV/AIDS in Chile.

If it is possible to reconcile economic development with environmental preservation, why do perceptions against this possibility stand out? The environment can, in certain circumstances, be associated with positive values, but it can easily go from the role of good guy to that of villain if it is seen as a factor with the potential to hinder certain investments. Just as easily as the importance of preserving the natural environment is recognized, environmental issues can be seen as major obstacles to investment and a barrier to development. This mismatch between perceptions of the possibility of reconciling development and environmental preservation is especially evident in Brazilian environmental licensing. The obstacles associated with infrastructure projects, for example, may be more related to weaknesses in management and planning than to any specific area, but even so, the process of villainizing environmental licensing is still present. Throughout the pages of this book, we will try to examine whether this reputation as a villain is fair or whether there is a bit of fiction in this plot.

I am guided by the desire to give continuity to my previous book, which allowed me to learn about the lives of older rural women: "Género y Ruralidad1. Testimonies of the lives of rural women in Chiloé". Given that the rural world has been blurring to be assimilated to an urbanity, which increasingly ascribes strongly to postmodernity from a sociocultural perspective and I have felt the epistemological need to show the evolution that the lives of Chiloé women are experiencing, considering the marked changes that have occurred in Chiloé in recent decades. In this book I show the current social transformations in the world of Chiloé, through the visibility of the lives of women identified not only with marriage and children, as was the case with their mothers and grandmothers, but who have begun to learn about other facets of social and cultural life, which has led them to achieve greater personal achievements, structuring their own lives from the world of paid work and changes in marriage and family. This book is also an open door to further research on the subject and embodies my passion for social research.

The genus Atherinella contains 35 species of which the state of Chiapas, Mexico presents 3: Atherinella alvarezi, Atherinella guatemalensis and Atherinella schultzi, which present confusions or records of undescribed forms. The present study was carried out with the purpose of evaluating and comparing morphologically the freshwater species of the genus Atherinella in the state of Chiapas. A total of 101 specimens were evaluated by geometric morphometry and traditional morphometry. The presence of three groups was confirmed and the analyzed specimens do not correspond to the reported species. These results allow us to propose the existence of undescribed taxa that present a morphological variation possibly generated by evolutionary processes such as adaptation and diversification. New taxonomic knowledge of the genus Atherinella in Chiapas, Mexico is provided.

Taxpayers in Ecuador show little interest in certain aspects, especially in the tax and accounting areas, resulting in the omission to comply with their formal duties, in addition to making inaccurate tax declarations. The Tax Administration, having powers, attributions and obligations over the determination, collection and control of internal taxes, will determine a subsequent tax with the imposition of sanctions, through credit titles, in respect of which there are stages of discussion in the administrative venue and collection by means of coercive collection. In view of this sanctioning taxation power of the State, the law acquires importance in the relations with the tax administrations in Ecuador as an instrument of balance in the relations between the Treasury and the taxpayer. It is therefore necessary to define not only the taxes, but also the right of taxpayers and responsible parties in their relations with the tax administrations in Ecuador and the due process in the powers of the Tax Administrations.

The institutional mechanisms that the university promotes in the search for linkage strategies with the productive sector must facilitate the social appropriation of knowledge and the technological innovation necessary to promote national development. Among the mechanisms that contribute significantly to this purpose is university-business knowledge transfer. Hence, the present study seeks to identify the impact of the trainee's performance in this process. The objective of the research was achieved by describing and analysing the performance of the intern in the university - company knowledge transfer, among which weaknesses stand out in: the use of specific engineering software, in the practical application of knowledge and in the planning of activities. Based on this, recommendations are made to overcome these weaknesses.
